Target in Medford is conveniently located between Interstate 5 and the Rogue Valley Mall. They have good deals on Health and Household Essentials, often including store credit through a gift card if you spend a certain amount, which is nice if you're planning to buy it anyway or stocking up. If I'm not sure where a product would be in the store, I can look up the location through the app. I also earn $ when I scan my free Target Circle membership QR code at checkout! I don't really interact with employees here since they are big on self check-out, but when I have to return an item I didn't end up needing, staff at customer service is always pretty friendly and easy-going. read more

Extremely negative store experience yesterday 11/7. As soon as I walked in to the store there is a woman and her dog. It is a large dog, no leash, no service dog jacket. Nothing. Also, it is not right next to her, it is just loose In the Store. I avoid the area, walk out of my way to avoid the Loose Dog in the Store. I then call Target to tell them this, and I get the prompt to click 2 "for a list of departments" and then 2 for "customer service" AND it hangs up on me. I tried this multiple times and could not get through because when I followed the prompts it just hung up on me. So annoying! So I could not even report it right away. I got back up to the register to check out and the dog is sitting to the left of the check stands by itself! She, the woman, is at a check stand away from her dog. Really?! However, what really Irks me is that I see the employees at the front of the store observing this and doing NOTHING. They did see it. So I go up to one of them (after the dog has left) and ask for the manager and it is her. She is the manager and she did nothing. I voiced my complaint and she said if she sees them again she will say something. Why did she not say something the first time? She did not seem upset at all. Does it take an innocent customer who expects safety and comfort in their shopping experience to get attacked, bitten or unnerved for Target to do something? A dog that is "friendly" and "does not bite" could. I am a witness to this. Absolutely unacceptable. Taking my business elsewhere. Target is not protecting their customers. read more

Excellent location, close to the I-5 freeway. We were driving through Oregon and needed to recharge our Tesla, so we stopped at the superchargers and then I realized that we were next to Target! So while the. car was charging I decided to go into Target and do some shopping. Target has always such a good selection of everything, I also realized that Oregon has no sales tax, which was amazing for us, out-of-state people who visit. I was there during Covid, and noticed that staff was wearing their masks, and there were signs at the door requiring customers to wear masks, I also visited the bathrooms and they were clean. I am visiting family from out of town and dressing rooms were closed for the " safety hazard" of clothes stacked everywhere because employees are not putting them back on hangars or back on shelves. I stopped at this Target in an attempt to pick up a replacement prescription that I had originally thought that I left home. As it turned out, I fooled myself in my packing organization and within the bowels of my backpack, I found it later. I soon found out that transferring this prescription (across State lines?) required my Doctor's and the Insurance Company's approval. The former was easy and the later never came (Thanks Health Net). The staff person at the Pharmacy counter was nice and apologetic about the whole thing, especially the uninsured cost of the meds (which I declined). Even though this was a wasted trip, it was sort of on the way and at least I have a marker for the next time I'm in Town. read more

Starbucks inside, Chase ATM, snack/food court, market etc... I dig the (almost) one stop shopping I can get done here, knowing their return policy is hassle free, employees who seem to appear to enjoy themselves and a (usually) calm parking lot. Nothin exactly above par or below... However, the extra help I've gotten from the employees earns that extra star. read more

I came in shortly before Christmas to ask about Nintendo Switches, since I'm totally inept when it comes to technology. These guys were so freaking helpful and knowledgeable (beyond superior to those lazy schleps at Best Buy). Not only did they answer all my questions, but they went above and beyond price comparing for me. I purchased the switch, and headed home. But....wait!!!! I got halfway home and realized I was missing $25 in cash that had fallen out of my cheap vest pocket. I called Target Electronics department hoping for a miracle! Lidia answered and said they found my cash! She promptly returned it to me when I went back in! This team is kick ass, super duper fly, knowledgeable, pro gaming, awesome possum associates. I enjoyed their customer service so much, I returned after New Years and bought another Nintendo Switch for myself. I have always been a fan of Target. This one needs help. I have been here countless times and they are always out of stock. I'm talking carpet cleaned, garbage bins, pillows, and countless other items. Staff are nice enough; helpful and attempt to assist in finding items. Inventory needs a complete re-haul. One star. That's being generous & that is only because making a return was fairly easy even though the tags had been removed. That being said, after making our return, my husband & I went to look for a replacement of the item we returned. We were appalled at the complete disorganization of this store. We could not figure out where exactly the women's (or men's) department was. The layout is confusing, with sections of the clothing in scattered areas that make no sense. Separated by walls, aisles, not clearly marked & no flow whatsoever. We ended up not finding a single thing we were looking for. The clothing racks were in complete disorder, normally there are organized departments (ie: active wear, sleepwear, casual, work attire, etc.) things were everywhere, tons of jam-packed clearance racks & just as many racks that were completely empty. The entire store looked & felt dirty, including the bathrooms that are down a weird, creepy hallway. I have been a life long Target shopper, generally preferring them over WalMart, Sears or Kohl's. Not this store. I will not be going back here for any reason, ever. Complete disappointment, I'd rather shop at Goodwill than set foot in this store again. read more

Taylor, with the mobile kiosk in electronics is AWESOME! We're seniors, and use Consumer Cellular. My husband's flip phone was old - - dying. Had purchased a new flipper, installed the new sim card, and it wouldn't transfer over to the new phone. And - in the midst of trying to do the changeover, all at once my 'droid decided it didn't recognize the sim card in MY phone! (And I wasn't even touching it!) ... Spending an hour with the carrier by phone didn't do any good. Had to make the 40 mile trip to Medford Target. We were blessed with meeting Taylor there. Inside of 10 minutes, (probably 5), this young lady did her magic. Zip-Zip-Zip-Alla-Kazam- BANG!! My 'droid was working! My husband's new flip phone, ditto! And all at no charge! I love Target. I've been shopping at Target since the 80's. I loathe Walmart and I'm very happy that this store exists. I happily drive 30 minutes to shop here with a Walmart 5 minutes away. The employees have been helpful for the most part. The store is clean and well stocked. I buy my Fage yogurt here because they have varieties that no one else carries. (blood orange and lime being my personal favorites) They carry Ripple plant based milk, it's the only thing we use these days. (the chocolate is evil delicious) I stock up during my monthly shopping trip. Other than that, what's there to say? It's target and I prefer them over any of the other big box stores. The only thing I dislike at this location is the lack of self checkout. But I found a particular cashier that's awesome and she's usually here, so no big deal. Some of the other cashiers seem completely confused by life. There's been a few instances that I've seen the same homeless person heading into the restroom with merchandise. Likely worst Target in the country. Make up rules on promotions. No concept of customer service. Literally had hundreds of an item in the shelf, last day of the promotion, and would not let me buy 8 Tide washing detergent because "everyone needed a chance to buy them". The manager begrudgingly agreed after I suggested she apply reason to the situation, but she would only give me 2 out of 4 $5 gift cards. I understand they have the right to limit items, but this limit on gift cards seemed rather arbitrary. The $10 was not as much of an issue as the terrible handling of the situation - making me and the new cashier feel awkward, holding up a line that was already long, and applying arbitrary numbers and rules on purchasing a product that was plentiful.For the potential $10 saving to Target, I walked out without purchasing and will likely not purchase anytime soon from them...some brilliant business plan they have there. #target #targetsucks #poorservice read more

I went from going to target on a weekly basis to going maybe once every 2 months since moving here and having this as my local target. The shelves are never stocked, it's very disorganized, and there are boxes and carts everywhere all the time regardless of the season. I honestly have thought about posting for a long time but didn't until I went there today and once again had a bad experience. In addition, the girl at customer service was very unhelpful when I was asking about a diaper promotion. I was holding a 6 month old and had my 2 year old in the cart and she didn't offer to help me find the correct diapers or explain to me which diapers worked on the promotion. After finishing Black Friday shopping and my family had been in line for a while, I stepped out to use the restroom. When I tried to rejoin them, the Red Shirt stopped me at the taped-off line and told me I had to go completly around theough the store and crowd. I explained that my family was in the line, I am a disabled veteran, and I just wanted to rejoin them. The associate told me that was "not her concern." and covered her badge when I asked her name. Probably the rudest experience I've had in a Target!! My brother and I walked in with the intention of buying a WiiU and some of its accessories. We looked around the electronics department and decided exactly what we wanted, and then approached an employee since you need assistance. I get it's Christmas time and retail gets stressful and crazy, but that doesn't excuse a rude attitude towards a customer. When we first approached him he was putting security wires around other merchandise and after a few awkward seconds of standing there, he finally asked if we needed assistance. I began to tell him what we wanted and before I could finish and without looking at me, he just rudely interrupted and told me 'to give him a second'. Whatever I can ignore that, it got really rude when we walked over to get the stuff. He asked if I wanted the bundle WiiU (comes with a couple games) or not. I was unaware they were selling the latter, so I asked him if there was a price difference, to which he replied no. I think a pretty common response to that is to question why one would get the non-bundle WiiU then, but he took that question as some personal insult and responded with an annoyed tone 'I have to ask you that'. So you're told to ask customers that, but not know much about the merchandise you're HOPEFULLY trying to convince people to buy? Once we finally got everything and were at the register ringing it all up he yet again got annoyed with me. Apparently sliding my card before he scanned everything made his life that much more difficult. Or at least that's what his snappy request to do it again said to me. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the lady in the express lane was a total sweetheart. Also, can't go wrong with Oregon's no sales tax! All in all, so glad this isn't my neighborhood Target. read more

I don't see why costumers are so rude. Maybe these are old reviews. I've had nothing but awesome customer service here, and come probably every week. Friendly cashiers that are fast and handle stress way better than I would. Customers continuously drop clothes on the floor or don't put them all the way back on the hangers, which would be frustrating to me if it was my job to keep merchandise looking nice on display. The women I've seen working in the section I shop always have been super happy doing their jobs the best they can. I even witnessed a store manager today, who had just given team members tasks to do, kindly help an elderly woman find the right size dress for like 15 minutes!!!! I like this Target location but I don't like how there's only one entrance and literally two exits. As usual Target is my go-to for things I need last-minute. Target is highly dependable especially if you're looking for things that you really need.
