This goodwill is pretty well organized, staff is friendly and welcoming upon entering. There's a decent selection of everything from clothes, books, mini home appliances, to home furniture. The prices are great on clothes and furniture, some of the mini home appliances are priced a little high, just depends on what you are looking for. read more

You know, there once was a time when poor people could come here and shop, and that was what the Good Will represented. But these days it is just another retail store trying to make as much money as they can get. The poor get swept under the rug, and again the people with more money are robbing the poor so to speak for a better deal for themselves. I wish someday they would have shopping for poor people that shows their income, because now there is really no fair place to low income people to shop. Good Will shouldn't be pricing anything so high and yet they do. It is a shame. read more

Recently, the prices at Goodwill have skyrocketed. I get inflation, but this is nuts! I looked at sneakers today in Yreka - $25. My son needed sandals for summer - but not at $17. It's a rather low income town, and Yrekans could pay less at Walmart for new shoes. In general, the prices have increased significantly in recent months. I'm all for supporting job training and recycling goods. But, if the average person in Yreka cannot afford to shop at Goodwill, something is wrong. There are other, local thrift stores in town with much better prices. I'll be spending more time at those stores until Goodwill's prices come back down to earth. read more

I went in today to find a disposable Christmas platter for a party... I browsed around, most (no name/nothing special) shirts were $9.99 The kids pj's $5.99 Serving trays (plastic) and Christmas wrapping paper $3.99 A plain Christmas sweater $12.99 Saw the same exact tray in Goodwill priced at $4.99 that I bought brand new at Dollar Tree for $1.25 Not shopping Goodwill again! Shame on Goodwill! Everything is donated, the good stuff goes on their website and they charge more than Walmart, Target and Kohl's for used clothing! read more

I've always experienced nice & helpful employees. However the prices here are not very fair to the people who visit. This is a charity that gets tax free write offs, including for hiring people with special challenges & tax free donations. Goodwill can do more for the community & it's employees with all the free donations & low wage employees. Do they give away clothing and items to the needy? If not, they should. My family used to donate a lot to Goodwill before understanding how they use the donations & how little really goes to those in need. We will give it directly to those in need. read more

Good merchandising. Nice people work inside the store; not always nice people accept donations. Sometimes I've found something really good; mostly I haven't. Clothes are generally worn out. I have donated a LOT of really good clothes and other things to Goodwill yet I've never seen them in the store. I've stopped donating as much as I used to since they went to their online system; it's a hassle. It's been several years since I looked for a "treasure" here. I've started donating to other charitable organizations like Habitat for Humanity and Saint Vincent de Paul where they still make it easy. read more

I was a little sad that the jewelry counter didn't have much in it but I understand theft has been a problem so I get it. I was very happy with my experience. I own a retail store and found this Goodwill had the best selection of decor and display props that I needed. I went and returned one item within 4 days and ended up buying a whole new cart of stuff that had just been put out. Great prices, clean, nice staff, and frequent updates to inventory - I'm hooked. read more

This used to be an awesome place to shop. Now that they have gone (501)C they have raised their prices and they have the gall to ask everyone if they want to donate extra money to whatever cause it is they are. When I go into Albertsons they don't ask me if I'd like to pay more for my groceries so I don't appreciate being asked to give them extra money. Goodwill has raised their priced at least by 30% which has hurt by buying power and I can no longer afford to shop there. I have not donated to them since they went corporate. I will donate to local shelters since Goodwill is now a ripoff and that's my humble opinion! read more

Its an alright second hand store. Some of the shirts had stains on them. A North face backpack had a rip in it and was at $30. They should of checked it better before putting that price and at least emptying the little trash in it. Overall this place has alot of stuff, its quite big but they mostly cater to women clothing, dishes, electronics and knickknacks. Make sure to check whatever you buy for defects. read more

Better than the White City and Ashland one, more clothes to pick from. But the Central Point location usually has better quality stuff in the plus size section especially jeans. They have a lot more furniture than any other Goodwill in the area though! But St Vincent De Paul has more. St Vincent has hardly any good clothes though. read more

The store is organized, clean and neat. The staff continuously refill the shelves. Pricing is inconsistent meaning sometimes you get an incredible bargain, and sometimes it's close to retail. If I find something overpriced I usually call it to a worker's attention. They usually do something about it though I don't usually wait to see. read more

This is probably the worst Goodwill I have been to. I have been very generous with donations lately as I am preparing to move. I donated about $500 in retail to them today, but they would not accept 2 oil based electric heaters (which do not leak and they could have easily tested) but their excuse was that they don't take hazardous materials. What??? Goodwill accepts cars (which have a lot more hazardous materials, but they make me reload my stuff to try to take elsewhere? They also would not accept a small truck tool box. Again ... What? These fit just about every small truck in existence. The assistant manager (Todd) was of no help, and one of his employees who refused to give me his name was quite rude. I will never donate to Goodwill again. There are other places who will appreciate donations and will not be picky. Rude and unacceptable is the name of the game at the Medford Oregon location. read more

I enjoy thrift shopping here. Items are generally well-organized, staff friendly, and the area is clean. I did notice a roughly $2 increase overall in the past couple of years on their products. Sometimes this just encourages me to purchase brand-new items. Still, overall I enjoy regular trips to "save" money. read more

Ive been in several times hoping to find that great buy but thier prices are consistently to high, even on broken items. I found several items priced no less then a dollar off of what you would find in a retail store. Most of the children's clothing is more than worn out and again over priced. There is a large selection of clothing for everyone, so shop the "color" of the week to get the deal you should be getting daily! No problems with the staff or customer service, I'm rating this store 2 stars just for the sake of being over priced and not the first place I'd go for 2nd hand shopping. read more

This is a pretty decent Goodwill, and pretty large. Me and a friend of mine made a day of thrift shopping and came here (I had already been here a couple times) and we had many nostalgic moments looking through their VHS and cassette collection. And then we gave into our nostalgic selves and purchased a few. The one problem with this one is that they NEVER have enough people working on the registers. When we got in line it started getting so long it was weaving through the isles. There were two cashiers (who, honestly, were dealing with annoyingly difficult customers, and we work retail so we understood and gave them a break) and they even called out on the speakers multiple times that they needed more people up at the front and nobody came. What the hell? Way to help out your co-workers... We were in line for a good 15 minutes. But of course our checkouts were smooth because we had our money OUT AND READY since we were in line so long. The people who shop here aren't that great either (apparently); we both only had a few things and everybody in front of us who had entire carts full of items didn't even offer to let us go ahead of them. So, that was annoying. When we were looking through racks of clothes we had people shove past us with their carts, too. Really? Can you not use your words like an adult and say "excuse me?" Or, I don't know, cover your face when you're attempting to hack up one of your lungs? Just a thought. One other thing: my friend had a DVD that she purchased at the Goodwill in Ashland just a few days before, that she wanted to return because she couldn't play it (apparently there's a difference between HD DVDs, and Blu-rays. That's pointless and extremely stupid) and the lady said they don't do returns on DVD's. And my friend was slightly annoyed (what kind of policy is that?) and told the lady that they should have a sign up BY THE DVD's that says so, so other people don't have to guess and check with that. And the lady just looked at her shocked like she was appalled that she suggested that. Um, okay. So yeah. This place is a little weird but, honestly, they have a lot of good deals/stuff here. A lot of different items to choose from. If you can manage to ignore the weird people who generally shop at Goodwill stores, this is a good place. I'll probably be back here soon enough! read more

Donation center getting pickier all the time. Things they accepted a few months ago are suddenly not accepted today and they are snotty about it. I remember when GW was happy for your donations. Now you are made to feel stupid for trying to donate something that manager-of-the-day deems unacceptable. Any future donations from this family will be made to Salvation Army. read more
