Just wanted to share my experience with the chashier at my checkout lane today. The cashier was an older woman and very sweet, she seemed to know the person checking out in front of me and made simple sweet small talk and remembered details about that customer from a prior experience(as someone who manages in customer service, I appreciate that). As I was checking out, she made the same genuine small talk, like she was trying to connect with each person she interacts with...then she stopped my transaction to acknowledge 3 children that had run up to her to say "hi", she greeted them and gave them some stickers. That honestly made my day, that woman is an absolute all star and you are very lucky to have her (I wish I got her name so she could get the proper recognition). read more

Oh my goodness ! It's the round bullseye of the Target ! While on vacation and in town for a convention we had to forget something. My goodness, let's find a Target . They have what we need. The phone cords don't work! Where is the brush ? No one knows? Let's use yelp, the Target is so many miles away and in the middle of the forest ! Yay new adventures await thee . What are we looking for as we walk in the door ? This Target is uniquely uniformed like those on the west coast . That makes it easy . Let's continue. The clothing in the women's department is different than what I'm used to. They actually sell trench coats here for ladies. The clothing line for this market is particularly great . Back to what we came in for. The electronics department is not what one would expect. It sort of small, but that's just the area perhaps. We were able to find the cords and cables that we needed. Every thing these days has to be connected and plugged in to enjoy life. After a couple laps around the store we found a "brush" finally we were on the way . The check out is not all automated here, it's an "actual" human that checks an individual out. What a concept, no robots yet here . The staff was warm and welcoming too . Everyone waved and it was genuine . They have a Starbucks inside the store for adventures in caffeine. Now it is time for us to get the day started as Target has fulfilled all our needs . Target - The twins in town ! - Department Stores Near Me - Marlborough, Massachusetts

I've gone to this Target since I was a kid. When I went to check out a couple days ago, there wasn't a single person in line, and there were 2 older women workers gossiping, looking at something on one's phone. I was 2 feet away from them; it took me a minute to say something because I thought maybe they didn't see me... and I'm not a rude person; I didn't want to interrupt, but at this point I had been standing there for a solid 2 minutes. It was awkward, so when I finally decided to say, "Excuse me," the worker said, "You need to wait!" and just looked back at the other worker and continued to talk. I was actually baffled! The girl on her phone then said, "It's fine; you can help her." Then the lady behind the desk rudely took my shirt and took the red security tag off. She didn't say a single word to me, not a hello or "Have a nice day." I only had one clothing item, and this interaction took way too long. I'm very disappointed in this Target; I will not be going back. I'll be going to the other target in Marlborough on Boston Post Rd. Hopefully they have nicer workers. One of the women was older with blonde hair, 50+, and the other one was middle-aged with brown hair, 30-40 maybe. Target, I hope you can have your workers learn some customer service! read more

This is the target I regularly go to. It's always been a store with reliable customer service and good quality products. It's organized and clean. I buy all of my baby products here and have always been happy with my purchases. My 18 month old niece loves it as well. This is why I was incredibly disappointed when I got home and realized that the sippy cup I had bought for her had no straw. I had been so excited about the cup because it is insulated, durable, eco friendly and adorable. One side has a koala and the other side says "I'm A Tuff Koala." The cup is perfect and it was even on sale but there's no way my 18 months old niece will be able to drink this without a straw. Guess I'm gonna have to go back and buy a straw now. read more

Everyone loves Target for the easy of their store layouts, selection of inventory and convenient shopping locations. This Target however cause me stress. I hate that this location happens to be the closest to my house. The staff is ridiculous! Between register workers not saying hello, thank you or good bye when they are waiting on you, to a floor person using their cell phone while walking and bumping into guests, to multiple staff members standing around seemingly just chatting about their lives on a regular basis instead of being helpful, to the barista at the Starbucks who thinks that "yeah" is an appropriate response to "thank you" and lost her hairbrush back in the 7th grade. Would it kill this location to train their staff to treat the customers like they are important? That being said there are two employees at this location who clearly like their jobs and are a wonderful to their customers. I worked in a corporate training position for a chain restaurant for many years. We were trained that if a guest is walking by then you let them go first, even if you are carrying a heavy tray of food. Not a hard concept. At this Target I have seen multiple sales people push by customers to get to where they needed to go. I just don't get it! Will I go back to this location? Probably. Do I try my hardest to avoid it? Yes. Will Target try to help this location train better staff? Based off of the reviews I've seen and the continued terrible service, not likely. read more

As Target's go.. this one is pretty good. I'm not a big box store kind of gal, but I would definately take Target over Walmart. This store is clean and when I was there, it wasn't crowded at all. I got exactly what I went in for and got right out. Plus it's conveniently located near the mall, but it's not IN the mall, which is key, as I loathe malls. read more

I have never ate in Pizza Hut in Target before but never will again. The elderly women working up there was so rude to me. She had me awkwardly wait for her while she cleans. Afterwards she made it seem like I wasn't ready to order. I also paid for my ICEE but I didn't know we can't get refills and her tone of voice was so rude about it. Pizza Hut should put their drinks behind the counters if they don't allow refills. She also helped an Asian guy after me and he didn't understand English so well, she was so rude to him as well. The next person that wasn't Asian, she had a better attitude for them. read more

I rarely write reviews, but... I just went in to return an item at this store in Marlborough, MA. I'm a loyal Target customer, travel a ton and shop in a local Target almost everywhere I go (I've been in this area 2 weeks and have shopped at 3-4 Targets probably 5-6 times). And I can say that I have NEVER been yelled at because I went to the "wrong" end of the return line, which in this store is merged with self-checkout (never have seen this before at any Target). One side of self checkout is just for self checkout and the other side is for BOTH checkout AND returns, and apparently there is supposed to be only one line for it all. Had no idea of this as I followed another woman into the store who also had a return - she walked right up without standing in the "right" line and was served without being yelled out. I stood behind her waiting and then proceeded to be yelled at by not one but two Target employees - the second of which continued to berate me, LOUDLY even after I moved and waited in the "right" spot. WTH?? Needless to say, I'll never shop at this Target again. Please Target do not do this layout with other stores!!! It was a mess and for other shoppers too as I waited. Lastly, stop taking a percent of the gift card I used to purchase many items off of each item during a return, so when I return the pants that cost 35 bucks, I only get 30 back, thereby losing 5 bucks of my GC and the total on my receipt was far more than the GC. Just not right. And again, I am a LOYAL Target shopper, to the point of my friends making fun of me for it. read more

This has been my "home base" target for a few years now, every since we moved from Ashland and left the Framingham location. By the way if you don't recognize that fact that you need a home base Target, then I am not sure I want you reading my reviews(I'll give you a minute to decide).... Okay, so it took us awhile to get to the layout of this one and the size, it isn't the largest target, although its not too bad. It has grown on me and my little girl certainly loves running around, seriously are women programmed to Love Targets, she is only 2 and I rarely see the radiant joy on her face, as I do when she is running around hands up in the air as I chase her around the store! This location has groceries, pharmacy, starbucks, and pizza hut thingy, but not optical I don't believe. It is not as nice as the one across town in Marlborough but it certainly isn't bad. I will say sometimes the lines are a bit long because it seems understaffed, but its probably a timing issue. read more

At times, you feel you own the store... there is no other customer. (very strange for a Target) This Target is much better than the one in Framingham. No lines. Everything is in stock!! Things go on sale earlier and the discount is deeper than the one in Framingham. You don't have to park miles away. read more

I shop here often as the location is convenient but am frequently disappointed due to lack of inventory. I will not be returning after a horrendous experience I had today with the store manager. To say he was condescending and unprofessional is an understatement. I left this location and traveled to Marlborough East where my issue was quickly resolved and I left a very happy customer. This review is mostly about a Target experience last week. My son bought a $50 video game there. After he came home with it, we realized that you couldn't operate it without a monthly subscription fee. There was no labeling on the box, and no labeling on the shelf to articulate this. (In fact, the amount of the monthly fee was hidden in FAQs on the vendor's site, and wasn't even disclosed in the game documentation.) Then we find out that Target doesn't accept video game returns...no exceptions. So $50 lost because the manufacturer (Atari) does not accept returns either, and points you to the retailer site. Target should take some responsibility for the products they peddle to kids...this is unacceptable to me and borders on fraud...and Target is supporting it. read more

Super Target that is. Chock full of the stuff Target is known for and groceries in a pinch, to include Goya (shhhhhhh, don't let the folks at Coldwell Banker Bolton, they dont care for puertorricans in the neighborhood... I like this Target store because it is spacious, clean, and the team members are always friendly. What I like the most is that fact that a pick-up order is almost always ready within 1 hour. I don't think it has ever been more than 2 hours even though they are super busy right now with restocking the shelves with essential items (e.g., soap, hand sanitizer, toilet paper). This place looks great but not much else. It is not well organized and items are misshelved like crazy. More than once I've been into the store and then item has either been incorrectly tagged or a sale tag has been removed or the item is in the wrong place and the cashiers will not honor the price. I understand if you can't honor a price for something that is listed at say $9 but is in fact $30 but how are you supposed to keep tabs on how much you're spending when the tags aren't even right. Fortunately I have a much much better Target close to my house and the few times they do mess up they honor it. Information I will not be shopping here unless I am in dire need of something no place else has. read more

JUNE 2015 : Fine. No problems. Friendly staff. INCREDIBLY convenient to the Solomon Pond Mall AND Routes 290 & 495. And they have 2 entrances. Less walking! :) All items I was looking for were in stock and not extremley overpriced (only a bit more than Walmart, but isn't the closest Walmart all the way up in Hudson?!?! Too far.) Overall, good one-stop shopping. AUGUST 2015 : This visit wasn't as great. I visited on a weekday, Friday August 14, 2015. Got a bunch of stuff I needed, and went to checkout, no problems so far, and I was even able to get some help from an employee (sometimes they are hard to find, not here), to find a Floor Lamp and Back-To-College storage crates (which unfortunately, they only had black, white, and a few gray (yet, at least they had SOME)... non of the tan or teal I bought over in Milford a few weeks ago). Checkout, which I now will call a DISASTER. There were 2 checkout lanes open, and a Returns / Checkout lane open. It took at least 10 minutes to get to another checkout lane, where the woman ringing up the items didn't even work for the store! She worked for Starbucks. They are extremely understaffed in the cashier department and overstaffed in the other areas of the store. She said that it was a rush of customers, and only happens from time to time. I heard another manager saying there was no one else to come to help "cashier-ing". If I want to wait, I'll go to Walmart. So after the visit, I called and spoke with the friendly manager, who assured me that he knew about "the rush" and is planning on having more cash registers open, yet when I mentioned the store I normally go to in Milford, he also said this store is "low-volume", (meaning less foot traffic), and the Milford store is a "high-volume" (busier store), which is understandable as there are two Target stores in Marlborough. Overall, the products were fine, the waiting was annoying, but since the manager told me he was going to change some of the employee break schedules, I won't take off any stars, since I REALLY like this store isn't crowded and that there were employees seen around the store. But if I came back and the same problem occurred that would be a different story..... read more

Very rude. I was on the phone with customer service and was hung up on after being on hold for 30 minutes. All I wanted to know was if a certain pair of pajamas were on sale still. Lack of good customer service! Need better training on how to treat customers when they come to buy stuff from the store.

My wife bought some roll, cold cuts and cheese at target for lunch today. I was enjoying my sandwich when my son pointed out that his cheese was Green. I look in my sandwich and here is what I found. I called Target and they said I could bring it back and they would exchange it. Problem is it would cost me more in gas than the product was worth so I asked them to mail me a refund but no luck. I asked for a supervisor and they gave me the same story. I'll check back Monday to see if I can get to someone who understands Customer Service. read more

I called this store after visiting their Rt. 20 location. I was looking for a baby item that was out of stock (at Rt. 20), in a specific color. I called this location to see if they had it in stock, but they did not. The girl looked in the inventory system and told me that the Westboro store had 3 in stock (in pink). I got to the store, and they had ZERO. I drove close to 45 minutes. I ended up going to Babies R Us for the item. My stupidity for not calling to double check, but wow.. biggest pain in the a$$ ever! read more

I am very unimpressed with the management here. I bought my nephew a new basketball at another store this morning. We bought a pump at this Target. We tried to inflate the ball in this Target's parking lot and the pump needle broke off in my new basketball. The store did refund my pump purchase but when I asked what about the new ball their equipment broke, I was told to take it back to the store I bought it from!?!??!? A store that had done nothing wrong. All I asked is for them to replace the ball their product broke. Nope, this Target management doesn't take responsibility for their products. read more

I absolutely love going to this Target store. Every employee I have asked for assistance has been more than willing to help me out. They are knowledgeable with their products and where to find items. They will go out of their way to locate items in other nearby Target stores if not available in this location. All employees are pleasant and approachable, and the store is always neat and clean. read more

this is the very worst location of a target i have ever been to. i work at one of the offices in the park across the way, and this place is developing a reputation among pretty much everyone as a place to avoid. there are never enough people on cash registers, and they are always stocking during prime shopping hours. i used to come here at least once a week, but now i do all my shopping online, or at a different location. i refuse to come to this store. read more

This target absolutely sucks! Went in again tonight somewhat hesitantly. Got my groceries and proceeded to the checkout which I always dread because they don't have adequate staff. Went to get in the only lane open and the cashier told us to go to register 2 which is where the return counter is and hardly has any room for more than 10 items which I had. A guy cuts in front of us and asks the cashier to match a game price because it's cheaper on amazon prime. This took 10 minutes!!! The lady at the counter didn't even acknowledge us or apologize for calling us over and having this guy take all her attention away. We stood at the counter for 10 minutes while the front manager lady walked around on her walkie patrolling people to those stupid self checkouts. Finally we stormed our cart to a self checkout machine and had problem after problem. We had to wait minutes for someone to come over each time the thing would call for assistance. I love this Target. I recently moved to the other side of Marlboro so this Target is almost around the corner from me. They have everything I could possibly want and any one who I pass while shopping in the store asks me if I need help. When I do they will walk across the entire store to show me what I cannot find. They even have Starbucks and a yummy food area. Returns have never been a problem. The store is clean and if I go when most people are at work and stay away on weekends its a delight as its never too crowded. I just enjoy shopping here and go at least one every other week to stock up on all kinds of goodies and I also always find something new to try. Enjoy read more
