I see that other reviewers have had warm, attentive service, but that was not my experience.

My mother and father are both artists, so I've grown up enchanted with wondrous atmospheres rich with details and intricacies... When my mom raved to my family and said we must check out Nesting, it's safe to say not only was I not disappointed, but rather I was blown away!!! It was better than I could've imagined. In college I created a giant installation made of 2,000+ keys. When I visited nesting, Wendy, the amazing owner offered to lend me all of the keys she had (over 200 of them! All vintage and unique) Naturally, being a college kid it took some time for me to organize myself and get them back to her. 2 years later I showed up with the keys and was met by the warmest welcome and desire to hear all about how the installation went. Needless to say, though I live in Austin, TX now, EVERY year when I am home for the holidays my family and I make a point to go and experience the sensational world Wendy has concocted in her welcoming nest in Concord :) Thank you Wendy for bringing us your magic year round and bringing it special luster over the holidays!

It's the fun of the hunt to find something different. As I walked around, there weren't many "newer items" which is okay in my book! They do good work at this nice little shop in downtown Concord, and because they're one of the few places around that specialize in what they do, it's popular. I'd say the main drawback is the parking, which can be tricky as it's right in Concord Center. Sometimes you have to circle the block a few times for a spot, and when you're carrying a floor lamp or a bulky box, the closer the better, so parking far away isn't ideal. Also, the shop is tiny, and hard to move around in, so I prefer to go right when they open at 10am to avoid crowds. They don't provide written estimates or quotes, they just verbally give you a number, which I don't like, especially when I had to send an estimate to an Etsy seller for reimbursement for repairs on a lamp that broke during shipping. I had to wait until after I had paid to send the receipt, which wasn't great. I will say that their estimates are typically in the range they initially provide, with the exception of one repair that ended up costing more than expected.
