Every step was easy and painless. From the Initial consultation to the installation, everything went perfectly smooth. We dealt with two other gentleman, their names escape me but they were both great as well. After picking what we wanted, it took less than two weeks for everything to happen, which is fantastic! The install was fast, just under an hour as well. We used to have another company and sometimes it nearly took a month. Not with Mohawk. Also just got a nice thank you letter in the mail today, wow you don't see that often. Very gracious. Worth every penny Cheers Ray!

He took the time to walk us through different options and helped us find something that fit both our style and budget. The measurement was precise and the installation went smoothly without any issues. The curtains look amazing -- they completely elevated the space and feel truly custom. What stood out the most was the value. For the level of quality, service, and overall experience, it felt very worth it compared to other quotes we considered. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for custom window treatments.

John is very responsive, knows his product, and was able to guide us to the best options for our needs and budget. Fast forward to 2021, we have completely renovated the house, and are in need of all new window treatments. We are working with an interior designer who has their own preferred blinds vendor - but after receiving their seemingly high quote, we reached out to John at Boston Blinds to see if he could do better. He had quote to me in less than 24 hours, and it was $1200 cheaper. The designer and their vendor have since reduced their price to match, and we will go with them in the interest of not making too many waves (as we have a few more months of working together on other interior design elements). That said, we are are very pleased with John's responsiveness and are confident in recommending Boston Blinds.

Ellen had many samples with her and she was patient while we walked through the different options in our bedroom and living room. We will be using Ellen in the future for a few more rooms.

We weren't sure what we needed or what was possible and had lots of questions. She was very thorough, honest and realistic about costs and sharing what would work with our budget. She made recommendations based on what was important to us and realistic for our home/windows (never pushing us into more expensive solutions or overselling) -- and was so helpful weighing the pros/cons of treatment options for each window. She did a consultation and provided an estimate same-day. When we agreed to proceed, she came back and took additional measurements and confirmed how the hardware/treatments would be installed in each window. We felt so supported in the consultation and sales process. Installation: The installer arrived early and communicated this in advance via phone (he even called us when he had a cancellation to see if we wanted to schedule installation on an earlier day) and was generally just incredible. We've been working with a lot of contractors recently and the installer was BEYOND professional and efficient. He finished the installation early and was an absolute pleasure to have in our home (thorough and detail oriented). We are thrilled and would highly recommend Ellen and her team.

The design is a bit complicated as we like to keep the shades open at the top to see the sky in the morning. The Barrows team was fantastic in reviewing all the style and price options. This time they badly mis-measured the windows in a bedroom. Because of that mistake, the window treatments were unusable and had to be re-done. For a few months, Barrows gave me an expected date of arrival, but the date kept being pushed out. Eventually, Barrows stopped up-dating me and I heard nothing. I began calling to try to get information. I thought I had been forgotten and my order lost. Every time I called, I got a different person. In all, I was passed around to five different people as I tried to get information. It took five months to get the window treatments and when I did get them, they were not the original fabric because that was no longer available. (Barrows did not notify me this was going to be the case.) In the past, the installers have been excellent. This time, the men who came to install, did not know what they were doing and I had to argue with them to place the window treatments so that the most light could be blocked. Barrows eventually offered me a small amount of money as compensation. Imagine my feelings when the window treatments I waited so long for finally arrived and were installed, to get a coupon from Barrows for $500 to be used upon initial consultation. That was like adding insult to injury. The delay in my receiving my order was not Barrows' fault. That was a supply chain problem that began to develop just at the time of the order. The original mis-measurement WAS Barrows' fault. Had the original measurement been done accurately, I would not have encountered the supply chain problem. I don't think Barrows is the company it once was and I would not use them again.
