I've also coveted many of the reconstructed vintage dresses at the shop. The store also carries really funky furniture, textiles and home decor. Its not a thrift shop, so don't expect to find junk items for 10 cents. This place is like a mini Anthropologie...everything there has a certain "je-ne-sais-quoi" and I find it really inspiring to browse and shop there.

However, a month ago two of the wooden cross pieces of the frame of the sectional snapped. We have bought couches from the stores listed above and never over 20 years of ownership have we had wooden frames break. Don't assume you are getting better quality here. Buy at your own risk!

Within a day of our visit and order, we were emailed a CAD drawing of the asymmetrical L-shaped bookshelf for approval (it was exactly as discussed and imagined, but so great to be able to see it to confirm). It was delivered on time (well, maybe it took 7 weeks instead of the estimated 6?), assembled in place as promised, and was wonderful quality. Would absolutely go there again. Not cheap, but great quality furniture.

I currently live in New York City, but I knew I wanted to go with a New England based business since Maine is home for me. I know there are a lot of New England based furniture shops to choose from, but Bostonwood seemed to offer the best value. The sales and delivery staff were all helpful, professional, and friendly. They even finished and delivered my order a little sooner than quoted. The desk is particularly beautiful and feels sturdy and well-built. The unfinished bookcase is just what I was expecting, and is a huge step up from the discount ones I used to buy back in grad school. I'll certainly return to Bostonwood in the future to replace the rest of my silly grad-school-budget particle board furniture!!

This is the house we are going to be in for the next 20+ years. So getting a quality sofa is really important to us. We were impressed by Donna the sales person in their Acton store. She really made the sale happen. Her comments on commitment to quality were what sold us. Of course this was a purchase in November and we really wanted the sofa before Christmas because we had relatives coming. It would have also made our holiday. We were within their standard delivery times, but being the holidays they rushed the order. Mental note, never have a furniture company rush your order. They need to take the time to get the order right. Of course with the rush we had some issues with the order. The cushions were the wrong cushion types. We got the ones with the lifetime warranty. They sent us the down cushions. On top of that one of the cushions was not stitched properly along the zipper and the fabric was fraying. Of course we complained. For the amount of money we were paying, we expected to not have these mistakes. After some back and forth discussions Circle Furniture agreed to completely replace the sofa. Their condition was that they wanted the time to ensure that the order was correct. After 6 additional weeks+ we have our new sofa. Wow! Do we love it. It is our new favorite piece of furniture. Thank you Circle Furniture! The standing by your customer service is exactly what makes you our favorite. We will be back and buy more furniture from you.

This was how I learned about the store and I fell in love with the furniture. Over the years I have bought most of the furniture that is in my home from BoConcept. It's beautiful furniture, modern, but at the same time inviting, comfortable and pretty. I think the last time I bought some thing at the store was about three years ago, and my furniture has always worn very well. I had a problem with one of the furniture pieces that I had purchased three years ago and I called the store to let them know. I think my experience with customer service is that it's not usually good when I called places, so I felt a little bit nervous calling. I can't even tell you how helpful Louis was, and how much better I felt after speaking with him. They are repairing the flaw to my furniture piece, and I could not be more impressed with the incredible customer service that I got. In an age of lacking Customer Service, BoConcept was the opposite. They were helpful, understanding and kind. I would highly recommend this company as well as the store. You will not be disappointed.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Lies, non-existent customer service, missed delivery dates, zero communication, and…read moreconstant excuses. I waited months for a furniture purchase while delivery dates were missed multiple times, with delays disclosed only after I repeatedly chased the store for updates. There was zero proactive communication throughout the process. I've had the great misfortune and displeasure of having to deal with Anthony Goode, one of the proprietors. He needs to get a serious lesson in customer service and hospitality or get out of the retail business. After the second missed delivery, he was unapologetic, deflected responsibility, and refused to provide a guaranteed delivery date. When asked to put everything in writing--including delivery commitments or compensation--he insisted on phone calls only, an apparent attempt to avoid a written record. After extensive back-and-forth and continued refusal to provide basic accountability or a firm delivery date, I was forced to cancel the order. Despite this, the business has refused to issue a refund of my 50% deposit. This is an unscrupulous and deceptive business operation that avoids transparency and accountability at every turn. Save yourself the time, stress, and money--do not shop here. Buyer beware!!!
