We've been coming here for over 20 years and it's slowly but surely turned into a joke of a store…read more First of all, there's this woman they hired that is constantly singing, loudly, and it's painful to listen to. Why would you allow one of your employees to do this? It's absurd and beyond annoying, to say nothing of the fact that she can't sing. Secondly, there are two employee vehicles, a Mini Cooper and Audi SQ5 that park in the two spots closest to the doors. God forbid you leave these spots for paying customers who may want to load their vehicles with things they bought from you. It's arrogant and like the singing, shows a distain for your customers. Hours of operation? 11-5 on Saturday. Closed Sunday. Closed Monday. Tuesday - Friday NOON to 5pm. That's a farce. Their prices are way beyond obscene. They seem to think everything is a precious antique and it's no wonder they've got stuff in their languishing for months unsold.

I do not know you, I'm not involved in any Facebook disputes, and I do not live in your town. My review was based solely on my visit to your store: the extreme disorganization and crowding, the pricing, and being closely watched while shopping. Instead of addressing these concerns, you've repeatedly dismissed my experience and blamed it on unrelated comments about a school district I have no connection to. You also edited your original response after the fact, so I will be attaching the original for transparency. I originally left a two-star review because the experience was negative but not terrible. However, your repeated attempts to invalidate my experience since then are unprofessional and disappointing.

All I said was that the staff was cold and unfriendly to us and made us feel unwelcome in her store. Well, Renee, thanks for proving my point! Really wondering how we could have come across as "rude and obnoxious" when we spent all of 10 minutes in the store, were almost totally ignored by the staff, and these messages were sent months after my review. This woman couldn't pick me out of a lineup. As a full time antiques dealer, I'm totally horrified to have another business owner attack me, a perfect stranger, in this immature way. If any customer of mine has any problem whatsoever, I always apologize and try to make the situation right. I would rather eat a dog turd than treat someone this way.

Knotty Pine is another (other than one of the owners with this GORGEOUSLY STUNNING FLOW OF PLATINUM HAIR has one of the most acrid personalities I've come across in a long time. While Natalie's is a bit smaller space, it doesn't lack for treasure troves of generous piles of vintage and fun jewelry and a stunning case showcasing unique local native indigenous woman's crafts - hair pins, necklaces, etc. all made locally and blessed with what we call "Wampanoag" (but that isn't their true tribal name) spirit. Come say HI to Natalie, and enjoy! Bring kids - vintage toys for them to choose from (just please keep an eye on them, the place is full of delicate glass and moving around is a bit tight). I'm so glad I found this place! I should have started this post as an epic essay: "it was a cold and peltering afternoon. Entrance in the front if you're taking a stroll and go past the brewery on the rail trail or in the back- parking, next to the auto shop across from the gas station, at the light). "OH the challenges of the brave scavenger hunter!" (Ok, I agree, leave the prose to others. I shall stick to my normal hobbies of eating, cooking and eating. Wash-rinse-repeat...)
