On my last full day in the Twin Cities, I crammed a lot in. I was in the Maple Grove area and wanted to visit a Target before I left. I found this one. Perfect! It was doing good business on a Tuesday afternoon. I had no problem finding a parking spot. I backed into an available one and walked into the store. Ulta Beauty is now a part of many Target stores. I like the setup. Kohl's has Sephora. Target has countered with Ulta Beauty. Cool! I looked at jewellery and hair accessories. I liked the earrings and hairbands. They looked modern and affordable. I also ventured into the handbag section. You can find everything from crossbody to puffy purses. Oreo Coca-Cola cookies were all the rage. I found them and decided to get a package. I had already consumed the drink version of this collaboration and was curious about the cookie format. While at the checkout, I saw Ice Breakers sparkling candies. I got the pineapple mango seltzer. The woman at the checkout was great. She placed both items in a bag. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and I was done. I thanked her and left the store. I then drove over to the Xcel Energy Center for the Wild game while enjoying my purchases. I liked the Oreo Coca-Cola cookies. They tasted like Coke at first. They then tasted like vanilla. I didn't mind it either way. There was a brief crunch popping experience, likely to simulate the fizziness of the drink itself. It was different. The cookie part tastes like an Oreo. The only difference is that one side of the cookie is red and has Coke branding. I liked the ice Breakers sparkling candies. They do fizz a bit, similar to the Oreos. The pineapple mango flavours were delightful. I brought both items back home with me. The Oreos are long gone. I continue to enjoy the Ice Breakers. This store has a snack bar. It also has a Starbucks cafe. I didn't need to get anything from them, but it's good to know that they are there. I liked visiting this store. I hate coming here, for a supposedly nicer city like the one I live in (Maple Grove) our Target is abysmal and often is out of what I need and slowly restocked. The staff isn't very helpful and people make excuses because MN is the mother ship. I have started weaning my family off this place and I haven't appreciate the pandering to cultural issues when I simply want groceries and meds and want to be left alone. When I do come now it's for the pharmacy which I am disappointed is in Target. Another day where they don't have what I needed. read more

Staff was rude when I asked them a question when I just went, their produce department was very empty and not stocked and when I went to ask a employee who was stocking about a item, he looked and sounded pissed off and said we don't have that right now and went back to what he was doing. Incorrect prices all over the place and with some of the fruit that was out, it was moldy and flies were swarming around it. Definitely not taken of anymore, and no one seems to care here. This was the worst experience at a target I've ever had. Everything felt enclosed. Tight. I'm welcoming. There was some obnoxious band playing outside so loud you couldn't hold the conversation. The things I was looking for weren't there or were impossible to find. I was looking for fingertip Band-Aids. They had none. It doesn't appear they've ever had any. There were several times I had absolutely no idea where I was. No idea how to get out. I will not be back. Lastly I was looking for some cute bathroom decorations and there were none. Everything that was there is great for a minimalist lifestyle but not for mine. read more

The Maple Grove remodel ruined the Target run for me. They have half the grocery/produce brands they used to stock, the aisles are smaller, and the layout makes no sense....(beauty products next to produce?!). Not to mention the last two months I've gone, there are at least 3 aisles with abandoned stock carts just standing in the way. It seems they used to have more shelf space, so they always had iceberg lettuce and fresh broccoli available. I feel very disgruntled shopping there now and have gone back to Cub foods for most of my grocery shopping. It's worth paying a bit more to not shop read more

I can't believe I haven't written a review of this Target yet! This is the BEST target in MN! The ambiance, cleanliness and selection are all pristine! I love the layout and style of this specific location. I come here 2-3 times a week ( yes I'm one of those annoying 'I'm addicted to Target' people) and they never fail me! They've got groceries, toys, books and most importantly a massive clothing section for everyone! Also to mention, the checkout lines are usually super fast, and plump full of cashiers, guest services is speedy and knowledgeable, and if you feel like being antisocial, there's like 20 self checkouts! I've also found that this Target has different and more things than other Targets (I've heard it's a test store), which makes it even more fun to shop and see all the cool things you could buy with your magical redcard. Seriously though, if you're looking for a place to go with your kids for a few hours in the middle of winter, go to target and wander around...it's fun for everyone. read more

Skip this location or be prepared to not be helped at all. At 4 pm on a Thursday afternoon 2/15 registers were open so each line was 4-5 people deep. It seemed like more people were on break than working. After waiting forever to get to the check out the young lady ignored my reusable target bag and put my loaf of bread, tomatoes and a half gallon of milk in the same plastic bag so the tomatoes burst and the bread was smashed. I went to my car and had to re bag the $130 of groceries I just spent there in the canvas Target bags she handed back to me empty. Got 1 email follow- up to a review I made and nothing else. I absolutely love this Target, and how big it is! They are currently remodeling/adding more additions, so its a little disorganized but I think that's totally fine. I've never had a bad experience at this Target. Every time I shop here, I'm in and out. The toy isles are ridiculous and always neat. The electronics section is light years beyond Walmart. The grocery section of the store have plenty of options. They also recently added an fast food Italian restaurant in the front which is great. Most people may complain about the higher prices as opposed to Walmart but the shopping experience here is MUCH better. Again, I've never had problems here no matter what time of day I'm shopping. If you want a Target that is clean, quick lines, and actually organized then come here. read more

We wanted to do some grocery shopping without having to drive to Rogers, and not impressed with the Walton Family Super Centers, so we decided to give Target a shot... Look elsewhere for groceries. Produce was expensive, few non-organic options, and it wasn't impressive looking, lots of wilted veggies. Their Butcher shop left a lot to be desired, and offered only pricey meat. When someone is looking for Stew Meat, they typically don't want it from a cut that typically cost $6/pound. Aside from that their food selection the store was nice. Clean and well kept. We won't be grocery shopping at Target any longer. read more

First, I would like to say that I think the new Super Target in Maple Grove is a wonderful store. I always love shopping there. However, I am very disappointed that they have chosen to sell a product that I think is highly inappropriate. After contacting them about it, I received absolutely no satisfaction. They have chosen to sell Soap & Glory Cosmetics (Based in the U.K.) that have gimmicky names associated with each of their products. One of the gimmicky names is for the LIP GLOSS called SEXY MOTHER PUCKER. It was featured on an endcap display. So our daughters & granddaughters can buy it. The name of the product doesn't even describe the lip gloss. It's just shock value for those of us interested in what our minors think. I would expect to find this type of product at a store like Spencers or some other adult humor store. But just not Target. Target will never be able to convince me that selling Sexy Mother Pucker is appropriate. When I see that it has disappeared from their website, then I will resume shopping at Target. Otherwise, sadly, I won't be back. Apparently, they won't even miss me even though I spent over $200 at my last visit. read more

My sister and I visited this place on May 5th 2019. I had some stuff to returned and did so before shopping. I returned a cream and foundation and proceeded to go to the cosmetics section, where my sister was already at, as that was what we only intended to check out. I was checking the make up and shopping casually when suddenly a target employee comes up to me. I was looking at some Milani lipstick and turned around when she asked if I needed help, she appears quite shock to see me but proceeded to kindly tell me that there were tested samples that I could use if I ever needed it and to ask her. I was confused by her reaction but quickly thanked her and went on my way around to other aisles of the same department. Minutes later, while I'm looking at the cleansers and stuff, she comes back while putting products away and asks me a question, asking me about the item that I returned earlier. I was quite taken aback at this because I was wondering how did she know about an item I had just returned, but I continued to tell her the product, which was a Missha Snail Cream, and had a small talk about the product but in my mind I started to understand that they were keeping watch on us, maybe the guest services felt I was a suspicious person or something but I don't know what I did to give off that vibe. Mind you, I was wearing pretty nicely that day because we attended a birthday party nearby. The next thing I know, a security guard is there. I knew the security guard was eyeing my sister and I. I honestly don't know what the whole reason was, whether it was because we were the only Asians there and could be suspicious or something my sister and I had done but I don't remember doing anything to provoke or initiate that we could be shop lifters. At this point my sister and I are feeling quite uncomfortable and mad at this point and headed to the self checkout. And as I would've guessed, the security guard followed us there. We quickly pay our two items and stormed out the store. This will be the first and last time I ever visit this shop. I'm an avid target shopper and I've never faced or been discriminated as a shoplifter or have been one in my life. The employees made the whole trip bad and the fact that we were innocent in this made us furious. I still want to know why they thought we were there to shoplift that day, maybe it had been a slow day or something but never have I been so uncomfortable in a Target. Truly disappointing. SO incredibly unhappy with Target after the remodel. Their gluten-free options are much more limited, they NEVER have produce stocked, and their customer service is quite poor. Their cookware is limited as well. Clothes and other products are strewn throughout the store with no order, I spend so much time looking for things-- which I often do not find because they no longer carry them or are out of stock. Takes forever to check out and the other day my mom checked out and the cashier accidentally deleted the entirety of a very LARGE purchase at the very end and had to re-ring everything up which took about 15 more minutes. Not impressed with the Maple Grove Target store. They are redoing their store, in my opinion, to make it worse. They did away with the 'fast food" and put in an Italian restaurant. That didn't last. Not they putting in a liquor store. There is a Haskell's next door. Haskell's buys alot more liquor than Target and will always be undercutting Target's prices. I want to like Target, but the WalMart store in Maple Grove is much better and many more choices in their grocery department. read more

This store is often out of things. The people there are nice, this is not a complaint about the people. However, Target Cartwheel is frustrating and time consuming and wants all my social media passwords and accounts connected. I try to shop without using cartwheel but once in a while it seems worth it. Target should pay customers for going through the store scanning everything and getting annoying emails all the time. I think they need to be like other stores and have 3 simple coupons and people can pick one. I never want to go to this store again. read more

I don't know why, in 2017, that 75% of Target's movie collection is DVD. It baffles my mind that they continue to push a dead format, when Blu-rays include the DVD and the Digital HD in the box at no additional/marginal cost. Almost all the Blu-rays they have are new releases, besides one small section of under $5 and under $10. Yet every single checkout isle display, endcap display, and at least two whole isles are dedicated to DVD's. SMH. Therefore my Blu-ray shopping experience was not happy because I didn't have much to choose from. I initially came in for a $5 iPhone charging cable, which they were all out of, and instead bought $23 worth of two cables, which come with a lifetime warranty. I was impressed with the warranty but will have to do a follow up if they don't honor it because of 'it's just wear and tear' bs that I expect. read more

Stopped there to return one item from my wedding registry and the lady in customer service put the money back in a merchandise return gift card which you can't use online. Such a bad customer service. Asked for a manager to put it on a normal gift card but she told me she couldn't do it because that's the only option the computer gave them. The strange thing is that I returned two items one was return on a normal gift card and one wasn't. Both items came from the same registry but i'm pretty sure the lady who did the return, returned one as an item without receipt and that's why it return the money on a merchandise credit card. read more
