This particular superstore Target was very nice. Had no issues with anyone or individuals. Service is good like most places are. Store layout is easy to navigate through. Target is one of my go to stores for baby items deals. Everything is pricey but if you want good quality items, this is the place to go. It's a bit far away from home, but it's definitely worth the trip. The only problem I had coming to this store was the intersection before getting off onto I694. I have no idea why it's so close and turning left onto Red Fox Rd made the road confusing. Maybe it's just me but it be nice if they made the lines more clearer. read more

I popped in shortly after 7a open just to grab some bags of the Tyson BOGO50% chicken. I rang them up @ self checkout, it asked if I wanted to enter my phone number or skip? So I tapped skip and as I grabbed my bags, mentally did the math I turned to the employee to say: hey, this didn't give me the sale price. She asked: did you enter your phone number? Nooooo. She came and took my receipt...as I asked: what do I need to do now? She politely and gratefully attempted to process the adjustment on the next register as I took a seat on the bagging shelf. It gave her quite the ordeal and thankfully nobody else was checking out or needed her assistance. I forgot to check her name tag, I apologize. But I am so grateful for the above and beyond service this morning!! As I thanked her and said I hoped the rest of her day went smoothly after this ordeal. She politely replied: oh this is nothing! Thank you Target employee for not letting me know but politely letting me know my error and so efficiently correcting it for me so I didn't have to walk down to customer service at the other end of the store! read more

Seriously, every time I come here there aren't enough checkout lanes open. Four out of sixteen does not cut it, even during slower times. Then I go across the street to Trader Joe's--a fraction of the size and customer volume--and there are six lanes open! Do you guys need a hiring drive? read more

This is such a convenient target given that it's surrounded by so many restaurants. This place is always picked up and can always find what I need when it comes to school projects, clothing, food or decor leaves for our home. It has an expansive parking lot so that will never be an issue. read more

Spacious parking lot. Biggest produce/bakery section I've ever seen in a Target. The entire store is spacious, I couldn't see it being a traffic jam even on its high traffic days. Convient due to being a block away from the highway. Looks like this location is staffed well. The community this Target is located in is bubbling and will be a premier area in the near future. This is my hometown Target. I wish I lived closer to this location. It's like visiting an old friend or an old aunt. I always leave with a bag of something. This location is always pristine, well stocked, plenty of open lanes and is just completely familiar to me. They have a clinic at this location. Not that I would drive all the way to use it, but if I needed to and was nearby, I might stop in. I really like the way the grocery section is laid out at this location. I had to swing by for some breakfast items for work. I didn't know they started carrying Einstein bagels and fresh ones at that. They also had some good looking cupcakes for a reasonable price that I wil have to swing back and get for another work event. Always fresh bakery items. read more

Well staffed and stocked Target, but be prepared for the slowest checkout you've ever experienced. While the staff in the store is very helpful, the checkout lines are typically longer than other Target stores even during less busy hours due to EXTREMELY slow check-out staff. I can understand a balance of being social with your customers, but not to the point of standing still and talking instead of scanning items while others wait in line. This is a regular occurrence. For scale, I am the second person in line but had time to download Yelp to a new phone, log-in, and then post this review......still waiting. read more

I just love Target. It doesn't matter where I am, whenever I walk into a Target a weight is lifted. Seriously, I could just walk around the store and I would be content. This Target is great, with plenty of groceries. I also enjoy the cartwheel app as I can usually get some great deals. You won't have a problem finding parking here and I haven't had to wait long in the check-out line, so I think they do a great job of handling the many people that come to this location. read more

Weekly sale items are ALWAYS out of stock. Never enough cashier lanes open. Cashiers are slow and BAD at bagging. Floor employees don't seem to know how to help you when you need it. Service Desk employees are rude. Store is clean and nice environment to be in. read more

It's a sad day when I'd rather shop at Walmart over Target, but dammit, it's come to this. The "upgrade" of this store and the Lino Lakes location just seem like a money grab. There are more isles crammed into the store, which obviously makes them narrower. And when you add more isles, guess what? Everything is now in different locations, causing me to have to relearn the layout. I also see that my grocery options have dwindled and the prices have gone up. The "world foods" section is a joke (SpaghettiOs? Really?). That's a shame, because the grocery option was my main reason for even shopping here, and now it's coming off the rotation. I was shopping for ingredients for smothered pork chops with my brother. I was going over my list with him and I didn't know where the buttermilk was. Out of nowhere (I think he was hiding behind a rack of clearance bread) a Target employee casually walks up, hands me a bottle of buttermilk and says, "I believe this is what you're looking for." I was so impressed with his level of customer service and eavesdropping skills, which was extremely beneficial to me as a customer. His name is Junior and he is my favorite Target employee. Ever. Give the guy employee of the month, a bonus, a raise....something. Gotta pay credit where credit is due. Thank you Junior!!! You are super awesome at hearing & collecting items for customers. I have been shopping at target for years and I have always loved the friendliness of their employees. The reason I am writing this and another review of the Roseville store is to show a stark contrast in guest service. Now I love most of the departments and team members in the electronics department, sales door, and the pharmacy area. They are great people and I've seen many of them throughout my visits and always look forward to their friendly and helpful service. (I would be glad to mention names too as they really are assets to your store and the only reason I shop at this target still). Now for why I am writing this. I have consistently received poor service from the Deli. It has been rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. If it was one time I would understand and write it off as a bad day. This has been several times with the same employee. Name starts with a J though I don't remember the full name. He is tall and unfriendly and chats more to his colleagues than he actually cares about customer service. I don't write reviews often, I tend to give people the benefit of doubt that they may just be having a bad day. Instance one: after waiting for three minutes I was about to ask a Starbucks employee if there was someone working at the deli. That where I found him laughing and chatting away. I asked if I could get some service at the deli and he rolled his eyes and begrudgingly helped me. No thank you as he just gave me my meat and walked back towards Starbucks. Instance two: gave him the benefit of the doubt and said again after waiting for two minutes as he walked past me twice behind the counter. No good morning can I help you or nothing. Said I was trunk to find butternut squash and would like some meat he pointed in a direction quickly and started on the meat. Wrong area in the direction he pointed and luckily was able to find a very pleasant girl who walked me to the product. I thanked her and said the deli guy is not very friendly or helpful, she apologized and said that he talks a lot and was not the first time. Came back meat was sliced and left sitting on the counter. Shook my head and left for work. Instance 3: here is the big contrast I went to Roseville and at the deli counter I was greeted within the first 15 seconds I was pleasantly greeted, giving great service with recommendations for a cheese pairing (awesome suggestion), and when I said I was unfamiliar with their produce area she steeped out and showed me where several items were and asked if I needed anything else. I said no and she thanked me for shopping at target. I felt valued, appreciated, and loved my experience so much I spoke with a manager and told them how wonderful my experience was. Instance 4: trued shoreview deli again and this time got an older woman (thank heavens) she was polite and gave me a great experience. I did unfortunately see the other guy again who looked at me and rolled his eyes before going to the chicken area. Shoreview how do you let employees treat guests like this? Thankfully the rest of your store is great but this person has made me not want to shop at your store. Unlike the rest of your store I feel like I'm a burden to this employee just for wanting friendly service. read more

I'm conflicted - do I want to post about this Target store and reveal its awesomeness or keep it to myself? I will reveal its awesomeness because it's my go-to Target even though I have two others within the same 10 minute proximity of my house., This Target is a cut above the rest. The store is busy, but it's never so busy that I feel like I need to wage combat in the aisles to get to the products. Combat-mode is why I loathe both the Blaine and Roseville location. This Target has an excellent selection of product - both grocery and household wise - and I LOVE that it is across the street from Trader Joe's! I can finish all my shopping in the same complex and that is absolutely fantastic. Check-out is always pretty speedy and the workers are helpful. read more

The Shoreview Target is one of the best around! It's clean, has the new remodeling done, definitely my go to store. It does get super busy, but that's no different from any other Target. The employees are always pleasant and I haven't had a negative run in once. All in all just a great location!! read more

I like the remodel of the store, it looks great. However, I dislike how you are "punished" for not using self checkout. There are rarely enough lanes open when you have a full cart (and so does everyone else) or don't want to use self checkout. The store used to be very good at calling up cashiers to help when the lanes started backing up. It doesn't seem like a priority anymore. read more

This Target is a delightful one. For being in a tough neighborhood, they seem do a good job at keeping everything calm and safe. There are not many other businesses around the area that do so well at keeping things safe. The employees are helpful at whatever I may need help on. Everything is easy to find. This is by far the best target store! They haVe great service and the fresh produce is a plus. Easy access to and from hwy 694 and lots of great amenities surrounding the store so if a loved one is doing some shopping you can hit the trader joes , get a massage or even grab a burger at 5guys. This is a fabulous Target. I'm a big fan of the brand and feel this location is one of the best. They are well staffed (at checkout, which isn't always the case at large stores), very clean and helpful. It's nice to be able to get deals with the cartwheel app as well. This Target used to be a good store and one we frequented often. Since they decided to remodel it, I am very disappointed. I know it's not finished yet, but the areas that are finished are not laid out well and there are major congestion areas built right into it. Their prices on many of the items we regularly bought have gone up 10-20%. To help pay for the remodeling? Their new check-out lanes are much smaller (the lane number signs were drastically reduced in size as well - not sure why). Their brand selection has been reduced. They no longer carry items we bought there every week. They carry a lot of Market Pantry, Archer Farms, and Up&Up. Some of which are OK, but not nearly as good as name brands (also are more expensive in some cases than the name brands). The produce section is laid out very strangely and for a while we have been buying produce in other stores because the quality of Target's produce has gone down. I'm really usually a very positive person, and willing to give new things a try, but I think Target has made some big mistakes with their new store. read more

We are so disappointed in the customer service. I tried the order online, pick up in store feature in October. It was about 15 minutes before anyone helped me at the Order Pick Up counter. Despite this, I gave it another try today. My husband went to the pick up parking space. After 15 minutes, no one came out to his car. He went into the store, with kids in tow, to pick up the items. He mentioned that the items were supposed to be delivered to the car, the employee disagreed, then looked closer and realized that they were to be delivered. My husband received a gift card as compensation for his troubles. When he came home, we realized that the order was missing two of the five pieces. He tried calling the store three times and selected Guest Services; no one answered. He then called a 1-800 number, was connected to a call center to received reimbursement for the missing items. The representative was helpful, but informed him that he was to wait 24 hours to make a claim. We will have to call again tomorrow. This experience was truly not convenient. read more

This is for Target.com God help you if you place an order and you want to make a change. If you want to change your order after you place it, does not matter if you want to change the quantity, cancel it, have it shipped to the store etc Once you place an order you can not change or do anything to it, even if there is 6 month delay in shipping. Now I have to have that amount deducted from my account, wait on it to get here & drive back to the store and return it. Since when is this convenient at all??! So, even if your item has not shipped you can't make any changes & neither can ANY employee. Make sure you really want whatever your item is & be prepared to wait forever for it read more

I work close to this Target location. On my lunch break, from time to time, I do some shopping. In early December I had a few office type things to get so I decided to take care of this and just have my lunch at the cafe inside. After finding the items I needed, which were about 5-7 items in all I proceeded to a check outline with one person in front of me. I should note that the store was NOT busy. For the holiday season it was surprisingly dead. The time of day was approximately 1130am. The lady in front of me had a few grocery items. The cashier was incredibly slow. She was being friendly and having a conversation with the customer but due to her inability to multitask her conversation was interfering with the check out process. She kept going on and on about whatever it was she was talking about and rather than scan items at the same time, she continued on her conversation as if she was at lunch with a friend. There were only 2 or 3 other open cashiers and another employee who, for whatever dang reason, was standing around sort of guiding customers to lanes. To me that was just ridiculous. Open a register and start helping rather than just standing around pointing customers in the right direction. I mean HELLO, we can see the big light above the cashier and no if they are open or not! Anyway, I was starting to get frustrated so I pulled out my Iphone and started the timer. This was after a good 3 minutes of standing there while she gabbed and did not scan a single item. Long story short, it took 14 minutes for her to be done with the customer in front of me! When she got to me I said a simple hello but I was NOT going to engage her in conversation and waste even more of my time. My lunch break is 30 minutes. I spent 10 minutes getting my items, 14 minutes waiting for her to check out the lady in front of me. Needless to say I was late returning from lunch. I will NEVER be back to shop at this location. I am a total Target addict too so it's very hard for me to stay away. Out of sheer principle I refuse to step foot in that store. My time was wasted, my stomach was empty since I didn't get to eat, I had to work late to make up for the extended lunch, and sit in bumper to bumper traffic since I left work at prime traffic time. All because one cashier can't chat and work at the same time and another employee's only job is to stand around and play Target traffic controller rather than actually assist customers with check out. read more
