This is my favorite store! I am here 2-3 times a week. They have ample parking (and nice wide rows) and plenty of staff for checkout. The store is clean and well stocked. I've been having trouble on and off with this target yet I still decide to come back to this because it is the closest to me. I've used SHIPT through target and every single time I used it they literally would mess it up almost every single time. On top of that I started using drive up and it's been a couple times every single time I used it the person picking my items decides to pick what they want to pick. Meaning they decided just to get something else not the same brand not the same price, but on the order itself it never shows that they picked something else. Also I had missing things and yet again it shows everything's there but it's not. I know for a fact it's the target employees who's picking them out that they seem to not give a s*** and pick whatever basically. Thats the vibe I get with the experiences I've had. When I shop online and pay for things it's the things I chose that I want not the things the target employee decides for me. This is drive up not shipt don't get me wrong shipt is all wrong as well. It asks you on the app if you want a substitution or if you want the shipt person to contact and ask you and they never would text or call me to let me know anything. I know everyone is going through things right now and don't want to work but have to for income. Everyone is stressed out I get it. BUT that doesn't mean I'm going to accept bad service because those employees don't seem to care. I'm spending my time and money that I feel I deserve to get what I asked for. It's simple. read more

Normally this is a decent enough store to shop in. However, yesterday, I bought numerous items which included two dresses. I had the car off for saved to my phone that was supposed to have all dresses 20% off. Long story short they hadn't charged me properly for one of the dresses so before I even left the parking lot I went back into the store to correct this and the young man named Nicholas at the returns center was very very rude and tried to explain that if I returned it I would not get the discount which absolutely made no sense. So I asked to see a manager. He first told me no, I guess because he didn't want to have any negative reports made on him. After he saw that I wasn't going away without speaking to one, he called her over. I tried to explain what had just occurred and I don't think she had a clue what I was talking about. However, she did give me a full return on the dress and then charged me the sale price which was exactly what I wanted and if I had left it as Nicholas wanted me to I would've been paying about seven dollars more. It is still annoying me today so I think I'm going to actually call there and speak to a higher up manager just so that I can make sure that they are understanding how customers are being treated. read more

This target doesn't deserve a star, I hate their return policies on items you order online. People make sure if you order something online you don't pick up at this store because if you decide you don't want it, they won't return it or exchange it until the next day. Even though you are there and they know that you bought it. Never again will I go to the Manteca target and then the security guard just watch you like your going to steal something . I hope the store manager and district manager change this policy because I will never ever buy anything online or at the Manteca target , Walmart and khols are way better. read more

So... This my favourite abusive relation other than my current one. So i wemt back because my headphones gave out on me. If they can't handle my hard Russian bass EDM then maybe they shouldn't be headphones. Anyway i went for a new purchase hoping for something that can handle the blyat. So i go to the electronics hoping to see my favourite purple haired target property. Turns out they got fired! I asked around turns out the higher ups at target are up to their own shady nepetism... Not a good way to run a business. This target is really good at not keeping their best employees. The management is never helpful because the current employees there were busy doing other jobs they're not suppose to. They got electronics boys in the grocery and grocery gals on the help desk! No one is doing the job their suppose to! I asked a manager for help and they just brushed me off saying someone will be back to help and no one was. One day I'll stop coming here. They're getting good at pushing loyal customers away. They never fixed the heroin toilets either. read more

If I could recommend any target, it wouldn't be this one. The store is a complete disaster, ranging from the store to its managers. Shopping there I've got to know a couple of the employees and how management treats their employees is completely horrific. I've been there to witness the managers who are suppose to be higher up mess around in the halls of the store. And I've gone up to employees and asked who they are and it was higher up managers of HR and Food Market. Another time I've gone into the store and wanted to look for the as seen on tv section the same hr manager that was messing in the aile from the time before was the closest so I asked her where I could find it and she was on her phone and wasn't paying attention to me so I walked away and asked the girl in the girls section and she point me to the location. I find that super rude and disrespectful. If I could find a way to contact cooperate I would because the store manager obviously doesn't know how to control or run her store. read more

Worst customer service me and my bf have ever recieved!!! I'm an avid shopper at target so yesterday literally had me walking away in tears. BEFOFE we went shopping with our (direct manufacturer) coupons from our gf that works at Clorox we asked a sales associate if we can use them at this location. She gave us a firm yes without checking with anyone else. We asked BEFORE shopping 1 we never use coupons ...just wanted to be sure 2 so checkout was smooth and nothing like this happened. So after an hour of loading a $130 cart at checkout the cashier had to have higher up "call" to see if we accept those. No... we did that when we walked in the store so you can imagine I'm already embarrassed after waiting for this dam call. She returns to tell us they don't accept manufacturer coupons. Me my bf are rather upset at this point and peeved after having to wait all this time people behinds us, busy ass Friday we covered our ass before shopping to make sure this didn't happen which we explained to the lady. I begged her to take them, they were direct from the manufacturing office from homegirl how more honest could they have been! I had a Clorox Company envelope to prove it they were fraudulent coppies. During this ordeal a fellow employee mentioned that's why they haven't been accepted bc people are making fakes. Which is why I feel ours were not accepted. I firmly believe this store rejected our coupons for judgement of fraudelency. I'm so disappointed in these ladies customer service. They offered me no alternative or solution... after coupons we still would have owed $100 so I don't know why they didn't try to complete our transaction. It was like 7 coupons... These ladies argued with me, embarassed me and i left with nothing. They just kept arguing so I had to walk away leaving all my whole basket of movies food and cleaning supplies. After this review I will seek target corporate offices. I'm very upset, usually Target offers an alternative and quick customer service which is why I choose them over Walmart. Not today. This target has good stuff most of the time with clothes and stalking up on their makeup section, but the only bad thing I have to say is their bathroom is absolutely terrible, I've lived here since 2000 and still til this day it smells like crap. I wish they would redo their bathrooms because I can't even use it when I go shopping there. read more

I'm actually writing this review in the store as we speak. We enter the store looking for a cart. NO carts available. We found a cart near customer service and someone told us that this cart can't be used. At no point in time this person offered to grab us a cart or call someone to get carts from outside. So we walk through the store and its a disaster. Shoes everywhere on the floor in the shoe department. Store looks a mess. This target is the trashiest of targets in the area, definitely the dirtiest. The store is always dirty and their bathrooms always smell like a sewer line busted plus finding a cart that rolls properly is like playing a serious game of hide and seek and the carts are always winning. Customer service is good cashiers are usually nice and try to make your experience pleasant but management is a joke and likes to make up their coupon policy as they go. This target leaves a lot to be desired. Their employees are constantly complaining (in front of customers) and seem like they hate being there. The final straw was when I went to purchase and extremely large furniture item from them and they couldn't find anyone willing to help us lift the thing onto our car. The manager actually argues with an employee in front of us as to whether or not it was in their job description. Ridiculous! Then when we showed some concern about whether we could fit it in our car or not they just dumped it on the side walk and left us out there. We asked if they could hold it for us while we get a bigger truck and they said they couldn't hold anything that was already purchased. Even though we had told them before we bought it that we may have to do just that! Then, after all of the arguing and fighting to get employees to help a friend of ours showed up with a bigger car (as we sat on the side walk to wait with our large purchase.) A single employee was sent out to help and yelled at us for not lifting the way he wanted up to (although he was trying to hold almost the entire thing by himself) and actually scratched our car in the process! No apologies, and didn't even acknowledge it. We have since reported it to corporate and refuse to ever shop at this target when there is a well kept, beautiful target just a few miles away in Lathrop. read more

Stay away from the pharmacy they are far from helpful. I handed the lady a paper from my doctor with my info the doc.s info, all the workers comp info, all in black and white. Then she she still had me fill out a paper with all the same info. Then after wait 20 min came back to the window for pickup, they to me its going to take 48 hours now for the workers comp people to approve it. I left a little lost, i decided to call the work comp Insurance on my own. It was approved on the spot, i was told by the work comp people the pharmacy should and could have called to do the same thing. I walked back in and told that to them. It turn out they just wanted me to want until the next day because they didnt have the full order. So long story short this pharmacy would rather leave you in pain then, picking up the phone. This is the most unprofessional and lazy place i have ever had the displeasure of encountering. Please if you get your Rx from other places. read more

I challenge you to walk into this store and not find the lanes backed up. Typically you can expect 2 cashiers and no sense of urgency to find additional cashiers. Purchased a on-line item. Selected "Pick up in store" as the shipping option. Went to the store and saw a sign that says Order Pick Up. Went to that sign and watched the girl doing "go backs" walk by me 10 times. Then after the cashier at customer service told her about me, she came over. She said can I help you? I told her I had an on-line pick up. She said "Just so you know the line starts over there." Then point to the long customer service line. I said "Well you have a sign that says pick up orders here, so that's why I came here. Terrible Service! read more

Manteca General manager shows employees poor customer service is okay. She needs to lead by example!! She would NOT honor a price match from Tracy store, she said on thanksgiving the policy changed for them not to match pricing-that just started 2 days ago. she said there are sign every where....I asked where? at every cashier - wow so I don't find out till I go to pay? yup she replies and no I won't change store policy even if it just started 2 days ago. Being the holiday season a lot of deals are popping up at every store even online retail stores. I saw a Nintendo 3DS XL advertised at Best Buy for $40 off but they recently closed the Best Buy in my town so I would have to travel 25 miles to get the deal. The deal was not in Best Buys weekly ad but it was on their website. The only proof of the sale was on my phone. I walked into my towns Target, found the item which regular price was $199.99 got to the register and asked if they price match an online ad. Cashier told me he would have to verify and they must have the item in stock, he looked at Best Buy website from his personal phone which seemed a little weird to me. After a few minutes everything checked out and I was able to get the deal price and not have to travel to another town. Plus they accepted a $10 coupon I had, so $50 total savings! Target made it really easy to walk in and accept the discounted price, no managers were called, there was no excess running around triple checking prices (happened before). So, I was looking for piping bags and I couldn't find them. So I then asked one of the employees if she could please help me look for one and her coworker and the other employee took me to an area and said, "Oh, we only have the prepackaged ones with icing already in them" so I said, "Oh okay, thank you" and as I walked away and went to the other aisle they thought I left and I heard the employee tell her coworker, "I don't get why he has to get piping bags, it's just a waste!" and the other employee said, "I know just use your own bags and cut a hole, that's what my mom does!" And they said it with attitude and then they started to laugh. However, all I know is one of the employees is named Zully and I don't know the other employees name but she had washed out blue hair. I just hate it when people work around customers and they know they don't work well around others like why work there at all? Especially since they had the nerve to talk mess about a customer. Like if it doesn't affect you keep your mouth shut please. I hate people like that the managers in this store really need to keep there employees on check and teach them how to treat a customer! They are kinda rude at this store. I ordered online and went in to pick it up. Right when you walk in is a little desk that says online order pick up here. I had previously picked up an order at the online order pickup counter so silly me I assumed that's where I would get this one. I stood there for a few minutes and the. The two associates were helping a line of customers which I saw so I knew I would have to wait. No biggie. But the one guy that finally acknowledged me shouted over "did you need something?" Im like what the heck. I said I needed to pick up and order and he shouted back that I wasn't in line that the line was over where he was at the customer service. I was pissed he yelled at me like a kid in front of a line of customers! So I said that was rude right back to him and got in line. As soon as I got in line they pulled everyone out of line in front of me and took them to the registers. Literally was in line for like 2 minutes. Then he sees I'm next and tells the other guy at the service desk that I have an online order and he would have to take me over to the online order pickup desk! What the hell kind of trip are they on. I was perfectly content to wait for the associates to be free to assist me at the pickup counter but they had to have a power trip and send me back to the line just to have me go directly back.
