I love Target, I really do. However, I don't like shopping at this location when they are stocking their shelves. They just throw boxes all in the aisles and even block aisles completely. It's so annoying and I have complained in the past but things haven't changed. It caused me to miss grabbing two things I needed. The employees are friendly when you approach them but otherwise are busy talking amongst themselves. Today one employee almost hit my cart with his shopping cart and another employee was coming up fast behind me making me feel the need to rush out of the way. Never once was I greeted, smiled at, or anyone apologetic as I pushed boxes out of the way in order to get down an aisle. The whole grocery and household aisles were like this. I went in around 10:30 on Saturday to exchange my Honest diapers for the next size up, unopened. I didn't have a receipt but I hadn't had a problem in the past because I always do an even exchange with diapers. The guy was on his phone when I walked up and reluctantly walked over to help me. He denied me because my ID was "maxed out." I wasn't asking for a gift card only an exchange. He was so rude about it. I think it's ridiculous to deny an Honest Brand exchange because so few places carry Honest. I am a regular at this target so I kindly accepted the rude response and finished my shopping. Absolutely ridiculous. Brea will be my new location for sure. read more

Last night I went online to find a patio storage box and found one advertised from Target and said if I put in a Promo Code of : "NEWYEAR19" that I would get a 20% off, only up to $20, even though the storage box was $140, so when I went to buy it, it didn't give me an option to use my gift cards from Target, plus no 20% was deducted, so I chose to go into Target to order it so I could use my gift cards and not one person there knew how to do it and when I asked for the manager, a young kid came and said she didn't know anything about it and said it must be from a third party so that's why they wouldn't take the gift cards!! What???? Why was "TARGET" listed on the computer page then??? This makes us think it's a Target item!!! And it even mentioned that it could be returned to Target !! Horrible experience here on Sunday. We purchased a BBQ I was told I could use the cart/dolly to get it to the truck. But when I told the girl I was going to push it out she told me I wasn't allowed to touch the cart/dolly. She said she would need to find someone if I wanted that? Yes please how else do I get a BBQ in an odd box out. Since she wasn't looking like she understood nor did she really respond. I then took the box off the dolly and started pushing it on the floor out the door. It is a two man pick up but doable but I was waiting for my husband. An employee came over and asked if I needed help I looked back and said you won't help I can't use your dolly and he literally pushed the dolly the dolly outside while I pushed the BBQ box ON THE FLOOR! Our niece was in search of a book. She said that Target had it so off we went. This Target store in La Habra was the closest one around. Was not crowded, which was nice. The Walmart store close by gets quite chaotic at times. She found the book she wanted among other things. Store was fine and well-stocked. Service was very slow, though. The Starbucks located inside this Target is the worst Starbuck's I've ever experienced. I came in yesterday at 7:00 p.m. and asked the associate (overweight Caucasian male, 5'3, Duck Dynasty style beard, glasses) if they had the Holiday blend ground coffee in stock and he blurts out "uh, they were discontinued this month and will be released on November 1st". I found it a bit odd they would discontinue a Holiday flavored ground coffee for one month. I then asked the associate "May i have a cup of water"? He blurts out "I cleaned out the water machine, so we have no water". Really? I didn't know cleaning a water dispenser stops all water flow? Listen, I get it. You're a lazy employee who doesn't want to assist others. After i departed Target, I went to the Von's right next to Target. To my surprise, Vons carried the Starbucks Holiday blend ground coffee! one of my favorite targets (the other one is the brea location) mainly because it's less than a mile away from my house lol. the employees are super nice...but honestly if you're in a rush here's a warning a lot of the cashiers talk to you...a lot lol it's super clean and very well organized. another thing every week there are sales! i.e. every wednesday: children's clothes on sale and men's clothes on sale and every tuesday: women's clothes on sale. call ahead and check ANOTHER NOTE! this target closes at 11 PM (unlike the other target's closing at 10) probably because the wal-mart on beach and imperial is open 24 hours. but honestly...target is WAY better than wal mart. it's cleaner and the lines are never long (wal mart lines are horrid) read more

Pros: Well-stocked Clean Cons: Horrible customer service As soon as I walked up to the dressing room you could see the attitude on the attendants face and hear it in her voice. I grabbed my number and all the dressing rooms were empty so I walked into the nearest one. The attendant stops me, "Not that one." I notice it's handicap, I walk into the next one, she stops me again! She tells me to go to the next one. It's Christmas Eve and I don't have time to play musical dressing rooms. I ignore her and close the door behind me. I hear her calling security on me! Seriously, I have $200 of last minute gifts in my cart, I'm trying on one top, and all the dressing rooms are empty and she has the nerve to call security on me for going into the "Family" stall. I come out and security is waiting for me. The girl looks at me, rolls her eyes, and tells the security to never mind. Merry Christmas to you too! I'll be going to Whitwood from now on. read more

I LOVE Target! This is the Target by my mom's house that I grew up going to, but, make no mistake, I love em all! Target has everything you could want, and a bunch of crap you didn't know you needed or wanted, but will end up buying anyway. Cute, inexpensive clothes, jewelry, luggage. They have great deals on DVDs and CDs. CDs are always $9.99 the week they come out and they rotate DVDs on sale for $5, $7.50 or $13. The toiletries are cheaper than a super market, and there is a bigger selection. They even have good deals on plants in the garden section. Oh they also recently added the $1 bin, which is usually near the entrance and has a bunch of random crap for $1. Hit or miss, usually hit on at least one item. I often go to Target when I am bored and just eff around. Good times. read more

I can't explain it but every time, it never fails, I come to this store the shoe department looks like it was hit by a tornado. I was let down by this Target. I usually go to the Whitwood location but recently went to this one because it was closer. I don't recommend going to this location unless it is absolutely necessary. While the merchandise is relatively similar to most other Targets, this one lacks any professionalism in customer service. I stopped by to get a shirt for my 5 year old niece. Her favorite celebrity is Jojo Siwa. While I don't like her taste and disapprove of the style vehemently, I still try to make her as happy as I can. This Target does not share the same family values that define my relationships. When I was at the store, I looked for a shirt in her brand. After 20 minutes of rummaging through a bunch of disorganized clothes not properly sorted, I finally found the shirt. Unfortunately there was only one in her size. I understand that shirts run out of stock but I was disappointed nevertheless. When I looked closer at the shirt, I saw several stains. I figured that I could wash it and maybe get a discount since it wasn't in the best condition. I was wrong. At the register, I had to wait nearly twenty minutes. By the time I got to the front, I was slightly annoyed. What made it worse was the cashier. She was rude, slow, and abrupt. She didn't say anything until I told her the problem. It was then that her mood changed dramatically. She suddenly became hostile and aggressive. She told me she would not change the price, that I would have to deal with it myself. I demanded to see the manager, who actually took the cashier's side. Ridiculous. After another 10 minutes of arguing, the manager finally conceded. I even explained how it was for my niece and how I wanted it to be perfect. It just makes me sad how the employees would not at least try to understand my frustration. In the future, please try to acknowledge customer complaints better. The Whitwood location does not have these same issues. In the end, I ended up paying less for a stained shirt. I say the stress and anxiety was not worth it. It should've been common sense, obviously something these employees lack. read more

Amazing customer service! I just got home from what could have been a really sad experience but the managers at Target made my Christmas. The Story: I purchased a few Christmas gifts for my new cousin, newborn nephew, and work clothes for myself. I returned to my parents house (across the street) excited to show my mom the cutest little onesie I bought for my nephew. To my surprise all the clothes I purchased were not in the bag I had. I raced out of the house back to Target (4 minute drive) hoping to retrieve the left goods. Unfortunately, the customer behind me made off with my bag. I was devastated. The manager must have seen how upset I was. After disclosing the bad news to me after checking the cameras, she said "let me see what I can do." She returned 5 minutes later with a gift card for the amount I had lost. I immediately went into the store and re-purchased the exact same items. I was so relieved and happy because they really didn't have offer me a gift card for everything I lost, but I'm very grateful they did. I really hope the customer behind me brings back the extra $70 of stuff she made out with... Thanks Target!! I've always been a faithful Target devotee up and down California. read more

I'm 7 months pregnant and still working during this pandemic and was in need of a few items so yesterday around 1:30 I did a drive up. When I got there I was helped by Alexis , something had happened with their system and for some reason my items were not all together they were just scattered around somewhere while I waited for her to figure it out 3 other cars came and you can tell all the orders got complicated.... Alexis was literally running in and out trying to get everyone's order right and quick and it wasn't her fault but the store seemed super busy and eventually Maria was able to come out and give her a hand she took my order over which took a bit to get right but given the circumstances they both were going above and beyond . I was in no hurry and did not mind waiting at all to avoid going in. I hope that all drive up customers are kind and patient with them they put themselves at risk to continue to serve people in this crazy time !!! read more

We just moved in the area and we have no choice but to shop at this Target. During our early stages of moving in La Habra, it got to the point that we checked in here for 6 days straight due to buying floor lamps, floor mats, light bulbs, and other necessities. Only problem that we came across was that at the front lanes some girl happened to turn her check stand lights off, once started to put our things on the checkout counter, she obviously didn't want to ring us up and asked us to go to the next lane, she shouldn't have been rude about it! Another gripe that I have here is at times there would be overloaded trash on the front entrance and their Starbucks should be cleaner! I've over came those short comings after many trips here and I've started to get comfortable. At least this store is one of those new tier stores not the outdated ghetto Targets. La Habra is now my home and this store is okay but I don't see this Target getting anymore than a 3 star. read more

THIS STAR REVIEW IS BASED ON THEIR PHONE OPERATORS Their operators are terrible. I called two days in a row Friday evening and Saturday evening around 8:30-9pm.Each day was a different item I was looking for. The first time, I had an item number, and they said they didn't have the item. It wad a pair of pants. The Brea location just checked for me, and said they carried two at the La Habra store. Since I was close by, I went in anyway to check. 20 seconds within walking in I found what I was looking for. Just went straight to it. Easy as pie... They're a light coral color... Easy to spot... Saturday, when I called the lady on the phone was a total B word. She didn't even bother trying to help me. She just had this attitude of "yeah, it's wouldn't be here". Granted it was Black Friday, the store wasn't busy at 4am when I was there... for 2 min later when I arrived to again FIND WHAT I HAD CALLED FOR less than 1 min of being in the store!! I told her I just left the Fullerton location and they had so many, but not the color I was looking for. Online it said there were some still available. She looked at the catalog and said, "um yeah, that's what I thought. It's a door buster item, and we wouldn't have it" she didn't even bother to try... Since I went anyway, based on the outcome of the day before, I was so unhappy to find that not only did they have so many of them, they had several in the color I wanted! Based on everything else, I would rate this place with 5 stars Aside from this place lacking sufficient customer service via the phone, this locations is NEVER crowded. Even on Black Friday, it was so empty. The other employees I've encountered have been SO kind, and SO helpful with any questions I've had. Parking is always easy to find, and they're always in stock of what I'm looking for (even if they say it isn't there...) I am a Manager at a shop where I deal with plenty of customer service. I know what's polite and helpful. I can see the difference between a lazy employee, and someone that wants to do well in what's at hand. I guess in this case, the rule "third time's a charm" might be able to fix this...hopefully, they get better training. read more

Do NOT buy Target gift cards from this store or any target store! For Christmas my sister gave me a target gift card and when I went to go use it there was no balance on it. Called target and they were no help. I had the the receipt and everything. They wouldn't send out a replacement all they said was there was no way to prove that it wasn't used by the buyer or myself. Then I got a gift card for my cousin for his birthday May 16th gave it to him same day. When they went to go use it they were told there was no balance on it. When my aunt called target she was told that it was used the same day of purchased! How could that be when I purchased it and put it in a birthday card. They too told her that there was no way to know who used it. NEVER BUY TARGET GIFT CARDS from any TARGET!! Such a shame. Such poor customer service. read more

The customer service associates are super courteous and patient and are sure you leave the store happy. I think this store is cleaner than the Brea store and you are always able to find an associate in the aisles if you should need their help. Wish it was a full Target Greatland in the area like back east, but this store is sufficient. One thing that needs to be worked on at this store however is their shopping cart retrieval. There at least two to three carts randomly in parking spaces in between cars and then a whole bunch just scaterred outside the front doors, so if you are in need of a cart while shopping you might have to check outside. read more

This is a nice and fairly large Target location. It's conveniently located on Imperial Highway and in a nice shopping center. This location has a grocery, pharmacy, Starbucks, and cafe.
