I was sitting in my car as she walked out with her balloons and other purchases. I noticed the balloons because I had seen her inside with me & they were pretty large. She walked out to her car which was parked in front of mine. I happened to look up at just the exact moment- I saw one of the balloons slip away into the air. There was no way she could have caught it because it had come away from the string. The lady was holding onto the string. She was frustrated and I told I saw what happened & I told her to go back inside. I stuck around because I wanted to be a witness if needed. She came back outside & said they were getting another balloon ready. But she also told me that the clerk inside told her " you should have held onto it " Who holds onto a balloon by the " nub"? And they used to provide the balloon weights free of charge with the purchase of the balloon! As far as the actual store - it's clear the workers work very hard & seem to have a good sense of " ownership ",my experience is that they care about the store and want it to do well. I've heard the supervisor discussing re- organizing the store in trying to keep it neat. This does seem to be one of the neater stores in the area. This store gets an Orowheat bread delivery, which I only used to see at the 99c store when they were around.

I had forgotten that there was a Kohl's here in this plaza, so I Googled Kohl's locations in La Habra as I was going to be in area running errands and needed a Kohl's for an Amazon return. This Kohl's location is next to the now closed Amazon Fresh location on Imperial Hwy. There are plenty of parking spots near the front of the store, really convenient. As I stepped in, I did notice that the lights were darker than other Kohl's locations - maybe to save electricity or help "cool" the store down with the heat outside. The signs for Amazon returns was a bit unclear, but it is in the back lefthand side of the store, next to the restrooms and water fountain. I was able to return my item quickly, there were a few other customers before and after me. Overall, it was a smooth transaction and I was able to get in and out within a few minutes.

She seemed nice enough, not exactly rude but she didn't interact with me much. She spent the whole time complaining with another worker about a specific supervisor. Micromanaging, unbearable, they hate when they see this supervisor coming their way. I get it, very few people enjoy having to sit under another person. Maybe this supervisor IS a pain to work for, But this behavior is unprofessional. I was browsing for a cute throw pillow for the couch. Overall, the store felt a bit underwhelming, and I had expected a larger selection. The items were packed closely together on the shelves, which made me a little cautious about knocking things over. Doesn't seem like they're actually building or removing any part of the store, more of a "re-organizing" project it seems, with maybe some updates to the fixtures. When they have a good variety of inventory with lots of things of sale, this location is a prime spot to hunt for a bargain! On this trip, I found a cute set of mugs and some great snacks on clearance. I will note however, they're notorious for putting trash out to sell lol What do I mean by that? Example, pricing a broken measuring cup with a missing handle for $0.30 It's funny and annoying at the same time lol Why put that out on the shelf like it's a goodwill? If you're in the area this is a pretty good location, good skincare section, fairly large home goods area, and a decent pet section.

I went to the restroom to wait, but she did absolutely nothing, and my daughter kept saying she was about to have an accident. So, I asked for the code next time, but she said no--she had to open it for me. I had to wait again, but my daughter couldn't hold it anymore, so I looked for someone else to open it for us (since there were three of us waiting by then). When the cashier saw me--I assume she saw me--she spoke over the intercom telling someone to open the restroom. I mean, couldn't she have done that from the start? They really need to improve that arrogant attitude--acting as if they're doing us a favor. The cashier's name is Claudia, and I think the owners should look into this; it is inhumane to make a little girl wait when she can barely control her bladder. This happened today, September 20, between 11 AM and 12 PM.

LOL I have no idea but I'm so happy I stopped in today, baby girl and I just wanted to browse around and look, but they have so much here so much more than the one I usually go to. The parking lot is kinda insane and it's a little hard to find parking, but I did find a spot which was nice. There's so much to look at. Love the stationary area and all the cute little nicknacks and home stuff and cute little random things you can find. I was actually in shock at how much more they have than the one I go to. I could've looked all day, but I didn't want to go crazy LOL I definitely wanna come back to this location. I'm so happy I found book ends for my books. They kept falling on my nightstand and I'm trying to keep them up with things around the house, but it wasn't working haha. Thinking maybe I can find them here and I did and I'm so happy with them they work perfectly. I also got baby girl a pencil case for her school pencils. The employee that rang us up was so nice, so sorry I didn't catch her name. But she was so nice and friendly with a smile. More Than Just A Frame…read more Went to Hobby Lobby looking for a picture frame for a short poem that means a great deal to me. I quickly became puzzled over the frame color, size, and whether to use a mat or not. Thankfully, Kim came to the rescue. She was patient, thoughtful, and walked through several options with me without ever making me feel rushed. With her wonderful eye and expertise, we found a frame that fit perfectly, and adding the mat made the poem look so dimensional and lovely. It truly brought the piece to life. I also didn't realize they do custom framing, and that really fills a gap left when our local art store was lost during Covid. It is comforting to know there is still a place where people genuinely care about helping you create something meaningful and beautiful. Thank you, Kim, for making what felt overwhelming into such a warm and lovely experience.

The store was about average to large for a Daiso store. I found the aisles and the store very organized as well as the check out. Parking is easy because you are in the Quad. I am on a diet, but I was tempted to go get a Thrifty ice cream from Rite Aid. When I went, they had some many Christmas decorations out. If you go now, you may see other seasonal items. I wish they had merchandise from Japanese/Italian pro wrestler Giulia!
