This is the Target I usually go to... it's the closest to my house. They moved it from their other location further down Imperial a couple years ago. I think this location is better than the Target Greatland in Fullerton, because it is cleaner and they actually have most items in-stock on the shelves. I usually never have any problems finding things, only because when I go with my boyfriend, who works at a different Target. I would agree with other reviewers about the customer service, they are helpful if they happen to have a limited stock of an item, they will try find the closest location to get it. Many Targets now have the market selection so it's a great one spot shop for needed items! read more

First of all, let me say that I absolutely love Target. But this location, with the "manager" they have, she claims that she is but with the attitude and unprofessional act, she can't be the manager. It seems like she hasn't been properly trained and needs a new manager to maintain good customer service. Other then that, the staff is friendly but after contacting corporate, I hope to not see her again. This location gets a 1 star because of poor customer satisfaction/service. I love Targets in general, I can never go to one without buying something I didn't intend on buying. For this specific target: Pros: - Fairly new & so fairly clean :) - Well stocked! Especially with makeup and clothes (which is mostly the things I go for) Cons: - usually pretty bad customer service. I feel like the employees are poorly trained. There have been several occasions in which I had to step up and help the cashier checking out my items. - whoever is working at the fitting room desk always looks cold and like she doesn't want to be there. read more

They are always great to our kids at this target. My boys always split a popcorn and they always split it into 2 bags and they talk to our 3 and 7 year old boys like they are real customers. I shop at target frequently and this is one of my least favorite stores. Their employees are not as friendly, almost snooty especially when you're at guest services. So unwilling to help... I come here for groceries and essentials and has everything i need. Less packed than walmart, although prices are a little more than walmart or any other but overall a good environment. I would like to share how terrible my experience it was to shop at Target in the afternoon of Sunday. I had to be in the line for 15 minutes when there were only 2 customers in front of me. When someone opened a new register right behind me, instead of taking the next customer in line, he just cut off the line. He just took someone right in the middle of the line as a next customer. After, I had to get a medium drink at the Target Cafe. The lady working there was in the kitchen making something. At this point, I was already very displeased with the services and employee behaviors at your store. I had to just wait there until she realized there was actually a customer standing. She came and greeted. She was being polite, but I didn't care at that moment because I was already upset with the services. I paid in cash handed $20, and guess what? When she gives me the change, she spits on the dollar bill because she couldn't count. You spit on the bill and handed it to me? WTF? When I took the bill, I happened to touch the bill where she spitted to count. I was very upset, but decided to let go because I just wanted to get out. When I turned my back to get the drink, the employee said "WOW". Yes, I guess she was upset with me because I didn't respond when she said " have a nice day." after spitting on my bill. Really? What a wow service? I didn't say it to her directly, but I had to say on the spot "wow? really? same thing to you wow." I put a very shiny penny on the register and walked away. The only reason I am giving two stars is that the dryer I was looking for was $5 cheaper than Amazon. read more

I designed a photo book online for Mother's Day (for my wife) and picked it up at the Brea Target, but the pictures came out a quarter of the size in print. I even reviewed the photo book online and everything was good. Long story short, a cashier said that there photo-making devices were down but that I could go to the La Habra Target where they have a photo specialist. So I did that. The frustrating part was I simply wanted to pull up my same project, show the photo specialist and use those photos--but she said that was not possible. So I had to upload photos to Facebook while in the store, using the photos on my phone. It was frustrating because I had some great pics saved online, that my wife would gave loved, but could not access them. read more

Went to check on a fridge item which was absent, was asked by Amanda if she could help, and help she did! She first checked her stock by her phone, confirmed that the item had just arrived that morning and was in the back, and then, before I could get a word in edgewise to please take my cart for return trip, disappeared, went all the way to the back, retrieved the cold rather heavy items, and returned to me. I thank her for her help, since the item I wanted is rather popular. It was all a matter of timing. Kudos to her for great customer service. There was another young man in the area who was equally polite and helpful, he was stocking items for the fridge. I want to let them know how much I appreciate their kindness. read more

I wouldn't give any star. This branch really got me frustrated this morning. So I called at 8:58 to check on availability on Nintendo classic. It's been a hot item since it was released that's why I call in the morning to check stores if they have any so I can go purchase one. I called la habra target because their inventory says they have 1 since Tuesday but everytime I call, they said they had none since it was released. Called at 8:58 am, pressed 2 for electronics, took awhile before someone picked up. Asked the lady team member answered. I asked if they had that 1 in they're inventory and the lady said "yes we do have that 1 left". She did say too that "you were the one who calls in the morning to check huh?" So I answered "yes, that's me , I call every morning to check" then she said she can have it for me at guest services. So then I asked who do I look for and she said to just come to guest services and pick it up. Then I told her that my name is joy so that she knows who will be picking it up. Left my place (west covina) like 10-15 mins after I talked to the red team member. Had to bring my little toddler with me too. Drove there, when my daughter and I got there, went straight to guest services and approached a team member wearing black shirt. I told her that I was told that I'm picking up a Nintendo classic up guest services. I got my wallet ready assuming that I'm gonna be paying so it'll be done right away because my little one was getting fussy in the stroller. She used her walkie to find out where the Nintendo was. Then she told me to go to electronics because they didn't have the item. She told the electronic team member that a lady with a stroller is coming over there. Went there, lady in electronic asked me what item I was picking up, then I said the Nintendo. She said we don't have any and that it was sold out since last week. I told her I was told to come over because there was 1 left and the lady I talked to put a hold under the name joy. She said if I called electronics, I said when I dialed target la habra I pressed for electronics and it took awhile before someone answered. She said she never talked to anyone and that there was no call this morning. I assured her I wasn't lying that I really talked to a lady that told me to come over to pick up that last 1. Then she said we've been sold out. I told her when I called and inventory had 1 left and that lady I talked to confirmed there was 1 left.so I said never mind, I'll go back to guest services because the instructions was to pick it up at guest services. Went back, talked to team member rhaellyn at guest services and was talking on the walkie asking if there was an item for joy for pick up. Team member asked me if I got the name, I told her no because when I asked over the phone who to look for I was told to just go to guest services straight. Team members were trying to figure out over the walkie who that person was. Rhaellyn told me that it was the operator because the operator said my name over the walkie about "joy" picking up. But apparently that operator said she made a Mistake. It's Very frustrating that I was misinformed to come over to pick up the item. I drove for 30mins going there to find out that the team member I talked to made a mistake. Ugggh! So another team member (a tall guy) confirmed that they were sold out since last week.. then he took out the red gadget scanner to check in their system. He asked me for the dpci # which I gave him. He typed it and saw there is 1 at their store. He told me that he will go and find out in the back that 1 item left coz he said that it shouldn't be gone if it's saying there 1 on inventory machine. He told me to wait for 5mins and he will go check. I said ok fine. After minutes of waiting with my daughter who has being cranky already, rhaelyn approached me again and said the guy I talked to earlier just sent a message over the walkie that he went to the back and checked but he couldn't find anything. So I asked her so if your system inventory is saying there's 1 left, then where is it. Did it just got out of the door without going thru checkout. She said that she doesn't know. I said so it's either that hot item just walked out of the door magically, or it's somewhere at the store and someone is holding it. She said I don't know again. I told her if targets system is like this then the system sucks then. System is showing 1 but no one could find it. Then I just told her that I need the # for corporate because I want corporate to know what happened today. I'm so upset, drove all the way from West Covina in traffic.. for nothing! Store credibility is just so frustrating. Just wasted my time and my effort going all the way there for nothing. Rhaellynne asked me if I want to talk to the store manager but I was just so pissed because of what happened. My little one was cranky and crying so I just asked her for corporates # and that I will go straight to corporate for my complain. read more

Target is Target. haha What more can I say? But I love shopping at Target. They have everything I need for the most part. This location is a little messier than Fullerton and Brea's locations though hence the 4 star. But they are still clean. Just the isle need to be tended a little more to keep everything tidier. Also every time I have come here to buy something especially from the electronics department they do price matches without a question. That's always a plus in my books. I see a few reviews saying their pharmacy sucks, but I do not get my prescriptions filled here, so I can't comment on that. But over all I am a Target fan over Walmart any day! read more

I've never written a review for a store or anything before, but here it goes. I was planning a movie night for my family. We didn't have very many family appropriate films so I decided to call ahead and make sure we could get some good films for lil' DeShawn to watch. My wife gave me a few suggestions, so I called the electronics department. The kid who picked up was INSANELY helpful (think his name was Adam?). I asked for about 7 movies, unfortunately he didn't have two of them in stock. He put up with getting these movies for me for over 20 minutes whilst juggling other customers and the chaos in the electronics department. He convinced me to start buying blueray since my xbox can play them (I didn't even know that). Whilst he was helping find the movies he made some great conversation and really made my night. After all of this was done he placed it on hold for me in the electronics department. I came to the store a little over an hour later, he must have been on break or something because some lady came to me helped me out. After a few minutes the kid came back, finished my transactions and showed me the perks of having a red card. I'm not signing up for that, but it wasn't pushy or anything. Just politely asked and showed me the advantages of having it. This is literally the best experience I have ever had at a store. (I have been shopping by myself for 13 years mind you). Kid, if you're reading this, you did a good job and I applaud you, hope you get some sort of raise. Otherwise the store was clean, other employees weren't pushy and I wasn't racially discriminated by security, which is always nice. There were carts all over the place though, maybe the store was just stocking, but it looked kind of unfinished and I don't really know that guests should have to see the mess which is your 15 carts and shipments of products on the ground/on aisles. Within a small radius of my home, this wonderful Target is set up right against the rolling hills of La Habra. Since this location is adjacent to a vacant storefront, it makes for great parking, every time. Just like any other Target, this one has a familiar layout which was easy for me to transition to. The staff here are always nice at checkout. I see familiar faces every time I check out. Even thought they don't remember who I am, I greet them like they were part of my family. Overall, a very reliable and consistent choice as far as Targets go. read more

I love this Target Location. I always have a pleasant experience here. There is always parking somewhat close unless it is a supper busy day. It is very clean and looks very nice. Haaaaaate this Target. This is my "if the target at whittwood doesn't have what I need I'll check this one" store. I live in Whittier so I always go to that one and it's immaculate. So clean, so neat and organized. The la habra one? Not so much! Every single time I come in, it's in disarray. Messy as hell and unorganized. The kids clothes are the worst culprit. The only thing it has in common with Whittier target is the bathrooms are gross. But, that's every target. Don't waste your time here! I definitely won't again. read more

I don't think there is anything to not like about this Target store location. It is organized well and clean, has lots of variety, a balanced mix of inexpensive and higher quality of goods, grocery section offers some fresh produce and staff offers good service. BUT the Target store in La Habra is such a dump, there's trash dumped on the side of their store, the makeup, shoe and women's clothing areas are always a complete mess. I LOVE Target, I go there about once or twice a week. But lately I've been hating my experience there. I don't know about everyone else but every time I go for one thing I end up browsing in every department for things my family and I probably need. I want to say each trip is about 1-2 hours and lately every time I go I see the same protection service guy. As if I'm stealing??! Like really?! "Under cover" more like "it's obvious you're following me". It's annoying and feel like I can't shop peacefully. Also, some of the staff doesn't even acknowledge you and stop to ask if you need help. Pre-ordered an iphone 6 plus at this store and the sales associate said I would receive my phone over launch weekend. I had to purchase a $25.00 gift card as part as this pre-order. Turns out, Target has received NONE of the 6 plus phones and is still trying to string all pre-orders along. Target has been very misleading and I am very disappointed. This ordeal seems to be a marketing scheme...as you have to purchase a $25.00 gift card (money in Targets pocket) in order to complete your pre-order. I will never deal with Target again and would like to inform others out there what Target is doing is just WRONG! I would give Target a negative rating, but Yelp doesn't have this option. read more

This is my target home store as it is the closest to my home. That being said, I like shopping at target because it's sort of a one stop shop. As of lately, I am gravitating more toward Walmart. I am sick and tired of being pestured about the Red Card. They are pushing it way too much and it's almost harassment. They ask if you'll be using your red card and the answer is always no. They never leave it at that, they go into an entire speech and I have to listen to it during the entire checkout process. What's worse is that I go there all the time and of course some of the same folks forget they've already tried to sell it to me, so I have to hear it all over again. Should I be aggressive back and say I don't want to hear the speech?? They need to stop this rhetoric, if I say I am not interested...it needs to stop there and they should appreciate the business. It's a new clean store.. Service is pretty good. Parking is kinda weird. The entrances and exits are off to the sides. You have to drive through zig zags to get to the middle rows... but inside the store is typical of what I would expect. read more

We come here often. Sometime the employees are reasonable and/or helpful people. Today, the cashier coughed in her hand right as she began scanning our items. Half way through the transaction she rubbed her nose. It was gross and I can't believe she thought that was acceptable. Very friendly staff, always a clean store, if anything gets spilled the people are there to clean it up in about 3 seconds. Way better selection of everything. Compared to walmart, sometimes a little bit more pricey but I would rather go here than Walmart. Lines are normally decent checkers are quick and get everyone through the line rather quickly. The photo department people are friendly as well as the customer service. The only downside of this store would be the slow people at the Starbucks who will completely ignore you because they don't want to take your order, or when they say they are closed when the sign says they don't close for another 45 minutes. Their starbucks is the reason I gave this review a 4/5. read more
