We came in to find a silly Halloween item for our three year old. Completely unnecessary but very wanted. We had already been to another store and it was sold out. The app said they had it in stock but nothing was on the shelves yet. I asked a team member if they could find it. Marco went above and beyond to look for us, when he couldn't find it, he took down my info and when he did found it he save it for us and texted me when he had it ready. Working retail is rough, especially during the holidays, and it was really nice to meet someone who cared. Even if it was something silly. If you think the workers are racist, rude, slow or whatever bad experiences you had somewhere else long ago, reconsider their minimum wage position, the families and bills they have to support during this time. I go to many Targets while out running errands, and this location has been my favorite for many years, for several reasons. First, the parking is pretty good. The Target is a stand alone building, so you are not competing with restaurant customers for spaces. Next, the store is spacious and beautiful. They recently completed a remodel, and it looks great. In fact, they now have more self serve stations, which is my preferred method of checking out. I have also noticed that the employees seem nicer here than most Targets. They volunteer to walk me to a particular aisle instead of just pointing. The excellent customer service here has been consistent for many years. My only complaint is the restrooms could be cleaner. I realize that they are used frequently, but many times I am there, the paper towels are overflowing. read more

Had dinner up the street so I figure I'll just hit up the Target in the area instead of dealing with the one near my place in Garden Grove. Easy to find parking. Store somewhat well kept. Friendly and helpful staff. Sorting through sizes (men's clothing), everything that I checked was labeled correctly. That's always a plus. Target OPTICAL - Glasses & Contacts I finally used my eye insurance provided to me through work and went to Lenscrafters in Lakewood. They did the eye exam and then brought me in to discuss prices. I ended up at Target Optical (Adams/Brookhurst in Huntington Beach) because Lenscrafters was on the moon with their prices. Funny thing was when I told the folks at Target I had only partial insurance since I already had an eye exam completed, they guessed immediately that I had been to Lenscrafters! They stated that about 80% of people in my situation (exam already done) that come in to Target have been to Lenscrafters first! LOL! Anyway I got a beautiful new pair of RayBan glasses (they look and feel great) for only $165 and I get half of on a pair of matching sunglasses. The were quick, professional and courteous. I was under the impression Target as a corporation was upholding the health guidelines but this business does not enforce Masks whatsoever. Terribly unsafe and so many customers are not practicing social distancing. People don't bother to stay 6 ft away especially the ones with no masks. This is the closest Target to my house and I shop here at least once a week. Our Target is so messy, the shoe area is a disaster every single time I come here, I can't even get my cart 2 feet into the dept because there are always shoes all over the floor. The women's clothes are all mixed up and stuck in the wrong racks, there are so many pieces on each rack that if you touch something like 5 hangers fall down, and most people don't pick them up. One time I was trying on a jacket that was hanging on a lower peg on the wall and a freaking cockroach fell out of it. I died. I went and told the lady that was working the fitting room and she help up the jacket and said "there's no cockroach" then it ran across her foot and she stomped it out and said "do you still want this?" The women's clothing dept and shoes dept needs some more love from its employees. This store looks worse than a Walmart, if the employees don't care about putting products back in their correct place, than neither will the customers. I truly do hope that management reads these posts, and goes over them with their employees during their morning meetings or something, because I love Target, and I will continue to shop here. If it was cleaner I would probably make more purchases, but if the clothes are all effed up then I walk out without buying something from that dept. This Target is like every other Target - same product, with a hit or miss of employees. I come here for necessities; not for super helpful service - I don't need someone's help to find anything here - I have been coming here for years. However, some of the cashiers are often moody. Especially one Hispanic man who works here. One night, I was checking out and was buying a gift bag. However, the conveyer belt that was carrying my bag closer to the cashier didn't stop and kept getting wrinkled and smashed. I told the cashier that it seemed to be broken. He ceased to respond. I told him again that it seemed to be broken. No response. Finally, instead of considering responding to me, he said, "it is not broken, it's moving because you didn't take your hands off of the conveyer". Thanks old Hispanic dude for ignoring me until my gift bag was broken. My message to Mr. Old Hispanic Man: I am no employee of a place that uses a conveyer belt. Next time, PLEASE don't ignore me when your conveyer belt is destroying merchandise I want to buy. Rather, please just tell me to take my hands off the conveyer belt to make it stop moving. Overall, it's a typical Target. Great for necessities such as: cleaning products, toilet paper, and photo printing. Today 06/02/2020 around 3:00pm I came to Target to buy some stuffs. I never thought that I would have such a bad customer service there but I did. The staffs do not wanna help customer and have such bad attitudes. Especially the Mexican girl with super curly long hair. (I didn't have a chance to see her name tag). She and another staff ( I guess they are both Mexican) acted so rude and I can tell they seem like racist to me cause I'm Asian. First, I asked one of them (the one who kinda thick and short and I didn't have a chance to see her name tag neither) to help me find L'oreal color hair spray but she tried to avoid me like I have Corona virus even though everyone was freaking wearing mask and I tried not to have my face and my body too close to her, too. She told me she will call somebody else to find it while she still kept walking away. She didn't even stop for a second. I felt like I was chasing her. So ridiculous!!! That is not call "customer service". At least, she should have stopped for a moment when she was talking to customer, not just walk away without telling customer to wait there or something? like that. She kept calling somebody through the phone and walking away like she really wanna ignored me. She freaking ignored Target's customer!!! I was like freezing for few seconds. I really didn't know what the hell I should do, stay there or follow her? She really walked that far. I ended up following her even though I really felt myself was treated disrespectful. And then the other girl came out. Like I said she is Mexican with long curly hair from the root. She kinda short, too. I had to ask her again to help me find the hair spray and she acted so mean like she didn't wanna help. She walked me to the session where they placed the hair sprays and just pointed her finger to that without saying a single word...and walked away:-). At that time, I was so mad inside and I couldn't take it anymore. Tbh, this is not a human behavior to me. Their attitude got me so so upset and TBH it was hurt my feeling alots. I felt like I was treated different. Everyone should be treated on equal and respect. How come Target could hire those people with that bad behavior to work with? I don't really get it. I just had the worst experience I've ever had at target today. At first I thought well this is kind of uncomfortable but things just went straight downhill. For starters the person checking me out was rude - yelled at me to not put my items on the conveyer belt yet. Okay whatever you're being cautious but a PLEASE to a GUEST wouldn't hurt. Then this person proceeds to read ALL OF THE NUTRITIONAL FACTS ON MY VEGAN GROCERY ITEMS. I'm not saying a quick "hm what this" I'm talking a full look through. It was SO OBVIOUS it made me uncomfortable.. but then this happened... THIS PERSON THEN STARTS VERY OBVIOUSLY SCRATCHING THEIR CROTCH AREA MULTIPLE TIMES.. WHAT IN THE?!?! You're handling my very judged groceries there pal maybe hands off your genitals ?! Oh but that was just the beginning... I had made a drive up order previously but then had to go into the store to grab grocery items. After I was done with the awkward and very uncomfortable encounter at the cashier I headed over to pick up to let them know I was actually in the store. The girl I checked in with was friendly and quickly went to the back to grab my items BECAUSE THE WERE READY FOR ME HOURS PRIOR. All of a sudden a tall older man comes up and starts freaking out and asking why I was there and if I had a pickup order I needed to be 20 ft away in an imaginary like with nobody in and no signage. I said to him I didn't have a pickup I had a drive up and let them know I was in store. Welp guess the customer is never right here I was then VERY RUDELY lectured by said GROWN MAN (old enough to be my father) and the girl who went from friendly to awful after she retrieved my items and realized she was in trouble for not directing me to pickup Siberia. I'm telling I was LECTURED LIKE I WORKED THERE AND DID SOMETHING WRONG. It was absolutely inappropriate and I was horrified. I wanted to yell at them both to be honest but I just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. I am so upset with what happened and that's sad to say because I love target. I know we're living in a weird time right now but that doesn't give you the right to judge my food, scratch your crotch and scold me like a child. I have been going to this target for years. Their app makes it easy to shop and order same day deliveries. The other mice feature is the drive up pick-up. The target employees are very quick with the items once you are notified it is ready for pick-up. I usually say I am at the location when I am turning into the shopping center and they are usually out with the product in minutes. They now have alcohol for drive up pick-up, a game changer for me. Well, it's Target - and we all know what a Target is. This one is close to home, so I practically live here. I do love that there is a Starbucks inside, since that stuff runs through my veins. They started carrying groceries here, and that made me even more happy with this place. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. I find this store clean and pretty well organized. If I can't buy something at Target, I probably don't need it. It is just so convenient for a girl who detests malls! Funny story: Once I saw a guy stalking this teenage girl - so OBVIOUSLY peeking through clothes at her, so I hoofed it over to security and enlisted help. Hands down the worst Target store ever!!! Adams and Brookhurst in Huntington Beach. The parking lot is always a mess with carts and trash, even trash at the front of the store. Every time we come here the shelves are always in shambles. They are always out of stock on many items we come for. I don't know how many times we just use Amazon to get what we need. I try to support our local stores but when they show how much they don't care, then I have no problem buying online. The clothes are always on the floor and this place is just a mess. I didn't use to be that way years ago. I'm surprised they don't try to do better after they remodeled. There are a bunch of people that work here but it seams like nothing gets done. Amazon is going to get more business when stores don't try to keep customers. Very poor management here. read more

I am giving 2 stars just because the staff deserves some credit. Everyone is nice. However, I am so sad to say that Target totally sucks now. Their marketing department and buyers have AWFUL style and decision making. The new layout is the most confusing thing I've ever experienced. There is no common sense or flow to it. Second, the clothes are horrible! I used to love coming to Target. I literally called it the Bullseye Boutique with my friends for years. I haven't seen ANYTHING remotely interesting to purchase for me, my kids or friends babies since the remodel. I've always liked this Target. The prices are decent and they have a Starbucks inside. I go here if I'm going on a trip and need some new shirts, skirts, pants and travel products. I also love their selection of picture frames. Just got a cute tri-picture family frame for $10. I did see this last time adorable winter coats. I'm going to have to go and scope them out. They have just opened up a grocery and produce area. The deal with Target is you gotta look at their low price deal tags. Sometimes you can get a steal. Other times it's just $.08 difference. For clearance shelves look at the shelve at the end of the aisle. It's usually got a bunch of stuff that they're looking to get rid of. Happy Shopping!!! read more

dont shop at target. i am in the westminister target every 2 weeks with my pups. in their stroller and in the carts. the rude manager who wasn't wearing a name badge or target badge. ran up to me and aaid my pups weren't allowed in the store in a cart. even though for the past 5 yrs we have been in their store. she said the health dept. said we couldn't have them in the carts. if the health dept wants to keep people safe. no one should be allowed to put their hands on anything. i guarantee you, 99% of the carts are unhealthy because people are slobs. they should test to see how dirty their carts are from humans, not pups i will not shop at that or any target that wont allow my clean, healthy and safe dogs in their store read more

The remodel is absolutely horrible . The designer/shoppers (especially for clothing), have the most grandma-loved, frumpy-ass taste I've ever seen! Yikes! Target used to have cute clothes, cute accessories and random deals, but NONE of those exist now. It seems to me that target thinks their hideous, poorly planned remodel makes them fancy... so they raised the prices accordingly. Targets a great local store that carries a little bit of everything you'd need! But there customer service has gone down hill tremendously! They never answer the phones in the evening and when I've stood in line for a return there is only 1 line for returns, pick ups and other issues. They seem more focused on the pick up orders verses giving the customer quality service!!!! Be aware when you cash out gift cards under California law, your experience may not be worth the effort. You have employee and supervisor/manager, telling you like "they have to cash out one at a time" and that "you cannot get the card back once it is cashed out." Or other times, setting "limitation on how many they could cash out." I love this target, it's been my go to target for the past 4 years! However, I recently had a bad experience about a month ago with a cashier named Julie, it was closing time and my family and I had a lot of items but so did this other costumer who was checking out. Julie proceeded to check out our items, but as she was packing our items in bags she would throw our bags onto the side table making them go past the side table falling onto the ground. It pissed me off and as much as I wanted to cuss her out at that moment, my little siblings were with me and the costumer next in line was with her two young children so I contained my anger due to having children around. When it came to give her our payment our total for one transaction was $103 with some cents we gave her $105 and she threw my mom the cash back complaining about us not giving her the exact change??? So as my mom is looking in her wallet for the exact change she gets the $105 aggressively from my moms hands and proceed to complete the transaction saying rude things under her breathe. I did mention it to the manager that night. I went in again last night and she was the only cashier and I again had a lot of items to do self check out so I stood in her register thinking maybe today will be a different experience with Julie, well I thought wrong! She proceeded to be rude while she rung up my transaction and my mom's transaction. She tends to get impatient with big transactions but at this moment I'm just starting to think it might be racism because she had a different attitude with the costumer in front of us and with the costumer behind as well. read more

Why is it, the cashiers at this target can always ruin my day?!? Management, please stop having your cashiers be sales agents, they're just cashiers, exactly what I just said. No, I don't want a target card, no I don't want the target card. No, I don't want to shop more for this or that. No, just no! All while trying to deal with two kids asking me questions at the same time. This target has become terrible over the last year. There are ALWAYS lines, no matter the time of day. Yesterday, I came here for maybe the second time in ten years. Both times I won a $25.00 gift certificate to come. Behind my smile and thanks for winning I cringed. The last time I spent a lot of time trying to "spend" this gift. The prices seemed so high compared to other places I shopped. This time was even worse. I remember that Target had a concessions place back then. Yesterday I was hoping to find a salad or at least something eatable for lunch. NOT! Starbucks had an expensive panini (processed turkey). Pizza Hut only had pizza, two pastas with nothing else included with them, 6 chicken wings for over $4.00. I asked the young male if these were whole wings. He replied that they were "little wings" and showed me some wing segments. And, the dipping sauce was extra. No Thanks! Because I was hungry I ordered the popcorn (less than $2.00). No choice in salt because he said it came in a package. It was somewhat salty but, HEY! It seemed like the best choice on the menu.The parking lot was FULL and I had a hard time finding a spot. There were not that many people in the store. (Do they have something SECRET going on underground?) The whole store was STRANGE. They were out of calamine lotion. When I asked the clerk about it, she said all the Targets were out of it. They were out of Maybelline Dark Brown Eye Liner but they had LOTS of Velvet Black. So I bought one of the last Medium Browns ($2.99). No more garden area at all meaning no LIVE plants. A large number of items did not even have prices on them. WHY? Were there any pluses here? Yes, they do have some items for nature lovers like me. There are cute items made out of braided water hyacinth foliage like an elephant basket with cover (yes, trunk turned up!) However, it cost more than my gift certificate.NO! I did buy their last Insect House ($13.99). It's made of different size hollow bamboo put into a wood holder.Very cute and durable for hopefully desirable critters. It's already up outside out of the rain and I will check back on it. They DO have very realistic artificial plants. I did buy a smaller faux grass in a square cement for $2.08 marked down from $6.99. Also, a small bromeliad in a cement square for $3.00. Boxes of Bandages (2) $1.89 ea., White Out (2) $1.09 ea. and, a package of three bottles of bubbles for the grandkids ($1.00) WOW! That's it and it took me a LONG time. I even spent $10.15 more than the gift card. My QUESTION? Why do people come HERE when there is so much MORE with better prices at Walmart? read more

Opens at 8am but honestly I've never really had an issue with them being overly crowded. Always seem to have enough cashiers that the wait is never long. The grocery selection is large enough to get just about everything needed and there always seems to be a sale. Nothing better than being able to stop on my way by for a cup of coffee and Mother's Day card at the same time. Make sure to sign up for the Red Card and get 5% every purchase.
