This is my first time at this location in many years. Areas inside was nicely arranged. All associates were very friendly. There was a lot of clearance items. I was lucky to get plenty of things I needed with good prices. Today was a sample and free giveaway but that didn't happen here. The associate doing the sample section kindly explained the missing giveaway. As I walked to my car a very nice person gave me 2 protien waters and let me know Target had them 2 for $5. This store consistently goes above and beyond to help me find the one off item I require. They were the fourth Target during the Christmas rush, and they absolutely stopped and helped me dig, dig, and dig some more to find an item the other stores said they didn't have. All Target Stores are the same, with one differentiation, and that's the staff! The STAFF here are top notch. read more

I have come to Westchase Target so much since Covid-19 pandemic began in 2020. There were no other stores that offered a variety of products. I would order online, pick up at the store with limited contact with anyone. There were times they didn't observe CDC recommended protocols but only followed governor Abbott's irresponsible mandates. I stopped coming. Few months later, I came back because their corporate office issued a mandatory mask policy to all guests and employees. Up to this date, all customer-facing employees are still wearing masks. That's why I recommend everyone to shop at Target. They protect their employees' healthy working environment. Since then, I have come to shop at the store because there are few items I need to touch and feel. The most important thing that I come here often is because of the recycling bins for PETE, glass, metal cans and plastic bags. I didn't have to drive to the city recycling center. Barbi likes this one, but generally prefers the one over in Memorial City for some reason - I would give both locations 2 stars, but she insisted I give them higher ratings because I take her here all the time and she enjoys her shopping experiences a lot more than I do, apparently... and I do whatever she says. My Target experience was phenomenal. I love Target because it is a spicier Walmart, if you will. There are not items scattered everywhere where they do not belong, the lines can get annoying (and I always let the employees ring me up so as not to take their jobs with the self check out. No lie, I will buy a pack of gum and wait patiently for turn. Hey, everybody needs jobs right!) I digress....... The items I came for where shampoo and conditioner for my hair geared towards women of color. I love the variety and settled for the last ones I bought before with good results. Thier shampoo makes my hair so soft! I really enjoyed perusing then eventually purchasing a few items: eye shadow, lipstick, nail inserts, mascara and their wonderful dry and peel face masks. The masks really really help and make your face soft and supple. I did glance at kitchen, bed, and bathroom decor that I love here put instead I opted out in the end. Excellent Target! read more

I always find myself in Target browsing around for stuff I honestly don't need. I leave with tons of things I didn't plan to buy. I love Targets swimwear department they always have the cutest styles for every shape. I also love love to read so I often go to the book department where they always have books at a discounted price. They always have the latest top reads in stock. I love love love their gym and sleepwear clothing which can often be pricy but they have cute matching sets. Target can be expensive for certain items but they have a selection of items I can't find anywhere else. read more

Finally a Targét kind of Target in this city, not a Walmart in Target clothes like most of the trash locations. This store redeems all of the other trash heaps in the city that pretend to be a Target but fail at actually being one. Having viewed Love, Simon on an international flight recently I came home on a mission from the good lord below to find those Halloween (orange creme) Oreos. Little did I know how difficult that would be in a city that appears to be stridently anti-Oreo. I visited six different supermarkets and left empty handed. I visited another location of Target in the Heights that claimed on their online system that they had those Oreos - but guess what sister, I walked out of that one empty handed too since that store was a filthy liar about the state of their cookie inventory in that store. Enter this location. An hour west of me. I had to drop what I was doing after racing to get a motion finished and then jetting from the office to swing by and get these Oreos before they went anywhere besides my belly to calm down all that liquor. I can't believe I left work early and gave up money (I get paid hourly) to come get these cookies, and that I drove an hour each way for these. Also by that same token I can't believe that I only drove an hour each way for these because I am a cookie monster that would have easily driven two or more hours if that is what it took to get these cookie dignitaries and screen legends of Hollywood film history. This Target was clean upon entry, unlike the one in the Heights. This Target had an orderly and fast moving Guest Services space I breezed through, unlike the one in the Heights. This Target had an exceedingly pleasant and quick working employee manning the Guest Services line. She disappeared and reappeared quickly with my cookie haul, then she bid a good day. Unlike the grump and sass you get from the one in the Heights. Disregard all the other locations of Target in the city. This is the trill one. Finally a location of Target that makes me happy I moseyed on in to the store rather than buying things online and having them shipped. Wow, this target is definitely not being held to the high standards other target stores are. First time at this location and in the parking lot all the target cars were vandalized and dirty. Coming inside the Starbucks there was literally no one behind the register. I waited about 5 minutes before anyone attended me. Finally the barista took my order and left to go get the ingredients from the store to be able to prepare the drink, so I had to wait additional time, I only ordered 1 caramel macchiato & 2 bullseye cake pops. The rest of the store was fine as I found it was mostly fully stocked, but employees were in their phone instead of helping customers. There was only 1 person cashier, all other lanes were closed. Only 4 self check outs and 2 were not in service. This store was just a sad experience. read more

Placed an order online to pick up at the store. I came in around 8:30 and decided to browse around before I went to the customer service desk to pick up my stuff. I probably spent about 30 minutes browsing and shopping, and after I paid for my stuff, I went to the customer service desk to find that it was already closed - with the lights all turned off and whatever. I stood there for a while and checking the store hours to find that the store closes at 11 pm and there were no signs indicating that the customer service desk would be closed earlier than the store. I didn't see any notice in my pick-up notification email about having to come in at certain hours either. I finally waved one of the guys manning the self check-out counters and asked him about the customer service desk and he told me that they were closed. I mean, DUH, I can see that. But why were they closed, though? Finally, he asked me what I was picking up and he helped me get my stuff and I left. But seriously, though. Why were they closed early? It was a Thursday and it was barely 9 pm. Yes, I still have my email notification from Target telling me that my purchase has been picked up and the timestamp on that email is 9:09 pm. read more

My go-to Target since it's by my house. Not as big as the super target on Eldridge. My favorite section is the 1 dollar section but there are some stuff that are 3 dollars. It's right there when you come in and it's the first section I go to. They always have cute cups, decorations, and holiday assorted essentials. The food section isn't that big, just have the essentials and snacks. Other than that they have everything from clothes, electronics, cosmetics, house decors, and baby stuff. Like most Targets, there's a Starbucks inside. This one has a Pizza Hut. I just grab a drink and walk around Target. read more

Used drive up service it was fast and friendly and easy to use. Super frustrating that they only have 4 stalls and customers seem to ignore the signage. You may have to drive around many times and wait for a drive up space to be available because only 2 of the 4 are being sued for drive up, the other 2 are customers who have outright parked and went in to shop. I asked employees about it and they said they can only add a flyer to their car to let them know not to do it in the future. The lady I talk to did agree that it was incorrect and a pain and said that she would add flyers to the cars that we were speaking of at the time immediately. Meanwhile as I drive to leave the parking lot further down that same main aisle there is a young adult girl, customer who is crying and there is glass everywhere while she was shopping her vehicle window was busted out and someone apparently robbed her vehicle in broad daylight. There are no police around and it seems that no employees are aware either overall parking lot security and awareness of customers safety and following rules and laws seems to be a concern at this location. read more

The refrigerators have been leaking water at this location for months. Today I passed by and there was only one wet floor sign in the front of the aisle and nothing soaking up the water as before. There was a rotten smell coming from the aisle aswell. This location has gone down hill and I only come out of convenience. Don't recommend buying food here at the point. And honestly the customer service is not that great anyways. Whenever I find something online that says it is available in store, it's not nearly half of the time. I don't understand how such a big company can have such low standards for their locations. Also they have one check out line and then self checkout always has a long queue. Target needs to either lower their prices or bring back better standards of shopping. read more

I was surfing Black Friday deals on the web, and found a couple of items in the target ad which were not available to purchase online. Therefore, I had to make a pit stop in person, right after the Black Friday rush madness was over. I came by around 4pm and the parking lot looked relatively full. I was hesitant to go inside, but took a chance. I was surprised to see how clean the store looked. It seemed like the employees were on top of their game by stocking and cleaning all the merchandise that is usually lying on the floor after such a peak rush. I saw quite a few workers restocking and fixing the aisles. To my amazement, the 2 video games i went to look for were still available. Woooo hooooo. I was ecstatic. I quickly grabbed them and held on to them for dear life. Also couple of other boxers n under shirts were in stock. The checkout line was fast and I was serviced in less than 5 minutes. I definitely had to write a review about my local Target. Although my boyfriend and I stocked up on food before the hurricane hit we never expected to be holed up in our apartment as long as we were (a blessing considering everything else) but we were running low on food. I am so grateful that the store manager and a few employees left the comfort of their homes so that fellow Houstonians could come in to grab some essentials. The store manager - I didn't catch her name - briefed all of us as we'd been waiting in line for about an hour. We all expressed gratitude that we've been relatively safe and dry during this entire Harvey ordeal. She instructed us that we'd be let in twenty at a time and respectfully let us know that the safety of her employees and customers was her first priority. She even had one of her employees come to take Starbucks orders from the people who were waiting to be let in that wanted coffee. I hope what those reading take from this review is that I was moved by the kindness of the employees here when they were obviously stressed because of the weather, understaffed and understocked. Before I begin my review, I hate to be the person who writes random useless reviews for establishments like gas stations, drugstores, etc. but this experience is just terrible. Went to target to pick up an online order, FIFTEEN minutes before closing. Mind you, there was still people walking in and walking around in the store. When I arrive to the customer services/guest services counter there was no one there. Then I went to find someone to assist me, I encountered Paris, one of the employees that works there. She said she could help me but said she would not help me. You're kidding. She didn't even give me a reason why she couldn't. All she said was that I would have to come back to get my order. This is very inconvenient. Fast forward to tomorrow, I went to target AGAIN to pick up my order. I was greeted by Nneka, who promptly gave me my online order. Worst Target run ever. I am a big fan of Targets to the point I even own their stock but today was such a cluster xxxx. No one in the store to help with finding anything. We finally find a guy unpacking items butt he appears angry because we are in his way, so much for that. We finally find everything we came for which isn't easy dragging around 6 year old twins who of course want everything. We get to the front with a load of items and wait in line, and wait and wait. There is only one cashier and she is slow and very talkative. On a Saturday you have 1 cashier? I realize after everything is totaled that we have overspent the gift cards the boys got for Bday so I put the rest on my Target card because I don't want to hold up the line getting the boys to decide what to put back. We decide after going through everything and go to returns. She refuses to put the money I spent on my card back on my card and insist she can only give me a gift card. WTF! After all this we get home only to find one of the Pokémon Tins is empty. Just perfect. There's no way I will ever returrn to this Target. I tHink this store needs a new Manager. read more

Went shopping here today and my husband left his cell phone at the register. Over five hours later he remembered that something was missing while I panicked that our shopping had turned into a several hundred dollar mistake. We left the house with little hope of finding it. And here's where I'm thankful I shop at Target over Wal-Mart. Not only did the cashier turn our phone in to the service desk, but they actually answered the phone after closing hours and even sent someone out to give us the phone when clearly they were out back cleaning up and closing shop. I went to this location to buy a video game with a Target card I had. The game was advertised at 29.99 on their website, but when I arrived there they had it at 59.99. The lady manager was especially rude. I showed her on my phone evidence of my claims and she said all she could do was give me a 10% discount (that's 6 dollars off). I showed her that most competitors had it at 29.99 and her answer was "I'm sorry, but I would be losing money if I comply". I told her that this way she would be losing a a customer, and she said "well, I'm sorry". She turned away and left. What is worst is that she remembered me because I used to shop electronics from her department. The previous week I bought a PS3 while she was there helping the cashier. It is incredible that she can keep her job while treating customers like this. I know I will never buy at Target again. read more

I shop here because I work in a building next door and thus it is super convenient. My only complaint has to do with the cashier system. Too often they have two or three people working the dozen or so registers and they are usually slower than all get out on ringing items up. This compared to the swiftness of your typical grocery store cashier. What really burns my pasta is that two or three Target employees, who apparently are of managerial level, will stand by and chit chat while the lines are backed up. I've issued the side eye before, which usually gets the call out for another cashier. Oh and Target's clothing department is atrocious and should be put out of its mercy. read more

My wife and I came here to shop for a few things but we stopped at the refreshment stand to buy some drinks and a pretzel. The service was slow, she forgot our drinks, they were out of lids and a couple of drink types at the dispenser were out. There were dirty and torn demo size cups at the counter that I saw in the same condition a month ago. Also, I had to squeeze myself between the soda machine and a group of employees that saw me waiting on them to move and refused to acknowledge my presence. Ok, so it's a nice clean target... much nicer looking from the inside and the out as compared to the Walmart about equal distance away. However.. the selection is horrid! This must be the smallest and worst laid out target I've ever been to. Now perhaps it was an off day for me at Target... but I was not impressed. Please note this review is only for the pharmacy at this Target.. Danielle at the pharmacy is simply the best pharmacist I have ever worked with.. She goes out of her way to call in insurance request to doctors when other pharmacists drop the ball and I have to end up doing it.. Danielle even remembers my name when I call on the phone and describe the issues as to why I'm calling.. I'm very impressed with the service at this pharmacy, but to be honest this is the type of service I would expect from the major drug stores like Wallgreens or CVS. The problem is I have yet to get anything like the stellar service I've received here at this Target pharmacy compared to the others.. Five Stars read more

Great location and the customer service rep was very helpful without me even asking for help. The registry computer wasn't working and she came and helped me so I could get the registry printed. The cashier was also helpful when I was paying with gift cards and one wasn't working. She was patient and very friendly. I will go here over Wal-Mart any day! read more
