The supply of the store itself is lacking, with many products, like rubbing alcohol or Lysol, hard to find and limited in supply. Called multiple times to multiple departments, INCLUDING GUEST SERVICES and the phone just rings and rings until it finally hangs up on you. Tried the electronics and toy departments too, just trying to find out if they have an item in stock. It shows online that they have one in stock, but after calling another Target (one that actually picked up the phone) they looked for it but the 1 in stock was actually 0. Great customer service at Aliso Viejo, NO SERVICE at this location. Note to managers of this store: You have an advanced phone system that can route calls; how about setting it up to route to someone who will answer if no one picks up in a department? At the very least, it should send it to voicemail; nothing makes a customer feel "like you just don't care" more than the sound of your phone system hanging up on them. read more

It was finally time I wrote a review for Glendale's Target location since this was one of two (Eagle Rock the other) I frequented conveniently close to my parent's house. I normally wouldn't make a point to shop at this store unless I was in the area for something else since the traffic in downtown Glendale has become one hot steaming pile of a mess. So this review was based mostly on that: Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy Movie Combo Packs ($10.00 x 4) - I still bought physical movies which they usually had a surprisingly good selection along with some nice "Target Exclusive" editions. Plus, I swore they sold these at loss-leader prices to attract other purchases throughout the store...but not me. There were interior mall entrances on two levels, long escalators and quick-ride elevators found off to the side, and a decent amount of checkout counters also on two levels. The prescription counter and groceries were on the 2nd Level. Of course, the walls and floor were covered with various ads and POP/POS displays. Natural lighting only came through the 1st-Level street entrance while the rest of the store was electric soul-sucking fluorescent lighting. This review is specifically for the order pick up team. The 2 kid bikes I was looking for were only available at this location within 50 mile radius. Driving into and out of the plaza is a nightmare and the shopping cart wouldn't even allow us to push the 2 large boxes to the car; but the order pick up department was sooooooooo unbelievably efficient that they deserve 5 stars! From the initial call, the lady was professional and courteous. She said she will check with the warehouse if they have the items available and return my call by 11am the next day. She called back within an hour to let me know the bikes are available at their store in 2 hours. Upon arrival, we got in line to pick up the items and were approached almost immediately by a staff with a tablet. Items were located right away and the guy helping us even got our shopping cart and loaded the bikes in while my husband was finishing with the payment. We were in and out within minutes. (Now if only the shopping cart actually carried the bikes to our car instead of my husband carrying 2 oversized boxes by hand) read more

I went to shop at this Target this evening for some groceries. I put two steaks in my basket, and as I was shopping around the store, I noticed a body odor type of smell. At first, I thought that it was the store itself, but as I reached check out, realized that it was the steaks! The steaks smelled so bad that other customers started to smell it in the checkout line. We obviously told the cashier to take the steaks and throw them away, but having the steak rub on our other items in the basket now made our whole bag of groceries smell awful.. Nothing like paying for overpriced groceries, and then walking in the door to wipe them down with Clorox wipes. Will never shop here again. read more

I've been coming to this target a couple years now and It never fails. The bathrooms are always EXTREMELY dirty! Whether you go in the morning when it's not as busy or you go in the evening. The restrooms at this Target are always disgusting, gross, nauseating, revolting, shockingly dirty, toilet paper and seat covers everywhere. TODAY, the first restroom was locked from the inside but I could tell it was clogged and revolting. A lady with her child walked out to used the restrooms at the mall, because the child could not stand the stench. I also shop here often, and I have reported this problem to each and every single manager at this location. Once, one of the managers went as far as to say that the reason why this problem persists it's because homeless people come in to use the restrooms. A Target is a Target, or a Tar-jay or whatever you like to call this kind of place. All the ones I've been to are rather similar, except in size. This Target is 3 stories, which is good at bad. The good is yey, more stuff, right? The bad is not really and could be difficult if you have questions, could be difficult if your cart of stuff gets stuck on the cart escalator, etc. I go to Target for candy, moist cat food (not for me, of course!), face wash (that Neutrogena grapefruit face wash could around $3 CHEAPER than other places!! $6.14 (last time I bought) compared to over $8 (a Ralph's had it for over $10)), and whatever I might need. I don't know how or where they hire these "customer service" employees but whoever is doing the hiring shouldn't be. I've been to this Target many times, sometimes everyday since I work close by and its convenient. But there have been so many times where customer service is beyond dismal. Today I was in line waiting to be check out. I look for an available check out line and made sure the light is on at the register which it was at check out lane #8. I put my items on the conveyor belt and was waiting there for a couple of minutes already when the lovely check out girl turned off the light and told me that she's closed. I asked her what does that mean? Do I have to leave the line? She slyly, surly and with a smile on her face said "yes." So I had to leave the line and stand behind another long line. This was around 2:05pm during my lunch time on December 14th. Her lovely picture is attached in case future employers want to know about her experience and abilities. "Employee of the Year" she is not and will never be with such lack of work ethic and crappy attitude. This experience has made me realize I don't need to spend my hard earn money on a store that doesn't care about its customers. If the managers and executives of this Target doesn't get their act together and train their employees properly, they are going to be out of business sooner than they think. This has to be the worst Target I've ever been to. It's normal for this store to have 100 shoppers and only 2 check out lines open. Tonight, the check out lines wrapped around the store. We looked like we were waiting in a government welfare line for food rations. I got so frustrated waiting, so I put my items down and left the store (as did many others). Why can't you have a few extra cashiers? Is it so difficult to employ 4 extra people? Since Target didn't want to spend $12 on employing an extra cashier, you lost hundreds of dollars from frustrated shoppers who put their items down and went home. How does that make any economical sense??? Not to mention, much of the staff has shitty attitudes. They are so quick to close their check out line and say "I'm closed" while no other lines are open. I work in the Americana so I'm in this location's store pretty much every time I'm scheduled to pick up stuff.I went in today after work to pick up a couple of things and I remembered I had Proctor and Gamble vouchers that for a recall that can be used at Target because I've used one at that same location a few months ago with no issue.The register girl looked confused when I handed her the voucher she went to ask a higher up which also has no clue.They are looking at it like it's some foreign object or something or that I made it myself for a $6 item I told her that all she needed to do was scan it and it should minus out which it did.Then she proceeded to say she had to ask again because she wanted to make sure it wasn't made up?Like really!?!I told her to take off the items because I'm not gonna wait I'll just go elsewhere where they know what they are doing and take care of their customers smh .It was an embarrassing situation and an easy fix.I work in retail so I understand but this was awful.Target needs to do a better job at training their associates and clean that store a bit it's a mess. read more

Free WiFi here is easy to get on and quite fast. This Target has just about the same layout as other Targets with 3 stories. Just an FYI, bring your own bags or you will either have to purchase a bag at the register or carry all of your items to your car sans the bag. read more

COVID-19 is not an excuse to be rude and discourteous!!! Twice this week I had the worst customer experience. On Sunday, 4/29/20, I dropped an envelope with very important information. I retuned to the store and they we closing. I get it. People want to go home, but I asked the Target employee if anyone saw this distinctive document with a pen and he said yes, "it was there on the floor for a while." I except someone to make an effort to retrieve from wherever and then an apparent supervisor came to the door and said "no one found anything!" It was unreal and I felt so violated as if I'd been robbed by Target! Today, I returned, (it my neighborhood Target), to get water and food after getting in late from work (yes, I'm an essential worker). I arrive 15 minutes before closing and there was a line. Typically, most customer oriented establishments honor the presence of people on line before their office time of closure. Not this location. The security was rude and sad "I already explained it to the people on the line before you got here." I asked for a supervisor who said he could not let anyone in the store because his cashiers we're leaving soon. Seriously. He told me to come earlier. I said suppose I was on the line for any hour, he said it would matter. Very disappointing and very inexperienced management in terms of customer service. What happened? 1- the remodel is weird. Things are not with other similar products. Accessories are out here there and everywhere. There is no more purse section. Purses are everywhere. 2- the air conditioning hasn't worked in months. It's noticeably warmer and very uncomfortable compared to the rest of the mall 3- customer service can't understand me. This is the only Target I've ever been to where they have a security guard at the door checking receipts, making everyone feel like a criminal until proven innocent. There are 3 exhausting levels and they still won't have what you need. I got 4 things off my list of 15. They have 2 entire aisles devoted to pets and no basic cat scratching posts-just flimsy corrugated cardboard crap. What they DO have is incredibly expensive. Isn't this Target? Why such high prices for made-in-China garbage? Two stars because their hours are good and they have groceries. If you ever have insomnia, make a list and come here (they're open 'til midnight.) Trying to find things on 3 levels with no employees in sight or helpful signs at the escalators will thoroughly exhaust you in 20 minutes. I bought a plush blanket from Target in Glendale Galleria. When I got home I left the blanket next to my bed to wash later. After two days I noticed they are some insects coming from the blanket and crawling to the floor. I called pest control and confirmed the bugs were carpet beetles, I was told they were going to poison the house and leave for 7 hours. I returned the blanket and I told the customer service at Target and also called the corporate office I was told they were going to investigate. I told customer service person to make sure to do please because I don't want this to happen to other people. After a few days I found the same blankets on the shelf with visible bugs crawling. I was unable to get my prescription, which is dangerous because it has been depleted. He refused to let me speak with the pharmacist. He stated that if I would like to I'm welcome to hold for the next thirty minutes, among other rude and distasteful comments. I have never had such an experience at this location. It is a poor representation of the pharmacist and the store overall. If you are short on medication, please use another pharmacy because you're unlikely to receive proper assistance here. read more

My eyeglasses had been broken for a while and I had planned on going to LensCrafters right next door, but they are "eye exam appointment only" right now. Forgot that Target does eye ware and there was a young lady working behind the counter (7/26). Sorry if I spell her name wrong but I think it was Rosio. She offered to fix my frames, free of charge, and gave me a call when they were done. They are perfect and I can see again :) This has been a crazy year for everyone but it was nice to see someone be kind and happily of service. My experience today was plain awful! I went for trading cards waited in line for 8hrs til store opened and was one of the first customers there and they had very few sports cards and was allowed 1 box of sports card. IT says you are allowing 3 per item and then giving who they choose more products.. Its sad that they can hide for themselves or their employees and take away from customers who wait in line patiently . I witnessed myself the employee giving more to one so called "customer" only and then giving one to the rest which was only 8 boxes for over 30 something people.... They don't only give one big store 8 small individual boxes ???????
