After two previous attempts to return an item at this Target, I suggested we stop by and return the item. There was no one in line. My wife stood in line which is at the front of the store. Another lady making regular purchases stood just behind my wife. The cashier proceeded to say I could help the next person, which the lady behind proceeded to push the cart to the counter. No acknowledgement that my wife was there first. My wife voiced her displeasure. I offered to return the item. During the interaction with the line cutting customer, the cashier proceeded to pitch a Target card, then replied, "I need to make my quota tonight." The other customer needed to wait for something, so the cashier reluctantly said she could take me. She kept scanning the receipt and the item which wouldn't scan. She picked up the item scanned it and slammed the item on the counter. The cashier then pulls out the bills slowly but intentional trying to make a point she is not happy. The whole interaction was very condescending. I have managed customer service teams for many years. This individual forgot the fundamental rule, it is always about the customer and never about yourself. I never thought twice about going to Target, but after this poor display of customer service, I would prefer to pay a premium for better service. If 0 stars was an option that's what this rating would have received. read more

All the employee are suck!!!! Electronic, customer service and the customer service manager. bought 3 enfamil formula today. It says when u buy 3 you get $10 gift card. The guy who rang me up said he deduct it but I was looking at it, it wasn't. So cameback to electronics hoping they just give me the gift card. They said go to customer service so I went there explained what happened and didn't solve the problem. So she called the CSM I guess and the CSM called the LP to watch the camera made sure I didn't walk out with it. I mean just asked the one who ring me up. They had walkie and I had to walk all the way to electronics to get the guy who rang me up. So At that time I don't even need the $10 gift card they can have it. I said keep the $10. Bitchhhhhhhhh Watch ur camera ur self. Next time I'm going there I want my $10 and more read more

I was at this Target on 6/8/17 and I returned today and nothing has changed. I bought the same loaf of Market Pantry white bread for the on sale price of $1.19, however, I was charged $1.49 at the register AGAIN. The employee at the register did not believe me so I showed a picture I took of the white with the correct price. I have spoken to the manager twice about this but no one really seems to care that Target is ripping off its customers. I will now take this to the next level. Thanks. read more

I was a seasonal worker for target in Fairfield I liked the people I worked with but my boss Paula and the human resource leader Courtney were so horrible! I sold red cards like crazy and would never get a good job or thank you! Paula told me that she would "try to keep me another 90 days " after my daughter was sick and had to go to the hospital. She was always rude and yelling at the employees. Courtney told me I could be fired for not clocking out in time for a lunch which I understand but she told me to leave my customers in the middle of a transaction in order to clock out even if I didn't get a person to take over! I see why now nobody wants to work there for long periods of time because the head haunches are unprofessional and obviously hate there job. I will never work for this corporation ever again! It is by far the worst company I have ever worked for! read more

Their guest service has gone down. If you have a question and want an answer good luck getting one! They also treat guests differently if using coupons. I'm not an avid coupon user but the one time I used them they were extremely rude!!! read more

Don't bother calling them. The first time I tried to get thru to electronics just now it sounded like someone picked up then hung up. I refused to believe that so I called back. After three rings it picked up and I heard muffled noise then *click* so the THIRD time I was mad but nothing I can do. I called back and IMMEDIATELY the phone was picked up and put down hard and fast. Fuck you target employees. Thanks to this I will literally NEVER step foot in that store. Not ever. Since they want to hire trash employees they can keep their business. read more

I went to Target today in search of Piggy Paint (a non-toxic baby nail polish) and couldn't find it anywhere. An employee named Jaunita came to my rescue, she looked it up and determined what I needed was not in stock, however it was carried at other stores. She helped me over to the service desk where she filled in two other employee who would be able to tell me where I would be able to make my purchase. Both of the women went to work finding it while I went to change my daughter. When I finished with my daughter one of the employees told me that it was in stock, which aisle it was on, and offered to have someone go get it and hold it until I got there. As I walked back through the store I ran into the other two women and they all made sure I got the information. These three ladies went above and beyond in helping me. I really appreciated it! Sorry I didn't catch the other two women's names! read more

I usually shop and like this store but after the incident that I have encountered today! I think I will never ever coming back to this store again. I purchased a $50 worth of groceries and when I got back home I was missing 1 item worth $7 so I called the store if they have it and the name Davis a store supervisor in the evening said just come to the store and we will investigate. Like I was a criminal. Investigate what!!! But i went anyway, so after they check the survillance camera Davis told me that the cashier put all the items in the bag and he cannot do anything about it.. I told him if i can check the survillance camera myself coz i know the cashier did not put it in my bag. He said no its the company policy that only us can check it, all this trouble for a $7 dollar toothpaste. All the hardearned money i spent in this store and i did not get the atleast a good reason or excuse about my complain as if i stole or lost the item myself. I was so disappointed coz this is the first time it happen to me and the way he talk to me as if i was lying and or i lost the f---ing item myself, the bag is deep and i only have 2 bags so how can i lost that item! So stupid! Ok I know customer service because that is also my job. But target employees they are rude and nasty! The cashier and the supervisor Davis! I dont want to see them in my store or else they will get what they deserve! You cannot work in a retail service if you dont know anything about customer service! idiots! read more

Paula in Customer Service was amazing today!!!! I was in a hurray as I needed to get back to work from lunch and my pin was invalid for my Red Card. She helped me get the process going to update my pin # so I could get back to work. She also helped me get my order reprocessed at the snack bar in a speedy fashion! Hurray for Paula!!! Life would be awesome if we had more like Paula in the workplace!! read more

Don't know why I ever go to this target. They never have what I am looking for and you can never find anyone who works there. Today I waited for someone to help me after I used one of those red customer service phones (it was a ghost town in there) and not one person showed up to help me. Useless. The target in Vallejo is a much better store. read more

While shopping tonight the power went out across the store. Which meant as we all stood in line the registers slowly rebooted... And I must give target their props, they came around to all of the customers and handed out coupons and candy because we had to wait.. Go target! read more

I am beyond pissed off! I ordered a 49ers sweater on Mon 9/16 ONLY because they gave me the time frame that the sweater will be here which are, Tue 9/17- Thu 9/19 and the football game i am going to is this Sunday 9/22. So I check the status of my order today Thursday the 19th and they tell me it won't be here until next week 9/24! What really made me furious is the fact that they didn't give two shits! The only reason I even ordered a sweater from there is because they told me it would be here in time for me to wear it at the game. Now i have no 49ers sweater and I have to go out of my way again to go to the mall and buy an expensive one! THANKS FOR NOTHING! Never again! Cannot trust them! They wouldn't even give me a 10% off my next purchase for THEIR mistake! read more

I found that items were marked down with signs but at the register they rang up at a higher price- this was on several items in the cosmetics section. It really bummed me out because I had a gift card and could only spend that amount. I should have taken the time to complain but I was in a hurry so I had the cashier remove a couple items so I could remain under the amount on my gift card. read more

I was overcharged on a pack of hand towels. The lazy stupid checkout clerk didn't care enough to correct her mistake.I did not realize until I got home that she scanned the pack of towels twice . Awesome store nice and clean, friendly helpful staff. I always come here for everything pretty much it's convenient close to home.

another terrible experience with Target in Fairfield, I wish I had another choice of store for my pet and cleaning supplies. their prices are good, but their customer service super lacking. long story is I left my purse at work on friday , but I needed cat food, litter and bathroom supplies urgently over the weekend, so I went home and picked up my check book and my passport so I could pay that way since my debit card and Drivers license were at work (out of town) till Monday when I go back. started out with the cashier not knowing what a passport was. after two failed attempt to process my check she sent me to customer service. after a cashier there failed , I asked for the manager and she tried and failed, so I really wanted to know what was wrong (plenty of funds always so I knew that was not it, plus I had just used my check book at kaiser with no problem) I asked if she could explain, she proceed to super confidently tell a story about how the number of my check was to small in the sequence of checks last cashed there and that it was their way of dealing with fraud??????. so after two attempts at trying to make me understand what was not making any sense, I asked her if she could please answer a question honestly before I left. my question was "do not know what you are doing or do you not care to find out how to solve this problem, because I am not stupid or mentally challenged and I can't grasp your the reasoning behind this blurp. her response, so sorry miss that we could not help you with your purchase this evening. worst customer service ever, I often wonder who is running the store. and bonus, I noticed an employee who was shopping (had her purse in cart and cleaning supplies, unlock the cabinet with facial creams and help herself to three jars of, when the kid came to help me get an item from that locked cabinet, I told him I was going to ask her to help me but seemed weird that she was shopping of duty and had a key. he simple shrugged. internal theft is your problem Target, not people paying with a CHECK. wondering what your check cashing policy is. I will try and find out, but just like my last bad experience I will most likely get the run around. check out a yelp from Phillip W. same stuff, terrible customer service. want to fight, go to target. read more

Today, I went to Target to purchase items for the holiday clothing toy drive. I am very disappointed with Target's lack of ethnic dolls and cultural sensitivity. The selection is 90% Caucasian and does not reflect the ethnic diversity of Fairfield. Even the Barbie like dolls that had darker skin tones had Caucasian features. The lack of ethnic dolls, Hispanic, Asian, Indian and Afro American gives a clear message to children who are not Caucasian that Target does not value them sufficiently to seek out vendors that provide dolls that will reflect the cultural diversity of the Fairfield area. Ditto for their parents who are seeking dolls that reflect their cultural heritage. Iam interested in Senior issues and its amazing that no grandparent dolls are offered. Either its baby dolls or teenage dolls but no adult or senior dolls. What about dolls for disabled children? Or children in wheel chairs? read more

Horrible customer service! I went into to do some day after Christmas shopping with a gift card that I received. I was in the Electronics department for ten minutes before I had to hit the button for assistance. At least 3 Target employees saw me standing next to the memory cards waiting, they all just walked away didn't bother asking if I needed help. One girl was standing around texting on her cell phone. When a gentleman asked her about speakers for mp3 players and cell phones she had no idea what he was asking for. Her response "Um...I'm not sure but I think we have them over here..." the girl that finally did help me get the memory card I needed didn't know if they had any for the Leapsters. Which was fine, I can always come back once I know what one it takes, but as she is ringing up my purchases, she drops my gift card once, picks it up scans it to pay then puts it down in their draw at the bottom without first checking to make sure I didn't have a balance left over. Which I did. Then today I am trying to purchase items online with the remainder balance and find out that she gave me the wrong gift card back! So I call the store. I am transferred 7 different times before I get sent back to customer service and to a manager. They tell me the guy that reviews the tapes will be in at 11 am and to come in after that. So I take extra time off work, besides my lunch time to drive over there and their excuse is that he is running behind and to come back later. And to call first and make sure he is there. I don't understand why the store manager cannot review the tapes. read more

Just visited this location trying to find an item that has been posted clearance. I first went to the location in Vacaville looking for the Threshold 4 cube organizer in gray. It was originally $39.99 but was ringing up as $11.98! The Vacaville store was sold out but said the Fairfield store had 4 in stock for the same price. I called Fairfield to put 4 on hold. They had to be grabbed from the stockroom and were left at customer service. I tried to ask a couple questions to make sure he found the right ones, but he hung up on me. When I got to Fairfield I had a cashier begin to ring me up. She commented on how they were selling so well because they were at such a great price, hence why they had none on the floor and had to retrieve them from the stockroom. They rang for $34.99 (only on sale for $5 off). That could not have been right, especially when I had the item number and they matched. Someone went to the sales floor to double check the price advertised but was unable to find their location. He suggested we go to customer service to see if they would make the price adjustment. When we were on our way there, another team member walked by and commented how those organizers were so cheap and even stated the price when he saw them, which was "like 12 bucks rights?!" The first girl I talked to at customer service was very nice but had to get a manager to make that override. FERNANDO, apparently a manager, said he would "deal with it". He simply rang them up and said they were not on sale (and also as if they were never on sale) and was not going to make the price adjustments. He said just because they were on sale at another location does not mean they would be at their location. I quickly explained that more than one person in YOUR store has commented on the fact that these were selling like crazy because they were so cheap. He was also very quick to question where and who was telling me they were on sale as if I was lying or wouldn't point them out. The cashier I pointed out told him it was possibly a different color and he would not look them up to see if he had any in stock. I don't understand how the associates in your own store are commenting/selling and obviously seeing an item sell out due to the great price, which is why I had to have someone pull them from the stockroom and the price is not honored?! If the items were not on sale then how were the 2 other employees able to make those price adjustments for other customers and no manger knew about it? Something just does not add up. I did not appreciate FERNANDO's attitude and unwillingness to even help me and seeming more interested in just proving me wrong. read more
