Nice clean store and I can't say that it's ever been packed any of the times that I've visited. The parking lot is huge and the store is always clean. A good majority if the time I can find the stuff I need to buy, rarely are the out of stock of the things I need. This Target is always very clean and organized. I love coming here even though it's not my local Target. There's always plenty of parking and the staff here are friendly and attentive. This Target is pretty big and has a large variety. I feel like I find more things here than at other Targets, like things I haven't seen at other ones. Anyway, I really enjoy this Target and recommend it. Basically sat around waiting to go down an aisle where 3-4 employees were berating another employee. So I just left, if you're going to have a meeting like that don't take up a whole aisle or do it on the sales floor. They kept harassing a Hispanic worker, I overheard HR, so I'm assuming they're involved. I can understand why. Seems like a hostile work environment, I get it's retail and corporate comes up with their bullshit goals. I am a manager in a grocery store and would never talk to fellow employees and my subordinates like this. The lady seemed like a real bitch and when the lady they were harassing answered something on her radio and went to another aisle the group followed her. So bad... worst customer service. Ok, I've experienced so many times of this issue. But previously they do politely say they don't know and trying to help me search for it, and if we couldn't find it they say sorry. This is totally fine. BUT TODAY, there's this guy, I asked him "would you mind tell me where this item is?", and he just glanced and said "oh, I don't know" and then went away. I'm like??? You are literally standing by my side, so it's my convenience to ask for help right? I don't have to walk away and find the searching sign and search for my item. You don't have to know the location but couldn't you be a little bit polite? Plus, I seen so many times that these workers DO NOT wear a mask... One of the employees that was working at the self check out was being so rude and talking to the other employee next to her accusing me and my toddler for stealing 3 cases of drinking waters. Like really?! She is an Indian lady thinks she is top class or is the manager which I know for a fact she isn't! She should of asked me about it first before accusing a customer. Had not been here for awhile, they had done such a poor job with curbside delivery. 1/3 of my order not in cart. Noticed immediately. But told no its there. Got out to double check no it wasn't Target refused to fill rest of order said I had to go inside to customer service. I couldn't, thats why I was using curbside. So today went inside store. Enjoyed the experience, mostly. But they have spoiled produce, tomatoes covered in mold, and lunchmeat salami a whole shelf a sick pale color clearly rotten. Then I get home go to feed my cat, the entire box of cat food, wet food, is spoiled. The individual packets puffed up. And one exploded inside the box. The smell us so bad. I give up on trying to decipher what things are on sale because their signage is so poor! There are signs all over the place in women's sportswear... today, i'm getting angry enough to post. So the sign stated the prices of 14.99, and 16.99 tanks on sale for 12.00. I go up to the register and it rings up regular price! I thought I was going to purchase one of the three yellow tanks that were left... was right under the sign and was the exact description of what was posted on the sign. Really?! Hi! This review is actually for the Starbucks inside this Target. I witnessed a hostile customer who was, in my opinion, behaving aggressively towards the two baristas working there. After his order was completed he threatened to complain to their manager. I didn't get the baristas' names, but I want to say that they were not the problem, they were great! This is the worst place for online order in store pickup. There are two sections in the same counter, one for returns and the other for in store pickup. Both sections were doing returns! After a long wait, I finally decided to leave. DO NOT order online to pickup at Dublin. Go to San Ramon - the return and in store pickup sections are in different parts of the store so you are not stuck waiting in line. In store pickup at Dublin is the worst! read more

I love love love reviewing places in San Ramon/Dublin/Pleasanton area because I grew up here and these were the places I always went to before I moved down to San Diego. I recently came back to NorCal but I live in the North Bay now so it's a far drive. Damn this Target is a classic! I remember when this was the only Target in the area back in the 90s before they opened Greatland Target in San Ramon! OMFG that long ago! This Target is definitely outdated but it's still near and dear to me! They only have a Target concession stand here, they don't have a Starbucks nor Pizza Hut like other Targets do. I was hoping they would have added one to this store by now. Fun Target Stories: 1.) Target had this contest back in 1996 or 1997 and you just drop your name off in a raffle type of thing and we won a ginormous teddy bear! It was maybe 4 or 5 feet tall and I think it used to be the Target unofficial mascot. It was called the Redwood Bear, very similar to Smokey the Bear. Anywho, that used to be the centerpiece in the bedroom I shared with my sister when we were kids. LOL 2.) Okay, here's a another story. Again, this was in the 90s, I believe it was 1999 or something like that, so I was in elementary school. There was an employee here whose name was Ramona. She was an elderly lady and when I saw her name on her name tag I told her that we shared the same name. She asked me if I liked bowling because she had something to give me. She took our phone number down and a few days later she called and told my mom that she wanted to give me a bowling ball that had "Ramona" engraved onto it. I guess she was in a bowling ball league or something like that and she had moved onto a different size ball and didn't know who to give that ball to :) I still have that purple "Ramona" bowling ball somewhere ! I forgot all about that story until now! I wonder how Ramona is doing now... anyone at Target know? Overall I like this store very much. I live very close and have shopped here regularly. One consistent issue I do have is the fact that the ice cream is being left out of refrigeration for too long and refrozen. You can tell as soon as you grab a carton, it has air pockets around the container. I realize the person stocking the frozen food has alot to stock but the ice is compromised very quickly if allowed to thaw. My suggestion is to stock it before any other frozen items to minimize the time it sits on the pallet out of the freezer. read more

PICKUP review (online ordering); Complete waste of time. Might as well grab what you need on your own, saves you time. They have 2 lines that are clearly marked for pick up orders then one is for returns. Plus a big sign at a designated register for pick up. With the worst attitude I was told "there's only one line". I told her why I was in the correct line and she didn't apologize or anything. Stood behind return people then (since she wouldn't service me) and when I finally got up to her, she fidgeted with the hand held computer for so long I could of gone and gotten the item and came back. Target is amazing. I recently have become a fan of their clothing department. The quality is always great, and prices reasonable. Since El Nino came to town my wardrobe was in dire need of a new winter coat. Being from Bakersfield, this is a completely new concept. Who needs a winter coat? A thick sweater, long pants and you're good to go! This was not the case with the past few weeks of freezing temps. Luckily, this Target is a real gem. While it may not look like it from the outside, the number of good deals to be had inside far outweighs it's micro selection. Typically I'm struggling to find items I both like and fit in the clearance section. I ended up scoring two coats that were long gone in other store. So I've had friends that have told me that they've had issues with security because of their color. I'm someone of color too and had never had a problem. I shop here often! Recently though, within the past week, I went to purchase a pressure cooker. First off, they have ones on display that they don't even have in stock. Second, the ones they did have in stock are clearly opened in damaged boxes. I was in a bind and needed on that day so I ended up picking one up that looked like it might be ok. I went to the cashier closest to the door were the security guy was standing. I paid with my debit card and still had it out as I walked towards the door. Two white ladies with carts full of small kitchen appliances and other things walked across him without him taking a second look. You can probably guess what happened... He stops me to check my receipt. Really? You can clearly see that I just came from the register and was still holding my debit card out where I was holding the box. In fact, I noticed he was watching me as I was paying. Ok fine, it's a security thing for them to want to check but why just me? That is just wrong. Those two white ladies came from beyond where he could see. They could have just walked right in front of him with entire carts full of merchandise. I would have been fine if he had been checking everyone's receipts but he didn't. read more

The tub was only $18 and I also purchased this foam gadget that looks like she might need it, and that was around $6 or so, so for both items was under $30! I'm sure Babies R Us would be more expensive if I went there. Thank God I stopped in here first! It's so funny how people treat you when they assume you have a baby. Everyone at work pitched in to buy an artificial christmas tree to bring in the holiday spirit. We ended up mustering up about $35. So I went online onto www.target.com and searched for an inexpensive artificial christmas tree. I found a very basic one that is 4' tall and pre-lit. It cost $30 online and some stores have it in stock for the same price. I decided to go to the one in Dublin. I asked the guest department to see if they had one in stock. After searching for a few minutes, they found one that's 4'6" tall and it cost $80. They said that's the closest thing they have in stock. I asked the clerk if she could price match or at least bring it down a little bit since they didn't have the other one in stock. She said she would ask her manager but it's up to him. She asked the manager, and the manager agreed to bring it down to $30. I was in my military uniform (Army) and stationed down the street at Camp Parks. The manager and clerk both thanked me for my service to this country and said the discount is the least they could do for all the sacrifices that all service-members make to keep this country safe. It really meant a lot to me so I had to write a review. I will continue to shop at this location because of the friendly and compassionate staff. You know what really made this Target stand out? The fact that they charged for bags. I'm a large proponent of reusable bags and always do my best to make sure I keep a few in the car for each trip to the grocery store, Target, etc. The fact that the entire state of California is pushing for reusable bags in their stores in huge. Props to Target for spearheading this. Also, the bathrooms at this Target are stellar. Perfect for the weary road traveler in need of a good "rest." Other than that, it's plain Jane, good ol' Target. I like coming here to get the essential things i need, especially if i don't want to go out to walmart. There's 2 convenient locations i can go to, but i prefer this one over the A street one in Hayward. The one thing i did notice about Target, is that they're prices seem to keep going up little by little, making me not wanting to spend my money. When they put in groceries, i was actually excited for it, to be able to buy cheaper items than a real grocery store, but to my surprise it's basically the same price, and more then half the time all the produce and items in the section are GONE! it's like they don't know how to restock their shelves when it comes to fresh groceries and produce. It's sort of irritating. So for now i will stick to my grocery store for groceries and here for just the essentials. read more

I actually like this Target a lot. I am always able to find all of my essentials here. They are even growing the amount of gluten free products they carry which is nice and you can get them quite a bit cheaper here than some of the other natural grocers. Mediocre service, good selection blah blah blah................................. Wait........ what's this............ Cheap bikes, bike accessories, videogames that are in stock? The DVDs i want? Electonics that i want? MAGIC CARDS!?!?!?! (HEY SHUT UP I LIKE CARD GAMES ALRIGHT) What's more, I've been in here for over 30 minutes and have encountered nothing sticky. Good Times. HOWEVER i do have a beef with their security. I bought a bike from Target and everything was fine. The bike was like 50 bucks and i felt that it was a steal. Unfortunately, so did the security guard. As i was walking out the door the guard stopped my mom and I and asked for a receipt. COME ON. You've got a middle-aged asian lady and her fat, smiling son walking out the door WITH A BIKE. I started to use the Target pharmacy in Dublin about 7 years ago when my mother was diagnosed with cancer since I had to pick up a lot of her prescriptions. The staff at that time through 2010 when my mother eventually passed away was absolutely amazing. They were sensitive,empathetic, and genuinely caring. Several of them even attended my mother's funeral. Based on the quality of service, I chose to have my own prescriptions filled at this location. I was even more impressed when their staff asked how my father was coping when I was at the store. Just like most businesses, there has been staff turnover that has taken a dramatic turn for the worse over the past 2 years that included their head pharmacist. Today when I picked up a refill order, I was told I could not purchase additional non-pharmacy items exceeding five and instructed to go to the front of the store to pay for them. When I told the pharmacy clerk that I only had seven additional items she said they made no exceptions and insisted that I pay for them at the front of the store. Now, I give them 4.5 stars simply because there are still some bigger, nicer Targets to compare to. But overall any Target is hands down better than any of their competition. The store is bright, clean, and modern. There is a great selection of merchandise, especially for the small to medium size of this particular location. Had to make a quick run to this Target today because my daughter lost an earring at Super Franks and since her ears are newly pierced she can't go without an earring for too long. I took one of my diamond studs out and put it in her ear but then realized, hmm, she has just lost an earring at Super Franks, maybe not the best idea to give her a diamond stud...so off to the nearest Target we went. We went straight to the jewelery department and stood around for a good 4-5 minutes. I kept trying to make eye contact with the manager walking around the registers to no avail. Then I noticed they have a little red box on the counter that says "press this button for help". I'm nearly positive they have a camera aimed on here just to see how many times a person will push this button before they realize it does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING....so another 5 minutes go by and I start to lose my cool. We're now a good 30 minutes into what should be my 2 year olds nap and I just want buy some damn ladybug earrings and get my diamond stud back! So at this point I kind of shout-since I don't want to drag my kids all over the store to find help and I don't want to leave them alone at the jewelery counter-to the manager walking around the registers, "Can we get some help in jewelery?" Ok, probably not in the nicest of tones... So a woman comes and she starts treating us like we're going to rob her of their $15 sterling silver earring sets. She asks me to point to which one we want, turns the display away from us, unlocks it, pulls out the one we want to see, and then locks it again...this goes on for about 3 different sets when I finally just ask if she'll please come over to our side of the counter. FRUSTRATING! I mean it's not like we're at Tiffany asking to see $500,000 engagement rings. So eventually we get our earrings-a triple set of a ladybug, bumble bee, and daisy, if you must know and head to check out. Check out was pretty painless but then I hear a chorus of "I gotta go pee pee!!" so we head to the bathroom. WOW! Talk about a tornado!! This is at about 2pm on a Tuesday and the place is THRASHED. I'm talking toilet paper holders wide open with full rolls of toilet paper all over the floor. Paper towels all over the place, soap all over the counter. Ok, so I could have just missed a school bus of wild animals but in reality, I just don't think they were keeping up with the maintenance of the bathroom. I am not one to get skeeved, and this didn't really skeeve me, but it was pretty nasty. So, will I never return again? Na, if I'm in that area and I need something, I'm sure I'll go in. But do I love it like the San Ramon Target where I can spend hours just going up and down each aisle? Na. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Waiting a half hour for one thing on a registry is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Your registry iPads didn't work! Then when I asked for help instead of helping me the guy helped everyone in line until the end before he asked a girl name Erin to help me, when then she went to the back to print it out for another 15 mins I finally asked someone else to check on her where she replied over a radio that the printer wasn't working. After finally having to call both people on the registry and finding out what they wanted and RUINING the surprise of what I was buying. I'm walking out of the store, the only helpful lady (who asked for Erin on the radio) told me someone bought one part of the carrier. Thanks to her ONLY. read more

i have always had a love for shopping at target even though it did take over my childhood favorite, GEMCO. i would give 5 stars but it doesn't quite make the cut as target greatland in san ramon. it's also way too dangerous for me to get anything here because a lil something turns out to be a big something on my credit card. they have everything i need and more of what i don't need but i tend to buy anyway. friendly staff and the shelves are always stocked full of goodness. thank god this place closes at 10pm or I'd be soooo damn broke. they have grocery and everything you would expect from a target store. if they sold jager and cigs i would live there!! lol read more
