One of the nicest Targets I've been to. I seemed to find a lot more stuff here than I thought I needed. Which is both good and bad. I saw some cute things here I don't recall seeing at other Target locations. Some of the seasonal aisles were a little narrow and crowded, but I do kinda like that whole "elbowing others out of the way so I can score the bargain" feeling, so it worked out. read more

I have a love-hate relationship w/ Target now. Before it was a cool place to get stuff for the house but now that baby #1 is on the way...I found out that their baby selection is very poor. First, they have too much of Winnie the Pooh baby stuff. It's cute but I'm tired of Pooh Bear. And then when I'm trying to find something for a registry, it's usually all gone. I spent 1 hour looking for clothes from someone's registry and everything was sold out. And she registered only a few wks ago. If you register for anything here...BEWARE! Their bedding collection rotates frequently so what you have on your registry will probably be on clearance in 2 months. Babies R Us gives me a headache because there is just an abundance of everything that you don't know where to start but at least you have lots of choices. *Sigh* read more

Blarg Target, just blarg! I love you so and on any other occasion I would be giving you a five star review hands down! But now that you're under construction I am forced to go to San Ramon. All your grocery isles are so small you can't fit a cart down them and when I went to check out with my 9 items, you only had two checkers for almost 25 people in line. Yet there were 13 employees hanging around the break room or in the grocery isles stocking. At least you finally got rid of the people who beg for change outside for the "school fundraiser" or "magazine subscriptions" Your corporate policy of no solicitors keeps me away fro Wal-Mart. Going to target means I want convenience and cleanliness. This target meets those goals. I switched to using target as my pharmacy and it's been great. Their prices for generics are better than what I got at cvs. They have texting and auto refill programs that work well and are easy to enroll. They are timely and helpful. No complaints so far. read more

I love target. It's like a poor man's costco: fun to browse but no samples. I like that they have very basic clothing for cheap that isn't too jazzed up, meaning they didn't add ruffles on everything (why do designers do that?). I like that they get designers to make stuff specifically for their stores that's stylish and practical in the housewares section. I like that I can look around at video games and on my way out pick up some shampoo, which is cheaper than the drug store. The archer farms food selection is varied and pretty good. The people are helpful and are willing to walkie talkie each other to help you, and waiting in line never takes forever. Go for you basic needs, linger for the fun. Did I mention they had a whole Domokun thing going on during Halloween? This is how cool target is. read more

Right next to Hobby Lobby, Burlington, and behind Savers Thrift store, this is my go-to spot when in town. For any mommy shopper, this plaza is gold. I am Targets biggest fan. Love it, love it, love it. What I hate, is your new return policy. My apologies for having two kids and receiving gifts for birthdays, baptisims, Christmas etc. Now I can only return up to $100 worth of stuff a year without my receipt? I'm sorry, but I'm Mexican. Dublin Target, Please do not force me to leave you for Target Greatland in San Ramon. After my experience with you yesterday, I almost pulled my hair out. I just needed some milk and a couple other necessities, and you are always the convenient, cheap option. I understand that you are under remodel, but I pray that the new positioning of the shelves in your grocery aisles are not permanent. There is only about 2.5 feet space in the aisles. Meaning, you can barely fit 1 cart down AND it is impossible to share an aisle with another customer. I tried my best to take care of my business as quickly as possible, but instead was consumed by torture. Please fix, or I am sure myself, and others will not be returning. read more

Say what you will about the corporate machine, that is, Target but I can't get enough of this store! I usually come in bright and early on Sunday mornings to check out what's what. But, I have also been known to go out of my way to come here as opposed to the Target in my neighborhood. Why? Because the place is massive, but not overwhelming. The aisles are easy to navigate, items are easy to find, and the sales associates are really helpful (except for that one guy in electronics but hey no hate here). I was looking to buy a FitBit and asked to try one on because I didn't want to get the wrong size and also just wanted to feel it out. The rep said I could try it on and reference me to an obscure sizing chart. She said the only way I could try it on was to buy it and then return it if it didn't fit. How efficient. If there was a cagematch between Target and Walmart ( I know you can picture it ) Target would enhiliate Walmart in the first round. Target is so much the better store; it doesn't destroy the economy in small towns, and promotes its female staff. Also Target has better products, higher quality merchandise, a superb website and a better selection. This target is no exception; this is where we picked up a toolbox and some tools for our apartment for $20. This is where my husband buys his razor blades (as they are much cheaper here then at the grocery store). The lightbulbs are cheaper too! And this is where we found a new high coffee table to go with our tall sofa. I bought my Christmas tree here 2 years ago and it still looks new. I usually check out the website before I go in which conviently lets me know if the item I'm insterested in is at the store. This is a nice location, there is a larger store in San Ramon but this has one has had everything I was looking for, the staff are fine and have always helped me. Target's the best! read more

Target has never let me down before. But alas, it had to happen sometime. This particular Target has slowly been climbing down from five stars to three. Today was the last straw. My boss bought a bubble machine for the school, and it broke after two uses. So, I took it, and the receipt to Target to exchange it. The lady behind the counter got pissy with me about how I didn't empty the bubbles out of it. (FYI lady behind the counter... It had bubbles in it when it was purchased.) She told me I had to empty it out, and when I went to go take it to empty it, she got even angrier, and told me "Never mind! I'll just deal with it." Then sh told me that I had no respect for her, and her job... WAIT a second... that was totally uncalled for, and I was willing to empty the bubbles, SHE changed her mind. Then she went through the return transaction and threw my money at me. She is so lucky I didn't climb over the counter and do something drastic! This isn't the first time I've had poor service at this Target either... I'm going to start avoiding it at all costs! read more

This store fits our needs and is pretty close to home so we do lots of shopping there. We would give it more stars except that we have been noticing something that is beginning to sour our appreciation of the place: About a year or two ago they started selling groceries. It was a new concept, groceries at Target, and I suppose to lure customers from the traditional grocery stores, they had very low prices. The selection was small and the Market Pantry store brand was a bit inferior, but that could be overlooked for the great deals. Recently we've been noticing that the prices have inched up more and more to the point where they match the grocery stores or even are more expensive in some items. Since they never carry meat and their produce and dairy sections were inadequate, we still have to go to a traditional grocery store anyway. With the price increases I guess we'll go to Target less often now. Two years ago we would've given it 4 or 5 stars, but due to increased prices, not just with groceries, but with everything, its often just as convenient to shop elsewhere. read more

Ok, I this is a bit long, bear with me.. I bought an apple iTunes Giftcard for my husband the day before Valentine's Day. $100 and got it right off the rack of gift cards in west Dublin target. When my husband opens the sealed apple Giftcard at home, there is no code or anything inside, just an apple colored logo that shows in the cutout in the front. We tried every number in the card to redeem it, no dice. I go back to target the day after valentines and explain how we just need the code that was missing from the card, they can't help us as they have no idea of the code - checked receipts and if there was any trace in their system, and since they aren't the manufacturer, target customer service tells me to contact Apple and if all else fails, gives me the number for the corporate Giftcard dept at target. Spend a while on chat with Apple- they can't help and said "if you bought from us, we'd have your code but since you bought from target, you have to go to them", call target HQ, another hour and finally get someone very helpful and explains they don't get the code, it comes direct from Apple manufacture, she suggests I call Apple HQ like I did her and see if I can find someone in charge to find our code. Call Apple, spend 3.5 hours on the phone through two reps and 2 supervisors, they can tell the funds haven't been used on the barcoded Giftcard but don't have the capability to tell me the code - just $100 lost to the ether. I was in tears by the end of this call reexplaining my situation and having taken 12 pictures of the Giftcard showing that no, no code was included. They suggested I call the police despite assuring them the card was sealed. I called the local target, explained my situation to a manger (because at the whole day being eaten up I was tired) and a manager said he would get in touch with his IP manager(?) and let me know by tomorrow - a week goes by and no call back and I finally bring up the courage to go back to target, ask the customer desk for the manager I spoke with by name - he's off today, so she asks what my need is and I explain he was supposed to speak with his special person and she says: I'm that person! (Huzzah!) I show her the receipt, explain all of the situation, show her the card - she opens another Giftcard at the rack just like mine, inside is a paper insert which slides out, with the same sticker mine has - only hers is stuck ON the paper insert, whereas mine was stuck on the inside of the paper packaging!!! This for sure was a manufacture defect, we didn't even know the colored apple logo was actually a sticker so it was in place. The IP manager gave me the one she opened that had a code , activated it and sent me on my way. TLDR: I didn't expect the big box store to take care of me like they did, but they sure have great people and was a bit disappointed at how apple treated me since it's reasonable to assume the fault was theirs. Just speculating that apples protection against fraud has no accounting of manufacture/printing defects. read more

This target has been around since I was a kid (at least 15 years from my memory) back when the library was where the senior citizen center is now. They have a small food court area but no Starbucks inside like the newer targets do. They also have not upgraded to self checkout yet. The lines at this target during the day can have you waiting 15-20 minutes to checkout and they usually only have 2-3 registers open which slows down the lines when there are over a dozen families waiting to be checked out. This store sells a little of everything from clothing, groceries, cosmetics, house cleaning supplies and a pharmacy. My dad came here for about a year for his insulin since he has diabetes but switched over to Walmart when he realized targets pharmacy cost more than going to Walmart or CVS/Walgreens. If you come in the evening you may notice the store might look closed even though it's not. It seems like they try to close as early as possible to avoid anyone from causing them to be open a few minutes past closing. read more

She is such a nice lady. She went up and beyond with her service. She explained the great discounts Target has to offer with the application and coupons. This is a review mostly of their little cafe. We stopped for food only because my son was hungry. The selection of food was VERY limited. I chose between chicken fingers, hot dog and pizza. I got the pizza - and it was the type of pizza where the sauce oozed out of the cheese because there was too little cheese and too much sauce. It was a frozen pizza that they unwrapped and put in a little oven that burned the pizza a bit. It was cheap - $4.50 I think, but it's not something that I'd get again. Actually, I just won't bother eating here again. It's definitely not as nice as the little cafe inside the Target in San Ramon. read more

Targets come in all shapes and sizes. All types of cleanliness, staff, quality of goods, and how well the aisles are ordered. This one is in the 'burbs. This store probably deserves more stars. Frankly I go here only when I have to which is not very often. The people who work here are friendly enough (at least at the register. If you are looking for help however, finding someone can prove difficult) and the products are middle of the road or a step above Walmart. I'm never excited to be shopping here. I don't think that's a reflection on Target but more about my expectations. Shopping here, at least for me, involves a more hunter/gatherer mentality: Find it, buy it, bring it home and let the wife know I've obtained the objective...and there's very little thrill in that. read more
