Clean, spacious, and you can almost always find parking on the side of the store. I often visit the baby area to buy formula. This particular section is always clean and fully stocked. I checked out in line and forgot to scan my Cartwheel wallet, so I went back (literally, less than 3 seconds later) and the employees had locked me out and were miming through the glass doors that the store was closed. I was JUST inside, I'm two steps away from the door, waving receipt in hand to show I'm not a new customer (even though they already knew that...). Finally someone comes to some side door, it's raining and I'm standing outside with my stuff -- I asked the guy to scan my phone for the Cartwheel Discounts and coupons (the whole reason I came to Target tonight) and he claims he cannot--he said I need to come back tomorrow with my items and stand in line at customer service for the price change. Are you kidding me? It's one minute passed closed, I don't even have both feet out the door - I spent my money /checked out less than 3 minutes ago now and some teenagers just trying to race home are telling me that I need to waste my time and gas to come all the way over here to the sticks (again) for something so small as a barcode read. I'm upset, and I'm disrespected. I shop here all the time, but you better believe this will be the last. There are way better Targets in this area, do not waste your time at this dump. read more

I am so excited the new Target is open! I have been waiting for quite a while and it's so close. I initially went for the soft opening, it wasn't that packed. But today was the Grand Opening and it was CRAZY! There were so many people and the lines were long but the store was nice and shiny, fully stocked and beautiful! Love Target, this store is nice, big and clean. I usually stop here for last minute items when I drop my kids off for babysitting... I noticed that they sometimes have more of a variety of kids clothing compared to my local Target, so I always make sure to browse through that section! They have a nice little Starbucks cafe in the front of the store, which is always a plus. read more

If I need to run to Target on my lunch break, this is the location I will come to. It's nice and new, but the layout is different than the Livermore store, which is where I mostly shop. I saw some swim items on a clearance rack during this particular trip. It was questionable whether they were really on clearance because none of the actual items were tagged individually. But there were quite a few of the same items on this rack marked clearance (all swim stuff). Upon checking out, I asked the cashier Debbie to check the price. They rang up normal price. She asked where I found the item and what did the rack say, I explained to her my findings, and she asked another employee to check it out. He came back to confirm my findings with her, but I don't think they're going to move anything off of that clearance rack that's not on clearance. That is kind of irritating. I work nearby and always find a reason to come to this target several times a month. It is consistently clean and easy to navigate. The staff is so friendly!! I went in today to buy an ipad which was out of stock, the team member Jayson ( that's how he spelled it) went out of his way to call several stores and help me locate what I was looking for. Terrible customer service! Bad experience. Went to buy baby products for my first child. Tried to use gift cards received over the holidays. The teller scratched off my $100 gift card to hard removing the number. The card wouldn't scan because of the adhesive on the bar code. To make a long story short, they wouldn't except my $100 gift card that they sold and they ruined. Payed for the items and vowed never to shop at any target again!! read more

This Target locates in East Dublin. I read comments online before I went to there. I was hoping it's huge but it's not beyond my expectation. It's a average size. It's not that big maybe I saw bigger one. They don't have many choices on dress, which disappointed me a little. But the good thing is you don't see too many people here. read more

I was with my mother while doing an exchange, she had to swap sizes, anyhow she had about 4 items that she wanted to buy after the even exchange of clothes and she asks in a very rude manner "uh how many thing do you have?" The store is great. But, the pharmacy since their wonderful pharmacist Purnia has left, it has been a mess. They had a pharmacist, Kim, fill in who was great, she was very knowledgeable and courteous. She now only comes in on as needed basis. But, the main pharmacist now is Stephanie who is cranky and and not much knowledge. Makes you fee uncomfortable to ask a question. I purchase a lot of medication. I have been very tempted to switch pharmacies to Walmart or CVS and may do so very soon just because of her. The techs are great though. read more

I went to SAn Ramon target looking for a Fitbit charge hr in black size large. They were out of stock so I asked them to check nearby stores. They said target Dublin east on Fallon had 2. I called target on Fallon and a young man in electronics answered the phone. I told him what I was looking for and he seemed pretty confused. He abruptly said no we don't have it. I think Target is going down on there customer service levels. As a General Manager for a high end company, customer service is key. Last night I put two decorative pillows on hold. I was unable to come get them, so I attempted to call three times, in which no one answered. I came back this morning and asked Lenie, the customer service associate, if I put an item on hold last night, would they still be back behind customer service or if it would still be back in customer service. She let me know they would have put it back. I looked around the store and didn't find the items I was looking for (they only had three in stock). I went back to the customer service desk and let Lenie know I didn't see it on the floor, so if she could have an associate assist me in finding it. She then asked the associate next to her if she could help me, in which that associate replied, "no" as she was printing out UPC bar codes. So Lenie looks on the computer and tells me it's in isle D. I go back and look thru all the the isles under D, and can't find it. I go back to the customer service desk, then ask if someone could direct me to the item. She then asks what it was, and I let her know two decorative pillows with gold pumpkins, and she looks in the back, sure enough they were behind the counter. She then hands me the pillows, as I've got other items on the counter and says, "here". I asked if I could then ring up all my items at the counter. Maybe she could have asked, "would you like me to ring up your items?" I think I may just have had much better customer service training. I felt angered that the customer service is really not on point. If it were me and my retail background, I would have looked in the back first, then had an associate assist the guest to the item. I let Lenie know it's a little upsetting how I had to walk throughout the store twice just to find my item that was already back behind the customer service desk, when I originally asked if it was already behind there. I then asked for the other associate's name, (she wasn't wearing a name tag) and Lenie said she didn't know her name. I recapped with Lenie about how I was feeling and when asked her why the other associate said "no" when Lenie asked her to help me, Lenie told me, "I don't remember". I hope management really looks for better training for their customer service. I have always felt like they've had high expectations for this, but having a few incidents like this at Target, I think they've let it go. read more

For some reason, this Target is below par compared to others. I have revisited in hopes it was a bad day for them, however they seem to be consistent in lack of staffing depts (cannot find help when needed) and out of stock of many common items. Reminds me of a K-mart. read more

The store manager is exactly what a store manager should be ... customer focused and quick to handle any problems. I ordered 6 electric blankets online, for instore pickup. The blankets were on clearance, btw. When I arrived at the store, the cashier could not locate my items (tho they were paid for in advance). When the manager (I think Mike?) was called he confirmed my blankets had been misplaced or sold or sent back - so he quickly survey the store to see if they could fill my order. He came close and found 5/6 blankets. Not the colors I had ordered, but not a big deal. He took 50% off the CLEARANCE price AND gave me a $25 gift card for my 'troubles'!! I've called 6 times to speak to an operator and there was no answer. I called 3x to the electronics department and again, no answer. So I try the pharmacy to ask why isn't there anyone to pick up the phone and it comes to find out they are a cvs pharmacy that's located in the target store and they cannot contact the target for me. A huge WTF in that area. So I try to call the operator one more time & actually let it ring for a long time to see what would happen, and come to find out you just get hung up on. What kind of target is this to not have an associate on stand by to pick up the phone for the operator or for electronics. I don't get it. Even Walmart picks up despite how busy they get. read more

Never buy bikes from this target store. Once you take the bike out of the store you can never return them. My sons bike was defective and the chain broke within a short time - well within the return policy of target. The store refused to exchange or return the bike. They told us that they can only repair the bike and can not return it. The store manager couldn't give us a copy of the return policy stating that bike can't be returned. I think this was a policy made by this store and not the officially available return policy where any customer can access it either in store or their website. When we left the bike for repair, it was not ready on the promised date. We were told that it will take another 3-4 days. Overall, a really bad experience with this target store. My advise to everyone is NEVER PURCHASE BIKES FROM TARGET. read more

This review is not for this specific store but I placed an order online to pick up at this store. I am only giving 4 stars because corporate saved this issue. I placed an order online for an iron that was on sale for $39,99 and wanted to have it picked up in store. This happened on Saturday. I didn't check my emails through the weekend and since I wasn't able to go to the store to pick it up Sunday I waited until Monday to pick it up. The order was cancelled and I was asked if I wanted to replace the order. I did and about 30 min later the order was cancelled again. I called the number for order issues and spoke with a man I'm not sure of his name and he said he would give me a reference # so I could reorder for the same price. Mind you that the item is $49,99 now. He put me on hold and Jessica (A589270) comes on the phone and basically tells me I'm out of luck since I didn't check my email during the weekend. The lack of customer service skills on this individual is incredible. She argued that if you see there are less than 10 items available in store it probably means the item won't be available. False advertisement on their part. I explained to her that I checked online on Saturday and it said there were 2 of the item available and today there are 4. How can my order be cancelled for unavailability of the item if there are more of the same item at that store. I asked to speak with a supervisor and guess what?? She's the supervisor!! Sad to hear target has poor quality supervisors. I asked for her manager and she basically said she has none but gave me the corporate number to file a complaint. I called corporate and explained the situation and they had me place another order for the item, but this time I'm having it shipped to my home, AND they honored the price I originally was given for the item. AMAZING customer service skills. But that's because it's corporate! Thank you Target corporate. You guys know what you're doing! You should probably send Jessica to some sort of supervisor training for a few months to see if she learns anything about being a supervisor. If not, she should be demoted for lack of supervisory skills. If you don't like your job, don't take it out on the customers. It's not our fault you hate your job. I am a loyal Target customer. I usually shop at the Target on Amador Valley Blvd. in Dublin at least once a week. I also shop on-line. I've never had a problem with either experience. I recently went to the "newer" Target on Fallon Blvd. in Dublin because I was in the area and needed to pick up a few things. I went to the "10 items or less" lane, where a frazzled mother of two toddlers went in front of me with at least 25 items. Understanding that two young children are definitely a distraction, I can understand that this young woman probably didn't see the sign. So when she was safely out of earshot, I casually remarked to the cashier that it was "too bad that everyone doesn't see the 10 items or less sign." He said, "yeah, but I sometimes take people with 50 items." I said, "in the express lane?" He said, "yeah, just to get them going out of the store." I said nothing, but what I really wanted to say is, "WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING AN EXPRESS LINE if you're not going to honor it?" And more importantly, what about the poor schmuck who is behind that person with 50 items who "wants to get going out of the store" as he so nicely pointed out! This young man is an embarrassment not only to himself, but to Target. I believe his name is Aaron, but not completely sure. I will NEVER shop at the Target on Fallon EVER again! I will stick to Amador Valley or make the trek to San Ramon so I can be waited on by cashiers who do their job. read more

This review is for the target take out. I ordered two hot dogs for my kids. The guy on duty was new, in a flap and sweating profusely. He scraped his wet (from sweat) hair out of his face and proceeded to make my kids hotdogs with no gloves on nor did he wash his hands.
