With everything going on I had a crazy amount anxiety taking a trip to target. Which is unheard of since Target is the happiest place on earth to me. Upon entering I was greeted by the sweetest employee i wish i coulda got her name! she was wiping down the carts and letting me know which one was okay to take. This place is a complete disappointment. Time after time I buy stuff because it's on-sale and look at the receipt when I get home and I wasn't given the advertised sale price listed. You have to pay attention as they ring you up. My picture shows 2 items on my last visit there. There was three items but there was no price listed for the cat litter I bought. This is the worst Target in regards to the food court. I have been here at least 6 tines in the last two weeks to get pizza and they are either oit of dough so don't have the pizza or they are in the process of cooking them and they dont know when they will be done. I was standing around waiting for over an hour. I'm sorry bit I worked at pizza hut and it takes 20 minutes or less to cook a fucking pizza. When I asked about it he said he didn't even out them in the oven!?! What?! He said he was still trying toake them all. They lost like 7 or 8 peoples money by doing that. read more

Not only was the salesperson extremely helpful and friendly, but also carried the television out of the store and helped to load it into the car... without even being asked to! We went to get a hoverboard that was in stock online at this target. First we called 8 times to confirm it was in stock but they did not answer. When we arrived after driving 30 minutes, the item was not there. We talked to an employee who said that we could go to guest services where they would get us the Black Friday deal on hold when the item came back in stock. We went to guest services and Ron was very rude to us and dismissed us. Then we asked for the manager. Danielle came and she refused to help us and would not even apologize for our situation. We asked for her manager's name and number but she refused to give it to us. She finally gave us a name, but when we went and asked another employee for the manager's name, they told us the name she gave us was incorrect and gave us a different name. All but 1 of the double carts are broken! I have 13mo twins. I come to target because they have double cars which makes things much easier... I cant put one of the twins in the bucket of a single because they are too young to listen to stay seated and they don't have enough balance yet to stay standing as the cart moves. If I use a stroller than I don't have any where to put items. I searched through and found 3 double carts that were all broken... when I asked about if there was more, I got 'I don't know' when I asked to put in a formal complaint, she said 'ok I will tell them'. So I doubt anything was done. I spotted the one working double cart being used in the store by a family who could have easily managed with a standard single cart! Let's start off with horrible customer service. Unlike Dublin West, the employees are rude. I live in Concord and I was visiting family while I was calling in for something. They didn't pick up 50 times. Literally. When they eventually did, I told them and they didn't even care. I told them what I need and they said "Please check our store website.". I got pissed. There is a reason I'm calling! I don't have internet in my car! I'm calling because most of the time when I do check the website , they don't even have it. The store is always empty. Once again another bad experience. Went in to get eggs. There were no eggs. An employee said "yeah the eggs are always back there. Nobody wants to put them out" and went on his way. Had to go to a different store to get eggs. Also every single time I am here I am overcharged. every time. The store manager is exactly what a store manager should be ... customer focused and quick to handle any problems. I ordered 6 electric blankets online, for instore pickup. The blankets were on clearance, btw. When I arrived at the store, the cashier could not locate my items (tho they were paid for in advance). When the manager (I think Mike?) was called he confirmed my blankets had been misplaced or sold or sent back - so he quickly survey the store to see if they could fill my order. He came close and found 5/6 blankets. Not the colors I had ordered, but not a big deal. He took 50% off the CLEARANCE price AND gave me a $25 gift card for my 'troubles'!! New Target in our area that opened last year I believe. The other Target in Dublin is closer to where I live so I usually go there, but this one isn't bad. It's nice and new and usually well stocked with grocery items. Wish the fruit selections at Target's were better! read more

You know it's not good when any Target store receives less than 3 stars. As a frequent flyer of Target stores all around the East Bay and Philly/NJ area, I've grown quite fond of its fully stocked shelves and superb customer service. However, after a desperate (and most likely unhealthy) search for a favorite cardigan at the nearby Target stores, this Target location was my last hope at finding my item. I called 4 times with no response from anyone at this Dublin East Target. After reading other reviews from my fellow Yelpers, it's clear that this Target is in desperate need of a customer service makeover! read more

I'd like to start by saying I have never been more upset with how I was treated by my local target. I have been a target customer for years, and long ago I worked for target. I went into Target on Saturday 11/28 (Target West Dublin on Amador) and purchase and Black Friday special on beats headphones for 96.99. There was another deal for $159.99 for a wireless pair that are regular $299.99. I preferred the wireless pair considering the deal. The West Dublin location was out of stock and suggested I try East Dublin. Online, East Dublin showed limited stock and to "go to store to buy." Well, I arrive and they are in stock, for $299.99. I explain to electronics rep Elliott and he says we are not price matching until after cyber Monday. I explain that I was sent here and I am not requesting a price match I am requesting the price the Target site told me to go in store and purchase the item. We then go to guest services and Trainer Nicole says no price matching. She very rudely offers the LOD can come after I wait because he is busy. (She also rudely says to another employee that was very nice if they can close already). Mike does not come over, but Chris does. He could not comprehend and went and explained to a security guard, then to Mike, then back to Nicole and laughs that they will not honor what the site says and continue to think I want a price match. Now Johnathan and Dominic come over from security as if I've done something wrong. Respectfully, Dominic ask to speak to me on the side rather than in front of all the guest in guest services. At this point they actually look at my phone showing Target.com suggesting to go into Dublin East and purchase the item for $159.99. I also addressed the issue that they would not allow me to return the pair I purchased at West Dublin with my Target Debit and my proof of receipt earlier. They refused and said to go to the other store or come back another day, no customer service what so ever. I see Mike and I ask him to give me a few moments. Rather than listened to the situation in its entirety he says he can not do anything and neither will escalating to corporate because they have tried for others "today". At this point I walk away and leave the store. I felt disrespected and not valued as a long time customer. I've always held target to a higher standard, but not with this service. it's more comparable to Walmart. I work for two VERY big name companies and we would NEVER treat our paying customer this way, busy holiday or not. The manager wouldn't even hear me out, and then to call security on my for wanting my hard earned money back because I'm upset and no longer want to give my money to your store is just beyond my understanding. read more

Very annoyed, FIRST OFF the security sucks! Yesterday I went to buy a few items for my dog with my daughter and bf. We do self checkout and split the items/transaction. We finish paying and go to our car then all of a sudden a security guy follows us and asks to see our receipt. I thought I threw away my receipt but I didn't which is good. But what if I did? Would he have taken away the items I paid for?? He was such a jerk and only checked our receipt. He came all the way to our car. So disrespectful, I'm there with my 2 year old daughter and he thinks we're stealing stuff. Definitely not going back to this target. this new Target store opened up on wednesday and lucky for me it looks like most people don't even know this. this place was deserted and since there is really nothing else in this part of new dublin it was a ghost town. yay for me! i have always had a love for shopping at target even though it did take over my childhood favorite, GEMCO. i would give 5 stars but it doesn't quite make the cut like other target stores. it's also way too dangerous for me to get anything here because a lil something turns out to be a big something on my credit card. they have everything i need and more of what i don't need but i tend to buy anyway. friendly staff and the shelves are always stocked full of goodness. thank god this place closes at 10pm or I'd be soooo damn broke. they have grocery and everything you would expect from a target store. if they sold jager and cigs i would live there!! lol read more

The women's bathroom was not kept up and dirty. Also the Starbucks staff guy with longer hair working the night of November 10th 2013 was quite rude and all the tables were very dirty. He said we had to leave the whole area while he cleaned the table instead of just cleaning while we were near table. And it was obvious that all the tables had been dirty for some quite time. The policies that Target sets up are so weird. I went to return baby formula so I could rebuy it for the $5 gift card deal they currently have. But they said I can't rebuy the baby formula I returned. They immediately threw it in the trash. They should set up a system where you can return your item and buy it back. read more

It's back to San Ramon Target for us. I agree that the two checkout clerks I've dealt with were both quick, friendly, and efficient, especially for being new in retail. However, "Mike" the manager was less than helpful and refused to follow through on a checkout issue for me until I pointed out that the screen said "override," meaning that he could indeed override something that was obviously a system problem. He just really didn't care to help me, which I found unusual for a Target manager. I don't know if they're not fully stocked yet. The shelves are certainly full, but they didn't have about 1 in 4 items that I needed last night; basics like canned spinach, cornbread mix, frozen pretzels, and the most common flavor combo of Mighty Dog meals. And be careful to note where you park; there is a concrete landscaping divider in the parking lot that will prevent you from crossing to the next lane if you get part of the way down with your cart before realizing that you parked one more row over. You have to go all the way back or all the way to the end, then over to your car. Whoever thought that was a good idea obviously has a super-human memory for where they parked--not like the rest of us humans. I'll check it out again in a month or two, but based on what I've seen so far, it's no better than the old Dublin Target. I'd rather spend the extra ten minutes to drive to San Ramon where I know they'll have what I need and will care about my business. read more

I've come across a few rude associates here. It's kind of annoying considering I'm a regular customer who consistently buys merchandise here. It's a little upsetting really. Workers here aren't as enthusiastic as I hope they would be, but it's Target so I know they are busy. I love the Starbucks. The workers there are always so kind even when they have a line- And they do have those from time to time. It's usually only two workers or sometimes even one and all the customers are always so patient. Gosh, that Starbucks is really great. There's a Starbucks two minutes from this one and they're pretty awesome too. The store itself isn't really messy so I like that I'm able to find things without it being in the wrong place. Disappointing day at target. My mom wanted to buy the fifth Harry Potter she went down to the target in livermore and accidentally bought the wrong one. She went out again this time to the one in Dublin because its closer and tried to return the movie and they told her you can't return something the same day. The movie wasn't open and she had the receipt. She had to argue with the worker and ask for a manager who then finally agreed to accept the return. Then she wanted to buy a gift card and wanted a gift receipt just in case the card didn't work for my cousin. The worker told her she didn't need one for a gift card she told her she still noted one and the worker continued to argue she didn't need one my mom was just done by then and left frustrated read more

I absolutely adore Target, & actually used to work for one. However, this particular Target seems to have some of the most lethargic team members. The last time I shopped here, both cashiers I encountered were just, so "blah". I was nothing but super nice (because I was in a good mood), & their emotions still wouldn't budge. I understand if you're having a bad, day & all that, but no customer should get your negative attitude thrust upon them. I wanna see someone with personality & spunk, ya know? I went to this target for the first time today to check it out and return some sports wear from the west Dublin target. I had heard that their prices were 24-27% higher from someone so when I was returning my items I asked if this was true. The woman told me yes most things cost more at the east dublin target but some did not. I was shocked and asked why a target 15 minutes from another target would have higher prices. She said she really didn't know but possibly because it was new and that many targets have different prices and they would do price matching. Why would I want to go through the hassle of price matching when I could just shop at the cheaper store? Needless to say I will not be returning to this target again which is their loss because with 2 small children I shop at Target often. read more

This is by far, one of the worst run targets I have been to, and I have been to a lot of targets. Im not expecting 5 star elite service either. But I will share to you my negative experience and tell people, if you plan on buying something at any target, avoid this place at all costs. I went in to return a pretty pricey item I had bought on my red card a couple of weeks ago. Immediately, i was met by this clerk (died blond hair in her 40s or 50s) who gave me this look as if I did something wrong. I cant read her mind, so i can only suggest that the look already made me feel uncomfortable. I gave her the item and then she just stared at me and the item as I told her i would like to do a return. She had said, this item is from best buy, i had to explain to her that i just came from best buy and they put stickers on all items before entering the store, but thats besides the point. So i told her i bought this item with my red card and she tried to scan and it said item cannot be found. I told her that I bought this at the target and the manager came over (friendlier then the clerk) and explained that there is nothing they can do. I had to tell him, that the reason i got a red card was that you guys had said when we buy items on it, we dont need a receipt. He couldnt explain but offered me to drive 15 miles to another target to find out the problem. I went to another target and the situation was EASILY fixed. The other target said that all they had to do was enter the sku number manually. Would have saved me time and mileage. Anyway 1 star for Dublin East Target....avoid this place unless you welcome bad service. read more

Clean, spacious, and you can almost always find parking on the side of the store. I often visit the baby area to buy formula. This particular section is always clean and fully stocked. I am never disappointed. I am so glad I don't have to drive to the Fremont Hub any more do do my Target shopping. The convenient location really saves a lot of time. read more
