One of the worst Target stores I've ever shopped at! The store layout is very disorganized. There's usually only 2 regular cash registers open, which means long lines--self check out has been limited to 10 items or less. The staff working the regular lanes operate at an unbelievably slow pace. Drive-Up/grocery pickup is extremely inefficient at this store. It does not save me any time, as I usually ended up waiting 20min or more for my items. Additionally, I would occasionally like to use the electric scooter shopping cart option, as I have several invisible illnesses and deal severe chronic pain (often exacerbated by standing and shopping for more than 5min). However, I have not been able to locate a single electric scooter. The store is overall lacking in ADA accommodations--narrow aisles, staff or other guests abandoning carts in walkways, aisles, etc. Pharmacy staff is typically very rude as well. Overall, my experiences at this store have been consistent and frustrating. Visited 11/26/2017 We were about to go home after having some eats when my girls decided to go shopping. This Target is pretty much the same as all the other Target's that I have been to. Similar layout and free parking in a large lot. Starbucks located inside. Reasonable priced clothing. I wasn't impressed though with their selection of shoes. Not very many choices, Few areas to sit while waiting for them to finish looking for boots and shoes. Several registers were open, so the wait time was very little. read more

I am not a huge Target fan, but I must say... this location has completely upgraded! When you walk into a department store (i.e. Macy's, Nordstrom's, etc.) you'll usually encounter a makeup section. This was the case at Target, and I am truly impressed! I did not expect it to look like a mall! We came to pick up a few things and everything is neatly in its place, and super easy to find! I am a huge Walmart fan (because of their low prices), but it's sometimes difficult to find what I need because you have to rummage through other items before finding what you're looking for. I may actually start visiting Target more often now because it's less of a hassle. The self check out line is super quick if you're in a hurry! read more

Wow Target, new and improved, very clean and organized. I love it, even tho I was as a bit confused on my end, walking around in circles for a bit, but I am impressed. I feel like this store has come a loooong way, the look before was a bit out dated while all the other stores got a fancy and now this location looks better then the Pasadena one. I love the beauty section, it has a wide selection of small/travel items to pick from. They also have a lot of good brands to pick from too. Target not getting a full 5 star was the customer service I experienced today while doing my return. The guy who helped me didn't care, talked over me when I asked a question, didn't make eye contact not because he is shy, but its clear, he doesn't care. I really dislike coming into this Target now. It was great until they stopped utilizing their self checkout. This morning, 10 people in line and 1 cashier. It's great to have people working but make sure you have enough cashiers working. All other Targets have self checkout open except this one. They only open it here when it gets crazy busy. This is my go to target. I love it. However today, I was casually looking for a game when a worker put the wrath of god on my friends and I. It was a terrible experience. This Target location just happened to be near a restaurant I was eating at and it was very clean and organized. It seemed a bit smaller than the usual Targets in my area. They must be overstaffed, because I just saw 4 staff members standing around chit-chatting it up about staff coverages right near the entrance at 3PM. I guess if your store is clean and organized, you have plenty of free time. hahaha ... and the self checkout associate was super friendly and helpful, even did a quick price match check for me. read more

My apologies this was probably a month ago but I want to give a shout out to a cashier named Gustavo. He was dealing with a customer who was giving him a hard time about his name. It was an older Caucasian guy who was saying he liked the name Gus more than Gustavo, pretty easy to pick out the racist undertones. I would shop at this Target location sometimes when i lived in Monrovia. Parking area was huge, But it was always a struggle driving through the other businesses trying to get to the store sometimes. As usual like any Target they have everything id look for. Security guards really hawk you down as you walk inside here. Many times they have had alot of theft in the past. When I was a kid, my mom drove us out to this Target from Pasadena. Maybe the expansive parking lot was a draw, maybe the muscle memory of going to the KMart a few blocks away before it closed (yes, we shopped at KMart in the 80s... when it was cool...er.) Whatever the reason, this was our go-to Target for a long time. The usual fare was all here-- clothes, bathroom necessities, toys... all the stuff everyone still buys at Target. They also used to have a great little outdoor garden area, with plants, succulents, and other interests for a younger green-thumbed fellow like me. Well the garden area is no more, but still plenty to see here. A Starbucks has usurped the old cafeteria thing, and lots of other stores and food joints have popped up in the shopping center anyway. In the immediate area, a Staples and a Best Buy (heck, and a 7 Eleven) give shoppers lots of options for things found in various Target departments... but I suppose that's progress. Besides-- the fact that Target is still here after all these years means they must be doing something right. read more

How can "my" Target not get 5 stars??! I practically live in this store! In fact, I'm there so often, they might start charging me rent soon! How can I possibly avoid this location when they have cute clothes, lots of sizes - even if it is a significantly smaller selection than in Pasadena - and lots of variety. There is a nicely sized beauty and makeup section, which I totally love. I always find what I need (and then some!), like the ultimate cult fave Thayer's witch hazel toner, or my go-to No 7 foundation, and they even carry pricier items like the french skincare line, La Roche Posay, oh là là! They carry all sorts of fun stuff for the house too. I am so happy that they have the Hearth & Hand creation here which is Target's exclusive collaboration with Magnolia, the home & lifestyle brand by Chip & Joanna Gaines (couple goals). And more times than not, the service here is wonderful, friendly, and helpful! So, keep taking my money, Target. All of it. I simply cannot resist you! read more

This is my local target and I'm usually here a couple times a month. I'm writing this review now because the level of customer service I experienced from Camille was absolutely wonderful and I feel that she deserves a shoutout!! She saw that I was ready to check out and opened a register just to ring me up. On top of that, she was incredibly sweet and friendly and I was simply blown away by her thoughtfulness and kind disposition. I genuinely hope I run into her again here, target is lucky to have her. The only reason I deducted a star is due to the issues with stock availability that I sometimes encounter. Usually I can get what I need but it happens frequently enough that I am left wanting for items time and again. Overall, decent store. Horrible the last couple times I've been. Totally get their is a supply chain shortage but always looks like a tornado hit it. I went looking for an item their website said they had in stock. Sadly it wasn't in stock but I wanted to double check with the staff. I went to a price check station to check and ask for help. I hit the button for help.... Three people walked passed me and didn't check in. On the way out I asked the management staff who scouts out the lines which are always long but doesn't aid their staff.... They didn't help either. I like my neighborhood target and try hard to support them, but their prices is almost always higher than the target in Azusa. I'm in between both. Went to target to buy a mirrorless camera. I also wanted to compare against dslr canons. The tech sales staff were mainly unhelpful. One didn't know anything at all about cameras. And admitted it. The others seemed reluctant to help me. I had to practically beg for assistance. They prolly didn't think I was serious about buying or looking. They offered rare comments on which was better camera for what I needed. I prayed. Anyways. At the end I got a lil help. The saving grace was when I went to the front cashiers to buy my other items and Rickey was above and beyond friendly, patient and helpful. He made my customer service experience better at Target. I appreciate it. This target was orderly and stocked with what I needed during covid 19 and nicely organized and clean. The store is beautiful and whoever manages it. Kudos. I never thought I would say this..... I can't believe I would say my recent experience at Walmart is 10x better than I had at this Target today. 3 registered froze so lines were backed up. Ok it happens. They didn't have any carts available. Shelves were empty. Staff were new and have no idea what they were doing. The register froze when I was paying and by the time I left Target, it had taken them 35 mins to have me just to pay..... The only thing they said was sorry and walked away...... Not sure where start. I went to target in the city of Duarte to go buy a 65 inch Samsung tv on 11-10-19. Once I got the tv to my house I opened just to find out all the accessories were missing, no cables, no remote, just the tv. So I went back to target to exchange or return it. They review the tv and told me the tv serial number was not matching the box. I was like wow how is this possible! The tv was packaged new and with plastics straps. The employees were being very helpful but they were looking at me like I was lying. It was embarrassing! Luckily they let me return it. Now same day I ended up going to the target in Azusa. Perfect! They had the same tv I wanted. Everything was going great until I insert my target credit card. The card machine crash during the transaction. It took the payment but the cashier wasn't able to retrieve it because it crash. Now I spent 2 hours in this store trying to resolve the issue. I was with customer service on the phone, they were able to void the transaction. I did managed to buy the tv. I did open the tv box and inspected it before leaving the store. Trying to buy a tv cost me 6 hours just to try to watch a football game which I didn't! I love shopping at target but after this experience I don't feel secure and lost trust shopping with target. I was pleasantly surprised during a recent visit to this Target location. The management and staff have really improved their customer service and professionalism. Several team members greeted "good morning" when I was shopping throughout the store even when I was minding my own business and browsing the shelves; this happened half a dozen times. A couple of team members also closed with "have a nice day" on the way out, which typically does not happen. Solid greetings and farewells make for a great foundation of the guest experience. This target is awful! Last night I purchased market place bacon it expired September 4th. Yesterday was September 17th. Went back to exchange the bacon and ALL the market place bacon was expired. I returned my bacon and I asked how can I be compensated for this inconvenience and the manager said we will give you the bacon for free. How? When ALL of that brand is expired. I call corporate and explain what happened they transfer over to a tech which wasn't a tech just another person who handles customer affairs. I ask how can I be compensated for this and Tanisha says we don't compensate. So you all have expired food that I purchased and had to drive all the way back because of your expired products and there's no compensation? ALL of the brand of bacon I buy was EXPIRED! Now I have to pack up my babies once again and go to a grocery store that has food that isn't expired. read more

This target seems like it's about to go out of business. Ever since they remodeled they haven't stocked the shelves. It kinda looks like a scene from a disaster movie where all the groceries are gone..last time I was there they literally had no butter.... butter, the most basic grocery, was gone. Today they had no sugar... They also reorganized in the weirdest possible way. For example, most of the coffee filters are next to the coffee in the grocery aisle... except for the small filters.. those are on the other side of the store in the housewares department... makes no sense at all. It's disappointing because the next target is a 20 minute drive away. Not sure who approved the remodel or who is supposed to order for them, but they really need to rethink their new model... read more

Tip for managers: Nancy with the super heavy makeup was disgustingly rude. We were waiting in line to check out & she looked us up & down & said, "Did you guys need something?" Uh, yeah. I spoke to six people and she was the one that came through borrowing a key from someone else to help me. I'm so beyond grateful for the help from Andrew and Anthony. I was in need of a charger bc mine didn't work. My phone was dead & was miles away from home. I was coming down from Victorville. I decided to stop at this target. I honestly had no idea where I was. Anthony quickly helped me get directions on his phone. Andrew helped me get a cable to charge my phone. Honestly, I'd forgotten that such nice people still exist. I'm forever grateful for both of them. Not to be dramatic or anything but they really did save my life. This location is definitely my all time favorite! They have a good selection on just about anything you're looking for. They staff is super friendly (besides this one guy who was checking me out the entire time I was at the movie section) lol it's always a pleasure coming in here. The employees are super friendly and always help you find something when you can't find it. I seem to always find parking when I get here and the waits for the line aren't bad at all!!! Went looking for a CVS pharmacy while in the area and Google Maps brought me here; the CVS was inside this Target. This Target was not as big as what I'm used to but it appeared to have everything you expect from a Target, including groceries. I had the most difficult and horrifying experience at this location on Friday, July 3. My wife and I purchased items of over $300 in value and then proceeded to check out. We are frequent Starbucks customers and proceeded to purchase frappes from the outlet. With the ordering and the wait it was about 30 minutes before we planned on exited the store with our beverages. Upon exit we were approached by Alonso an associate that questioned us about our purchases. He was rude and made it seem that were stole the items in my cart by his tone, approach, Demeanor and examination of the receipt. I asked him why wasn't he checking the other customers as they left and exited the store and also had items in their carts. His response in an arrogant and unbecoming nature was that he was busy with me. It had been months since we left the house because of the pandemic and my wife felt for Some retail therapy. The manner in which I felt belittled and prejudiced tantamounts to racial discrimination. The customers that left the store were not people of color by I am. Given the Current times that we live in and the experience That we have gone through, I was utterly shocked and appalled, in a state of disbelief that Alonso would act like this. My wife used to love shopping at Target and am I have the app and was considering applying for a store credit card but this experience has made me question the company and what they stand for. Alonso should be a custodian of the target brand but instead he has placed the company in disrepute. I believe that I was victimized due to the color of my skin and that is something that should not be taken lightly. Shame of you Alonso and Target for Employing someone that does not conform of the belief on racial equality for all. I will never want to shop at Target again and believe that we as a society should stand up against racism. read more
