I like this location for a few resons. First, although it is usually crowded, the parking lot is huge and you can always find a spot. The shelves are well stocked. They do get hit pretty hard on the weekends, but I can still usually walk out with what I came for. Staff are friendly enough here. Nothing special. Bathrooms are unsanitary, no staffing, only one or two lanes open on weekends, and never stocked yet online states the store has the inventory. The staff are wearing masks and they are in charge of checkout lines to avoid chaos. This store only gets 2 stars because customer service is inconsistent, if not lacking. Sadly I have to give one star, but I would give -100 stars if I could. If you work as an employee at this target I would be extremely embarrassed to be you. Every employee I came in contact with today was unhelpful, rude, and had a terrible attitude. Considering targets values are exceptional customer service this store lacked terribly. Will be contacting corporate about this target and all the terrible employees working there. Listen to this review & don't come here, there's so many targets that you can "expect more, and pay less". Wow, what a disaster of a Target. I can normally spend several joyous hours in Target, but leaving this store was like escaping from prison. Sales tags? In all the wrong areas. Items for sale? They currently offer a grocery section. Not a huge selection, but it's good in a pinch. The store iteslf is clean and organized and it's easy to find what you're looking for. Not up to the standard I expect from Target. I used to joke that I would drive past three Wal-Marts to shop at a Target. This store has changed that. I now drive further to shop at Wal-Mart or at a Target significantly further from my home. This store does have a pharmacy and optical, and recently opened a fresh grocery (prices are not competitive with local grocery chains). There is a snack bar, but not a Starbucks. The one positive is that the cashiers are friendly and efficient. On the down side, the store is often crowded and not very clean. Items are frequently misplaced and poorly merchandised making it difficult to determine prices or locate a specific product or size. The sale/clearance racks are an embarrassment - just a mess of products, many that are not actually mark-downs, often damaged from poor handling and being over-crowded and poorly hung. The children's department is probably worst, with juniors/misses being a very close second. These may seem like a little things, but the carts are in terrible repair and the restrooms are not clean. The one time we got a good cart that didn't pull, make noises, or bump along roughly my husband and I joked that we were going to keep it in the back of our minivan for next time! With a toddler in our family, clean restrooms can make or break a store. If you like to shop at Target I would recommend avoiding this store - go to Paramus instead. read more

Went in here a few times before and during remodeling. Shelves were decently stocked with inventory. Food and beverage section was stocked well and there was not many shelves that did not have items missing or just an empty spot. The shoes department could be a little neater and presentable. Somewhat clean and neat. Bathroom was ok. Alot of summer supplies and fun items for families and stuff for your house. The only down was the men's section was extremely small not a lot of variety out and stuff to look at. The women's, baby, and kids section had more items then the men's. read more

I've been coming to this store for a long time. It's generally been fine though it can be somewhat disorganized and usually doesn't have enough registers open. Last week (12/21) I purchased holiday icicle lights and when I opened the box at home (12/23), the box had a used (and very worn) set of lights. When I went to return them today (12/27) they wouldn't accept the return and give me a refund or credit. The manager (Wilson) was incredibly unhelpful and refused to provide a justification for the refusal other then to say it had to be returned before Christmas. This "policy" was not posted anywhere. He also seemed to have no explanation as to why I was sold a box with used lights. Thankfully I spoke with someone at corporate who issued a gift card for the purchase price. I will be using that card at another Target store. read more

This is one of those Greatlands that have groceries and furniture. There are many good deals here and a very nice kids section. The baby section is not always well stocked, but there are a lot of options. The checkout line here is very bad. There is often a very ling wait, regardless of whether there are two or eight lanes open. Also, the managers walk around and see the long lines, but don't do anything about them. They do, however, have a good price match policy, at least they did around the Christmas time, even if you have to go to the customer service desk to get it. Lastly, you can recycle batteries here - very useful for the environmentally conscience. The clothing and bedding sections are definitely less organized as they have been picked over a lot by the customers. The toy sections can be crazy, especially around this time of year. The employees are generally nice/helpful, when you can find them. My only issue is with the clothing/fitting room lady this weekend. I had (plenty of times) brought my kid into the fitting room with me in a cart or stroller - usually the handicapped stall. On Sat. the woman guarding the entrances told me that I could only bring my baby and the clothes in the dressing rooms, and that I'd have to leave the cart w/ my diaper bag outside. My baby, who just started crawling and chewing on floors, would just have to go on the floor, because the cart, under no circumstances, could go into the dressing room. She was really snobby about it too, not in your face rude, but condescending and dismissive about my concerns. I actually really like some of the clothes you can find at Target (especially the maternity stuff, and some of the softer pants), but with service like this, I was so annoyed that I just couldn't even bear to get the clothes I selected (especially since it wasn't feasible for me to try them on). Even if this was a situation where the employee chose not to make a special exception for me (when all prior employees didn't make a big deal about it, or tried their best to make the situation workable), I am only annoyed with the woman's attitude, and not the fact that I didn't get "privileges." read more

This target really has no compassion for people. Today I did the self checkout for a few items using my debit card. During the checkout process I asked for $10 back. Unfortunately, during this process I really really had to use the bathroom (I'm pregnant) as soon as I finished scanning the items and paid I saw the reminder on the screen to grab the receipt and I walked away quickly to get to the bathroom. Before I even walked inside the bathroom I realized I never grabbed the money. I wobbled my ass back quick as hell to the self checkout and didn't see the $10 :( I told the guy at self checkout right away to see if there was anything they could do, I even told him check the cameras you'll see I didn't grab it! They basically said there's nothing they could do and that the machine reminds you to grab your money - WRONG! It reminds you to grab your receipt which I did and I didn't even realize until I went back for the money but the change slot is near the bottom of the machine which is no where near the receipt. It was a honest mistake. I'm not the type to make a big deal out of things - that's not my character BUT I will say I am upset and disappointed. They had no sympathy whatsoever. Unfoturnately, buying on line and picking up an order was a disaster. I was on line for about 40 minutes and no one trying to pick up an order went in or out. At the same time, people were continually let into the store to shop in person. People in the order pick up line were getting angry. I finally had to ask them to cancel my order as the situation did not improve. Warning to anyone thinking of ordering on line and going to the store for pick up. read more

I come here often because its close to my house but I try to avoid this place on weekends. It gets really crowded. I try my best to avoid humans at all costs (just kidding) and this Target doesn't help my cause. Luckily I don't do much shopping because I live alone so I like to go in and run out. They have a grocery section which I like. Its a one stop shop. This way I don't have to go to an actual grocery store to get certain items. This place is somewhat organized and the staff is friendly. I usually dont have a problem with targets snack bar. Today, i ordered 3 large bags of popcorn. Since there wasn't enough for 1 bag, the cashier said i would need to wait for it because they would need to pop more. I said no problem, then she asked if i really wanted 3 large bags because that is a lot of popcorn. I smiled and said yes..i want 3 bags, then i ordered 1 order of hot wings, 1 order of mild wings, 2 large drinks and i picked up a premade personal pan pizza. When my hot wings was ready she called out hot wings, so i went to the counter, she gave me one order of hot wings. I continued to stand there, she looked at me and said yes..i asked where was the rest of my order. She said well i have to bag the popcorn. So she stopped what she was doing and bagged my popcorn and handed me 3 half full bags of popcorn. I asked her if large bags of popcorn was always half full. She said yes. I said i didnt realize that i should have ordered 3 full small bags. I continued to wait there and she ssked me yes? I asked where was my order of mild wings. For the love of God, please fill the handbaskets. There are NEVER, and I mean NEVER, handbaskets available, just the empty dispenser. I always go in for just a few things, and refuse to wheel around a shopping cart. So I just carry what I can. You are actively hurting sales by discouraging shoppers like me who don't come in with the intention of filling a shopping cart from buying more. If the intention here is to maximize sales by forcing people people to take a shopping cart...whatever, that's your choice to make as a business and maybe you have data to prove it works. But have the decency to remove the empty handbasket holders so it doesn't just look like youre incompetent or incapable of ordering more handbaskets. Really wish this Target location was closer to me than my local Walmart because I like shopping here so much more. The aisles are cleaner and more brightly lit, very rarely do I see shelves half-stocked with products. It looks like their employees are really paying attention to the visuals. This place DOES get insanely busy on the weekends, especially Saturday evenings after dark and Sundays as there is apparently a large orthodox Jew population in the area (that doesn't drive on Friday nights or during the day on Saturdays). It doesn't help that it sort of shares a parking lot with one particular restaurant (Shannon Rose) that can get totally packed on Friday and Saturday nights. But If you go at off-peak times, this is a great Target (although there is always at least a short line). They recently added a nice little fresh grocery section. I come to this store often due to its ease of accessibility. Tonight as I walked by some isles an employee named Steph/Stephanie requested i walk around a small clean up pile in the middle of walk way UNLESS I was going into the isle.. I walked into the isle and walked past her only to hear " am I not speaking English " to a co worker about 2 seconds after I walked by. Not very professional to start with. It was also a whopping 1ft by 1ft paper towel mound that isn't very hard to walk around. As she made her stupid comment her coworker looked at me as I stared in disbelief and awaited her next word vomit so I could let her know she was speaking perfect English and I'm a grown adult and can manage to walk where I need to without her consent or commentary. I'll be skipping this store from here on out, as a paying customer I don't need to listen to rude employees. To boot I'm pretty sure she was the manager or assistant manager. This was the worst experience at Target that I have ever had! The store was packed. It was about 4:30 on Friday with only like 1, yes ONE regular register open. The only other option was to use self checkout. The side that I went to was a lady worker helping customer. At one point she bent down to pick up something and I winded literally seeing the crack of her behind. SMH Anyway, I finally got to check out and one of my items rang up the wrong price. I told her that it was supposed to be $6.99 but it rang up like $7.39. Instead of her calling someone for help, she tells me that she could not leave but I could go and take a picture of it and show her. So I brought her the picture showing her where I got the item from showing her that the shelf was fully stocked with the exact items and showing the price. She tells me that she will tell management. I ask was she going to adjust the price and she refuses although it is their error. So I told her to just take it off. AVOID DRIVEUP DURING COVID!!! Opted to use Drive-Up service to avoid going inside, due to COVID. It took 2 hrs and 10 min to get my order after I arrived at the store!!! There seemed to be no efficient system; no arrival cue in place. The attendant kept pulling his face mask down while he was talking into my car! I would have avoided the Drive Up had I known this would be my experience! To top it off, my car battery died because I was waiting for two hours; I had to call roadside assistance! Cosmetics have often been opened and used or tested and the shades I need are sold out. i wish Target would build another store in the area because this one is the pits. I see employees staring at their phones more often than not. I asked an employee where I could find something once and she told me it's not her section and to ask someone else. My experience at this Target have been nothing but good. Even the section for plus size clothing have been plentiful (which is something you don't find often in generalized department stores, but times are changing). I think they have plenty of items to choose from: beauty, fashion, household and medicinal. And I have never had an issue with the service, I even left my shades there one time by accident and was able to retrieve them an entire day later. I was just told that an aisle was closed and that I couldn't get what I needed - even though the items i wanted were not the ones being restocked and were well within my reach. Staff will not go out of their way to help you find anything, no matter how polite you are. When I was 7 months pregnant, shopping with a 4 yr old and a 1 year old, I got an eye roll because I asked someone to come unlock my cart. I really should have stopped shopping here after that. Ok Target, good for your everyday items. Beware of the food there though, I usually check dates, but when I forget I am always kicking myself later. I've left this Target more than once with expired food items. One of which was 6 MONTHS past the expiration date. That's ridiculous. Stepped into this location foe the first time today (1/28/19) around 12noon. Found what i was looking for and went to a register to checked out. Went to register #13 there was an older Indian woman wearing glasses who rung me up. She didn't greet nor even look my way, okay not a big deal. Her face said she was having a bad day, and that's okay as well. But when she began motioning to me with her hand as if to say Hurry Up, that wasn't okay! There wasn't a long line, nor am I the type to rush, so I'm not sure why she would do that to me. She rang me up & I paid for my things. Behind me was a tall white professional looking man in a dark blue suit. Immediately she greeted him, and ask him how he was! So here's the issue Target has.. your trained staff isn't treating every one of your paying customers with the same level of care, respect and customer service and I am offended by this Target employee's behavior. I would like a branch manager to contact me about this, to let me know if I should or shouldn't continue to shop at Target due to not being the right color. I don't ever expect to be disregarded by Target staff because they rather serve whites than me when my money is green like ant white person's. read more
