The store is clean which is good, but there are rarely enough checkers. The lines are long. In the self service section you often have to wait to get anyone to help you if needed. Often there is no one to be found and you have to look for someone. They are out of stock on a regular basis. The last time I was there much of their pharmacy area had bare selves. When I asked about it they said they didn't know where anything was but it should be on the shelves in a couple of days. That was a wasted trip. From now on I am going to the Walmart Neighborhood store which is in the same area. read more

This review is for Management and for Evan in customer service. Today around 3:40pm I came to this location to have some refunds done for myself and my children's clothes. I spoke with Evan (who is Caucasian/White, Male, Had a Buzzed Head with black squares, Mustache, and Black Glitter Painted Fingernails.) When I walked up to him I greeted him saying "hello how are you?" To which he didn't respond. He said "what do we have going on here." In a unwelcoming and careless manner. We first began the process of returns on some dresses I had and that I asked to receive store credit for. After those returns were processed and credited, I proceeded to hand him 3 children's items including with one pair of children's cowboy style boots, one toddler cardigan, and one toddler long sleeve shirt. When he saw the boots he picked them up and then aggressively put them down saying "We cannot accept this return because they were worn" and I replied "Yes you can, Cat & Jack has a return policy through Target that allows 1 year guaranteed return for their brand's merchandise even if they are worn, used, or outgrown" He then says "Whatever" and proceeds with the return. I then said "Is there a manager I can speak to?" He says "I am the manager" I HIGHLY doubt that... I told him "We can cancel this if its a big problem" but he rushed me to hand him my phone with the receipt. I then tell him "I'm not abusing the system, it's part of their policy" and he replies "Yeah keep telling yourself that." I told him that I was being respectful towards him and I kindly requested that he be respectful towards me. This was my first time doing a Cat & Jack return ever, it was for 3 items. The boots were only a bit worn down at the bottom but in overall great condition. I told him "I am receiving store credit so the money goes back to Target anyways" he proceeds processing the return for the cardigan and shirt. He makes the returns credited back to my card which I asked him not to do and gave me back the money at the lowest price because I was supposedly "abusing" the return system. I told him that "I actually looked up this return policy in order to avoid any issues or problems" like this one. I then kindly told him to "have a great day". I was kind, respectful, patient, helpful, and organized but in return I received his unwelcoming attitude, unnecessary comments, and overall disrespect. I wanted to use the money from those 3 items towards my children's clothes at Target. I don't understand why you would hire someone with no customer service skills and a rude demeanor and then put them at the customer service desk. I hope Management sees this and overthinks this employee's position at this location and evaluates the situation in order to better train employees and hire better employees. Unacceptable. read more

So I bought a couple Tracfone's to switch services with new phones, there was a little setup done in store but we were told it might be up to 24 hours to get the #'s transferred, well 24 hours later, still no service, no answers from target staff that set it up, so I got on the phone with Tracfone and it turns out I have 2 $75 paper weights, so I go to return them and all they will return is $55, they can't return the 20 service fee that still get me no phone service, FFS then if you can't provide the service you shouldn't be able to keep the fees... Drive-up/car delivery is the way to go when Georgie is working! She is the bees knees!! I literally came for extra large Band-Aids for my dad. Never have I been greeted the way I was today!! It was SUPER busy and I was just watching vids on my phone and when it was finally my turn Georgie was so apologetic. I didn't even notice the app was even apologizing. It rang up full price and target refused to honor it, even after I showed them how many were on clearance with the sticker. Wtf is wrong with you target? I went in with my service dog and we had to deal with not one but TWO fake dogs. One was barking and lunging at us and the other was barking and sitting in the cart. When we told an employee, he informed us corporate does not allow employees to speak to individuals about them illegally bringing pets in to avoid confrontation because there is a sign. But you are find with confrontation between actual handlers and employees? That conversation is okay but informing people they can't bring pets in isn't?? Seems like discrimination to me. It's against California health codes for dogs to be in carts and it's against federal law for people to fake having a service dog. Disgusting that you would continue to place actual disabled individuals in harms way to save face. read more

The store is generally clean and organized, however, over the past few years it seems the homeless have become an issue outside of the store, staff is 50/50 If they say hello and the carts are always FILTHILY. For these reasons I do curbside. The current crew that brings my items to the car are the reason for the three stars. Today I'm calling the store trying to get a live human on the phone. Zero success. I've tried reaching guest services, electronics, and pressed 9 for all other departments. No one is answering the phone. After 3 minutes, my calls are disconnecting with exception of all other departments. When pressing 9 for all other departments/guest services/pick-up, it rang for nearly 10 minutes an no one answered. I'm very unhappy that I purchased a frame at the West Sacramento location but was overcharged. Perhaps a moron put the frame in the wrong slot. West Sacramento store will remedy it, but it's a 30+ mile round trip. And at $6/gallon and more than one hour driving, I'm not willing to go there. I'm angry I was overcharged and I'm angry that I didn't pay attention to the total. There's a phenomenal difference between $16 and $25. This Bird Cage location has previously been unwilling to answer the phone. Their dumb system also wouldn't process my EBT card in the past and their POS POS kept saying not authorized. However, I was able to make a purchase later the same day with my EBT. And there was balance available on the card. Parking, walking in, purchasing, all of it takes too long at this store. And with all of these problems I've encountered here, it's not worth my time. My frustration level with this store has far exceeded normal limits and I will no longer patronize this Target. read more

What a steal. For minime. Go here, it's one fo the bigger target. Right on Target. Target always carry fancy kitchen wares at affordable price. It's brightly lit. I think that's one of the thing that bring people in. The clothings, swimsuits were plenty to choose from. Food items are well organized. If you need children school supplies, this is place to go. Gifts for children birthdays, plenty to choose from. Always clean and nothing out of stock. It's located conveniently within a bookstore. Bestbuy, Starbucks, Macy's across the street, bath and body works, Michaels so on and so forth. Go here. TChipotle and Panda Express if you're hungry from all the walking and shopping. read more

Came in today to check out the 50% off Halloween decor, adult costumes and of course alittle candy. Lots of items still available. When you first walk in they have a few aisle of dollar items that would catch anyone's eye. Target actually has some good deals in these aisle that are not bad quality i am impressed. I definitely will be back for stocking stuffers this year. I also like that this location has a pharmacy and food section. Picked up some bread, apple juice and oranges while here tonight. read more

Racial profiling is absolutely real in this store. I came in just to get a few things and the same guy white woman kept walking up to me asking did I need something. I stood there for 10 minutes and she came 6 times! Finally, I came to the self check out and I was scrolling up and down on the screen to make sure I didn't forget to add something and the check stand person asked me 10 times did I need something within a 4 minute time span! I only have 5 items! Funny thing is a white couple came in with a dog and stole a whole basket of stuff yet they were hounding me and I actually purchased everything! No security, old white ladies chasing them or hound thing them at all! Probably stole hundreds or thousands worth of stuff! I highly don't recommend this store if your not white. Period. read more

This is my go-to Target location and go-to there a lot! LOL. It's a big one, and usually really well stocked and convenient. Tons of parking. Easy access right across the street from Sunrise Mall. The employees are not rude, and not overly friendly either. Efficient. I am writing this review to tell a story in hopes that the manager takes it to heart-about customer service. While I was shopping I stopped and tried on some earrings (which I bought). I took off my own earring and set it on the table while I tried on the earrings. It was an 18K gold earring with diamonds in it. I finished my shopping, grabbed some dinner, and went to a meetup group. So about two hours had passed. I realized I was missing an earring. My brain immediately remembered I never put it back on at Target, and I could literally picture it laying on the jewelry table. I quickly called Target and spoke to the customer service employee. I clearly explained where my earring was left. She put me on hold and came back and told me "So sorry it's not there, we looked everywhere. No one has turned it in. You should try calling back later to see if it's in the lost and found." I finished my meetup group. It was now four hours since I was shopping. I decided to stop back over at Target on my way home, just to see about my earring. I walked in, went straight to the jewelry table and my earring was sitting there exactly where I left it. I picked it up and left the store. Imagine how awesome it would have been if the customer service employee I phoned had actually looked for my earring and set it behind the counter for me!! Someone else could have taken it in the meantime after I called. I know it was my fault for forgetting it, but I think as a whole Target can do better for it's customers. read more

I stopped into this target at 11 AM on a Wednesday to get some traveling essentials that I need for a flight that I have tonight to Guatemala. The store is really pretty massive so it took me a while to find everything I needed. when I got to the front, there were only two checkers working and the south checkout line each having at least 20 people in line. A very rude woman who had a return cut in front of me, saying she only had one thing, but that's obviously not targets fault. after waiting for 15 minutes the checker had only made it through three patrons so I was forced to leave the line and abandon my cart so that I don't miss my plane. i'm incredibly shocked that for a massive target of this size they are only having two workers... Such a cluster !!!!! definitely will not be returning to this location and now I am leaving for my trip without anything that I need. this is why people are shopping online now because stores are understaffed and crowded with rude people. read more

The biggest thing that sticks out of this Target compared to others, is how extremely under staffed this location is. Especially for the check-out registers. Every time I come here it's busy and they only have 2 registers (plus the self checkout) open. This seems to be the only target that struggles with that, especially for a Target that's busy as this. read more

This Target has gone downhill in the past six months. The drive-up team has basically given up. We routinely don't get our full order -- it's probably every other time now, and it's not just one thing, it's an entire bag worth of stuff. They frequently list something as "out of stock" after you order it at a rate other Target stores don't; I'm assuming the workers here just decide they don't want to go look for something, so they list it as "out of stock." The two stars are for the fact that it's one of the cleaner Targets on the inside. Otherwise, it's very subpar. read more

When someone asks for help and they go to one of your sales associates who calls for help over the walkie you think that they would tell you we are busy or something to that effect at least. Target over W-Mart, allllll dayyyy! Not all Targets are the same. For me it's all about selection, item(s) availability and customer service. This particular Target is where it's at! Great customer service, great item selection - especially the shoe department it is very organized with a lot of women's size 7 shoes available! The women's clothing area is also surprisingly organized, and has a lot of my numerous sizes. I would definitely say that this is one of my favorite Target stores, for all of these reasons listed above. P.s. parking lot is pretty big too. read more

I tried working with 2 different Target stores trying to buy 2 new iPhone 15's and connect to services with Consumer Cellular. No one answered at the Birdcage Mall. Seriously, I think someone should call 911 and do a welfare check for the Birdcage Mall store. I have called seven different departments trying to get in touch with the Consumer Cellular activation (which according to their website is open until 8pm, it was 6:30 when I started calling) and have been disconnected seven times. I don't think anybody is over there. I think they all may have been murdered. I "talked" online to their customer service chat person who told me to call internal team on 800.440.0680. I called them and they were not at all helpful. I tried to call the Roseville store on Douglas Blvd. I asked the customer service person to connect me with consumers cellular activation. He told me that wasn't a department and there was no one in tech to help me. I said it was listed on their website and it said it was opened until 8pm. He hung up on me.
