I always loved coming to this location as I love the shopping center. 1- parking lot is ridiculous!!! They have nearly a whole lane for handicap parking-- nothing else-- (ie- expectant mothers, veterans etc) 2- my husband got the wrong size diapers for our baby and I went to return/exchange it and a cashier at customer service (Adrian) told me "they no longer have that kind of diaper in store -- other locations might but not this one" I asked if a manager can talk to me and so comes ANGIE. I've seen this Angie girl walk around the store acting like she owns the place and her $&@! don't stink -- ANGIE comes up, hands me my diaper back and says " so we don't carry this anymore and I can only give you your refund for the other kind--" she cuts me off before I ever able to even speak or say anything hands me my receipt and walks away. I'm so shook. I still go in from time to time and I see her acting all high and mighty-- girlfriend, you're not all that and need to chill tf out. read more

This store used to be good, but it's gone down hill fast in recent years. The chain's burning desire to turn themselves into a certain blue 'smiley face' rival is inexplicable. The aisles are becoming increasingly packed with promotional stands, and annoying music is piped through the sound system. But worst of all, the store seems disinterested in their customer's safety. My wife recently had her coat stolen by someone in this store. She brought it to store management's attention and they checked security footage, and saw someone pick it up when she wasn't looking and walk off with it. How did they correct this problem? They didn't! Nothing by a weak-sauce "we're so sorry" response. I emailed corporate and they told me someone would contact me about this situation. But nobody did. This incident makes my wife and I uncomfortable to shop here any more. I appreciate that dealing with thieves and shoplifters can be tricky for employees. But at least make an effort to right the wrong! Also, this occurred by the changing rooms (which rarely seem to have any employees around them). So it makes us wonder about customer security from creeps and deranged people (the potential for assaults, etc.). I don't know if it's incompetence, disinterest, or both. But either way, I think I'm done with this place. read more

Ok don't laugh friends but my favorite thing about the Birdcage location is they have the best clearance sections! Each time I shop this location I hit the clearance end caps first, and always find amazing deals on seasonal items, toiletries and makeup...I mean the good stuff! I like the layout of the store, I know it in my sleep so I can easily navigate through the store based on what I'm looking forward. Great selection of cards so I was able to purchase several for different occasions that are coming up, and some personal items. Team Members are always friendly and happy to help during the visits when I have questions. I also love the location, so I can grocery shop at Sprouts, hit the brow bar, the mall and Target, in the same area. read more

I have been frequenting this location for who knows how many years, especially around this time of year and it's truly a one stop shop! They sell ICEE, hot dogs, popcorn, pizza etc at their food area, they have a convenient Starbucks to get the energy to shop till you drop, a cellphone area, grocery section, photo center, an awesome Gift registry and so much more!! I would recommend this location for your shopping and hunger needs and especially around the Holidays theirs plenty of gift options here and not to mention the staff are very friendly and helpful whenever we come in! read more

The store continues to be a mess. It's Friday morning. There are two checkers open and half a dozen people waiting in each line management here obviously cannot do their job shortstaffed all the time and furthermore come in the front door to get a cart and there is trash in each cart filthy. Just did my first drive up pickup and it is an absolutely wonderful service!! Order online and you are able to stay safe in your car while your order is delivered and placed in your trunk! Easy to follow directions to use drive up delivery- I felt so safe and appreciate this great way to still shop for items that we need in a secure manner! Go Target!!! read more

We visited this target for the first time last night . We've always drove by it, but since we live closer to the one on Olson, we go there for convenience . As soon as we walked in, the first thing I noticed was how clean and organized everything is and how huge it is compared to most Targets. I could easily spend hours going through their huge selection of electronics , clothes, and home decor. My bf mentioned how he felt like he was in Ikea when browsing through the home goods section . They saw two old ladies lost in wires and took pity on us. They brought out multiple cords and chargers until we found the right ones. They broke into boxes for us (after we paid for them). I love the way this target is set up! You could do a circle around the target and clearly know where each department is. Also I asked a few questions during my visit and the staff was quickly there to help me. Although the produce aisle was low so that's while I gave it a lower star out of eggs and most vegetables. I work in the plaza and do a target pick up order a few times a week. It's usually it's busiest around the time I get off last week was no different. But I wanted to recognize Shane, the target employee who was maintaining the frenzy of cars picking up orders. He by himself catering to about 13 cars before relief came out to help him. This young man was running to the cart grabbing groceries and running to the cars to deliver. And apologizing for the wait. And when help came he kept it up. I hope he gets recognized for this dedication. He did not need to be working so hard but he was for the costumer experience and he is the reason I'm giving a 5 star review. I visited this store on 10/2/2020 at around 9:00 am. I was shopping in the wine area and the employee working in there was completely rude! No hi how are you, can I help you, just a look of distain and annoyance because I was in front of the area he was working on. Then I was in dish/ kitchen area and another employee came up to me and asked if she could move my cart because she had to stock that shelf. No greetings, no can I help you, zippo! The Citrus Heights Target is one of the more average stores in the region, even though the layout is a bit funky. This store is in the Birdcage Center near the corner of Greenback & Madison Avenues near Sunrise Mall. Parking is a little limited which may require a longer walk than normal. The layout is a little different than the standard Target layout, but they have all the usual items in stock. Avoid the front aisle near the checkout stands as they are very clogged with no room between the checkout lines and the product displays. I recommend heading straight to the back of the store upon entry. Wireless service also drops off for some reason inside the store. The store is relatively clean and well stocked which is nice. Nevertheless, it is a Target with all the Target stuff you want and need. Nothing special, but nothing really bad. read more

This is your average, run-of-the-mill Target. There's nothing glaringly bad nor glaringly good about it. If any detractor, it's the tendency for a homeless person (or 2, sometimes) to be seated in front in the very convenient space that seems designed for it. It is in a very convenient location and has plenty of other shopping, eating, banking, bookstores around it. The staff is friendly and will smile and ask if I need help finding anything. I have shopped at your store many times, but I was there the day before Father's Day,and the number of customers was not as many you would find on other holodays. My husband waited 20-25 minutes for the checker to complete a transaction for ONE CUSTOMER! I looked at the other lines and they were just as bad. ONLY 5 check stands open. It seems several checkers were having some difficulty with their transactions. I found out from another employee that ALL 5 checkers were new 4 checkers had quit. What kind of management throw their new employees in the bullring without having a manager to help out!!! read more

This Target is fairly large, equipped with a Starbucks. (YES!) (Are you familiar with the treat receipts at Starbucks? Come back after 2:00 with your morning receipt and get any grande cold drink for 2.00) WELL, Starbucks @ Target has the 2.00 Buy Back. Come back after 2:00, and get ANY drink, ANY size, for 2.00! That'll make you come back quick! Anyway, this Target has a lot of selections, and seems that they are always fully stocked, which I like! The workers are somewhat helpful, some nicer than others, but I never expect much. I do pretty well on my own when I'm in Target. I can go up and down all the aisles for hours and need no assistance. :) Will definitely come back to this one! read more

I like coming to this location whenever I am in the area this establishment is very clean with several different items they have a nice dollar section and some of the stuff is three dollars and some of the stuff is five dollars they always have really great sales going on throughout store this location also sells cell phones and this location has a very large electronics section they have a Very large women's selection and they have a very large selection of kids clothing and babies clothing plus the men's section is very large they have a very large grocery area with several different items this establishment carries a lot of namebrand shampoos and much more This establishment does not have a garden section I always end up with more than I plan on when coming here but I think that happens with everybody LOL the staff is very helpful and will help you find exactly what you're looking for this is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere very clean food court area very clean restaurants I highly recommend this location to anybody in the area very great store very great deals I look forward to my next visit here again very soon in the near future For more great stuff and more great deals read more
