I wanted to see what the hype was about 5 below. EVERYONE I knew was talking about this place; friends, co workers... and I needed to know about it. Can you say "Ballin on a budget?" The staff is warm and welcoming once you walk in. The inside of the store is bright and inviting, and very clean/organized. There is a little bit of everything here. Perfect to put together stockings for the holidays, easter baskets for the kids in your life, or cute little decor you may need for your house. They do have some gear for working out, arts and crafts, air pod cases, school supplies, clothes, shoes, make up, perfume, and much more. I stumbled upon this store out in Citrus Heights this past Tuesday I don't have any pictures to share, but I will say I love the immediate customer service as soon as I walked in the door! I wish I had the gentleman's name that was working on Tuesday, July 8 in the evening, he was super helpful! Also, I love their various items. I mean, it was definitely set up to catch your eye from all the various many items for travel, even back to school inventory. The whole layout of the store was just so impressive! Stopped in this store today and was very impressed with everything they had for Easter, science stuff, games, art supplies, candy and electronics and makeup. I was able to pickup a lot of stuff I needed and the customer service was good I only saw one girl working.. I wish they had cashiers you had to buy your bags, pack your stuff and that kinda took away from the shopping experience....other then that it was a nice store to shop at for all your needs. read more

Love this store. Staff is always friendly & welcoming. Very bright and clean. They have something for everyone and their pets. I like coming during the holidays for cool toys and holiday treats. For my dogs, dog treats and chew toys, we recently bought a nice ceramic bowl for one of our pups. I love their candy selection great to stop by if going to have a movie night at home. We even found some candy we haven't seen in years. I usually have to go to the specialty store in the mall. Nice to know I can find here too. After my cart if full, it's off to the register's, never a wait when I have come in as they have many available and all self check out. The friendly staff are nearby to help if you need it. Definitely worth stopping by if you have not already been yet or to see what new stuff they have in stock each week. read more

This five below was OK. The store seemed clean and the staff seemed nice. The organization of product was a bit messy but it seems like a busier five below so it makes sense. Just from personal experience of the five belows I've been to, this five below doesn't seem as attentive to the presentation of the products they sell yk? Older lady that rings you up at self checkout is rude and farted at me wwhen I was explaining something to her- very strange scenario

Been here a few times and have always liked looking at what they have. They have some items are pretty nice. Was able to get a couple things for Christmas presents one year. Will be coming here more often to do shopping for whatever I may need. I always have a good time coming to shop or to look around. read more

I came in here for the first time and I never leave reviews, but I came in and one lady help me that was nice. The two other workers who were clocked in talking by the checkouts, I tried to be nice and say have a good night and they proceeded to say fucking nothing to me. Service was rude, then stared at me when I was leaving like I was in the wrong?? Never coming back again! read more

I have been to this store more times then I can count since it's opened, apparently their "self checkout" is no longer self checkout since "February" which is odd since it wasn't a couple weeks ago when I went in. Fine whatever, if your having theft problems it's cool I get it. but when you have two employees struggling to check out one customer and then said employee who can't do her job alone get extremely snappy at a customer for simply trying to check out that's uncalled for and unprofessional. I wasn't upset about the ridiculousness of having self check out stands that are actually not self check out, I was upset with the way the situation was handled. I'm going to assume that the most recent review before mine is probably referring to the same woman. read more

This store has a little of everything. My young adult children like it and always find things to buy that they didn't go in to buy. Personally I'm not as fascinated as they are. A lot of knick knacks and things you don't necessarily need but priced to make you think you do. There are a few really cool things that for 5 dollars I think are pretty cool. read more

I absolutely love Five Below and I plan on going shopping here much more often. They have some really great gifts for any age or gender, snacks, party supplies, home decor, fitness gear, clothing, make-up, board games, toys, tech, it's wonderful. Pricing ranges from $1-10, layout of the store is really nice, and I honestly feel so giddy walking around because I feel like I want to grab everything. I can see this being a great place to find things to decorate your living room or dorm room, plan a date, sleepover, birthday/holiday party, set up your gaming area, etc. I've gotten items for family and friends here, I even went Christmas shopping here back on November/December 2020. This is the place to go for fun items. The employees are really nice. When you're done you go to self-checkout. One of my favorite stores. They enforce social distancing and have customers wear their masks. They have a hand sanitizing station inside as well. read more

Unfortunately we had a not so great experience from a front end employee. Wanted to charge for super thin no recyclable bags. Made a insulting comment. In looking further the store shouldn't be charging for the thin non recyclable bags .. these are not that same bags like target and other retailers who do charge. The bags should be free ! Seems the store doesn't need the business! read more

This is a great place for gifts or daily nick knacks you may need. Prices are awesome and everything is under 5 dollars. The quality of the items are in good quality. They didn't look cheap like some of the times from the dollar store. They even have some clothing items and shoes. We found found great cat blanket for my daughter that has a hood for her birthday! This store location rocks! VERY clean and tons of fun stuff for 5 bucks or less! I found some makeup brushes here to use in my craft projects that are $40+ at other retailers for a set of four, here they were $2-$4 each and I ended up spending $15 for the same set! These store are really geared for the young crowd, but it is fun to go and look. Staff here is a lot friendlier than the Roseville location too. Parking is lot style and if you go at lunchtime, be prepared to circle a bit as they share it with Marshalls and several other popular businesses. read more

It's a new store to go to when you're out and about, everything is about $5 or below, lots of toys for kids, a candy station, some cheaper home decor, some electronics. I bought a zen garden for $5 and a cute green throw! It's not the highest of quality but it'll do. The zen garden was my favorite purchase. I was not really greeted by anyone or helped by anyone which was fine, however a simple hello would do perhaps something to work on. Anyhow, it's a good place to take the kids on a budget!
