Target is like my church but I am not a fan of this one. They always seem to be out of something I need (this time it was my eye makeup remover cotton pads), and I can never make it out without wanting to cause bodily harm to SEVERAL inconsiderate, rude shoppers. I might also add that we could not find a shopping cart upon entering last time. Okkkk, basket it is. Target I love you, but this location needs some TLC. And your customers need some etiquette lessons! read more

This Target is a HOT MESS every damn time I go. The parking lot... ugh!!!!!!!!!! I prefer the one on Addison. IDK why but the staff is always kinda grumpy. Seems like they are always low stocked too, gets super crowded. I'll give it to them tho, they do a good job of keeping the few lines they do have open, moving. SMH, I was aggravated by the time I left. read more

This Target is a million times better than the South Loop location. The parking lot and surrounding traffic is also a million times more insane. It's almost always crowded, but if you come first thing in the morning it's usually not too bad. read more

Ok, so I must admit that I am so very glad for this big-box. I know, it's bad for local business, and urban sprawl, brings in yuppies like me...Guilty! So, with this in mind, some tips: Sunday nights are best if you must go on the weekend....Other than that, I couldn't say, it's always crazy, dirty, and understocked. Consistently. I've learned the trick to being able to exit onto Logan- there's one parking lane that's wider and of course leads right to the street! Target is famous for its clearances, but don't expect to find them here or at the one on Peterson. Just too picked over! read more

Oh Target. I hate myself for even considering you for a Yelp review but my resentment towards you has been building and I absolutely refuse to take it out on one of your staff since clearly there is a problem with how they are treated for them to treat me in the manner that they do. Cashiers: It would be really amazing if the cashiers paid attention to if you 1) have coupons 2) have brought in your own bags 3) be willing to call over someone who can fix their screw up instead of sending me to stand in line at returns for 20 minutes and then spend another 10 trying to explain what screwed up and what needs to occur to fix it. Service Desk: (well really just this one specific person because the others are OK): 1) you don't have to get an attitude with everyone returning something, why are you taking it personal?! 2) try to first ask me why I'm returning something and I'll be honest with you, I'm not trying to cheat or steal- so ask first and then decide if it requires you to scour items and ask accusing questions. 3) I recently read a couple of articles about how big companies are easing up on their returns policy this holiday season. This prompted me to buy about $600 worth of 'crap' from your store thinking that I could return it without any problems. Oh well! One of the items I used once and then decided that while I liked it I would much rather pay an additional $50 and have the model that is even better. 'Returns-Jerk' would not allow such a thing. I will still return this but now I'll buy the nicer version from Costco because you lack a proper customer service policy. I also returned almost everything else and will now buy things from Costco when possible even though your location is more convenient. At least C knows how to run a proper service-minded business. read more

Yes, I do agree with everyone else that this Target is always crowded. It's pretty easy to get to from the expressway and not far from downtown. I don't mind the crowds or the crazy parking lot. Target has everything that I need at an affordable price. read more

Can't even shop in peace without a worker secretly watching your every move. Very rude employees.

I hate everything about this Target. It's always crowded (Imagine a 15 minute line to check out!), and they are always out/low on everything in stock. I prefer the one that's on Addison, or in the West Loop over this one any day! read more

This is the worst Target I have ever shopped at. Parking is so bad especially on the weekends. The store is smaller then most Targets and they usually never have what you are looking for. I usually end up giving up when I come here, can't deal with all the people and they never have what I'm looking for. You also can never find anyone to help you either. read more

if you have been to one, you have been to em all however, in the city you may have a larger array of items to choose from... like alcohol :) during the holiday season i grabbed a "last second" bottle of wine for a gathering later in the evening. it was risk to buy wine from Target but hey, it wasn't bad. Cant say much about parking bc i rode in by bicycle but it did seem pretty hectic so prepare for that. read more

In and out quickly after buying $100+ of stuff and a smile / wink from the cashier!?!?!?! YEAH! and they are very friendly on Sunday. Love it, want to live here cuz they already have all the stuff I want. Parking is always easy and nobody has been mean to me here. But I bet that will change over time....j/k this place is what Jewel wanted to be in the 90's. read more

This Target is the worst! Its always SO crowded and impossible to find a parking spot, a shopping cart, or a short line at the register! But, it is Target so its a great store .. try to avoid this particular one. read more

Great service despite being December with all the crazy holiday shoppers! I was looking for something specific, this was the 3rd target and my final one before I would give up. The first two targets I went to did not care to try and help. Glad I came to this one! read more

This Target location totally sucks! It is always hard to find parking unless you go on really off hours. The aisles are always annoyingly crammed with unstocked products or people with no cart navigation skills. Does the GPS on your red cart tell you to park it in the middle of the aisle? More often than not, they are sold out of very common items too. read more

There are many reasons why I will continue to throw large amounts of money towards this Target: Maybe because there wasn't a Meijer in Minneapolis & therefore Target Corp. was my best replacement offer. Maybe because Target HQ is located in Minneapolis and I'm a loyal gal. Maybe because if you really look for the deals, cut the coupons, hit the endcaps, buy the generics, use your Target Visa, shop after holidays, etc. you can save an ungodly huge crapload of money. I will not begin to tell you how much money I saved on the Oil of Olay deal a couple of weeks ago. Maybe because I forgive the employee incompetence under the assumption that Bucktown is too far away for Minneapolitan execs to properly train and monitor Target employees. I feel your pain, Jillian G. Still, worth the trip and aggravation to find your own crap while red-clad knuckle-heads walk around aimlessly. When I equate it to the blue-clad Best Buy experience, I can then regain composure. read more

I like this Target. It is very busy though, but of all the big box stores in the city this is my favorite one because of selection, location, and general level of service. That said I'm only ever here to buy TP or pop. There is a decent grocery section here, although selection is limited, prices are not bad, better than convenience store prices. There are always enough staff here, even when busy, and the store is clean and new. If you don't like crowds and don't mind crazy parking garages, go to the Target on Addison, its less busy. I'm not sure why these two targets are so close together though. read more

It's Target, right? This store keeps me guessing where things are with seasonal stuff. I enjoy shopping here for home stuff and cleaning products, especially when I have coupons to redeem. I couldn't decide on a birthday gift for a little one so I decided to pick up a gift card instead. I've used the optical department but they stop accepting my insurance so I was forced to go elsewhere. I also think they limited choices. read more

Your typical Target. Clean, good location, great parking (a big lot!). Has a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut in store--extra-convenient. Strangely, a cell phone dead zone. read more

My go to Target in my neighborhood! Love the new renovations in the grocery section. I don't normally do grocery shopping at Target but I might start now to compare prices. This store is always busy and the parking lot is always full. The card selection is huge and I like to come here to buy my birthday/wedding/anniversary cards. Their book section leaves a little to be desired though. Before our trip to Hawaii we came here to buy books for our trip and we couldn't find anything we liked! And we're picky but not that picky. Let's step it up here Target! The store is clean and people are helpful here. It's good to have a Target 10 minutes from where you live. read more

For a city Target, its pretty well maintained, they just keep reorganizing shelves. I end up aimlessly wandering throughout the store, looking for someone in a red shirt. Not too many helpful employees around though... read more

I really enjoy this Target and always find ample parking when I go. This location can be very busy so I try to avoid going on the weekends if possible. The team members are friendly and very helpful when you need assistance. The prices are competitive and the store is very clean. There are always plenty of registers open at the checkout and there is cafe and Starbucks in this location as well. I always take advantage of the Cartwheel app and the Target debit card to save 5% each time. read more

They should really install some self checkout or at least have more employees working at checkout lanes.

Nice Target, a little bit on the busy side, especially the parking lot.

I find Target stores in general, oddly comforting. I like this store, a lot of groceries and produce at decent prices, they also have Gardein products and as a vegetarian and fan of Gardein, this fact is essential. You can also find Gardein products on sale occasionally, but beware, I'll buy all the crispy tenders and chipotle/lime tenders when they do go on sale, so don't say I didn't warn you. They also have Almond Milk and good frozen fruit (I use that stuff for fruit smoothies at home, awesome). Having said all that, stay away from this place, its already crowded enough, ha, I'm kidding, of course, feel free to shop here, have a Starbucks beverage and enjoy the odd comfort of the Bucktown Target store. read more

I love Target. Yes, it always jam packed, specifically after work or on the weekends, but its the closest to me, so the most convenient...I wish I was part owner of Target! read more

You know what's weird? The parking lot is always packed, yet the inside of the store is always fine. Why is that? Do people park here and then go somewhere else? Overall, an average Target. I like the one in the South Loop better because it is better organized and has the fun cart-escalator, but the Elston one always has what I need. The pharmacy is very busy and has a line of people any time of the day, though. read more

This target is ALWAYS packed, seriously, i have been across the street at the groomers at about 7:30am, (target opens at 8) and there are people sitting in their cars waiting for it to open and no they are not employees. This place has everything! you go in for qtips and end up with a cart full of stuff. floor associates are pretty nice and helpful and so are most cashiers but there are some that will make you wanna slap them. read more

Yes they have everything you need, but I'm not sure if I can brave the crowds here on a weekend ever again. There were one too many times where I literally couldn't push my cart down an aisle because it was too crowded. This place is the definition of a Catch-22... read more

This is still my favorite Target. I know where everything is (or used to). Didn't think I noticed that you switched around some cleaning products, eh? The staff is usually qute friendly and will happily let you know where anything is. Going on a weekend, however, takes a tremendous amount of patience. It is sooo crowded and you will be lucky if you get a parking space. But, you can spend hours here. No joke, it sucks you in. You go there for toilet paper and some groceries and you end up looking at clothes, home furnishings, and god knows what else with a Starbucks latte in your hand. But, that's the case for most Target stores, isn't it? read more

They have this incredibly rude cashier that gave me an attitude for no reason. I use to like going here but will try to avoid supporting a place with rude employees like her. It's not my problem she hates her job. read more

have difficulty in getting my size for clothes. always run out of size. Good selection for grocery, produce very limited.

I love this store, you can find something for everyone! The aisles are spacious and although the parking lot can get full, there is always a spot for everyone! read more

Target is Target. They have a decent selection at this location, however, I'm under-impressed by the quality of their produce. It's not a grocery store though, so maybe my standards are too high. The bigger issue here is they NEVER have enough cashiers at the checkout. Ever. It doesn't matter which evening or weekend time I go, I always find myself waiting in a line for more time than I should. One night I timed it, and it was over 15 minutes. I only had 2 items, and I spent more time in line than I even did shopping. I also don't appreciate the attitudes of the people checking me out. I've worked at a Target store before, and I believe this location is below the Company's standard. The only reason I continue to visit is because it's the most convenient location to where I live. read more

I was being followed around, like can people be any more obvious! Won't be coming back to this location. Please show your employees to work on their racial profiling a little better. Call it like I see it. I was wearing a green coat with a back pack and clear glasses. read more

I have to say I do love target.....they have come a long way since opening this location...the customer service still needs a little more work as they dont generally offer a helping hand when its clear you are looking for something, however, who can resist the place! read more

Target blows, but sometimes you can't wait the two days Amazon will take to get you your shit.

I predict that this store is going to change its name to WAL-MART. . . Parking is Terrible. WHY would they put a parking garage around the side of the building that you have to walk what seems like a mile to enter the main entrance, which is a main entrance because that is where they put them in the suburbs ! My car was hit in the parking lot once by a 1988 Chevy Astro van. We got the license plate, but the police would do nothing about it. The shelves are ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS bare in this place NO MATTER what time you go. Take a trip to the south loop and visit the 2 story one at Roosevelt and Clark. AVOID THIS STORE LIKE THE PLAGUE read more

A Target insider once told me that this location of Target moves the most amount of merchandise in the whole united states. Which would explain the empty shelves- but also means that they restock faster!! just come back in like 2 days and you'll have it. I make weekly stops to this location, and i've never not found what i need. As for the shoppers- if you go on sunday, of course its crowded and of course youre not going to find parking. duh. read more

I love target! But i hate this store. There is a huge parking lot, but there is never parking. I really dont understand why anyone goes to this one. I've been here a number of times, and each time half the shelves have been empty. No one wants to help you and the other shoppers are just plain rude. read more
