They are decor items for the most part in addition to towels and blankets and lamps and toothbrush holders. They have 2 hour free parking with validation. I went to to HomeGoods to check it out. It's the second time I've gone. My experience was not the best to hear. One of the managers talk about her employees not in a good way. I have no name but she's a dark skin one. The store is horrible unorganized shower curtains all over the floor you go to floral and that's all a disaster. Kitchen goods are all over the floor. You can't ask the manager nothing because everything is over there rude as hell. I do have to say that I ran into two Latin women who were organizing and stocking the shelves. very helpful & pleasant willing to help you and walk you to the area where you can find the item not to say it's over there to my opinion, the store is overcrowded and if you only have two employees for this whole floor to organize it, then I think the manager shouldn't be talking about her employees. she should be joining them on the floor. working hand-in-hand with them not going around walking like it's not her business, beside being rude she's very unprofessional Because I saw the ladies section look awesome. The store failed to honor item prices as marked. I purchased two identical items (same color, size, etc.). There was no difference the items were on the same shelf. However, they had different prices. The manager refused to honor the lower price for both items. He claimed the price tag was in error. By law, the store had to honor that price. He did me no "favor" by doing so. It is shocking that as a courtesy and in the course of good business and service, that he absolutely refused to sell both items for the same price. A difference of a couple dollars obviously will not break me. However, it is a extremely small amount of money to show good faith to customers. It made no sense that I was told that I had to pay a higher price for an identical item because an employee likely made a mistake. For all I know, The higher priced item was the mistake, and he chose to say that one was the correct price. Customers should never be left feeling cheated. Honor the best price marked for the customer as a matter of good faith and fair dealing. The manager had the nerve to tell me that "he should" charge the higher price for both items because of the mistake." Well that would have been illegal since it would have been a price markup/switch at the point of sale. Horrible customer service! This is one of the better HomeGoods locations in Chicago for finding a wide variety of kitchen and home items. I also like the underground parking lot connected to the building and they validate parking. And the fact that you can also visit Trader Joe's or Aldi's right next door is nice too. Even though this store has so many items the appearance never comes off like a junky store with products everywhere. And I always tend to get lucky in finding exactly what I need at this store---unlike other stores where I leave empty handed. I found a set of mixing bowls with a wide flat bottom which works nicely on my countertops instead of using the traditional round shape bowls. If you allow for time you can pretty much find anything you need for your home at this store. Each time I have gone I haven't been disappointed. read more

I always find great deals on good quality items at this store, I have been shopping here for many years . When I was there on 03/16/25 and asked where something was, the supervisor nearby made sure that a staff member walked me over to show me where the item was located. My friend and I love HomeGoods stores. This location offers a great place to shop and we visit every time she comes into town. Located on a busy street, it is easy to get to. There is street parking as well. There are other stores nearby, making this neighborhood a small shopping center. Great restaurants in the area allow for shopping and dining without having to go far. Inside you'll find the typical HomeGoods store. It is packed full of fun decor from small items to large. There are tons of inventory for all departments. HomeGoods seems to have to most extensive decorative pillow selection at all of their locations. I love that they arrange things by color in each department. If you are looking for vases or shower curtains or bedding, you will find it. And it will all be nicely arranged by color. There are lamps, furniture kitchen utensils and holiday items. The pet section is always fully stocked with beds, treats and toys. Of course the check out area has tons of small, last minute item to peruse while you wait to pay for your items in your cart. Of course I pick up a couple of extras before I get to the cash register. The staff is always helpful. On my last visit, the gentlemen at the front of the store was exceptionally welcoming. Home goods is a great place to find home goods you don't find anywhere and inexpensive. Beautiful home decorations that are impressive for home and gift giving. I love, love, love shopping there. Nice place to spend time looking at everything. Clean, some have theme, etc. They have a bunch of stuff for the home but the place wasn't cluttered at all, you can actually browse the store and see all the items without having to "pick" thru an entire area. For the sake of my wallet I had to drag my better half out of the establishment because she kept finding things she had to have! Prices are reasonable on most items. I was racially profiled as a black woman.IN this store by a Hispanic or Mexican decent loss prevention guy earlier this month. I was very uncomfortable during my shopping experience and, I paid with cash at the register. No one should be followed in a store if on the cameras, there is no proof of that individual shop lifting. Same incident happened to me at the location on Elton. Loss prevention guy was of the same ethnicity. I called to complain to both store managers on both separate incidents. I requested the camera footage to be pulled for further investigation. My request was unmet. No investigation was done on the matter. HomeGoods can't allow their loss prevention crew to follow or profile you in the store. That is an immediate lawsuit. I will be speaking to an attorney on the matter. This is unacceptable! read more

HomeGoods is my favorite chain for decorator accessories. This location is in the same building as Trader Joe's and Aldi, and they share free validated underground parking... especially nice in the winter or when it's raining. The store took a few years to get it all together, but it's now well stocked with a wide variety. The staff is friendly and really knows their merchandise. What I especially like is that I can call ahead and ask them to check if they have a particular item in stock (like the teal pillows I recently bought here)... a lot of stores won't do that anymore. Last week, I wanted to put together a creative Halloween gift to cheer up a friend recovering from surgery. Sharif was arranging a display when I asked him for help. He stopped arranging and quickly searched aisle after aisle, coming back with a dozen things he put on the counter. I picked five items I thought my friend would like best (some decorative and some funny)... then Sharif found a sturdy gift box to hold everything. He even reminded me to include a Halloween card. Above and beyond the call, Sharif! And that's what I really like about HomeGoods. I was able to find everything I needed in just one store (gift, box and card), and in only a few minutes. "HomeGoods" is one of my favorite stores to poke around, even though I don't make a purchase every time I'm there, for I have a pretty good self-control. One of the ways for me to save money is to convert my credit card reward points to TJ Maxx corporation gift cards. In case I need or want something for the house, these gift cards will come in handy. This location is much tighter than the one on Elston in Logan Square. Almost every aisle allows one (1) individual to pass through at a time. When I was there, the merchandise was quite full. As always, picking through clearance sections could be a pain. Many packages were opened and resealed, especially for bedsheets, pillow cases, and duvets. These phenomena were to be expected in high-volume retail stores. I personally think prices for most furniture at HomeGoods, or just at TJ Maxx and Marshall's in general, are competitive. I have been spending a good amount of time decorating our basement and guest bedrooms upstairs. There are a tables, ottomans, and accent chairs that are on my wish list. I believe customer parking is available behind the store. Other local and national home decor and furniture retailers are also in close proximity, which makes it worthwhile to drive over to the neighborhood. CTA Red Line station (North/Clybourn), #8 (Halsted), and #72 (North Avenue) bus stops are within a walkable distance as well. read more

They have so many great products, and the prices are reasonable! The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because normally when I go, they are understaffed. There's no one floating around for questions, and the lines are always long. Today, I tried purchasing an item, but when I went to the counter, I had to ask the manager a question. The manager said that "Erika" would take me next (long line). The cashier refused to let me in, even after I told her that the manager said she could help me out. She was really rude and also said that the manager was not paying attention and should not have told me that she could help me. There is no reason to be rude or have an ego. HomeGoods on Clybourn at Wisconsin, has opened in Lincoln Park. This had been the location of Crate and Barrel Outlet which chose not to renew their lease and left. Since HomeGoods took it over the store's interior has seemed to expand, it looks much larger on the inside? This is not one of the larger stores that HomeGoods has, the isles seem close together, but it is packed with all the wonderful deals that HomeGoods is known for. The staff was wonderful, every time you turned around there was someone to help you. Of course the staff talked to me repeatedly, about saving money and opening up a HomeGoods charge, which I politely declined. In addition, they have free indoor parking at this location. The only downfall I saw was the steps that you have to walk up to get into this store. There is a lift for anyone who needs it, but there might be a problem getting down the stairs with all the purchases and out the door. Smaller than the Bucktown and suburban locations, but packed with good stuff. It can be a little difficult to look through things because they need to stack closer/higher due to space. Even so, I loved the furniture and found a unique trunk dresser here in the size I wanted, after several disappointing visits to the Elston location. It's okay. Their shelves were full when I went but the layout is atrocious! Super tight aisle, no logic in the placement of sections, and super crowded. They needed more retail space. Plus if you park on the street there's no way to get a shopping cart down the stairs to your vehicle. The elevator only goes to the garage and not the street level. read more

There's a free parking garage (when your ticket is validated by the cashier) and elevator to help with easy access. I had a return, wanted to open up a credit card and make a big purchase yesterday; for a transaction that i thought was going to be an hour, was only 15-20 minutes. I couldn't wait for this store to open but to my surprise it turn out bad!!! The customer service is not at all good. I was waiting in line for the next cashier to become available which there was only one cashier @ 3:30 in the after noon opened. What makes me furious is dad when she was done with her customer she tells me that somebody will be there to help me out in a few minutes I waited 10 minutes in line for some for another cashier to come and open nobody came I had to yell out is there any more cashiers available. Than I started complaining to the cashier and she offeredfor me to talk to the manager actually she called the manager over but he was too busy with two other workers laughing & chatting away he had no time to speak with the complaints get customer. I did two separate transactions and the manager never came over and he was standing a few feet away we literally had to go and the cashiers cordate me to where he was standing talking to the other workers and laughing this store is in what I imagine it would be I would never go back to that store and give my money to them. I love this store. Although it is small, it has amazing merchandise! The furniture selection is great, but you have to get it quick. The store is crazy on the weekends, but nice and quiet during the week (when I like to shop). The parking is hit or miss. Some people don't understand the validation process (2 hours free). The parking is also free on the streets on Sunday. I have always had good luck with the staff and appreciate the help carrying items out.
