For reference, I'd been to two Targets in Los Angeles- the two in/near Culver City. Both always depress the hell out of me. Something about the lighting is all wrong, there's something smothering about the air, parking and crowds are always an ordeal, and I always leave feeling like some of my soul has been sucked out of me. I've been going to this target ever since it opened in Carson & today was the worse shopping experience I encountered. The associates and management basically accused me for a target gift card that was not scanning and was not willing to offer assistance or a solution to my purchase. Luis the manager was very petty & he kept saying he's trying to help when he didn't do anything to help me but offered to ring up my purchases again! Times like this when people are trying to save money during this pandemic even if it is $5 they should offer assistance for a TARGET GIFT CARD THAT DID NOT SCAN. I love this Target! They have so much more variety in women's clothing compared to other locations (especially from the Cerritos location). I hadn't stepped into this one for quite some time, but recently they have stepped up their game!! This last visit was to kill some time, so I only had about 15 minutes to browse, but I wish I had more time! I was just really impressed by their selection and that the shelves were full and organized. Maybe I came on a good day, but i will definitely return to this location with more time and shop around, which is saying a lot because I am not a browsing shopper (I go in for what I need and out as fast as possible). Okay so I was looking for those underarm sweat pads to not ruin your clothes. I sweat a lot, it sucks. I walked in and the store is moving things around. Trying to get in and out and hide my embarrassment, I decided to find someone right away. I asked a girl named Stephanie who was restocking. She was super nice and laughed at my slightly awkward questioning for this odd thing and directed me in a few areas it might be. After coming up short in first direction, we went to second. In best efforts to just get this shameful thing over with, I asked another man (I think his tag said supervisor?) who also said he didn't know but then proceeded an all scale assault on helpfulness. He jogged over to ask another associate for help because he assumed maybe it was feminine in nature. As I'm following, leaving my boyfriend behind in the process because this man has solutions. He then starts spitballing ideas for where it could be while simultaneously calling for another associate. At this point, everyone at this target knows I'm sweaty. While trying to bail, he gets the female associate. It's Stephanie. Again. We laugh, I thank thank them both because this whole time all they've done is try to help me with this stupid thing and the worst part? We never found them. read more

Entered information to the app to notify them of my arrival and within 5min received an email my order was cancelled. How the fuck do they cancel something I was told was ready for pick up. I come to this one mostly during my lunch break on new release Tuesdays when they happen to have Target Exclusive CDs where there are extra songs and can only get it at Target stores. Like many people in the world, I have a love for target I just can't describe. My daughter thinks we have to visit a store every week, we love browsing which turns into a cart full of "essentials". I typically like to call ahead to speak with customer services if there is an issue or question I have so I'm not thrown off and the same for the employees. This particular day (10/14) I spoke with someone in customer service who answered my questions and gave me feedback and told me to come on in. I came in and that particular employee was busy assisting another customer, which I dreaded because I knew I would have to explain to someone else. That someone else just so happen to be the best employee target has.... JACKIE ! Jackie has so much patience and when the line behind me was getting long she still provided amazing customer service and instead of rushing me she called for assistance for the other customers. If only each store I shop at had a Jackie. read more

Ironically, I went to Target to search for a game called "Spot It"which was a task to find it. The aisles with the games were quite a bit of a mess and also not a lot of options. If I could give zero I would, I frequent target and I enjoy the store and have never had a problem here until today, as most folks we are strapped for cash so when I come I try to price match with Walmart and I have done it several times at this location, i price match beer and alcohol because I don't want to go to Walmart, today les and Samantha through the interference on that saying they don't do it, they then proceeded to harass me by trying to shoo me off by informing me that security was being called, for what I just wanted a clarification, then they called the manager Jonathan over and they brought the book out where it clearly said they don't price match with online only stores like Amazon, the last time I checked Walmart wasn't online only, I think they crew made a mistake but I will no longer be coming here for the way they made me feel, I really hope Jazz the manager looks into this and I will definitely be calling on Monday morning and I recommend the Walmart in 190th instead of this dump!!! read more

This review is for the curbside pick up. This is the second time doing this curbside & BOTH TIMES the employees (girls) had a damn attitude but let me tell you about the SECOND TIME (today). She was tossing my orders in the trunk. When I mean toss, I really mean fucking toss. I was on FaceTime & even my friend heard all the noise. Not only that, the bag she threw on top of my boyfriends expensive ass speaker was glass bottles... I got home & when I opened the trunk, food was out of the bags. If you don't like your fucking job then quit & find something else. If you got a stank ass attitude, work at the back of Target & nowhere around customers. Mind you, I didn't even give her attitude for her to be tossing/dumping my orders in the trunk with that much force. This target is usually my go to. The selection is good and the staff is friendly... unless you go to the tech section. There's always a shortage of employees in tech. However, i went there yesterday and found there were about 4 employees hanging around the cash register. There were about 3 groups of customers waiting around for an employee to show up but they were just talking. Worst of all, there was one female employee who had her mask down under her chin and had her finger in her mouth. She had it in there for quite some time and about 2 minutes later, i saw her handling another customers items. No, she did not go and wash her hands. Overall I'm a great fan of Target. I love that the setup of the stores are the same so I'm usually good at knowing what aisle to visit to get what I want without having to walk through the whole store. The employees are very friendly however they are not always knowledgeable about the products. A great tip is to find what you want online then purchase it and pick it up at a nearby Target. This will save you a lot of time and effort. Once you've received confirmation that your product is available for pickup, visit the customer service counter, show your ID and voila!, you have your item. Be sure to ask for a gift receipt, otherwise you can print one online from your order. read more

I had a very strange experience with this Target. I went in and bought my daughter a shirt that I liked... I little more than I wanted to spend on a toddler outfit but I liked the shirt. I got home and noticed their was a long thin plastic tag in the sleeve which indicates usually a second piece that goes with the outfit. I went online and looked up the shirt and sure enough I'm missing the pants that comes with the outfit. Now here's the part that gets me... there were at least 4 or 5 shirts all hanging on the rack like this in different sizes and NOT ONE HAD A PAIR OF PANTS ATTACHED. so im wondering if this target is ripping off its customers and breaking up two piece outfits. I am sitting on eternal hold right now trying to get someone to fix this situation... either return half my money or find me the pants!!! Now the crotch that answered the phone is arguing me about how long I sat on hold. I was on hold for 9 minutes and hung up... I looked at my timer on my phone... she informed me I was wrong and it was no more than 2 minutes... I wrote this review while I was on hold. it didn't take me 2 minutes to write the review. A staple for modern shopping needs. Convenient location for me and my family. Has a fairly large parking lot. Stock can be an issue for some items and cash register lines can go by slowly. But all-in-all, I'm just happy there's another Target in Carson. read more

As far as Targets go, this one is clean and well-organized. Aisles are huge, with most items in stock. Lines are wonderfully short. If leafing through an US Weekly is the highlight of your day, it'll be a quick glance. Fortunately I haven't had the bad luck Curious George and Julie Ann encountered in their previous visits. This Target location is all right. It's not as good as some I've been to, but it has the essentials. It's in a great location though because it's next to so many other stores that you can conveniently access without moving your car, especially the IKEA. If you hold a TARGET card, this is a great place to get your prescription filled up. TARGET credit card gives you 10% OFF for a full day of shopping if you fill up 10 prescriptions, but you have to sign up for the promotion first, even though you have the RED CARD. I didn't know it back then and now I use my card just for the fill up. I have two young kids and everyone that has kids knows that they pretty much get sick almost every other month, specially if you have two it's back to back and then pass it on to you! The cost is great too, depending on your prescription plan, and the wait time is about 15-20 minutes. Enough time to look around the store. I rate this pharmacy a five because of the cost and the RED CARD promotion. I separated it from the store because the pharmacy staff are friendlier and knowledgeable of their product, I would rate the store on a separate occasion. Cashier had both her hands in her pockets while waiting for me to take my card out and swipe and etc and had one hand in her pocket while scanning my merchandise and punch it in the cashier. Made me feel bad for the fact that she was working there but then I realized why the heck should I feel bad for someone who hates their job and makes their customers feel bad?? I hate this Target. They are not coupon friendly at all. Every time I use a coupon the cashiers seems bothered. The supervisor there...doesn't know how coupons work either and has refused to take mine for items the coupon is for. Every other Target I go to takes my coupons without any hassle.
