Convenient location that is adjacent to 405 fwy. Huge Target. Thats all the good that I can say. We all are going through the coronavirus outbreak/panic. We cant even go to our local grocery stores without experiencing a line full of selfish stockpilers and hoarders who have everyone in their family grabbing all the shit before we can get to it. So we must travel elsewhere to find what we need. I used the Target app to check stock availability of everything that was on my shopping list. Out of all the Targets within 10 miles, this Carson location had the most "In stock" items. Which means that stock shows 3 or more. No items showed up as "Limited stock" "Limited stock" means that stock shows 2 or less of an item. I checked stock status a few hours after Target closed and the morning before it opened. There were no discrepancies. All items show that they were in stock. So I planned my trip to this dump. Made it here about an hour before opening. The line was already 18 deep. Bunch of loud punks in line, in front of me. Cars started driving up. More punks started getting out. They were going straight to the punks in front of me and getting in line. Couldn't believe this shit. I cant stand bitches like that. I was going to say something. But you cant reason with an idiot. I didnt feel like slap boxing and catching coronavirus. So I ignored the shit. Bunch of fat out of shaped male and female bitches that I will eventually pass when I get inside store. Since Im in better shape and they cant stop eating. By the time the store opened, the line behind me was wrapped around the T Mobile store. The Target team member let about ten people inside. One of the punks in front of me said "man hurry up and let us inside." The team member said it was crowded. Please be patient. Meanwhile the punks that were browsing the store were getting most of the scraps that were left on shelves. Once I was able to get inside, I noticed that there was a long line for toilet tissue. There was a Target team member standing next to all items that had a 1 per household limit. Shit included toilet tissue, paper towels, isopropyl alcohol, any disinfectants, etc. Of course the bitches who let all of those punks in line were all getting 1 of each item. SMMFH. Glad I didnt need any of that shit. I went straight to the location of everyone of my items, using the store map. EVERYTHING ON LIST WAS SOLD OUT. I didnt see anyone in store with any of the shit on my list (eggs, grits, etc). So I asked a fee team members if I got to those items late. They all said that they havent had eggs and grits in a week. Wtf!!!! Why the hell does it show stock? Bait and switch. They got us here based on fake stock. Once you get here, there is nothing here to buy. I came all the damn way out here for nothing. I ended up going to a small mom and pop market to get all my shit. Sure it costed more. But I was shocked that they had everything that I wanted. read more

Imagine purchasing Plan B over the counter but the pharmacy cannot ring you up in a private manner they do with all other prescriptions. You have to walk through the store and stand in line with 15 people standing close to you and watching what you purchase. It's like the commercial where the teen buys condoms and the clerk can't get the barcode to register so she yells over the intercom "Price Check on strawberry flavored condoms" Yes that's exactly what happened to me today at Target. Inside of Target is the CVS pharmacy they have a policy. You cannot purchase over the counter items from target at the pharmacy. Since something like Plan B is no longer a controlled med it's over the counter. It was pretty stressful for me but I cannot imagine what it would be like for a teen. Nothing is private anymore and Target has made that clear. I tried to speak with the store manager but she was not in today. The store and parking lot are always clean, the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and they are always stocked up. I love Target! It's typically clean, well organized, and easy to move around. In my experience, that is true of this location most of the time. I don't typically come looking for anything specific. If I am, I look online to confirm it is in stock before heading to the store so I never have an issue there. However, it has been very frustrating to shop for certain items since they have added additional locked cases through several aisles. Every time I go to grab something from these cases, it's a 15 minute or longer wait. The employees are always helpful and apologetic about the wait, which I appreciate. I think it would be helpful if they had someone stationed in that area to unlock the cases, like they do in the electronics section. read more

I just came from Target at this location around 3:30pm on 2/20/24 - Avalon Blvd. There were two teenage boys that were offering candies/chocolate in exchange for voluntary monetary contribution(something like Girls Scout to that effect). I passed by them and asked how much. One boy said $5. I'll think about it on the way out I said. On my way out they both started their offer again. I said I'm alright. The teenage boy in white sweater exclaimed that I was a liar and started saying something about God and the Bible on lying. This was my first time to encounter such a situation. Volunteers are always respectful and courteous except this intimidating teenage boy in white sweater. Please let their area leader know. Thank you. Today around 4 I went to look for a some ingredients for chicken soup since my mom is sick at the moment, so I am super stressed. I went and a worker noticed me and asked if I needed help and I told her I was looking for groceries and she told me that I can have someone get the things for me if I needed, but I told her I was okay but thank you. I needed to go here for a quick stop to get what I was running out of which is fluoride free tooth paste. The darn store is crowded as heck and I couldn't wait to get out. I wanted to stay longer and buy other things as well but I don't like the crowds. What I really disliked is that the cashier asked me if I needed a bag. That's such a a stupid question because I need a freaking bag to carry the stuff I buy of course! It shouldn't even be a question. Terrible customer service. Ordered items for pickup (about 30 items), was told everything was ready to go. My wife picked up the order in a rush, was told it was complete. Got home and more than half the items were missing. I went back to find out what happened, had to wait 10 minutes for someone to help me. Eventually someone went to go find them - came back 10 min later and said they were missing. Went into the back again and 5 min later came out with the bags and handed them over. Never an apology for the mistake and wasting 45 min of my time total to come back and pick up the missing items. Extremely uncaring staff - I honestly couldn't believe how indifferent everyone was. I could've spent a much longer time in here, it's a pretty big target. Line went fast and they have a good selection of everything you could need and then some. I love that they're still making people work who are clearly sick? The cashier I encountered was coughing like crazy right in front of me. It wasn't the regular cashier place that I went to, I was at the one that they just placed in the middle with a little cart on it. So there was not much distance between us, nor any plexiglass. The dilemma: I had to run into Target to quickly grab a few toiletries, like hair gel and deodorant. I asked Andretta, a Target employee, who was walking the sales floor, where I could find the hair gel section. Andretta took the time to walk me over to the appropriate aisle, but, unfortunately, my normal hair gel brand had been cleared out. Andretta looked up the product SKU code, told me there were three still in stock, and asked me if I wanted her to check the back. I asked her if she could check, and off she went! I like this location better than the one on Bellflower Blvd. in Long Beach. It appears that they did a light remodeling as the store appeared brighter and newer. Huge new wine and spirits area, and found everything I was looking for with ease. Avalon Target and Sepulveda Target are like the Bloods vs Crips of Target around here, for reals! hahaha! I love this particular Target differently from the one of Sepulveda because it's close to my college and the 24 Hr Fitness gym that I go to. I love how this Target is literally right next to a Radio Shack, Carson Mall, Chili's, Ikea, WINGSTOP, Jamba Juice, etc. and that's a pretty big plus in my book. This is one of those Targets that you go to to get a heavy metal album because the area's pre-dominantly Black & Latino, therefore most of the rap albums are damn near sold out at times. It's like going to the Compton Best Buy if you live in Torrance and you choose to drive all the way down to the one in Compton because they ran out of the new Tim Mc Graw cd or something like that. But really, this Target's not bad at all, not extremely hood/ghetto like the Wal-Mart on 190th. I mean, c'mon! Target's awesome and I don't care if one of them were rumored to be against gay marriages or something, but I heard they apologized, but honestly, when it comes to Target as a damn store, it doesn't F'n matter because Target rules!!!!!!! Parking isn't bad at all because it's a huge lot that is shared with the other businesses I said above that are around this Target unless you are lazy as hell to actually walk! I love working out at the nearby 24 Hr. Fitness, then after my work out, I usually hit up the Jamba Juice that is next to this Target, then after I get my Orange Dream Machine, I drink it while walking around this Target and it's extremely convenient to the point where sometimes I don't even have to go to the Carson Mall because a lot of the stuff I want are at Target. read more

I love this Target! They have so much more variety in women's clothing compared to other locations (especially from the Cerritos location). I hadn't stepped into this one for quite some time, but recently they have stepped up their game!! This last visit was to kill some time, so I only had about 15 minutes to browse, but I wish I had more time! I was just really impressed by their selection and that the shelves were full and organized. Maybe I came on a good day, but i will definitely return to this location with more time and shop around, which is saying a lot because I am not a browsing shopper (I go in for what I need and out as fast as possible).
