I bought a sofa back in March of 2021 from Naders's Furniture in Carson, CA. It all seemed fine with the delivery until early this week (July 2021), I changed my living room around and discovered a huge gash that was cut in the back of my couch! My guess is when the delivery guy cut the plastic off he cut too deep and slashed my couch and they left and NEVER SAID A WORD as if nothing ever happened!! Customer Service refuses to replace it! We called the store and to find out they had discontinued this couch because alot of people had the same issue. I saved for so so long to get a really really nice leather sofa. I also bought the guardsmen protection plan on it. They did not stand behind anything that happened to the sofa. I might as well have not bought the sofa or the protection plan. They were both crap. Now I have a preppy sofa that got ruined super easy and should not have came apart, the material and gotten so worn so fast And they did not stand behind their product at all. All I have to say is please do yourself a favor and find a furniture store with better customer service. I recently needed to have a couch replaced after the spring broke in my original one only two days after receiving it. It took over three weeks of getting the run around, and having two separate technicians sent to my home, before I was able to get a replacement. Although it took a while to get the issue resolved, my problem lies with the customer service rep (I believe her name was Alisa? She's literally the only person that works in the customer service department). She was very rude from my initial encounter with her and was dismissive after I informed her that my couch still wasn't fixed after the second technician was sent to my home. The two sales reps that I spoke with in store (Nancy and Gina) were nice, but just save yourself the trouble and go to one of the bigger stores with a more helpful and respectful customer service department. I would hate to purchase something else from this store only to have it break and have to deal with their poor customer service department again. read more

I was in a rush to buy a dinning table for my new apartment. The bigger furniture chain stores would make mistake after mistake and they would lie about their services. The table I ordered wasn't available for 35 days after being told it will only take a few business days before it is ready for pickup. Customer service was almost non-existent. Nader was my last attempt to find a dinning room table. Nader's in Carson and Long Beach were extremely helpful from the moment I called to inquire about a specific model. It was the end of the day. They took me in last minute and allowed me to find the right table and without having to pay for the whole set as I already have chairs. Right before they closed, they informed me that I would need to pick up the table at their warehouse located 2-3miles away but... they close in 10 minutes. I didn't want to wait another day eating without a table(my college dorm days are long over). The nice lady said, I think you can make it if you hurry over! As I was racing to get there before the warehouse closed, I showed up 5 mins after. The manager at the warehouse saw that I was in a rush and did not hesitate to still help me out even though I made it there passed the closing time. Employees were helpful and loaded the table in my truck. The table is nice, not a single flaw. Quality wood and easy assembly. I'm loving it! I'm definitely coming back. Oh gosh , I just read the reviews....for us we went everywhere looking for furniture ... we ended up here and purchasing leather couches with power recliner , rug , divider and a dining set.... Miguel was nice and accommodating , we got the 5 year warranty and had it delivered the other day .... I purchased a leather recliner from Nader's Carson store in May 2021 . I Purchased the under 750 Elite Warranty. I was told by the sales person the warranty covers the wear of the leather. Now it's three years later and the leather is peeling on both arms of the chair. Contacted the warranty department and file a claim and they tell me the warranty doesn't cover peeling so I called the store to speak to the person that sold it to me, she said she thought that it cover that so she gives me the number to Nader's customer service department. I called left messages no response. So Friday 9/6/2024 I call all day and after 3:00 pm the customer service manger by the name of Lisa Ochoa answer the phone I explain my whole experience with this purchase and she tells me it's not cover by the warranty she was so dry and unconcerned and said it was nothing she could do about my issue. I have made multiple purchases from Nader's in the last 2 years. I purchased a couch from Nader's in December 2020. In March the USB plugs stopped working. They sent a technician out and he said he needed to order the part. I have followed up multiple times, we are now at the end of July and they still don't have a date when the part will be in. I also ordered a dresser in May, they stated it was already on order and would be available in 4-6 weeks. Again, here we are at the end of July and they don't have a date for this either. This is a really really small Nader's. All the furniture is so packed you can barely see everything. The girl who helped me was patient, but the other two looked so busy on the computer that it seemed they were looking at Facebook with a straight face. I actually bought a mirror drawer chest from another Nader's. The hubby liked it, surprisingly because it matched my mirror vanity from Pier 1 imports. Back in 2003 we bought a living room set which included a sofa, loveseat, 2 end tables, a coffee table and 2 lamps, plus a sofa for our den, along with a dinning room table w/ 6 chairs and a rocker, we are now looking to buy a new leather sofa from Nader's once again. In these tough economic times it seems that instead of companies lowering their prices they are actually raising them. Knowing this fact I was a little nervous when my girlfriend made the suggestion to me that we should move from our little place out in Glendora down to the more expensive (much more) downtown Long Beach. Since times are so tough I knew that it would be difficult for my girlfriend and I to find a great deal on furniture for our new place. Since our new place already came with such amenities as a fridge, washer, dryer, microwave, stove, and dishwasher, and since our bed is only a few years old all we really needed to purchase was a new living room set. We had visited a bunch of major furniture stores like Ikea and Living Spaces but they wanted way too much. Then we decided to hit all the independent shops that are all over Long Beach and Los Angeles. Well at least we thought they were all over, it seems that a lot of them had gone under due to lack of business. After visiting a few indie shops we realized that their prices were just as high or even more then the major stores. We were about to give up when we came across Nader's. Nader's proved to be everything we were looking for. Their selection is humongous and all their furniture is made of high quality materials. Whether you're looking for a living room set, a bedroom set, or a dining room set chances are that they will be running an amazing special that will save you a ton of money. We ended up getting a couch, a love seat, a huge rug, a coffee table, two end tables, two lamps and a glass television stand for only 900 dollars (that also includes delivery). At all the other places we had been to a set with that much furniture was well over 1300 dollars. Javier (the sales man) was awesome, in fact he was nothing like your average sales person. After we told him what we were looking for and what we wanted to spend he never once tried to convince us to spend more money or to show us furniture that was out of our price range. He went over all their specials with us and proceeded to find us the best deal for our money. I'm more then satisfied with my experience at Nader's. In fact I'm already planning on coming back here in the future to purchase a new dining room table. With the economy the way it is now it is good to know that there are still businesses that offer high quality merchandise at prices that are fair to us consumers. read more

Where do I begin? Well I'm happy with my furniture, but I picked it out so I guess that's why. The prices are reasonable, they do have sales so that's good as well. But quite frankly it's been over two months and I STILL haven't received one of my pieces of furniture.. So here goes my story. I recently moved into a new place so I needed a bed set (which came with a dresser and nightstand) and a couch and an oversized chair. I received no discounts on any of the furniture. Miguel (my salesman) assured me that all of the prices were already low. I needed them so I just bought them. As far as the buying situation goes. Miguel wasn't clear with my options so I sign up for some credit system that I don't use and they needed a 500$ deposit. So of course they take the money (debit) and then he decides to tell me that I can buy it all in full on my credit card. I was livid. So you took my money and inconvenienced me so that I had to come back in a few days get a check from you all and repay with my credit card. He apologized, cool. I got over that. So majority of my things are delivered that week minus the oversized chair. Miguel tells me it will be delivered in 5 weeks on Friday because it is custom. I said great no problem. 5 weeks come, no phone call, 6 weeks.. Still no phone call. So I decide to call and after I get a hold of him he says oh but you've never payed. I laughed and said I paid in full. So after 5 min of going back and forth, he says oh I had you mixed up with someone else and then to oh I'm so sorry, I don't know what's going on I'll call the warehouse and the manufacturer and see. I'll have it delivered this weekend. Weekend comes, no phone call, so again I call and he's not in. I call another day he answers and says the piece isn't ready. Soooooo you weren't going to tell me that 2 weeks ago? No one communicated this with me. He apologized and said it wasn't his fault and he'd get back to me. This basically goes on for another week.. He says he's going to call and doesn't apologizes because I have to blow up his business line. Finally when I threaten to tell his boss about his poor communication and customer service he starts getting it together. I talked to his boss, I talked to his colleagues. And it's been 8 going on 9 weeks and still don't have my piece. It's finally coming Saturday. So in other words.... Don't buy from here. Go to the Gardena location, MAYBE they are better. I guess it's okay to get treated any old type of way once they have your money. Lesson learned. read more

If I could give Nader's more stars, I would. It was plain easy, through and through: easy to find what you need, and easy on the wallet. By far the most efficient and satisfying furniture shopping that I've ever done, in fact. Viviana was extremely helpful and not pushy. I told her what I had in mind ("about *this* big..."), and she immediately pointed me in the right direction. In the past I've left furniture stores without seeing a single thing that struck my fancy... this time, I ended up buying an adorable chocolate colored sofa chaise, a modern glass coffee table, two side tables, AND a 32" Sony HD TV. Yes, they even have TVs. With delivery and tax, it came to $1100. Holy bananas, what a steal. A couch for less than $300? A TV for $450? Everything I needed, all in one place? Awesome customer service? Too good to be true? I THINK NOT!! It's been 5 years since I left college, and i FINALLY have "Big Girl" furniture! Yay! Back in March 2020 I purchased a couch sleeper set and one was given as the floor model said to be new once I picked up the sleeper from the warehouse which was a two trip deal cause they forgot the legs finally get home to put it all together noticed one of the cushions looked like a cat scratched it up called alisia said no problem we will order a new bring it in so trip # 3 to bring the cushion she sees the damage apologized and said she ordered a new one and to give it s weeks never a call nothing.. so I reach out again she sees the notes on my account said she will look into and call back... never called . Finally went back in to carson location and spoke to Gina the manager said she'll call and get back to me by Tuesday and again none called... burned me 1200.00 for a junk set and never offered any good service regarding as a matter of fact never any recognition at all.. bad experience and customer service at this location and the warehouse both blew us off.. smh read more

Bought a small table and two chairs. Had to go to the warehouse to pick up the box and then take it home to assemble it. I drive a RAV4 so the box "just fit" in the back. Got it home and couldn't get it out of the car as it is too heavy for one person to lift. Even the box says two person lift. Cut the end off the box and took the pieces out and into the house. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Put the chairs together with no problems. Started on the table and discovered I had two left legs. Took the legs back to the store and was told to go to the warehouse and get the right parts. Went to the warehouse and we opened another box and took out the legs. Then we discovered the design of the crosspieces had been changed. Took the new legs and crosspieces home and assembled the table. Then I had to make another trip to the warehouse to return the incorrect crosspieces. So after two trips to the store and three trips to the warehouse I had my table and two chairs sitting in my kitchen. Looks good. read more

These guys are SCAMMERS .... stay away they are currently scamming me right now. I wish we saw the reviews before going in. We spent all of our wedding money here to furnish our new house together instead of going to Ikea or Costco where we normally go. Our bedroom set is already broken after having it for a month. We only used it for about 2 weeks since we have been gone for half of the time. It's so disappointing. Now we don't have money for a new set. Also the salesman will say a lot of things when you go in and offer discounts and free delivery or whatever but in the end it doesn't all get applied. I'm glad I got my chevel mirror on sale. It came out to about 31 dollars but I am not pleased I wasn't informed that I had to go pick it up at the warehouse on Broadway in Carson. I went all the way to the other store on Carson St.. Because the lady on the phone informed me they had it in stock at that location. Only to find out I have to make another stop to go pick it up. The worst customer service and quality I have ever received. They delivered and installed the legs crooked, all the screws were missing and ended up collapsing the moment we sat on it. Even Lisa, the customer service lady was really rude!! I simply asked for an explanation and mention she's too busy to explain the situation and had a lot of other customers! I couldn't even get a hold of customer service until the next day at night. How can you treat a customer that way??? I purchased a couch and couldn't even treat me as a customer?? The drivers even claimed the couch are designed that way??? Even my grandma can see that's poorly assembled correctly!!!! I hope the owners see this and take things to a serious matter. read more

this place rocks! i needed a sleeper sofa-the ones that come out of the sofa, not a click clack and decided to go by the yelp reviews. I saw so much that I wanted it was unbelievable. Cheap prices on quality furniture and the staff was great! I mainly dealt with Miguel the manager who wasn't pushy and told me I only needed to put down $20. I saw 3 different sofas for under 600 and he said I could change my choice when I come back in. I usually shop at Big Lots (yes Big Lots) and got a chaise from them. I wish I would've come here first because I saw a funkier looking one for less. The delivery charge wasn't bad and I even got a vacuum cleaner. They even have a clearance center which I didn't know about until after the fact. when the furniture was delivered, the guys were great and even put it together for me. I'll definitely be back and if the prices are that low I can only imagine the clearance center prices. read more

Now, let me explain how I haven't received my mattress and it's already been 3 weeks. Paid 550 in cash, was told it was in stock and ready for pick up when it wasn't. Have been going back and forth calling just to be told that they will call back and wound up not receiving any calls or notification on the mattress' status. In order to get a hold of them we have to call several times just to be told that they will call us back for more information. Not to my surprise, we wound up getting no calls at all! I had eyed this shop several times driving up and down PCH, but had never thought to stop inside. Well, I finally did this weekend and boy was I happy I did! I bought a beautiful bedroom set and I couldn't be more pleased. Shannon was very friendly and equally as informative! The transaction only took a matter of minutes and was as smooth as it gets. We have been buying furniture from Naders for over 20 years. I just recently got rid of a sofa we had purchased in 1996. It withstood 3 kids, several professional cleanings. I also have purchased a leather queen size sleeper sofa 10 years ago and it is still in great condition. My daughter who slept in a crib from Naders is now an adult and buying from Naders. There are several locations but I think the best location is in Carson. All of the staff are friendly curteous and helpful. read more

I originally purchased my couches and July 2016 had to file a claim August 15 of 2016. Because it One of the cushions started raping at the seams. Filed my second claim in September my third October my fourth November twice and now December. The problem keeps happening and they just keep replacing the cushions covers.... but as of July of next year I don't have warranty anymore because I didn't purchase the extended warranty( didn't purchase the warranty because it costs an additional 300 or $500) and I realize couches don't last forever but they last more than five months.
