i literally stay away from this store bc i spend a lot of $$ here ..SMH the reason for my visit is that i needed velvet ribbon for the halloween wreath i am making.. welp, like a kid in a candy store! they had christmas deco up already!!! i really love this store bc you can just wander for hours and get inspo i went through their fall and christmas aisles ... iykyk, the ceo is a devout christian, so no halloween here.. also that is why all stores are closed sundays! service is really amazing here. everyone is really nice and welcoming and avail to help. yes, i found my ribbon! parking: no issues! huge lot with plenty of spaces

I'm back here again just to check out what they have. THEY HAVE A TON OF ITEMS to look through. Tons of crafting materials and supplies for projects throughout the holidays. Some of the pricing is too expensive and some are reasonable. Christmas crafts are affordable. Competitive to Michael's. The only one off here is that they close on SUNDAYS! The busiest day and I'm assuming the more likely people would shop because most people are off. I was surprised they don't open that day esp during the holiday season.

Came here like 3 weeks prior to Christmas and they already had massive sales on christmas items. They were half price and a lot of shelves were empty. There were huge lines at the register. I came and didn't find anything to buy. I left the store empty handed. They must had good deals and I just came late. Other than that, store is huge. They sell anime plushies here which was surprising. They are closed on Sundays.

Such a fun store for crafts or home decor. There's something for everyone regardless of age. Love that they have cool faith based decor, books and bibles! We had such a good time browsing. I'm sure if we had more time we could easily spend over an hour just shopping for room decor. I was disappointed by their promotion in store. I saw a bunch of promotional signs for 50% off but the item we purchased from that section (right next to the sign!) did not qualify and it took them so long to figure it out at the register. Honestly, just put sale items in the same area or put a special sticker on items part of the promotion otherwise many customers will be misled.

Hobby Lobby is worth paying a visit to if you are into arts & crafts on any level whatsoever. As you walk through the front doors you're met with an abundance of knick-knacks, keepsakes, trinkets, ornament, figures, and home display pieces. I walked through an endless floor space filled with treats for the eyes while music played overhead to set the atmosphere. I saw a lot of sales specials, especially on seasonal items. And there is a whole bunch of seasonal stuff to glance over. It was very busy but the lines through checkout moved fairly quickly all things considered. I found the staff friendly and warm (I don't mean to the touch). Located across the street from Del Amo Mall and there's plenty of parking in front and to the side.

    Christmas in August!

My friend and I went here for her to find school supplies as she is a teacher, and she mentioned other Hobby Lobby stores have a special section for teachers, but this one didn't. She didn't buy anything here for school supplies. It is August and 1/4 of the store is dedicated to Christmas! WOW! They are prepared! Hahaha! Forget Halloween, let's jump to Christmas! This store is organized well and the parking lot huge, so parking was easy.

Located where the old Toy's r Us space was. This place is huge and very well laid out. I didn't know what to expect as I only heard about Hobby Lobby when I lived in Texas. I had a little extra time to peruse and observed the vast array of quality silk florals, popular farm signage and lots of seasonal merch to choose from to update your home decor. I checked and there are no craft classes to take like Michael's offers. Parking in the large lot.

Nathan was the CSA, or Customer Service All Star of this experience beyond question. He went (ab&b) above and beyond, and eplained his design services with a level of detail and clarity that Stevie Wonder & Hellen Keller would have been proud of! Did I mention that Nathan is avable to travel to your residence to lend his expertise? My sister went ahead and set up the appointment, and just like that the pending renedevous with Nathan at her residence was set. An A-1 experince to be sure.

Terrible service and pushy sales people. Every time my husband and I come here, we are bombarded by…read morethe associates trying to make a sale. They are so pushy that we can't even shop in peace. Even when we do have a question, they aren't knowledgeable enough to answer them...?? If you have a return, the staff will give you attitude about it...even if it was their fault in the first place. We came here looking for the Barazza ESP Encore and specifically stated we wanted the ESP version. There were two ladies we asked and they both could NOT figure it out. It was like the blind leading the blind. They were slow AND incapable. I saw that there was NO "ESP" on the package and said "no this isn't it. It states it's the regular Barazza Encore" and they just wouldn't believe me, insisted on checking the barcode numbers which they were incredibly slow at. Not to mention, it was indeed the incorrect product like I stated. Then they went to check in the back and said "good news we have the ESP!" Well we were also buying an espresso machine and did not realize they had brought us the regular Barazza encore (the WRONG ONE AGAIN!!) until we got home. We had to make another trip back just to return it due to their mistake and the sales associate had such a nasty attitude - asking us all manners of questions in a condescending tone and insinuating we used it when we literally bought the machine an hour ago. There was one Asian guy who was polite and attentive but gave us the space we needed without the constant obvious pressure of trying to push a sale. Whatever the incentive to sell or discourage returns is, please stop. Because I don't even want to set foot into this store due to the 5 out of 5 visits being negative experiences.

Review #982 2026-048…read more HomeGoods is located on the north end of Torrance Promenade; the store replaced part of defunct Kmart. Owned by TJX, it's a sister company to T.J. Maxx & Marshalls, selling home accessories, furniture, linens, cooking products, etc. HomeGoods used to offer online shopping but removed it a couple of years ago (10/2023) to refocus on the "treasure hunt" in-store experience due to low e-commerce sales & ever changing inventory for that surprise find. Their inventory of "home goods" is usually larger, better, & competitively priced in comparison to its sister companies. HG also stocks snacks, treats, coffees & teas, etc., but their prices are slightly higher than T.J. Maxx & Marshalls. Over the years, I alternated between this location at Torrance Promenade & the one in Torrance Crossroads on Crenshaw Blvd. (refer to Review #821) for deals on bedding, blankets, cookware & kitchenware, etc. I prefer shopping here for cookware & kitchenware because it's better organized than the hodgepodge at Torrance Crossroads. Parking is equally challenging since they're next door to Marshalls, particularly on weekends. My recent visit was looking for a nonstick fry pan replacement. Marshalls stocked only ceramic frying pans... this popularity surge was due to their marketing as a non-toxic, eco-friendly, & safer alternative to Teflon, ceramics' nonstick properties durability is short by 1/2 or more of the estimated lifespan. I was so happy to find an All-Clad pan... both versions: ceramic & nonstick were available, & I stuck with the nonstick (pun intended... LOL). Since we recently adopted a 2nd cat, I checked out their cat supplies but didn't find anything that could withstand Butter's high energy, macho tendencies. He's quite friendly & isn't destructive towards our furniture, yet he's more rough on his toys. His l'il sis, Snow, rivals Butter's play enthusiasm since he joined the family, & ripped a modular track with ball within a couple of weeks. Though the cardboard scratchers are nice, I think sisal poles or boards may work better for both their personalities, especially since they influence each other's behaviors. I normally don't see any staff on the floor, but if you need help, you can always ask a cashier to page someone for assistance. If you're looking for an alternative to expensive retail home décor & furnishings, HomeGoods is the place to be for competitively priced "home goods" for your home.

Love this store! Prices have went up though, don't like that. Some items have broken easily, that…read moreneeds to change. Other than that, I do enjoy the variety they offer here. Christmas is my favorite.
