We were driving by, and noticed Barnes and Noble nearby so we pulled into the parking lot and noticed plenty of parking so I pulled into the parking lot, not very busy, we parked and came into B&N I love this bookstore one of the few real book stores around. So many mom-and-pop stores have closed. This is one of the few still around. If anyone is looking for a book or magazines, please support your local bookstore instead of ordering online. If they don't have what you're looking for they can order it for you. This Barnes and Noble is big they have upstairs and downstairs, some kids' toys, and books, so many books you have to find one that you like. Highly recommend bringing your child here and looking around, you'll find something you like.

I've been coming to this Barnes & Noble for a long time -- honestly at least once or twice a week. I love reading, collecting books, and spending time in bookstores, so this location has become one of my favorite places over the years. Spanish is my first language, and one thing I always appreciated was their Spanish books section. I know that section extremely well, to the point where I can practically tell you where every category used to be. That's why I was genuinely disappointed during my last visit. Out of what used to be the Spanish section, about one entire shelving area was completely empty, and most of the remaining shelves had been replaced with books in English, even though the signs and category tags still said "Libros en Español." At this point, only a small portion actually contains Spanish books. When I asked about it, I was told the Spanish books were "still there," but that completely missed the point. The issue isn't whether a few Spanish books remain -- it's that a section that once felt intentional and welcoming now feels reduced and neglected. As someone who visits constantly and truly values bookstores, I really hope Barnes & Noble continues investing in Spanish-language readers and communities instead of quietly shrinking the selection.

This location is a lot more chill than the other ones that I have been to. They also have a gorgeous selection of classical books. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with the parking situation since I work close by and can walk here. However, I can see how that could be an issue for others. Perfect place to walk around and get lost in.

This Barnes & Noble is huge and really nice. Unfortunately, parking can be a nightmare since this B&N is located right in the parking lot of Del Amo Mall. So crazy busy with the parking situation. I ordered a book for my son online for store pick up. Convenient. There was a short line when we arrived. They asked to check my email with the barcode from the online order and then I was done. Easy peasy. Need to come back to really roam the bookstore and hang out here. Beautiful Barnes & Noble.

One of the biggest Barnes and Nobles I have ever seen. Two stories, Starbucks Cafe, Parking mixed with mall spots. Very organized and clean.

I arrived at the store before it opened to try and purchase a Dodgers World Series newspaper. Others had the same idea, so we formed a line. When the manager or the help desk lady opened the door, she informed us that this location does not sell newspapers. I checked the store shelves, but there were none. I'm not sure if this is true, but I'll check again throughout the week.

The cashier and staff were professional and friendly. I appreciate the books on the round tables change their locations from time to time (eg. Moving between 1st floor vs 2nd floor, etc) ; it exposed me to genres I usually avoid.

It's a solid Barnes & Noble location. It's located in the Del Amo Fashion Mall parking lot. 2 stories and there's a cafe inside. As many B&N are now, it's mostly a gift/toy shop if anything, but looks like there's a decent amount of books and the workers are keeping on top of what is trendy now aka BOOKTOK suggestions. Bathrooms were not disgusting, but not the greatest either to be honest. Also nothing against this location but I gotta talk with the workers who are in charge of the suggestions in the manga section. Either you yourself are a casual or you're trying to appeal to more normies or casuals out there, but all of the suggestions were either already known series aka Sailor Moon/Death Note or the big shonen/seinen series that already have anime adaptations aka Demon Slayer, Kaguya-sama, Rent a GF (lord help us), etc. PLEASE I AM ON MY KNEES BEGGING, CRYING, & THROWING UP. PLEASE READ DIFFERENT MANGA/MAKE DIFFERENT SUGGESTIONS. There are so many other great series out there!

This is my go to Barnes & Noble! The staff is so nice and helpful! This location has a good selection. The café is my go to spot as well plenty of seating. I tend to frequent this location at least once a week!

Ever since I first discovered the Book-Off chain in Tokyo, I have been a fan of these stores…read more Basically, they offer a whole lot of books: i.e., the name, Book-Off. But, this is not all they offer. They also offer a lot of other things, depending on the location. Just as is the case with the stores around Tokyo, each Book-Off is somewhat different in their offerings. This Book-Off is no different. Over the many years that this Book-Off has been in business, it has witnessed an evolution in what they offer for sale. When they first opened, their basic commodity was books, and music, mostly via CDs, along with some movies on VHS and DVD. They also offered various computer games. Over the years these items have changed. At this location, their primary focus has remained on books, but they have also expanded. There has been periods of time when they even offered things like musical instruments. You'd walk by, look in their front window, and they'd have guitars hanging there. I think this is the great thing about the Book-Off stores. They are each unique locations, and though they do focus on books, each store is a very unique entity onto itself, offering a unique collection of which only that particular location focuses upon. As I write this review, what they're offering is books, CDs, DVDs, PC games, some PC controllers, and a little bit of everything else. In some ways, you never really know what you're going to find here, which makes this a fun shop to look into. This business is located on the lower level of the Del Amo Mall. It's close to stores like JCPenney's. So, it's never hard to find. It's right over by the escalators for those of you who know the mall. So, if you're looking for a book, some music, maybe a PC game, or maybe something else that you never knew that they would be offering, this may be your place to find it.

One of the most complete, well-stocked and well-structured BookOffs out of the many here in SoCal…read more I've visited probably 6 different locations, including 3 in OC (Costa Mesa, Westminster and another one that I think already xlosed) and also the Monterrey Park, Little Tokyo and Gardena ones. This is my 7th BookOff and the prices are great considering how the second hand market is for books, CDs, video games, etc. You can purchase with the confidence that the product will work as intended, rather than taking a chance with eBay stuff that may be cheaper but could arrive non-functional.

Since each Kinokuniya is basically its own franchise, every store has a different vibe. This one leans more toward stationery and gifts than a huge selection of Japanese books or magazines. It's a great date spot, but not really the place to dig for rare anime or manga collectibles. The space is smaller than some of the other LA locations, and with Animate nearby, they don't carry every item you might expect. It sounds like they have a number of book clubs going at the same time which makes me green with envy. Somebody please open a bookstore like this in Santa Clarita Valley, Ca.! At the time of my visit there was a children's reading event going on in the children's section. There were young adults picking out their spring break reads. There is also a courtyard and coffee shop somewhat attached. I did not try the coffee, but will the next time I am in Manhattan Beach. This is a charming bookstore, well designed, with sooo many staff picks and recommendations. Make sure to pay them a visit when you are in the area.
