I'm not the type to really write reviews on stores I go into because service is just okay. BUT THIS ONE had to be written. I didn't get the name of the cashier and it's not in the receipt. But let me try my best to describe her, the lady who worked cashier at this location on 1/23/26 around 1:22pm, kinda heavy set, I think she had a mole on her face, not sure. Looked Asian. SHE WAS THE MOST RUDEST CASHIER EVER. First of all I wanna say my items were 2 blind boxes & some towels. I came to the counter and told her I'd like to REDEEM one of the blind boxes for my birthday freebie and PURCHASE the other one. I don't know if she's hard of hearing or something but she goes "both work, which one do you want?" I pointed at ONE and she THREW the other blind box aggressively in the "go back basket" I told her "I said I'd like to purchase one and redeem the other one.." and she says "so you want both?" OBVIOUS FUCKING LY! With a NASTY ass attitude she grabs the blind box that she aggressively threw, grabs it AGGRESSIVE AF again. Like damn Bih you're about to shake the luck out of my blind box tf! The she asks me "which one do you want to redeem?" I told her the one that's of higher value (obviously it's $25 value) SHE PROCEEDS to redeem the CHEAPER one and scan me for the one that's higher price (but still within the $25 value freebie range) BIHHHHHHH, I was livid. If you don't like your job, please find (excuse my language) another FUCKING place to work at, or don't work at all. Don't be working cashier with a nasty ass attitude, aggressively packing and throwing customer's items. Don't go to this miniso, or don't go when that rude ass lady is working. read more

Love stopping by the new large Miniso at Del Amo Fashion Center. They moved to a newer, larger location at the mall a few months ago and it meant more kawaii, more Hello Kitty! Being the Hello Kitty fan that I am, I can definitely appreciate the larger space that offers more selection of goodies. They've got storage containers, totes, plushies, keychains and blind boxes. Aside from Hello Kitty, they've got plenty of other pop culture merch featuring Super Mario, BT21, Disney and more. Make sure to sign up for Miniso Rewards to get some extra perks too! read more

This place is getting a bit better with service. I dropped by to redeem some of my offers from earning points--and I was able to snag a couple of goodies. The place is so small now compared to before, so everything is so tightly packed and it gets so crowded inside. Since it is less space, it means more clutter in the isles. The isles are so small also and there are less products. They do however, replenish and rotate a lot of the items. Whenever I'm in, they have something new! My suggestion in the future for management to properly train the staff. They were new and young, but not knowledgeable about the system and simple information. The trainer was there to help, but they were really nice and friendly. Overall, need more organization and tidiness. read more

The accessories and toys store is located on the ground level, inside the del amo shopping center. It's overly packed inside, with very narrow walkways, and I think it's a bit disorganized. The clearance and full priced stuffed animals have been placed in the same tray, and staff were friendly though. read more

I love Miniso especially now that they've stepped up their game and continue to be up to date with the latest anime and trends! The Harry Potter merch is always so fun and exciting to see and prices here are fantastic! Not "cheap" per se but cheap enough if that even makes sense lol. Great place to shop for gifts as well. This location has two entrances which was unusual but we found it to be super organized compared to other locations we've been to! The Harry Potter section almost felt huge to be honest! Although we didn't buy anything during our visit, they were well stocked and seemed busy with ringing people out. This is the very first MINISO I've been to that had anime products. VERY COOL! The store seems larger than normal, but is actually about the same as the ones in the other malls. They had a mascot show up at the front!!!!! There were a LOT of workers walking around putting stuff away quickly. No matter how fast they worked, there seems to be more to put away. Poor guys. At the same time, I appreciate that management hires enough works to do that. Keeping the pace organized makes it easier to shop. The items here are affordable. read more

[Review #804] 2024-003 TIP: As of 01/2024, MINISO will be relocating; still in Del Amo Fashion Center, next to Kevin Jewelers by Macy's. I haven't shopped at Del Amo Fashion Center since the holidays... I first found MINISO during my last minute Christmas presents scramble. The retail store was located just slight north of the food court. And it's loaded with cute, kitchsy, & licensed merchandise. According to their website, CEO Ye wanted to improve consumption patterns, changing the "higher the price, the better the quality" & "low price with bad quality" to "good quality with low price" products. Has he achieved that? Let's see... The inventory is well-stocked & neatly organized from knickknacks, personal essentials, & make-up to toys, collectibles, & technology accessories that caters to the younger generation. I can see my kids ooh & aahing over the store, & asking to buy everything in sight. In some ways, the store reminds me of Daiso albeit price differences, & they do that there too. The branded merchandise: HK & Sanrio, Snoopy, & Disney merchandise mostly seem of quality, & the prices are definitely competitive to the actual Sanrio & Disney stores at the mall. You see a lot of co-branding partnerships, & it's stamped on a lot of items, even ear buds, which makes me question their durability & quality. I found the water bottles in the back a bit lacking & flimsy; I have serious doubts of leakage on some of the designs. The facial tissues package was cute, but the tissue itself isn't nose-friendly (soft); you're paying for the plastic wrap design, not the tissue quality. Fair price points on the squishable plushies... & they have plenty of adorable ones! At my life stage, I'm not the target market to be plucking bucks randomly, but the shop offers good opportunities for gift ideas. I can't say all of MINISO hits the good quality with low prices mark, but it's not bad in comparison to similar retail stores. The shelves are arranged in a way that attracts your attention that one can't help but browse longer to see what hidden treasure can be found; there's a lot of diverse & unique products that will have you opening your wallet intentionally or not. Service was a slightly lacking over the holiday hustle & bustle, especially when customers are in need of assistance; overall, I thought the staff handled it well. Went here to redeem my birthday reward - free blind box worth $25, I chose $19.99 hello kitty blind box but was told that its new so I cant redeem it even if it's less than $25 and the cashier proceeded to tell me to get other sanrio blind box that cost more and to just pay the difference! Shopping in Torrance, California... I saw Alana's photo of a Cony diffuser, so I had to investigate... Located at Del Amo Mall - on the second floor - by the Food Court, Miniso will be moving later to a spot by Macy's... Go now - or look at the directory! In front of the store, there was a display of Snoopy merchandise. I also saw Sanrio characters such as My Melody, Kuromi, Little Twin Stars, and Gudetama. Lots of other characters like Pikachu were cute, but I looked at Brown, Choco, Cony, and Sally from Line Friends because they're challenging to find. Since I was there, I decided to get a Hello Kitty basket for my items. At the cash register, I saw a Pochacco earphone set - got it for my sister. Uhg... I hope everything can fit in my luggage. Thought I'd write a review about the last retail store I shopped at pre-Covid-19. I actually purchased super hero wet wipes and facial tissue, but they offer so much more. This store is located in the Del Amo mall, so it's easy to just walk in the store, browse, and buy. They sell all kinds of fun, cute, mainly unnecessary little things, aside from the simple essentials. For instance, I've purchased a tea tumbler where you place loose tea in the container that is attached to the end of the straw. There is plenty of free, mall parking. read more

Your employee was sitting on the floor and was annoyed I wanted to check out. They then didn't want to check out my cart because I had an item they scanned and they didn't want to undo the scan so canceled the whole thing. Then said to me I'll wait till you're done putting everything on the table to scan. And I said that's the only thing I don't want. This is down talking to a customer and I felt uncomfortable. I will never go back to this place again because your staff talks to me as if I can't afford anything here. Disgusting. I spend thousands here but this is the second or third time I came to this branch and every time it's a disappointment. I'll never go to this particular one for how rude everyone is, how crowded it is. And how other customers are just always bumping into you, you can't get thru isle cause it's so crowded. I went in today for my birthday blind box and the worker (wearing a mask) not to be rude but I believe Korean was so rude at the beginning of the interaction then when she saw that I was not liking her little attitude she switched up but point is that she had made me do the whole scanning thing for the website and she knew there was bad reception in the store so she told me to step outside the store near some trash cans but I decided to stay inside so I did and then came a Korean girl asking for the same thing I asked for and the worker proceeded to be all nice with her and ask her for her email signing her right up while seeing that I was struggling she told her happy birthday and everything but telling me to go to another Miniso or go in another day when clearly she could have fucking helped me right then and there read more

This is one of those novelty shops with an edge. What they offer is a unique blend of items that you will probably only find at this store and their other locations. What they offer is fairly unique and you can always find something interesting to look at, find a gift, or buy that item you never really knew that you needed. This store is well laid out and airy. So you can easily roam the aisles and enjoy the atmosphere. The prices of the shop are low to mid range. They have some very in expensive items as well as a few mid-priced items. 2nd time they were 'out of bags'. They actually have signs saying out of bags, so they want you to buy their tote bags. So basically I only bought 10% of the items in my cart and left the rest at the register. Is making money of tote bags so important that you lose customers? Really bad return policies. Had gained some points from a prior purchase and used them on the next purchase. It wasn't told to us but apparently if you use those points, then the purchase becomes non-returnable. Seriously? In our case, we realized a mis-communication just after the transaction, hadn't left the store yet and asked to change something for another item - but were told no, because it was final. Again, seriously? We did't even leave the store yet! I don't know if this is terrible store policy or just laziness but but that sucked. read more

I had no idea what MINISO was when I saw the construction a few months back while eating at the food court but it is finally open! Basically Daiso with a UNIQLO feel - home goods on the cheap in a minimalistic and utilitarian way. Not sure if they had any grand fanfare at opening but got here after work and was intrigued as I am with almost any home store. Inventory is orderly with employees shelving and cleaning up after customers. See my photos on what they sell. They even have wasabi shrimp chips and calpico if you're craving Japanese snacks right there. They take Apple/Android pay but it didn't work with my phone, so I wasn't able to purchase the 2 glass bottles with sleeves, but overall it was a pleasant experience. They have different-sized paper bags for a charge. I think it was going to be $0.12 for my bag but the bottles had handles so no need, but I wasn't able to get it. They had these plush puppies for $3.89, which I thought was a steal. Their innerwear could have fooled me as their logo is so similar to UNIQLO that I said out loud, oh they carry UNIQLO stuff? And then I squinted and realized that I was wrong. Another interesting item was these oversized coffee cup+lid that was supposed to be an organizer or sorts. I found it funny that they had neckties and bowties for under $4. If you like Pink Panther, they carry the plush version and also bed sheets and other stuff. Phone accessories, kitchen and bath stuff, toys, all kinds of stuff available on the cheap. Definitely stop by and kill 15-20 mins browsing. read more

My first time at Miniso and I absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly, the prices are pretty good/cheap, and the products are really cute! They ranged from We Bare Bear products to Adventure Time to Marvel characters. They also have a lot of other practical things (electronics, kitchenware, etc.). I read other reviews that Miniso is basically a fancier Daiso and I agree. I will make sure to visit again next time. read more

There is something magical about walking into a store full of kawaii items. The moment your eyes scan the windows and your feet take their first few steps into the the store your eyes race looking at all the adorable things your finger tips are itching to touch. I remembered the very first time I walked into Miniso ( Del Amo Mall Torrance, CA) I stood there with a massive grin and my heart transformed back into a child looking at all the Ee Bare Bears items collecting all that I could, but not forgetting my Spiderman car vent air freshener that smelled like coffee whenever I turned on my ac. In a crazy world this is my happy place where I treat myself to soft plushies or sturdy H.K steel cups. My local miniso is closed foe now so they can move to a bigger location and I'm having SERIOUS withdrawal bc I visit twice a week. Love this store. They have EVERYTHING, it's a one stop shop. I got a speaker from them awhile ago and it still works. I'm only excited about that because all the other ones I had stopped working or just wasn't loud enough. The customer service and staff here are A plus material.
