Wide selection of everything you need .. you just have to hunt. Very good value. A bit disorganized, but if you're looking for a deal it's the place to go. Plenty of parking. Don't miss the entrance drive in .. a fast right turn off of Hawthorne Blvd right after the Lomita Blvd intersection. read more

TIP - Going to a potluck, buy a disposable serving dish or foil tray AND a serving utensil. Be self contained when you show up. Dollar Tree has a good selection. TIP - First weekend of the month is the busiest because of pay day!!! Ok, bye. read more

Typical dollar store merchandise, went in for some batteries, they had the size I needed at a reasonable price. Store was neat, staff friendly, abundant parking. read more

Ami is super sweet and helpful! She held it down being the only register open during a rush. The line moved fairly quickly. This location is neater than other locations I've visited. Items were stocked and organized. The store is spacious with wide aisles. Parking is plenty. Prices may vary depending on the item like their frozen foods. There are great finds like Philadelphia cream cheese and Kraft singles are available. There was so much to see and my walk around the store was delightful. read more

Dollar Tree has some good items for the Home, personal, arts and crafts and much more for its reasonable price. They always have a great selection for Holidays and love their section on Cards(Hallmark) one section is 2 for $1 and some that are $1. I used to get tables clothes at the 99 Cent Store but since they went out of business I come here and grab my stuff. I feel this location has great parking just getting out of the lot can be a bit hard cause traffic is always flowing here. The staff here are helpful and nice, but the line can get a bit big and they just have one cashier open. But they have great stuff here and can't go wrong with it being $1.25 read more

Still the best place around for party supplies. $1.25 for Mylar helium balloons. Their raspberry lemonade is great. Great service from one of their cashiers. read more

The good: I came for Easter supplies and was very happy about their huge selection of baskets, plastic eggs, and Easter Xander. Easter baskets elsewhere are so expensive! I got a grabber teacher stick here to help pick up toys off the ground while I'm pregnant. I was shocked they had this and that it was so cheap (normally around $10-30). I use it daily and it's been super useful and fun. I also got binder clips and plastic table cones with motivational messages on it. The bad: As many know, inflation caused dollar tree to no longer be $1 for all items. It's $1.25 now. As other reviewers mentioned, the side entrance and further parking lot aren't ideal. The interesting; They have an instagram with some fun diy craft ideas. read more

On 7/17/2025 roughly around 8pm my family and I went to dollar tree looking to buy some items for the kids and our household . This would be the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life . After being there for about 20 minutes , my 5 year old boy needed to use the bathroom. The bathroom was locked . I kindly went to the front and ask the cashier (her name is faith) If it would it be possible to open the bathroom . She rolled her eyes and about 15 feet away from her another employee by the name of Amie angrily mutters "of course you would ". I had no idea what was going on or what we did to be talked to this way . Prior to this , we had no interaction with any employees. Amie then opens the bathroom very rudely and walks away. I decide to ignore this and keep shopping with my family . After we were done shopping, we head to the cashier . This is were I couldn't believe the employees behavior . While scanning our items , employee Faith is being very . She is moving the items carelessly, acting very annoyed, and being very confrontational . One of the kids toy trucks my son wanted didn't have a bar code . She lifted the toy truck almost shoving it in my wife's face and angrily says "this doesn't have a bar code" . I decided to go back to the isle and get another truck with another barcode to scan . I did this only to avoid confrontation . I couldn't believe her attitude. I then go over to grab a bag of ice so she can charge us . She then walks away from her cashier and very angrily says "you guys are really pushing my patience " I was in disbelief . I had no idea what was going on . I was very confused . At this point I got upset . I told Faith that this is unacceptable and I wanted to talk to her manager . Faith , with a bad attitude, calls her manager over . Her manager happens to be Amie , the girl from earlier who rudely muttered the comment "of course you would" when I asked her to opened the bathroom. Amie comes up to us very angry , Biting her mouth down trying to avoid saying what she really wanted to say . I told Amie what happened with Faith . She then sarcastically with a force smile says "I'm sorry" . I knew instantly Amie didn't care about what happened . Instead of arguing with her i decided to leave and reach out to corporate about this incident . This was very humiliating and unorofessional . Those employees treated my family ( infront of my 3 kid ) horribly . I really hope dollar tree addresses this issue . This is the worst customer service I have ever experience. These employees are the face of the company and should behave like so read more

It can be a feat to get into this driveway which leads to the parking area. It seems like it is a narrow one way entrance/exit, but I think it is intended to be used as both. If you enter by driving past the store to the next entry/exit is a much better access, probably safer, too. I like this Dollar Tree, so much variety to look at! Even if you just see something and don't really need it, it's only a buck, so in the basket it goes! haha I have to control myself. Really, the 99¢ Store should be called a dollar store, they round everything to a dollar. For the principle itself, I prefer to shop at the Dollar Tree. It is what it says it is. Pretty much whatever you might need, you can find it here. Right now, they have a big selection of flimsy Flip Flops that you'd pay around $3 elsewhere. Lots of Graduation & Patriotic decorations. You never know what gems you might find here. Remember, sometimes you do get what you pay for and sometimes you find products that are sturdy! I got in and out and on my way very quickly. I make it here about once a month. read more

I don't like writing such negative reviews; however, I hate this location! First off, it's located in a very dangerous intersection with congestion and terrible parking. Secondly, there are only ever 2 cashiers at a time which equates to long lines. Thirdly, they run out of bags frequently (my most recent trip they were handing out boxes from a stack up front). Lastly, you can never understand the employees as they need to speak up with their masks (there's one cashier in particular who mumbles and you can never understand her). The last straw for me was when I went to pick up a few things I needed (which took all of 5 min) and there were at least 10 customers in line and one cashier. Really? No thanks, never again (no matter how convenient this location is to my office). Put my basket on the floor and walked out, adios! read more

Very nice cashier. They have balloons that I bought for a birthday. Good quality and better than other party favor store. Lots of candy to buy as well. My go to store for gift bags and bows and all those things necessary for a party. read more

This is a pretty decent Dollar Tree, they seem to have a larger selection and merchandise than the others I've been to in the South Bay area. It's your one stop shop place to go! Lot's of decorations (I was there recently for the Christmas) saw some left overs for Thanksgiving, and necessities galore! Cashiers were fast and lines weren't too bad to wait in. It's very popular since it's on Hawthorne Blvd. Easy parking in the back of the store. What else can I say? It's a Dollar Tree and it's a pretty darn good one at that! read more

A good selection here. BE CAREFUL: the Hawthorne entrance is so narrow that it is TREACHEROUS!! It is better to OVERSHOOT the building and enter 20 yards later by the bicycle store, OR, if you can, enter on Lomita behind the gas station! PS: the MOTHER of all Dollar Tree stores in the Southbay AND further is the one at Sepulveda and Vermont, right by the 110 exit. read more

I just left Dollar Tree on Hawthorne and Lomita. It was. COMPLETELY different experience. They didn't have a tissue but shared if I bought some, they have no problem wrapping the glassware. What? I'm being respected as a customer??? What a difference an area code makes. Hmmm, I will spread the word. Drive where customer service is stellar, kind, and personable. Thanks, Cindy!! [Review #43] I didn't have the time today to drive to a 99¢ Store & this was the closest one on my errand run. The store is well-stocked & current with its seasonal items (luau & summer stuff). I was looking for stuff for H's Frozen theme birthday party... picked up a couple of cute blue metal pails (for the centerpiece), blue bucket (to hold the kiddy drinks), paper bags (to color/decorate once I paste a snowman on it), blue & white tablecloths & streamers, clear icy blue utensils (these look pricier & they're only a buck). We also picked up a hula hoop & I didn't like the ones that light up. This one was purple wrapped with a sparkly streamer, & it took me awhile to find one that isn't damaged. It's $1, sometimes you get what you pay for... though finding a quality product at a discount is nothing to sneeze about. If you're having a luau/summer theme party, check out this store for your party needs. You might be surprised at what you can find. Oh, they even sell balloons here. Imagine that! :-) read more

These folks are worked way to hard, they can't possibly keep up. The lines are always insanely long and the store is always a mess. That being said, the employees are awesome. Super kind and definitely trying their best. The new manager is never around, rude and obviously doesn't care. Sad really. The parking lot looks like a trash bomb exploded. Kind of on par with this company read more

Dollar Tree - Lines a mile long. Typical - Discount Store Near Me - Torrance, California

Amazing place, lot of item ,surprising prices . Highly recommended

I just wish the place was a little more organized. It is an awesome large store with great prices though. I was able to buy a lot of things to make a treasure box for my grand kids. I bought a Rubiks cube, coloring books, face paint, and many other toys. This is also the best place to visit for valentine, Easter and Christmas. I'm able to make goodie bags for pennies compared to other store that sell them. The staff could be a little mean at time. I guess it really depends on the time of day. Haha. They do still halo in finding items in the store. There is plenty of parking available. read more

What can I say I live around the corner and I frequent this place often. It's always clean and I always find the little things I need to get me by, great place to buy little tidbits. They have a wide variety of everything you can possibly think of and you're only spending a $1! I like to come here and stock up on my sparkling water, they sell the "Sparkling Ice" brand so I'm very happy. read more

The best part of this Dollar Tree store is the customer service from one individual. All my life in customer service I've honestly never came across a nicer, kind, helpful young man as ALVARO. He doesn't have to try. His mother or patents raised a very well mannered young man. This lad should train customer service for a living. Items here are neat & clean. Easy to find or, ask Alvaro. I hope he's at least the manager of this location on Hawthorne & Lomita. read more

Good selection in a small space- sometimes it is challenging to peruse and navigate the shopping aisles when the stores is full, but I always find what I look for and some more. I usually get decorations and cleaning supplies. The parking in the back is small and it is difficult to get out of this store because it is near a very busy intersection with a lot of traffic at all times of the day. read more

Cheap of course with a large selection of goods. The register lines are pretty quick also. Which is a plus. And the staff is very friendly

I was so happy to come here because it was a Dollar Tree that I had never visited! And it was nice inside, a sizable store and despite the fact that I visited on Christmas Eve, it did not look like a tornado had just hit. The cashiers were kind and personable. Good place! I'll certainly be back! read more

Parking: hard to get in and out, depending on time of day. Balloons: A lot of Dollar Trees don't have the balloons inflated, so it takes awhile for it to be done. This one is different: They typically have a wide variety available, ready to go! Literally was in and out in 5 minutes. read more

I love this store! I go here at least once a week. I was there Saturday and bought lots of decorations for spring. They had flip-flops for a dollar! There are certain things I always buy at Dollar Tree. Cards are .50 a piece. You can't beat it! I get candy, envelopes, gift bags, yard decorations, and balloons. Their birthday balloons with helium are only a dollar and they last over a week. read more

Good selection of inexpensive items but service here is really poor, many of the cashiers are rude and not very nice (but I guess what do you expect from people working in a dollar store?). Only one or two people are actually nice and helpful but the rest you can tell they hate working here from their poor attitude. They also never have enough shopping carts and now you can't take them out to your car, so you shouldn't buy too much else or you'll have a lot to carry. read more

Piece of shit workers and manager leticia ! They opened a second register and no one was going to the line so I went and she then tells me I have to wait till the people from the other line make up their minds if they want to come in the line then I can go behind them wtf does she think I have time to wait on other people and her stupid ass manager said the same thing that's why you guys will only be cashiers at a dollar tree ! Nothing more in life hahahahah ! read more

This place have all the usual items that you can find at a Dollar Tree store. But it does tend to get messy in here. I would say 3 out of 5 times I've been here the shelves are disorganized. That makes it hard to really find what I'm looking for. Not to mention the items are sometimes damaged. But that doesn't stop me from coming in to this store to grab cheap items for my everyday needs. Plus, the staff here are helpful and they actually exist! I've been to other dollar stores where the staff are nowhere to be found. Except for one lone person at the cashier. So this branch is a go-to spot for me. read more

Customer Service is BLAH. Seems someone doesn't care to be st work today I was not greeted, nor was I offered the option of purchasing a bag. I was just given my receipt and my merchandise left sitting on the counter... I don't care if it's a 50 cent store, customer service is always important! read more

This is a good Dollar Tree. Selection is good, stocking is fine, and the place is generally clean. Once I forgot to pick up a toilet plunger that I paid for and left at the checkout. I called, and the store clerk, Juan, remembered who we were and let us pick it up without hassle. This place rocks. The other store clerks are also helpful and friendly as well. The only downsides I can think of are that parking in the rear sometimes seems cramped -- spot sizes are a little too tight, the car entry/exits for parking for this location are in strange locations and can be a recipe for an accident, and they got to fix the bathroom door (you have to really pull/push to get it to work right). read more

Roger the store managet was very helpful when I requested 19 birthday balloons today.Female casher was very nice ,

They had everything I was looking for. My only problem was that there were no baskets and there were only 2 cashiers open with long lines

Excellent store! Shop at this location 2 or 3 times a week to get a few great bargains. All the employees are very friendly.

Good place to buy certain things on your shopping list for a very good price. Best to avoid the fake cheese and crappy orange juice, but everything else I have bought at the Dollar Tree stores has been an excellent value. read more

They've got a pretty decent ice cream selection believe it or not. This is the one stop shop for household cleaning items too. The trash bags last me so long and it feels nice to stock up on many items and check out for less than $20 most times. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this Dollar Tree. The customer service is great! I have had the pleasure of interacting with Laura on several visits. She is such a nice, cheerful Cashier! She's always very pleasant and very efficient! I appreciate that! In addition to great customer service, the shelves are well-stocked. This location differs in that it had everything I needed. Oftentimes, when I have visited other locations, I have not been able to get all of my items because that location simply doesn't have it. I hate that kind of "hit or miss." This store had everything. I was completely satisfied and will return soon! read more

Parking in the back. I threw a spontaneous party and found what needed here. I got red metallic balloons, plastic bins and bowls. This is also a great place to find seasonal decorations for Halloween, Easter, and Christmas. Oh, and they have greeting cards too. All for just a dollar! read more

I prefer the "Everything for $1" store down the ways... but this one still suits the bill. The selection is alright, you can buy 2 spoons for $1, for example, don't buy the makeup because it's old... great for the universal cleaning supplies / paper towels, other stuff that doesn't really matter. read more

If I could leave no stars for this shitty place, I definitely would! Rude ass workers and the manager is just as rude! I've came here plenty times before and no one has ever told me I couldn't take a shopping cart outside and if I take it out, I better bring it back in. Let's talk about how they just shove multiple things in one bag to the point where it would just rip on you. The cashier was just a freakin airhead but when I asked to speak with her manager it was just as shitty service, I can tell her manager hasn't taught her shit! Maybe they both need to go through training again!!! They expect customers to come in but they treat us so crappy, f*** this place!! read more
