The shaved snow is so good I don't even know if it's called shaved snow or bingsoo or whatever it is but the texture is very fluffy and soft and when you eat it it coagulates into ice cream when it melts and then you get all the flavor. I love milk ice cream but I feel like the flavored ones were way better. The girl that works there is very nice and gave us good recommendations. I just wish they had more seating and table space cus it was pretty busy the second time we went. If u wanna go grab dessert after dinner, dis the spot to go
Came here to try their tarae bingsu on a Wednesday afternoon. There was no wait which was nice, and the decor inside is cute and clean. There was one worker who was very nice. We were ordering from the kiosk, but she came out to help when we asked a question. I thought we could customize and make a green tea with fresh strawberries, but I think language barrier she just ordered us the standard green tea chocolate version. Honestly , not a big fan of the combo , but the flavor and milky texture of the tarae bingsu was excellent. It comes with a lot of toppings on the side so we just left it off. She was nice enough to give us a side of fresh strawberries after we clarified the order lol. Next time will probably try just the fresh milk and strawberries one. The shovel utensils were super cute as well. The portion is rather large, as it only comes in "couple" or "family" size lol.
This is a nice spot to share Tarae Bingsu with friends and family. There's plenty of seating to study and hang out. The owner is very kind and sweet. I'll come back when I'm craving something that is just right in terms of freshness and sweetness.
We visited Tarae Queen around 3:30 pm on a Sunday and it was somewhat busy, though there was no line to order. A lot of people seemed to be getting takeout, and ordering through the kiosk was quick and easy. We got the Apple Mango Bingsu and waited around 10 to 15 minutes for it to come out. The wait felt a little long, but the portion was huge. We ordered a medium and it was honestly too much for two people, so I think it would be better shared between three to four people. The fruit was fresh and tasty, and the shaved ice itself was incredibly soft and fluffy. The texture was definitely the standout. I also liked that they gave us a fork and a little shovel shaped spoon, which made it more fun to eat. My biggest issue was that while we were waiting, an employee mopped the floor and the area started smelling strongly like a damp, dirty mop. We ended up moving seats because the smell was pretty unpleasant. I hope they're able to improve that, since it took away from an otherwise good experience. Overall, I enjoyed the bingsu and could see myself coming back with a larger group, especially for a late-night dessert to share.
Don't let the price throw you off, the portion they give is GENEROUS! Honestly, I would bring 1-2 more people to help tackle just one order. My bf and I ordered the lotus tarae to-go..yes...to-go. They do not play! The order came with an ice pack on the bottom and on top to ensure it does not melt and remains super cold! They are very generous with their toppings as well. Even around closing time, the staff were very nice and patient. Absolutely cannot wait to come back here and introduce my family to this place that just opened!

This bingsu is a bit pricey but you do get enough for two people. We ordered the strawberry and ordered mango which was served on the side (not pictured). The mango was semi frozen and in this sweet sauce that I didn't care for. I was really hoping for fresh sliced. The bingsu was very creamy and milky and very soft. The ladies running the shop were very sweet and made light conversation.
I found this place on a whim and was so surprised it wasn't busy at all inside. It felt very trendy and a style of bingsu I've never seen before. I loved the natural light, unique flavors, lots of seating, lots of parking, AND presentation of the bingsu. I hope they get lots more business!!!
surprised to see aiyu cha rebranding to tarae but i think the quality of their drinks have stayed pretty similar! the fruit teas are a little more on the pricey end and i think the toppings are expensive, but they do taste pretty good! the brown sugar boba is chewy and sweet. fruit teas were refreshing and the osmanthus oolong milk tea was okay in flavor. not too milky staff were nice & i like the interior but it gets pretty crowded and was hard to walk in and out (sunday afternoon). overall, drinks were okay but the prices threw us off. would come again to try the bingsu though!
Such a great spot! We tried the strawberry and mango Bingsoo, and both were absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh and refreshing. The customer service was excellent, and the place was very clean. Such a nice experience. we'll definitely be back!
Nice, clean space and friendly staff! Came here for a sweet treat and the mango bingsoo was yummy and refreshing. Minimal seating so you may have to wait for a table if you come.
Love this spot! The tarae bingsu has such a unique texture, almost like pulled strands of creamy ice instead of the usual powder snow from other bingsu spots. They have so many options to choose from as well, the original and strawberry are our favorites. They come with Frosted Flakes, mochi, and red bean so there's something for everyone. Boba here is also good! Recommend giving it a try!
Got a melon bingsu and it was so good ! Worker is helpful and sweet too. Will come back trying more flavors
Just WOW & JUM! Quite a sweet dessert place that I walked or drove by many many times and not even noticed. It's a shaved icy dessert place with different type of fillings and they do have varies types of tea drinks too. The place is packed with mixed ages. Menu is quite nicely looking, and easy order via through kiosk or with the cashier. You might have to wait abit if the place is packed, which it was so 15-20mins waited for us. The dish looks nicely presented and refreshing. We just kept on eating til it all gone, wondering yummy. The fruited are abit frozen so it's abit icy and hard upon eating but if you leave it abit, then it was good. The drink is just great and not too sweet, really enjoyed. The place is nicely well kept and with simple elegant decor. Seatings are along the wall. Spacious & clean, plenty of parking since it's in a big shopping complex. Overall great dessert place with great service and decent prices.

Very friendly service. Clean interior with a minimal vibe. Our bingsu came out quickly even though they were busy. A medium order is more than enough for two. I like that the toppings are off to the side so you can make each bite a different flavor profile. Easy to customize and order whatever toppings you want. It is delightfully smooth for its threadlike appearance. A must try. read more

Dessert: 5/5 This place brings back the shaved snow trend from about 15 years ago, but with a prettier twist! Instead of the traditional mountain of shaved snow, their bingsoo comes shaped almost like a rectangular pillow. We ordered the Fresh Milk Strawberry Tarae Bingsoo and the flavor was perfect--not too sweet, super light, and it practically melts in your mouth. If you're looking for a refreshing dessert that doesn't feel too heavy after a meal, this is it. The $20 price tag might sound a little alarming at first, but it comes with fresh strawberries and is a good portion for about 3-4 people to share. But still, I think the cost should be a little cheaper if they want to strive in this plaza. This shouldn't be anymore than $15 in my opinion. Service & Wait: 4.5/5 Ordering is done through a kiosk, and our bingsoo came out in about 10 minutes. At first, we thought the place was packed, but it turned out that a lot of the crowd was families gathered together in the relatively small space. Location & Parking: 4/5 It's located in a popular shopping plaza, but parking shouldn't be too difficult to find. Ambiance: 4/5 The noise level ranges from moderate to loud depending on the crowd. It's a lively, casual spot that works well for catching up with friends or sharing dessert with family. Overall: 4.5/5 A nostalgic dessert with a modern Korean presentation! If you've never tried bingsu before or are looking for new places to try, I'd recommend this one. The shredded ice cream texture of the bingsu melts on your tongue, and the flavor is not too sweet. Each portion given feeds about 4-6 people with a generous serving of bingsu and, my favorite, strawberries! Also, it comes with cute silver shovels to use as spoons. My only complaint is that the location is small with only one communal table, so it is difficult to find a place to sit and eat. That being said, it is a relatively new business, so overcrowding is not yet an issue. I'd love to return and try the plain milk bingsu with strawberries next time :) read more

i got a large and the portion is huge, so so so good! i got apple mango and it was very fresh and yummy! it came with corn flakes too. the bingsu was not too sweet and very refreshing! staff were very nice and facility was also very clean! def have to come back one day read more

Called in an order and the staff was helpful and accommodating. Arrived at the place and the ambiance was pleasant and the inside was bright and clean. Got the Milo milk tea and Ube cheese drinks and they were yummy! The place ran out of boba but the drinks were still on point! We also ordered the Apple Mango Tarae and it was amazing. It was a silky smooth, right amount of sweetness, with the delicious ripe mangos complimented with the cornflakes toppings, definitely elevated the heavenly dessert. The staff were so nice, they packed the bingsu with care. I'm talking about with multiple icepacks and a cute insulated bag! You have to try the goodies at this place, but most of all support this new and small business. We are definitely coming back! read more

This place is amazing! The bingsu was delicious, and you can really tell they put a ton of care into what they make. But honestly, the best part was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly and so patient with us while we took our time figuring out what to order. They even let us sample some of the toppings first, which was such a nice touch. It's rare to find a dessert spot with such great food and genuinely welcoming people. We'll definitely be back! read more

Went twice 1 time in-person, 1 time to-go. Great service, friendly staff, may have a little wait since it takes a few moments for bingsu to be prepared, but worth the wait!! My personal fav Lotus(Biscoff) Coffee Tarae Bingsu. Not too sweet, perfect coffee flavor, nice crunch from the biscoff cookie and frosted flakes cereal. Best when eaten immediately, but to-go was not bad. Bingsu packaged in cooler bag with ice pack at the bottom. Only to-go if drive is 10-15 minutes. read more
