The food is amazing. I have had the quesadillas, burritos, all the Birria items, etc. They give you nice size portions for the prices and the drinks are reasonably priced/STRONG as well. The customer service is great, it feels like a family ran restaurant. I have been numerous times and I have never had a bad customer service situation. I ordered the Fajita Tamiquenas plate with Beef fajitas. I was disappointed to learn that their flour and corn tortillas were store bought in lieu of being homemade. The plates came out relatively quickly and I thought it was okay. Not bad, not amazing, but it did fill me up which was nice. Fast and friendly service. I found them to be a hair more expensive than I expected, but the food portions were ample. The pork in the taco salad was very flavorful and fresh. The beef in the taco was bland and flavorless. The refried beans had a heavy amount of smokiness. They add a cost to debit and credit card transactions. We ordered two of those which came up to 51$ which they over charged cse for 2 is 32.99$ but I didn't care about the over charged but what we received was just regular fajitas. You can't eat them in the car, all of the ingredients fell out and the meat was dry. I was charged $1 extra for cheese. Including taxes I wasted $9.50 and was left more hungry. Environment: It was extremely clean and surprisingly they had a great playlist with of modern day hip hop/ rnb music. Food: The food was amazing. We started with the usual, chips and salsa. It came with the two sauces one mild one spicy. I tried the seafood soup, which was delicious. It consisted of crab, clam, shrimp, and what I believe to be mini squid or octopus. It came with a side of Spanish rice, lime, cilantro, and onions. The Spanish rice does have a nice kick to it and taste amazing when u dip it in the soup broth. It was extremely savory. My cousin had fries with melted cheese sauce, chicken bits, and avocado. I didn't get a chance to try it but the smile on her face sure let me know it was amaze balls ! I love this place been coming for years. HOWEVER.. there's a waitress named LILLY that ruined everything for me. We sat down, took her 15 minutes to even ask for our drink. When we attempting to order, we were being rushed. Lilly was using hand signals to speed us to up to order. STRIKE 1. I let it go Food gets here, my boyfriend's came out great. My order came out cool too but I didn't know it came with cheese. Lilly sassy ass said well you didn't tell me you didn't want cheese. My 5 star review is based on drive through experience only. Having a baby and dining in a restaurant is a tad difficult so for now drive through is what we do. But let me tell you the food is delicious! I normally order the taquitos plate which consists of 4 mini tacos, with your meat of choice, cilantro, onion, beans (refried or charro), and a jalapeño. Sounds like a little but it's a lot and super delicious. Every time I've been the girls at the window are super nice and friendly. Service was terrible. Waitress took our order after sitting for 15 minutes. During that time she was loudly joking in the kitchen area. Took even longer for the food to come out and when it did it was missing items. My wife and I food came out first and my kid's meal didn't come out until we were almost done with our meal. Not authentic Mexican food. I ordered #7 Carne Guisada accompanied by beans,rice and guacamole. Flavor was unsatisfying. We frequent this establishment once a week as a family. The food never disappoints and the music adds an awesome touch. Giving 4 starts instead of 5 due to tonight's service. Flaco was extremely inattentive and the other servers were willing to assist AFTER we asked them multiple times. When I was a server I would make sure tables were okay, even tables that weren't mine. It's the small things that make a visit that much more enjoyable. Only docking one star for this experience and hoping service will be better on our next visit. Update: We've now come a few times since my initial review and this establishment has only gone down hill since then. Their tortilla soup has decreased in quality and flavor. There is no longer avocado, the "chicken" is a pink cube of uncooked mess, and the vegetables taste like they came straight from the garden. Their pork leg tacos have also decreased in quality. We found about 5 bones in one taco. When we asked the manager about the quality of the soup he stated that "the soup has always been this way" to which we flatly replied "no sir it has not." We frequent this establishment when coming in from Houston. We will give them some space for a while until the food tastes authentic like it used to. read more

Just moved to Texas & wanted some Mexican food. Drove by here & decided to stop in. Their lemonade taste homemade & it was really yummy. I got the cheese enchilada which came with decried beans, rice, lettuce, & tomatoes. The cheese inside the enchilada wasn't all the way melted but I just mixed it with my beans & it was good. While this was not ideal it was even worse that there was karaoke that was so loud we would have not been able to hear any conversation at the table. We decided to just order food to go.
