If you are newly stationed here in Killeen, Texas. There are plenty of spots for Mexican Food. I was drawn to Los Burritos because I was looking for a place that served Carne Asada Fries and there was a positive recommendations here. The food at Los Burritos does not disappoint and comes out quickly. I've tried their California Steak Burrito, Patron Burrito, Chorizo Special Burrito and of course the Carne Asada Fries. All of these are good. Also if you think that Carne Asada Fries couldn't get any better from Los Burritos. Try adding Chicken. This is a true plate of happiness for any food lover.
Hands down the best and most authentic San Diego-style Mexican food we've had since moving here! You can tell everything is made fresh -- from the chips to the fillings, nothing tasted premade or reheated. The taquitos weren't the usual frozen kind you find at most places -- these were clearly made in-house and packed with flavor. Also, big shoutout to the girl at the counter -- she was super sweet, welcoming, and helpful with our order. It's rare to find both great food and genuinely kind service, but this place nailed both. We'll definitely be back!
One of the best burrito spots in the city of Killeen if not the best. They have a wide variety of burrito including the "California", which is normally my go-to. They have a salsa bar as well, great customer service and the food is always hot and fresh. The inside has an authentic feel and is packed during lunch hours daily, with Fort Cavazos Soldiers.
Me & my other half went here and all I can say is, "It's definitely work visiting if you're looking for an authentic restaurant. Very clean, well maintained, & you could tell that the tables and floor are mopped pretty often. I ordered the Wet Burrito which was a pretty decent portion for the price, the flavor definitely was there. My other half ordered the Carne Asada plate which came with 2 Tacos & a lot of Rice & Beans. The Jamaica wasn't too sweet or watered down and just perfectly hydrating and refreshing. One thing I can say is, the meat you get with the servings aren't too fatty & lean, just perfect. Thank you.
A local favorite in Killeen- this place is known for its large-sized California style burritos (w/ potatoes!) during a week-day lunch, this place will be bustling with active-duty Soldiers and for good reason. The menu is varied and the result is delicious. I have tried multiple items on the menu and the super burritos are by far my favorite. Would recommend to anyone!
Los Burritos has a delicious taco combo, I got two flour tortilla shells with beef, pick and guacamole. The combo come with beans and rice. The tacos were delicious and the spicy salsa was the perfect amount of heat. If you are ever in Killeen try Los Burritos!!
I ordered the California Burrito added pico and guacamole it was quite delicious & their red sauce was spicy and good! I'm usually a green sauce girly but the red was the winner for me. Service was good, the restaurant looked clean & well kept, but had a strong oder not sure if they're having issues with their sewer or something , so ate in the car instead of inside but other than that I would def come back for the food it was delicious.
I like this place very much! I recommend the Carne Asada Burrito. My biggest complaint though is I paid for extra Guacamole but never got it. It was always the same amount as the regular burrito. I don't like rice in my burritos so I didn't get the Super. I also tried the flautas but I didn't care for them too much.
Wasn't busy at all during late lunch on a weekend and service was quick. We ordered 10 carne asada tacos for two people which were $3.25 each plus a drink so it was almost $40 -- a bit pricey but maybe it's because it already comes with pico and guac and the servings of the tacos were bigger than expected. We had two leftover tacos that we took to-go but ended up giving them away to a guy on the side of the road and he was munching on them quick too, so even he liked it lol Would recommend if really hungry and looking for some tacos in Killeen.
Sooo yummyMy husband and I have pretty much avoided mexican food in the area because we are used to a kind of mexican food (CA) that we are largely unable to find in TX. But we found Los Burritos and were so incredibly impressed. The burritos are amazing, in particular the California Burrito. It's so good. The only downside is that it doesn't include guac (which kind of is the whole point of a CA burrito) and an upcharge on steak. But I honestly don't even mind paying extra when I can taste a piece of home in Killeen TX. read more
Los Burritos is a hidden gem! The epitome of a mom and pop shop serving California-Styled authentic Mexican food. I've had their burritos (Texas and California), Super Quesadilla (Carne Asada), and tacos (Carne Asada and Barbacoa). All absolutely delicious and stuffed. You get your bang for your buck here. Friendly and efficient service, nice little serve-yourself salsa bar, and great food. An absolute must try! read more

Small, friendly and fast service. Seasoning is not plain but decent flavor. We ordered for pick up coming from Dallas. The salsa was enough to choose from and had kick for both red and green. The pickled jalapeños and carrots was a favorite. Will definitely keep as a go to place for tacos. read more

My husband best friend and I went to a Mexican restaurant in Temple Tx and the food sucked! So I looked up this restaurant on Facebook! Took a chance because we wanted real Mexican food, not Tex-mex! We were very pleased with the selection of real Mexican food. We will come back. read more

I'm nearing the end of my pregnancy and was craving a wet burrito and decided to try this place based of on the reviews. I got the steak wet burrito and it was amazing! The burrito was filled with so much protein! It was exactly what I wanted. My husband got the chicken wet burrito, and I'm taking one star down because the chicken was too salty. read more

I was very happy with my visit here there aren't many good restaurants around base so you can imagine I was very excited to find this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and on top of everything the food did not lack anything just because it was take out, most places don't have the same quality take out as if you were eating in the restaurant so I appreciated that a lot. I will be coming here very often! read more

This California-style hole-in-the-wall was recommended to me from two different people and one is a Californian! I was greeted right away by the cashier. She had to leave for a little while, but the observant cook stepped in right away to take my order. I ordered the veggie burrito with grilled onions. It was huge! It was mostly beans and rice which filled me up and I didn't have an upset stomach. They also have a condiment bar, and the juicy lime and crispy cucumbers were fresh. The close team were friendly, and one of the workers had shown us a beautiful cloth she made. (I insisted in finding out how much she would sell the small piece for. If you are interested it is $10.). I also had the pecan confection, and it was sweet and gooey like caramel -- the flavor was all pecan though. Right now is Lockdown, and there is no indoor seating. The workers in front do wear masks and keep their distance, and you can watch the TV while you wait for your order. It was affordable to eat here and it's a lot of food. They also take card payments with the latest technology. Based on this experience I would visit again and try something different. Enjoy! read more
I got the chorizo Special and it was absolutely delicious. Not only was it delicious but it's a big burrito and for a good price. The inside of the building is clean and it's small but you don't feel crammed. The have a sauce bar if you want to add extra sauces to your food. If you're in the Killeen area this is a must try place! read more
