Still one of our favorite local spots. They have done a nice remodel to brighten the place and replace the tired bathrooms with fresh tile and fixtures. They have also expanded their menu and added seasonal specials. We have always found the service here very good, although some of the staff are a little tentative with English. I wanted something that was quick and made with REAL meat (not Taco Bell)! I ordered two crispy beef fajita tacos with avocados, cheese and salsa. Sadly, NONE of this came with it! Not to mention that I was hit with a $10 price tag for TWO-TACOS-ONLY. No rice, no beans, NOTHING came with it. Although everything was ready quickly, the tacos were horrible. While trying to check out a new restaurant, we happened to come across this place. We decided to order food, but unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. Our taco arrived with hair in it, so we politely sent it back. When the food was returned, the rice also had hair in it. We brought this to the attention of the manager, and instead of addressing the issue professionally, he told us we were the first people to ever have a complaint like this--implying the hair must have come from us. I explained to him that I have thick, curly hair, and the hair found in the food was bone straight, clearly not mine. When I order on Doordash the food is always prepared better. I am a darker skinned woman and I don't speak Spanish. It's really hard to order and the girls get frustrated that they can't understand me. The food isn't bad, but not great. The meat was cold and dry(old), the grilled onions were not fresh onions that were grilled for the order they were old, so old you couldn't even smell them. The charro beans were horrible!!!! The meat was probably not kept at proper temperature and I ended up paying for it at the end, by having major diarrhea twice within an hour of eating at Arandas!!
