But for everything else, I will say that Taqueria La Unica is as good as you could ask for from a no nonsense food truck. Be careful as you drive by, you may miss it. And you will regret you did. It's a little white tow-behind trailer, semi-permanently located on the south side of the road. The tents set up will help find it. It will help to speak Spanish to get exactly what you want quickly, but with patience you will land exactly what you need. This day I went with some of my go-to standards, pork and beef tacos, pork tamale. I was dying for a chili verde burrito, but alas they were out.(next time) They were all very very good. The Gordita they make here was exceptional. They could have had more drink options but that's a trivial note. Drive over, enjoy!

The tacos were bland on their own and seemed to rely heavily on toppings and sauces to add flavor. The overall atmosphere also left much to be desired. This is a small restaurant off of Ocean Dr in Vero Beach! There is a lot of street parking around the restaurant, but also lots a block or so away if you were okay with walking. The restaurant is small, and seating is very limited. We went twice both on week days (once around lunch and the other around dinner) and it was pretty populated both times. The food was SO good! We absolutely loved the tacos and bowl we got. Everything was made to order and tasted so fresh. Prices felt a little steep but we felt that it was likely due to the area and being in a more touristy/vacation heavy spot. We tried the slushy/soft serve mix as well as just the plain orange soft serve and both were a great after taco treat! Overall we enjoyed our meals and treats here and would definitely recommend checking them out if you happen to be in the area!

Rice was broken as if it were scraped from the bottom of a pot. Beans and house tortilla chips were unremarkable. However, the salsa, side salad, and toppings on the tacos were all fresh. Service and atmosphere both had room for improvement. The menu had labels over each price with a new (higher) price written in ink. The tables possessed a huge advertisement and wobbled, the seats were uncomfortable lacking padding and support. There was a claw and arcade machine in the dining area. After receiving the check, I had to walk up to the register to pay. None of these things were conducive for comfort.
