We stopped for a quick lunch. Delicious! I got the special in the board and was not disappointed! 3 Taco Al Pastor- not a taco was left! California vegetables, chicken, rice with cheese my daughters enjoyed it. Carnitas- super yummy and not a lot of fat. We will save it and next time we're in town we will stop in for some yummy food.

What's good here? Everything!!! The Chimi Flan for dessert was beyond amazing. So glad we found this local gem while traveling.

First time here. Stopped at Tin Fish first then walked out. This place is super clean, fresh looking inside, smelled good, smiles at the counter right when we walked in. I had chimichanga and my daughter had tacos. Also a side of pork tamale. Honestly the tamale was a little dry but maybe it's just been under the lamp for a while. Everything else was delicious and we will be back!!

Excellent food and service. We love the food. The meat was delicious. We will come back next time we are in town. We recommend this place 100%

We was looking for a Mexican breakfast and the wife was already wanting to try this place. We stopped in and the first impression is the place is clean but a bit on the dark side. Not hide and go seek dark but it's a little bit dark. There isn't a breakfast section on the menu but there are two breakfast plates on the menu. I had the shrimp devils it was very good. They tell you it is spicy but it was just right. The service was on point and very cheerful. I will be back very soon.

Best Mexican food I have ever had. Chicken soup had an extreme amount of chicken and civiche was off the chart! Will definitely return.

I knew it was a hit because as soon as I walked in the place was packed and this was a Wednesday night. I ordered their loaded nachos, churros and a drink. I'll start off with the nachos. The nachos were everything I had a taste for. No wonder they're award-winning. The churros were good as well. I have had better, but it did satisfy my sweet tooth. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and very welcoming. I love that people were enjoying themselves talking and having a good time. The next time I visit this restaurant, I will definitely be dining in. Can't wait to go back.

In fact, when we left all the booths were occupied plus half the other tables in the middle of the room. They gave us chips and salsa to start. The salsa was just okay. They had a number of lunch specials. We ordered from the combo section. I ordered a chalupa with ground beef without onions and chose the regular beans (vs the refried ones). I had to look up what a chalupa was... and basically it's a softer more bread like wrap. It was fried, so it was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The portion was large with melted cheese. Alongside was a small scoop of sour cream and one of guacamole. A mound of yellow rice and a small taco shell cup of red beans rounded out the plate. It was good, but fairly plain tasting. Adding some salt and salsa helped a bit. My husband got a combo with two different options. He wound up taking one part of his lunch home. His meal came with refried beans and yellow rice. I'm glad we came to try them. Now we know.

I visited on two consecutive nights and had vastly different experiences…read more On the first visit, I dined in and was immediately acknowledged by our server, who was attentive throughout the meal, frequently checking on my drink and ensuring we were comfortable. Even when we accidentally stayed past closing time, she politely informed us without making us feel rushed. The food itself was decent--not exceptional, but very reasonable for the price. The second day, I opted for takeout and had a completely different experience. I walked in and sat at the same table, but no one acknowledged me for about 15-20 minutes, despite there being only one other occupied table in the restaurant. Just as I was about to leave and find another place to eat, a server rushed over to apologize for the delay. When my order was ready, a different employee was about to mistakenly give it to another table. When he offered it to me and I inquired about the order to make sure it was mine, he admitted he wasn't sure and had to check. A few minutes later, yet another person simply asked if I had ordered takeout and handed me the bag. At this point, I waited another 5-10 minutes just to pay. When the original server finally returned, he asked if I had checked the contents of the bag--a strange question, considering it should be their responsibility to ensure accuracy. I took the server's question at face value, but it's very possible that they were being sarcastic. At that point, it didn't matter what was in the bag. I had to leave to go work. Again, the food was acceptable. However, it was not worth the wait and hassle. Though the first visit was fine, the poor service the very next day was remarkable. To make things worse, the restaurant didn't even include utensils in the bag. It's well apparent that some of the staff could benefit from training. When reviewing restaurants on Yelp, I think it's important to set fair expectations based on the type of establishment. This place seems geared towards a lively atmosphere, so I adjusted my expectations accordingly. However, even considering the dining category, certain standards should still be met Lastly, a restaurant that is capable of providing such subpar service probably shouldn't prompt for a minimum 25% tip on takeout orders at their credit card terminal. That was laughable and I am at least grateful for having a good laugh on the way out.

It may not be bright and shiny but it's worth the stop. We had chips and salsa about 2 minutes after we sat down. The server was polite and answered all my questions and did not steer me wrong. I think the burrito was big enough for 3 and I got a to- go box to proof it. They had a local band that was primarily country, so that only made it better. You could easily drive by and miss it, or you can watch for the bright light and listen for the musicians.
