They have varieties of meat selection choice of: asada, pastor, pollo, cabeza, lengua, buche, tripa & chorizo. I like to their gorditas instead of tacos. Went here for the first time this week and I was not impressed. I think most Hispanic people are aware of the best Mexican joints, the cheapest ones too, and this is not one of them. Our service was nice, the ladies are Hispanic and welcoming. The prices for the tacos are pretty pricey for tacos that aren't amazing at all. I had the barbacoa and pastor tacos and these tasted nothing like the meat I've been used to eating every Sunday morning. I probably will not be returning again. Wow. This place seriously was a hole in the wall sorta place for me. I drive by it often and have known it's been here for 10 years or more. I knew of it in high school and that was 10 years ago. Anyways, enough about how old I am. Okay, I finally decided to go out on a whim and satisfy my craving for authentic taqueria food. My husband and I decided to stop and check it out. Accidentally drove past the main and went through the back. Oops, but you can drive through the thru if no one is coming. I had no idea there was a zoo (not literally but a lot of birds). Didn't get to check it out too much as I was HUNGRY. The menu looked like it could be updated to an actual plastic or more durable menu. It's cardboard written on poster board and then covered in tape. Interesting in itself. Besides that I decided to go for a Torta. There is just something about Tortas that I love. I ordered chicken before I had a chance to read reviews. Looked for agua frescas, but they had homemade horchata. I had to get that because I love the flavor of cinnamon. My husband ordered the fajita quesadilla. We didn't wait long maybe 5-10 minutes tops. Looked around and the atmosphere is pretty interesting. Prices are a little high maybe because it's a food truck versus an actual restaurant. It didn't bother me. We ran to our vehicle and tore in. Amazing deliciousness of my torta. It was heaven, no joke. I don't think I have ever tasted something that great before. It was well blending of flavors and the chicken was not dry like previous posters. It was very tender. The quesadilla was a big portion, about 3 halves of a quesadilla folded in half. Did that make sense? Anyways, it was pretty decent and good equal ness of fajita and cheese. Perfect! Green sauce was tomatillo and it was yummy! Too chicken to try the red sauce as other Yelpers! Say it was too spicy so I skipped it. The horchata was magnificent, I have tasted homemade and store bought so I can tell the difference. It was homemade and had a tad more cinnamon which I love. First of all, the price per taco is $2.00 (tripa tacos $2.50). I ordered two carne asada, two tripa, and two chicken tacos. The carne asada tacos were small with very little meat but the meat was tender so they were just ok. Tripa tacos were the best (I think) cause they were not chewy at all and seasoned just right. The chicken tacos let me just say I've had better. So if you are really hungry this is not the place you want to go because the tacos are small and more expensive than some other places around town. read more

This place is totally wild. Staying at a motel in Cypress, we were trying to find a place to eat at 1am on a Thursday. This was the only option nearby, and boy am I glad we went. I had two tacos (pastor and lengua), a beef quesadilla, and a sincronizada (which I'd never heard of, and neither had anybody I was with, and was DELICIOUS). Really enjoyed everything, as did everyone else I was with. We even all went back for seconds. Plus, I was able to watch two baby bunnies cuddle while an adult bunny sat next to a wild rabbit outside the cage, which also contained 9 doves. Not to mention the parakeets and parrots. I've been to a lot of restaurants and a lot of food trucks and this is one of the most bizarre places I've been. A truly unique experience. Also, the ladies serving up food were very nice and friendly. And the music selection was great. AND they take credit cards! Probably my favorite dining experience during my visit to Houston. I am a big fan of taqueira's although finding one can be hard that is A.) good, quality food, and B.) safe to eat. The worst part is the selection in the immediate area of 290 west past Highway 6 is limited for a good taqueria besides your taco trucks from new home construction. Using yelp in my last ditch attempt at finding a good taqueria that I don't have to drive 20-30 miles to get to, led me to this place. First impressions this place is quirky, lots of exotic birds (mainly parrots, lovebirds, and a macaw that thinks he/she is a dog), indoor boat seating (air conditioned), flat screen TV on the patio. Not a great place to eat in the searing temperatures as of late (see 100+), but I went on a Sunday morning that was breezy and a cool 80ish degrees. Very nice atmosphere. The people were very friendly, a gentleman was feeding the birds, and cleaning up the area from random debris in and around the eating area (always a good sign when you see people cleaning). Now onto the food. I order the basic gamut of beef fajita, chicken, pork, and chorizo and egg. All tacos came with the standard cilantro and chopped onions except the chorizo and egg. I also ordered them all with corn tortillas. The tortillas definitely are not homemade, they are your typical grocery store tortillas. Not a bad thing, but homemade corn tortillas can turn a mediocre taco into something spectacular. Not a bad thing, but it definitely does not help the taco. The beef fajita was your typical cooked beef fajita from any place you want to get it. Nothing to write home about. Those were $2 bucks a piece. The chicken was above average, the definitely use some good spices to bump up the flavor those tacos ran $1.75 a piece. Here comes what make it a 4 star in my book. The pork tacos are hands down the best I have ever tasted. I have eaten at many a taco joint in San Antonio and Houston, and I have yet to taste a better pork taco. Not uber greasy, lots of good spice flavor that does not overwhelm the pork taste. Squeeze a lime on that bad boy and I have to force myself to not continue to eat myself to death. I highly suggest this as your first taste if this is your first time here. $1.75 a piece The chorizo and egg was very good as well. NOT GREASY, which is a huge pet peeve of mine. Usually ordering chorizo and anything I get a taco drowning in pork grease. This is not the case with these tacos. Very good red salsa, heat comes on the back end, and it is not overwhelming at all. Good flavor overall. Cant go wrong if you want this as your breakfast taco. $1.50 a piece The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star is the price. About $.25 to $.50 more than your average taqueria, especially when you consider the portions are not huge. I want to emphasize they are adequate portions, in that 4 tacos should fill you up plenty, but for nearly $1.50 - $2 dollars I would expect more. The quality and flavor of the pork and chicken more than make up for my only negative comment at this establishment. The green sauce is key, always worth paying a little extra for more of the little packs they give you to bring home. The green sauce is to die for. The dark red sauce is kind of smoky and spicier of the two. They accommodate my requests of pico and cream and they have the Mexican bottled orange Fantas and Coke. To top it off, they accept credit card. Pretty awesome for a food truck. Definitely give their breakfast tacos a try as well. Delicious! This is hands down my favorite go to for tacos. I rotate my options each time between chicken,beef and barbacoa. They are small tortillas but they are so filling. They serve a green and a red sauce, and the green is my favorite. It's a great place to stop after a night out, but I guarantee that you won't be the only one with that thought so call ahead or be prepared to wait for at least 20 minutes! I went last night and it was my first time there. The lady there was so nice to me, I felt like I was at home. I am vegan so I got the tacos de nopal, they normally come with egg but she made them without egg just for me. The tacos were absolutely amazing and this was the only truck that was oven 24 hours in my area. Finally sampled this Food Truck and I was NOT disappointed at all. Had one each of the Tongue, Tripe and Pastor Tacos on corn tortilla. All withing a $2.00 range and was absolutely delicious! Tacos are flavorful - garnished with chopped onions and cilantro and served with lime. They have 2 sauces which you can ask for - a hot salsa and a mild cilantro flavored one. Also tried their large pork and chicharon quesadilla - AMAZING and very filling. Quite an interesting location - very rustic and fun. They have severals tables but you can do drive thru as well. They have been raising prices on breakfast tacos during the day by 25 cents if it's at a certain time. also I have been given very little hot sauce. Stingy with their sauce and raising prices is a no go for me. It's too bad because this place used to be really good. I'll go somewhere else. I asked for an extra bag of hot sauce because she only gave me one bag. I was told to pay them 25 cents for it, I reluctantly gave them my money but they used to give you two bags for free. Maybe I was selectively chosen to pay more, or it depends on who is working. Whatever the reason; this was an unpleasant experience that left a bad taste in my mouth. They're being inconsistent with their pricing and they have the right to do so but I won't be going here because I can't afford it. I've been turned away because I didn't have enough on more than one occasion and wasted gas coming over here. I won't be doing it again. Delicious. We have been here dozens of times, and are never disappointed. It can tiake a while if they are busy, like other reviewers have metioned. It's worth the wait though. It's a run down taco truck in the middle of what appears to be a landfill. With that being said the food is delicious at 3am when you are not in the mood for Whataburger or breakfast food. The workers can have an attitude but I probably would also if I dealt with drunk people all night.
