I love breakfast tacos, but I'm very picky. I've tried multiple different spots in Cypress and hands down, this is the BEST. These tacos were hot, full of flavor and fresh. It's a hidden gem for sure. And now my new favorite.

These are real street tacos, and if you don't believe me, go and see who's lining up to buy them (hint: it's not food bloggers). The price is around 1.50 per corn taco and is higher for flour (sorry, I don't remember, but it's either 1.75 or 2.00), and they only take cash. Order 3-5 tacos per person, and in turn you'll receive the most humble of culinary masterpieces: small tacos filled with tender meat, grilled onions, cilantro, avocado, a small bag of limes, and a couple green sauces. It's all you expected, and it's all you need. I also want to drop a HEAVY recommendation for their barbacoa. This place was here before Hwy 6 Tacos, and I'd say they're better. They get no credit because they're only open for lunch, so go for lunch and you won't regret it.

Absolute worst tacos ever had. The meat had no flavor at all. The avocado tasted old. Absolutely no flavor whatsoever. What a waste of money. I will never go there again. This was obviously just a waste of money, the food is terrible. However the hot sauce was really good. They also label to Tacos which was really cool and convenient. They actually went out of the way to put a lime I need Taco that was wrapped. I thought that was really nice as well but again the food was terrible. The Fajita had absolutely no flavor. The pastor was cold and had no flavor at all. They did well with the hot sauce but the meat taste old and cold and I will never go there again. I wouldn't give these tacos to my dog or an enemy.

#tacosjose: 2 el pastor and 2 carne Asada// $7 Back when I worked at the kennel club (it's in the parking lot of the gas station next store) this was a daily necessity. My vains would begin getting the itch for their el pastor during lunch and my craving needed to be fulfilled. This is the best #taco spot in cypress in my opinion. Consistent and bold flavors that will make you weak in the knees. This place is cash only so make sure you bring enough because one taco is not enough. I hadn't been in a few years to be honest, but the quality is still just as succulent and tender as I remember. Only thing they added was avocado which is a thoughtful addition but I actually thought it didn't need it. Shocker I know but the avocado added creaminess and downplayed the spices that the #elpastor has so order one without it too so you can get the full body. IG: @hiddenfoodgems

I have been coming here just around a year now they have amazing fajita and egg breakfast tacos. The best ... beats taqueria Ruby's any day . Never had a bad experience or not fresh food . The two women who take your order speak and understand English perfectly . Which I know in Houston not all taco trucks have that so it's a deff plus for me .

Finding authentic TJ flavor in Texas (not Tex-Mex) was a welcome surprise! Our carne asada was grilled al carbón and you could taste the char! Juicy carne full of flavor, thin but strong and tasty tortillas (they really held everything together well), perfect chunky guac (not too fancy or full of fillers--IYKYK), and a variety of delicious salsas and hot sauces! An added bonus was the complimentary chicharrones! I'll take those over tortilla chips any day! The dining room isn't very big, but it's clean and has good a/c....there's an outdoor patio as well. Service was fast and friendly. Tacos and burritos were hefty and full of flavor. Ample parking. So glad that my family from San Diego (who I know get real Mexican taco shop cravings) can get a taste of home right in their Houston backyard!

Limited indoor seating, and since it gets busy we usually order to go. When I did dine in it was nice experience, feels authentic like eating a local spot in Mexico. You have the Mexican cokes available, the style of tacos has a big scoop of guac which makes them a bit unique compared to other spots that charge extra for guac. Their tacos are big too! Not the mini small taco tortillas you get in a food truck. These are big tacos so getting 2 is enough for me. I've tried their Asado tacos and their quesadillas and their quesabirrias all 10/10.

I ordered two drinks instead of three and I disputed that and he ended up telling me to get out of his restaurant and he picked up the phone to call the police keep in mind. It's tucked off in Houston Texas somewhere I'm here for work. I decide to go to a friendly bar, which I thought it was I went there and dined there I paid for my food I tipped and then on my way home. I was like that was a cool place. Let me go back so I went back to order the same drink that I ordered, but then insert the manager his name is Michael I think but I'm gonna put the address here and the phone number please don't patronize these people until you know that they've done right by other people. I will continue to post this until I've heard back from this place from a general manager or somebody other than the manager of the restaurant. I will continue to post this. It's not right. It was a Hispanic male. The manager you chose to represent your brand but could not represent it. I try to support local businesses but this type of service is uncalled for. I am at a conference and let all the patrons that were about to meet me there what happened. Management please do better. I called you guys, no answer and the run around about the manager's name at this location. Very rude and called the cops!! Please save your money. It's so many restaurants around don't go here unless they change the management. I still would be sus tho. They are tucked in the back so word of mouth is really all they got. As a GM of an establishment myself, this was totally uncalled for. An $8 that I would have gladly payed for because I had just come in there hours before with no issues. I paid and tipped well and was thinking this place is nice let me go back and was in for an awful treat. I don't want anybody no matter who they are experiencing what I experienced last night on September 27th 2026 9pm on or about. I am an influencer we come to different places so we can have good food and post positive things about them, but I can't say the same for this restaurant no matter what your orientation is this place will discriminate against you. I went the night before to show my team around because the restaurant was highly recommended. 1805 W 18th St Houston, TX 77008 United States The manger on duty at 9pm Pimlico Pub HEI took unauthorized amount on my credit card. There's even a security guard on site, which only adds to the impression that this place is fire. So when I happened to drive by on a 100-degree afternoon and found no line, I took it as a sign to finally give it a try. The small parking lot adjacent to the truck was nearly empty, except for a few other patrons who probably had the same idea. Ordering was simple and to the point. The menu keeps things straightforward: a selection of meats served as tacos or plates with a handful of sides. I ordered two barbacoa tacos with salsa verde. Less than two minutes after placing my order, they were in my hands. Fast service on a scorching day is always appreciated. With no seating available, I retreated to the comfort of my car to eat. Based on the amount of grease packed into these tacos, I would recommend doing the same. Eating them while standing could end with your shirt becoming an unintended side dish. One thing to note: don't count on a generous napkin supply. I realized after returning to my car that none were included. Consider keeping a few emergency fast-food napkins in your glove compartment. Those leftover Taco Bell napkins may finally fulfill their destiny. The barbacoa was flavorful, the salsa verde complemented it well, and overall, the tacos were overall tasty. That said, I left somewhat underwhelmed considering the crowds I routinely see gathered here during lunch and dinner hours. Perhaps I'm missing the standout item that keeps customers lining up daily. Even so, if you happen to have cash in your pocket and find yourself craving authentic tacos, this truck is certainly worth a stop.

I don't like cinnamon but the horchata was addicting and it paired so well with the food. My friend got their Melon Agua Fresca and he said it was really refreshing as well. The gorditas were stuffed and they were so delicious, the cheese was melting and the bread was warm and not dry. The Quesadillas were my favorite. You put both the red sauce and the green sauce on it, a lot of lime juice, and it's perfect. I forgot to order cilantro on mine but they do give you it at no extra cost. The prices are so cheap and you get so much food. Everything is around $3 and it will fill you up. Each of us totaled out to be about $10-15 per person and we were stuffed. I would definitely come back here over and over again! My friend said the only bad thing about this place is when you order to go, they won't give you a lot (no lime, no hot sauces, less meat, etc.) so definitely get dine-in.
