So late one night I decided to head to the gym. Didn't get very far cause I ran into this little gem first. I realized that this is a much better looking gem than the gym that I was heading to, so I figured hey, its closer and it doesn't require any membership. So I parked in front of this gem and was checking out all the amenities they had on the menu. There were tacos and pollo and tortas and quesadillas. I mean all the cool things where at this gem that my gym didn't even offer. And the tacos were just $1.50 a piece. Humph. So you know what I said? "To hell with my gym!" I commenced to ordering about a dozen tacos to take back home and share. Let me tell you those babies did not fail me. I was filled with excitement and the house was overjoyed with the taste and smell created from my new found gem. The energy level in the house was very high and there was joy and laughter and I was the hero for the night. My other gym just couldn't compare. Such a meager cost to bring happiness for the whole family before bedtime. The next day, after work and grabbing the kids, I returned to this new gem once again. (You know, to start a good routine as you should at a gym.) Once again it did not fail us and we were happy and full of energy once again. Workout and prosper.

I was super excited when I read all the great reviews. I just ate and now Im just utterly confused. Chicken was tender but salty with not much flavor. Costillas & beef fajita very tough and chewy. Had a pan fried flavor like its not grilled. Sausage is sausage. Charro beans bland. Rice was very tasty. Actually loved the spicy green sauce. That was good. Guess I'll continue my search for good grilled Mexican food in the Cypress area cuz this was NOT it. I'm talking Northside/Airline Drive good.

Friendly, open late, and conveniently located. It's tucked away in the front corner of the Prime Mart/Exxon. They have a variety of food choices and beverages as well.

Waited 30 minutes for some horrible tacos. Don't recommend at all. Should've went to the taqueria and cooked it myself.

Nashville Hot, Not Hot Enough Came here with my friend and…read morewe split a full order of the Urban Fries in Nashville Hot. The portion size was really good and both of us left full & bloated. The tenders pieces were huge and there was the perfect ratio of fries to Mac. Overall, I would give the Urban fries a 3.5/5. The chicken itself was a bit on the dryer side and some pieces were tough, but the coating was nice and crispy. Furthermore, the fries were pretty standard with some crisp and pretty thick. The best part was the Mac n cheese which was really creamy. I was a bit on the fence on if I like the flavor of the sauce they used though. The Bird Sauce was really sweet and reminded me of a honey mustard. I personally thought it was a bit too sweet but the more I ate it the less I was opposed to it. Also, the Nashville Hot didn't have any heat at all and I wish there was more overall flavor. I think I would come back to try a different flavor and maybe up the spice level. Service/Ambiance: Service was fine and there was quite a wait for the food (but that just means it's super fresh). The vibe inside reminded me of a fast food restaurant where you order and then never really talk to the staff again.

Thus, we were literally in shock when we entered into the venue and realized that it is a SIT-DOWN RESTAURANT! I didn't think it would be fast food style like Popeye's or KFC. However, I imagined it would be along the line of Cane's, but a little more upscale. My first reaction was, "Aww man, I'm going to have to pay more for something that is already sort of pricey." I'm thinking in terms of tipping. HOWEVER, I actually had a really great time here. The menu is simple, yet unique simultaneously with monthly special burgers and Korean inspired flavors. I LOVE the fact that you can substitute the crispy chicken for GRILLED. I'm all about eating out, enjoying food, but also trying to select better options. Healthy eating doesn't mean boring! This place seems like an American/Korean fusion restaurant, or an Americanized version of Bon Chon. The vibe is really cozy, intimate, and chill. It's a great spot to casually hang out with friends or family. The wait for the chicken was long, BUT it was worth the wait. The food was hot and fresh. The Korean BBQ OG Grilled Chicken Sandwich - It was huge! Even though I am a petite 95 lb lady, I devoured that sandwich. The flavor wasn't an authentic Korean flavor, but it wasn't bad! It was more sour and salty for my taste. I think it would balance out more if there were no pickles, and a mixture of the kimchi carrot slaw + regular mayo based coleslaw. Szechuan Fries - The Szechuan mustard sauce is powerful and incredibly overwhelming. I do NOT recommend that sauce at all. I think if you order these fries, just OMIT that mustard sauce. I felt like all my sinuses cleared up and my eye balls were about to pop out. Dirty Fries - You can't go wrong with cheese fries. I am not a sour person, so I didn't enjoy the pickles on the fries. Our server, Brenna, was INCREDIBLE! She is the main reason why this review is getting a 5 star. She didn't know that it was basically our first time and she still gave us exceptional service. She was friendly, patient, and sweet. We ordered the Szechuan Fries because it was a free offer upon signing up for their rewards program. I told her I didn't like the mustard sauce and she offered to get us the Dirty Fries! I was like, "What?!" The fries were already free, so I didn't expect her to even offer a substitution. ALSO, for the Kid's Meal, she let us know that the side could be substituted for something else at no extra charge. If she didn't make that known to us, we would have had no idea. I'm glad she mentioned it because the boys LOVE mac & cheese, so that was perfect. Also, we were already getting fries, so it helped us to get more variety. All in all, the place is a little expensive, but I had a great time. The service was superb, the food was great, and I noticed that they are involved in the community. I love supporting businesses that give back. Thus, I would recommend trying this place out, even if it's just once!

Boy was I surprised to be seated by a hostess only to glance around to find a bar, enclosed patio and semi open kitchen. Did the meal itself differ from its fast casual counterparts? Not by much, but the offerings were more robust. I love to see pie on the menu alongside shakes, and while Mac and cheese and fries are welcome, orange chicken, Korean spices, broccoli salad, collards and heavenly eggs are a welcome change of pace. Our first trip (dine in) was about a 4-5 star experience. I waiter was not the most attentive and the food took quite awhile but the experience was positive enough for me to return. The second trip was a drive thru experience and it was...not as pleasant. Our service wasn't the best, our attendant less than enthused to be doing their job. A matter of fact, I felt like I was bothering her by ordering. While my food was fine, my sandwich came without napkins and again the food (one sandwich) took quite awhile. I'm unsure if I'll return with so many options in the area, but I'm glad I experienced them twice!

This place brings authentic Deep South flavors and hospitality straight to Texas, and every single bite reminded me of home-cooked meals from down South. The signature chicken tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, and seasoned to perfection, easily some of the best I've had anywhere. Paired with their seasoned dirty rice, their fluffy, buttery biscuits and perfectly seasoned french fries, it was a match made in heaven. I also had to try the famous Bo Berry biscuit, and it did not disappoint, warm, sweet, bursting with blueberries and that classic glaze that makes it impossible to stop at just one. Of course, no Southern meal is complete without a tall cup of sweet tea, and theirs was exactly what I hoped for: strong, refreshing, and perfectly sweetened like grandma made it. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and full of flavor, and the whole experience felt like a warm Southern welcome. If you're looking for that genuine Deep South taste without leaving Texas, Streets Chicken is the spot. Highly recommend. ! I'll definitely be back for more! Rod Gray Cypress, TX

My wife and I were sharing and she settled on the Steak Biscuit breakfast sandwich because she'd heard it tastes like the old Grandy's steak biscuit (I don't remember ever eating at Grandy's). We ordered on the app and picked up in the drive thru. The attendant was friendly and told us to pull up to the stop sign to wait for fresh food. The Steak Biscuit and Bo-Tato Rounds came out hot. I liked the biscuit, but the steak was too thin and got lost. My wife said, "It kind of tastes like Grandy's, but Grandy's was better," it has to have been 40 years since she's eaten there. The real star for me was the Bo-Tato Rounds! I would go back just for those. They were hot, flaky and just greasy enough to have that forbidden "it's bad for you" tater bliss!

I'm the one that was mistaken. With a Caniac craving, I arrived past 9pm on a Sunday to the busiest Cane's I've ever see. The drive-thru line wrapped around the building. The parking lot remained full. The amount of vehicles circling the building hoping to find a spot caused mild traffic disturbances. Waze marked the lead in road as red for standstill traffic- okay, I'm kidding with that one, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Among all of this, the employees of Cane's stayed strong. Like a well oiled machine they powered through the endless line. They were efficient for sure, but I was most impressed by their care and customer service. This team is truly running like a well oiled machine. As far as the food, Cane's is Cane's. If you're new to this concept, you really only need to keep two things in mind. 1. They serve 4 main items, fried chicken tenders (yes, only tenders), crinkle fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast. These 4 items are offered in a handful of variations and combinations. 2. No matter which combo tickles your pickle, enjoy it with Cane's sauce. In addition to a basic requirement for the chicken, it also pairs well with the fries, their Texas toast, and most any protein or savory bread you have lying around the house. Long story short, if you can handle the crowds, you've earned your chicken.
