Amazing flavors! The customer service was the best we have ever received at a food truck! The prices are great as well!

First time visit to this small and excellent restaurant…read more Located at the corner of Fry Road and Mound Road it has a restaurant seating area of about 50 and a large bar area for 20 more. The menu is short but includes most of the classics. I had the Seafood Tacos and my wife had the Chicken Mole Enchilada. The tacos were surrounded by a flour tortilla (corn is also available) with fish that can be grilled or steamed. Packed with flavor from the onions, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and more I enjoyed every last bite. The plate included rice, beans, and sliced red onion. Delicious My wife loved her selection as well. The serving was big enough to take home what was not consumed allowing her an extra day to enjoy the mole. We also ordered a side of guacamole which was served as a huge rounded scoop on a plank. Don't get me started on the chips we used to eat every last bit of the guacamole. When we told our waiter, Jose, how much we liked the chips he gave us a bag to take home! I had some today and they were still crunchy with a hint of salt. Now to drinks: my wife had the house Pinot Grigio and I the house margarita which I ordered frozen with no salt. The margarita had a clear lime note but did not suffer from it. All in all we agreed that Carmelita's deserves a return visit next time Mexican food is our choice.

Usually excellent. Tonight sucked!…read more Tonight came in and sat at the bar. Ignored for 10 minutes so we got up and left. Weren't many people there. They HAVE to do something about the smell from the Nail Salon next door that permeates everything and actually makes me nauseous.

Shocker -- they make EVERYTHING here, including the desserts we selected from their bakery section…read moreand thought were really good!!! Given all the shortcuts that so many restaurants take, this place deserves a "5" just for the fact that they do make everything themselves. And our meal was really excellent as well and a very fair price. We started with a Cheese quesadilla and our special request to have onions in there as well. It was good. For brunch we ordered the $12 Concha French Toast because Mr. Picky has a sweet tooth. That is Concha bread soaked in vanilla bean custard, topped with caramel, toasted coconut, cinnamon, whipped cream and berries. Mr. Picky didn't even need the side syrup. I like savory items and I so ordered the El Valle which was also $12. Two cheese enchiladas which I topped with sunny side up eggs, served with white rice and refried black beans. I added seasoned ground beef into the enchiladas and that was an extra $2. I requested white cheese enchiladas, don't know if that was standard or not. I am not a huge bean lover, but I have to tell you that the refried black beans on that plate were delicious. Very filling dish, tasted really good and it was a great value. Brunch is served Saturday & Sunday from 9am-3pm. I think this is the best breakfast/brunch I've had in the past two years. Generous amount of food and I couldn't finish it all. They have a bakery section and we walked over to look and see what we wanted to have for dessert. We couldn't decide between the interesting-looking carrot cake, the praline cheesecake or flan on top of chocolate cake. So we ordered and shared all three! LOL. Our favorites were the carrot cake and the praline cheesecake. I think this is the best breakfast/brunch we've had in the past two years. Generous amount of food and I couldn't finish it all. Five stars for making everything themselves, waiter Eduardo was very helpful, and we're definitely coming back soon!!!

Our waitress was polite and attentive. Food and drinks: Big selection in both areas. They offer different menus depending on a time of the day. All menu items looked good. We opted for Molcajete dish. The meats were tender, sauce had great flavours without being too spicy and all side dishes were tasty. This dish is plenty for party of two. Pricing; $$ - worth it for the quality of food served.

Get the pork belly bites and their cocktails are delicious…read more If you're here on a Sunday for brunch and have a sweet tooth the French toast is unforgettable. No other French toast will come close. Their homemade sauces make more tantalizing. If you like salty spicy, get the jojo sauce. I don't think it's on the menu And to finish, personally I like cocktails but their fresh filled churros are super fun. And can't beat the fresh factor! Brandon is an excellent attentive server. Rodrigo & Araceli were amazing, ensuring everything was going smoothly and according to plan. Our servers Augusto and Christian, were very attentive, kind, and on point with our food and drinks. Food was exquisite and portions were generous, cooked to perfection. The churros with chocolate and the complimentary photos for the birthday girls was the cherry on top. Ambriza's management & staff truly know how to make their guests feel special. They went above and beyond, exceeding all of our expectations. Definitely having more celebrations here in the future! Juan...if you are still the owner please hear this message:…read more I said that I was going to come back to Soto's after 12 months from my last review to see if the atmosphere and service have changed. It has NOT; after 2 years. The paper schedules are still at the end of the bar obstructing space. They barely greeted me, only until I gave eye contact. I ordered a drink and no one followed up with me to ask if I wanted food or if I needed anything. They are looking at me like I don't belong, and maybe I don't in this establishment because I feel totally unwelcome. I'm sitting here watching managers and staff smiling, greeting other patrons, so customer service isn't lost on this staff. I will never set foot in this place again, and I DO NOT recommend you to spend your money in this establishment...the only good thing, was the bartender made a good margarita and the pico based salsa was spicy, flavorful and the right consistency. One other observation....when the bartender collected my empty margarita glass she took two napkins to pick it up. One on either side and transported it to the repository. I sat and watched how she handled the couple sitting next to me empty glasses...you guessed it. She touched their glasses with her bare hands around the rim. If the manager is reading this...pull the tape (I was there from 4:00pm- 5:00pm. Other than that, ummmm I'll pass on this place.
