Taco salad

The food was amazing. Super generous portion.'had a friend come from out of town and he hasn't been here in 2 years; the only thing he wanted was to eat here. I got the usual carne asada. I love the cactus. Delicious and generous portion. Staff was very attentive today and friendly.

Friendly service, excellent food. If you're looking for authentic Mexican, this is the place!

Service is always great, very reasonable prices and large portions of any entree we've ever eaten there. Several drink and food specials daily!

Found this place via Yelp while doing some out of town training for work. Absolutely delicious. Friendly staff. Fresh food. First night I had chorizo pollo it was fresh and delicious. Chicken was not over cooked and the chorizo was not covered in the weird orange grease like you get sometimes with not actual chorizo. Second night I had 12 wings and out of the 12 only 2 flats were undercooked. That was ok because other then that the wings were cooked very well. Crispy on outside. Tender and juicy on inside. I will def come back here and recommend this place to anyone in area.

Great tacos for lunch.

My favorite restaurant in the area. Fast consistent and delicious. Can't go wrong with burritos Guerrero or grilled chicken tacos supreme. I come here at least once a week.

The el pastor meat was delicious, the beef ribs were so tender and flavorful, the fried fish (mojarra) was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced and the homemade hot sauces were quite delicious. I almost missed out because the sign had a different name but I came in hoping they had birria tacos. The food came out pretty quickly and oh my. The consommé was so rich and addicting. I ended up sopping every drop on the chips I had left after devouring the tacos. The meat was so tender and flavorful,l. What a epic lunch. They keep everything very clean. It's a nice little space. The back wall of flowers and embroidered pillows were a nice touch. I would definitely come back to satisfy my birria cravings. The consommé was a solid 9. Would have been a 10 if it wasn't as soupy. I prefer a thicker consistency. The taco itself a solid 9. Could have been a tad crispier and warmer. The salsa was the only thing I didn't care for. It was very sweet. I recommend you to come by and check them out. I'm stuck on the birria tacos so I'll have to force myself into ordering something new. Thumbs up. Best in a couple weeks.

Went to try this place for the first time and it will definitely not be our last!…read more This is such a hidden gem in the area and the food is reasonably priced and delicious. The entrance can be from the front of the restaurant or the back end and parking wraps around the building. You can sit anywhere you please (at least from what we saw) there is no outdoor seating but the decor and everything inside is really nice. They have a large variety of Mexican dishes, we tried shrimp fundido, mojarra frita and a kids quesadilla. They have homemade corn tortillas and aguas frescas (horchata and tamarindo). Everything was seasoned just right, our food came with salad rice AND beans. The aguas were delicious and not overly sweet. And we weren't waiting a long time for our food. Chips and salsa are homemade and salsa isn't spicy, we did get a cheese dip and it was worth the money. They also provide you a variety of hot sauces, there is a green and red salsa they gave to the table and the red salsa definitely has a kick but it was so delicious I'd buy just the salsa if I could. Service was 10/10, everyone was super friendly, there was music playing and it was just an overall great vibe. If you've not tried this place, definitely go.

I've had this place bookmarked for a while...sadly the bookmark is getting removed…read more The good: We were quickly seated and had our choice between a booth or table. We luckily beat the Sunday after church rush too because there was a bit of a wait 30 minutes after we came. For my entree I ordered the lunch special pastor burrito. The burrito was a nice size for lunch. The green sauce had a nice flavor and a bit of heat that the sour cream helped to calm. The pork was marinated very well, was plentiful, and the mandatory pastor pineapple was a nice touch as always. The bad: Salsa, chips, and Mexican rice were bland. The guac on my husband's plate was missing a hint of lime and salt The ugly: Service.....Actually what service?!? The waitress never came back after taking our order. Also, when ordering, I accidentally dropped my straw right by the waitress's feet. I am very visibly pregnant, so bending over to grab anything on the floor is a challenging workout. Instead of offering me another or picking it up for me (it was still wrapped), she just stared at it. I braced myself on the table to pick it up and almost flipped the table (water spilled and items went sliding). Instead of looking in shock, offering to help clean up the water or even laugh, she gave me the Gen Z stare..... this should have been our warning sign for the non existent service that was to come. My main lunch entree was 4 stars (sadly can't say the same for the sides or my husband's), but the service... I honestly should subtract more than 1 star but feeling more generous than they were with their service ;)

Not sure if is commercial reason or what. They should have a separate line for people that consume 3 to 5 pounds that the standard family consumption. They will do it only if you buy the food. As much as I love the tortillas in this place I have to really think about it lines exceed 30 minutes. If they fix this problem then they should get the 5 star. In the same Shopping center. Next door they have an excellent bakery with very friendly staff. I half mexico style bakery and half Colombian and is excellent. There aren't very many Mexican stores in the area so I only had 2 options to go do since this is a really small town. The have a decent selection of items but wish they offered more. I guess being from Cali I set the bar high. I went to the meat counter I got 1.5 lbs of flank steak which I think their prices are overpriced at $14.99 a lb sheesh! I also got diced asada from street tacos as well it was still on the pricey side but not crazy like the flank. I also bought there homemade tortillas which honestly weren't good they were hard and stuck together what a waste of money we didn't like then at all. When you come here you'll need to have patience as when I went only one person in the whole place spoke English so you have to wait for that one person to come and help. Overall, I'd probably stop by again for other iris like the baked goods and the fresh drinks they make. This place is only just way too expensive.

As my friend and I followed behind her to be seated, I began to notice that she was leading us away from everyone else and toward an isolated area near the bar. What immediately stood out to me was that no one else was seated there, and neither of us drinks. At the same time, I could clearly see several empty tables available in the front dining area where all of the Caucasian customers were seated. As an African American woman, I felt confused, saddened, and deeply uncomfortable. It was difficult not to question why we were being separated from everyone else. With respect, I explained to the waitress that I did not want to sit "in the back" and politely asked if we could be seated in the same area as the other guests. She appeared visibly annoyed and stated that she would have to go ask someone. At that moment, I had no desire to argue or create a confrontation. No one should have to feel unwelcome or question whether they are being treated differently while simply trying to enjoy a meal. Rather than endure further embarrassment or discomfort, my friend and I quietly chose to leave. It was frustrating to experience something that made me feel unseen and separated while spending my money just like every other customer. I am not my ancestors, and I refuse to accept being made to feel hidden, excluded, or less deserving because of the color of my skin. Every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and equality!
