First time visiting the area from out of state and this taqueria was recommended by a family member who has become a regular now coming for tacos every Tuesday. Their tacos are fresh and the best I've tried, I ordered the chicken torta and I was very impressed with the flavor and presentation, it's on my list to go back and order another torta before I leave California. The service and ambience are very welcoming and warm. Just a heads up, their spicy salsa on the birria taco is spicy. read more

Food was ok if there was no guacamole on because you don't know if the person is allergic to avocado

I came here today May 4. 1:36 pm The cashier samantha and the whole team looked like they're tired or irritated for some reason i dont know what it is but they need to work on it. I asked if they can putt veggies on the side because they over stuff them alot with veggies. And they guy didnt listen and put everything into the quesadillas . I heard samantha telling the guy who was preparing the tacos that if he put veggies on the side and he said no , i didnt know . When i told him myself i want everything on the side. Even samantha told him its written down .I asked for jicama water and they gaved me horchata that was really sweet. Needs to be down with water. Over all i wasn't satisfied... read more

SERVING OLD DRINKS! We ordered 4 horchatas and the cashier (a lady with poor customer service) gave our drinks to the people that ordered right after us and because they had no more horchata, she proceeded to give us old horchata that was sitting out and most definitely watered down. I'm very disappointed and they need to do better with serving to who ordered first. She also never mentioned that our drinks were ready. She claimed the horchata was someone else's that they had forgot..how gross..but she "changed the lid" makes it better right?? read more

Legit TJ style tacos here. Very reasonably priced for how good they are. The tortillas are freshly hand made as it should be.

Delish!!! The service is amazing, the on thing, I wish they had catering. But other than that I love the TJ style tacos! Highly recommend!!

I was looking for some tacos en the Compton area. We came across El poblano. I order 3 tacos Birria- 6-10 Birria was ok in flavor side, but it was on the dry side, Maybe some consomé would've helped. Al Pastor 6.3-10 The Al pastor was ok did really taste the flavor the guacamole over powered it. Asada 9-10 The asada was seasoned perfect and nice charcoal smoked flavor paired by perfect with the guacamole and salsa I would definitely go back and grab some asada tacos! read more

We tried the chorizo, asada and pollo! All of them are bomb must try! Tortillas hechas a mano bit plus too. read more

Hands down some of the best tacos I've had in a while it's about 20 minutes from our house but well worth it they are not skimpy with the meat that's for sure it's a must try!!!! read more

The burrito was okay , not the best I've ever tried but not as bad either. The only thing I didn't like was the mad attitude the guy made when I ask for extra onions and cilantro. Some people like onions on their burritos. The workers should just do it without attitude. Didn't even ask for extra red sauce. Will I come here again ... properly not , too far and it's all just hyped on social media. There are better place with better tasting burritos and nicer staff. read more

Meat was hard, and majority of my tacos were pure FAT with little consumable meat. Came here bc of the hype on tiktok buuut not my cup of tea. read more

Kind of expensive. Tortillas hecha a mano is extra. $0.75 credit card fee. got sick from the tortillas crudas.

0/10 NO STARS..... Yo soy una Tijuanera y los taco son mi mero mole. Don't waste your time or money la comida vale pura verga.. food is expensive and your getting poor quality food. If you see 5star comments it's because it family or someone that doesn't have good taste or isn't willing to leave the hood. Meat is over cook full of fat and cold and tasteless. If your like me and your willing drive to get good food I highly recommend Adobos tacos grill in Lakewood now that is fucken food and you get quality food, awesome customer service, and prices are decent. Social media hype this place too much. Do think because it say estilo Tijuana it's going to be good. To be quiet honest the tacos in TJ are starting to suck. It's just a matter of finding the perfect spot and cook. I hope this review helps you. read more

Honestly terrible! The meat and guacamole had no taste. It had me checking to see if I had covid and lost my taste. Pls save your money and hit up a taco place that actually has flavor. read more

Wow this place is amazing!! I can't believe how fresh and tasty the food is! This is a gem in Compton! The place is clean and you can see your food being prepared. There is outside seating, but I ordered my food to go. Now I'm not into spice so they were able to make me chicken tacos with nothing added. The chicken is so moist and flavorful! I also ordered a cheese quesadilla and they put a bunch of cheese and guacamole, onions and a little poblanos. It was just spicy enough, but I did drink a whole water bottle and horchata, the horchata was very good. My daughter ordered the chicken tacos with everything( she loves spicy food) and she asked for the hottest sauce.. She was able to get 1 taco down before reaching for her horchata, I could she steam coming out of her ears and she was sweating, but had a grin on her face. She said the tacos were the best she ever had. We will be back again!!! read more

This place was good. My only issue was that we placed our order with DoorDash for pick up and they gave me an address in Gardena! I had to call the restaurant to help me get there since we're not too familiar with the area. So yes, this place is in Compton! We ordered al pastor burrito, tacos and vampiros de carne asada. The meats were flavorful, the tortillas were homemade and delicious, the guacamole is just like you would find in any taco stand in tj and the salsa is so spicy and amazing! We will definitely be returning to this location. read more

The tacos de asada and pastor are bomb. The guacamole is fresh with hand made tortillas a must try place.

Food is delicious and full of flavor. The amount of guac is hefty. I never have any complaints when eating here. My go to is a carne asada quesadilla on a tortilla de mano. read more

This tacos spot is a must go to! They definitely have authentic tijuana style tacos Worth my money, Worth the drive!

Tijuana like quesadillas they are pretty big sharable. They replaced the old taco stand

Súper recomendado. read more

These are some BOMB AF tacos. They are very delicious they taste exactly what you would find in tijuana Mexico. Better than el fogón in paramount. Tortillas are homemade too. read more

This place is over rated. I pay 3.60 for extra order or tortillas. This is not a friendly personnel, the tacos tasteless the meat was very hard, I will never go back to this shitshow.
