Whataburger is a true Texan tradition -- whether it's your last meal in the Lone Star State, or…read moreyour first one back, it's bound to be a treat either way. In this case, it was the second option -- and I had brought my Californian friends along for the ride, as I had not had Whataburger in five years. Shoutout to the Loop 12 Irving Whataburger Team for taking care of us. The menu did get a little bit more expensive, but I guessed it was mainly due to inflation. But also there was an addition: Mexican Chocolate Coffee? Which I never heard of before. For this specific trip, I ordered a Whataburger Burger Combo - with a large drink and fries. To be fair, I forgot how big the Texas sizes were, so I was overwhelmed and wasn't able to finish the whole thing as a whole. However, the sandwich itself was so juicy and tender, and the bun was toasted in a way that was similar to what would be ordered at Cane's with their Texas Toast. I'd definitely come back again to this specific one -- you have my service and you ave a good vibe, and I'd definitely love to come back for more!

Not quite sure how I feel about In-N-Out fries after all these years, but a fresh hot batch of them eaten in-restaurant is definitely the way go vs. taking it home. Service is typical for In-N-Out, maybe a bit faster than usual, and the ambiance, despite being the same as any In-N-Out, doesn't seem quite as pleasant as some others. Still, they pretty much deliver what you expect, and that is definitely a tasty thing.

KKC has some of the best halal fried chicken I've had in the US, especially in the DFW area. This is one of those comfort meals you crave at 9 PM on a Tuesday that can't be beat. The ambiance is that of your average hole in the wall chicken joint. Overall I rate this place 8 s/10. ------------ The Zinger burger (basically a spicy chicken sandwich) is my go to order from here, a solid 8.5/10. They always put a huge chicken patty in there and a generous amount of sauce. You really can't go wrong. Their chicken itself is an 8/10, upgraded to 8.5 with the garlic sauce. They really got the spices down right. I would not recommend the Mac and cheese (5/10), it's very watery and lacked any flavor. The potato wedges were great though. (Although I'm not sure how you could mess those up).

One thing to note is that some of the side dishes have different prices on online orders when you add them on to your entrees vs. adding them separately ($.99 + difference). **Average Dish Cost(s): Under $8. **Food: 3 Piece White Meat Meal ($9.28)-- I chose white meat ($.80) and extra biscuits ($1.89) which increased the price from $6.59. The chicken was extremely delicious. It tasted fresh despite my order being late in the day and the skin was crisp and seasoned so well that I ate all of it. Usually I'll peel the skin off and discard it, but not this time. The white meat was juicy and nothing pink was found. 10/10. Extra biscuits ($1.89)-- These biscuits were some of the best I've ever had. Their outward appearance didn't match how delicious they were. They were soft and had an essence of honey to them. Side Mashed Potatoes ($2.99)-- I admit I was hesitant to eat this because I expected more of a brown gravy, but these were amazing! Not too salty and they tasted fresh. **Seating: Looked to have regular table style seating that is closed off due to the virus issue. **Location: It's located next to a bunch of other establishments within a mini strip type of place.
