I literally called and left messages with 4 different Termite companies and Taps were the only ones that not only answered but met my insane last minute demands. I needed someone to service my house within a couple of days at the latest and they came through for me. Justin was a complete professional badazz.... called me to set initial inspection and we got it all taken care of within a couple days. Justin and Darious we extremely polite and hardworking. I'd highly recommend these 2 guys anyday. Thanks again fellas. read more

They charged $400 for an inspection, recommended $1700 for tenting and $10,000 for repairs-all of which they do by the way. According to the report they saw some wood dust. Since their diagram of the house layout was completely off one has to wonder exactly where this dust is and since they make money off every step one has to wonder IF there was dust and how old that dust is anyway! If another company gives a similar report I'll gladly change this review. read more

I have been using Taps Termite & Pest Specialists for over a decade! While there are many other companies out there to chose from, the knowledge I have gained from Tim Denner and inspector Gary is priceless! They are honest and knowledgeable, offer competitive bids, and if I am on time constraints they are normally accommodating. I can not say enough for Tim, his company, and his office staff! read more

Tim's team is always very accommodating to do inspections on the spot and always makes me look good with my clients.

The best customer service out there! My grandpa's house had a termite problem so I called Terminex and scheduled an inspection which they never showed up to. Haha! I then called TAPS and was instantly more satisfied. Lynda and Gary were so professional and always answered the phone when I called them. They were able to meet me for the inspection within 1-2 days and had the report ready quickly after that. I just wanted the house to be tented and the report specified an exact price for that service. I forgot to pay the $170 inspection fee which they would have just credited toward the total cost for the tenting, but instead they just decided to not charge me for it! Good price for a big old house with a lot of wood! Great company! read more

I had a inspection performed as a buyer of a new home. Tim was extremely knowledgeable beyond just inspection details and also knew how the report needs to be generated for my lender. They also responded within 1 hour, after my other pest control agent canceled on my twice in two weeks. Anyways everyone was super professional and well worth the money spent. read more

Excellent service and good price for whole house fumigation. I had a different company do the initial termite inspection when we found dry wood termite. TAPS had the best bid for fumigation out of several companies we contacted. Lynda was very helpful and responded quickly. The fumigation was done by Best Care Fumigation, which answered many of my questions by email prior to the job. The work was done on schedule and without any issues. Hopefully the termites are gone for a long time, but I'd definitely would go back to TAPS if needed. read more

The entire team at TAPS was fabulous to work with and my clients were able to fund their VA loan on time. There was a substantial amount of work to be done on the property and Lynda was able to create an ideal schedule for our clients. We had a short amount of time to work with and the TAPS team pulled together and was an intricate factor in our success. I will most definitely refer them again. read more

Tim was awesome. Decided to refinance and the bank asked for a full inspection. Tim and team helped schedule a convenient time and were incredibly thorough during the inspection. He walked me around and discussed options for each item in need of repair and gave us terrific estimates for each and every fix. Good, honest, hard working people... couldn't have asked for more! read more

Been working with TAPS my whole real estate career, 12+ years and my Dad was working with them another 10+ before that. Tim and Gary always provide honest, complete reports in a very timely manner. Also, I have never had a complaint from any clients about their work or service. read more

We wanted to inspect our house during a remodel while studs are exposed. Taps accommodated our schedule and Tim did a thorough inspection through the house and the crawl space and gave us a very honest result. We will definitely use TAPS in the future for any termite treatments. read more

Fantastic service and great people to work with. We started our search for a termite specialist when we realized we had piles of wood shavings in our living room. After reviewing different companies on Yelp and having a couple of competitors come out to give us a quote, we decided on Taps and could not have been happier with our decision. The inspectors that came out were not only very professional (and on time), they were also extremely informative with years of experience and very easy to get along with. The quote was received shortly after and when I called to get more information and clarification, they were extremely helpful and friendly. They arrived on time for the appointment, completed the job, and I later received a completion document with everything they had done. No issues or delays which is exactly what one wants when getting rid of termites! Highly recommend TAPS Termite! read more

Awesome!. Took care of an inspection with little notice, was very detailed and wrote a great report. I highly recommend.

Great people, great service. Used them for my personal home and work was done fast. TAPS has great customer service always on top of what is being done or needs to be done. read more

TAPS dis a complete treatment of our home including tenting. It was made more difficult since we are living in the home and had to pack up and move out for for a few days. Both TAPS and Driskell Fumigation did a great job for us even though we had a couple of communication glitches. they were both responsive if something got a little askew and provided prompt and helpful advice. The workers were professional and the owners were very engaged. My wife and I are happy to recommend them without reservation. read more

Got 5 bids for my house and TAPS was the lowest. The manager Fernando was able to get their crew out the next day to do the work and haven't seen anymore termites since. Good people and fair prices. read more

Great people, service and prices. I have been working with Taps for some time now and they always strive to make me and my clients happy. I used them for my own personal residence and am very happy with their service. Tim has been in the business for a very long time and knows his stuff. I highly recommend Taps. read more

I used TAPS for treatment at my rental property in San Jose. They worked directly with my tenants to coordinate everything which took a load off my shoulders, provided a free inspection and got the work done for a good price within a just few days of my first call to them. I recommend these guys. read more

Late last year we noticed that we were seeing dust like powder near our bedroom window. Suspecting termite, we gave calls to a few termite companies and TAPS was once of them. Tim from TAPS came for inspection and did a thorough job of inspecting our entire house. He came to the conclusion that we had termite damage only on the window area and gave us two options (Local treatment or full house fumigation). He explained to us the pros and cons of both the options and also shared with us a whole lot of details about termites. The price quoted by TAPS was also lower than all other companies. We went ahead with TAPS for the local treatment. Their people came at the scheduled time and applied the necessary treatment. We were also given some warranty. It has been 3 months since the treatment and we have not seen those termite damage so far. We will say we are very satisfied with the experience with TAPS termite. read more

I have been recommending Tap's Termite to my clients and friends for many years. They are professional, honest and fair. The friendly staff promptly returns calls and generates reports, even when I have to ask for a rush to get an escrow closed! As a Realtor I have worked with many companies over the years so I know how important the right inspector can be in a sale transaction! Tim and Gary are great! read more

we didn't go with them due to the price, but the inspector has done a great job inspecting the property. They offer to do a lot in their quote, however, some that we don't really need. it feels like they tried to bundle a lot so they can charge for more. for example, they offer to do some treatments with an old subterrance termite issue in the crawl space, which he found no evidence of termites and was confirmed there's no active subterrance termite activity. The house was actually treated for subterrance termite less than three years ago, which the effective period for the treatment lasts from 5 - 10 years, therefore, it's not necessary to treat it again. read more

I always recommend TAPS to my clients. I have found them to be reliable, honest and dependable. They communicate throughout the process and my clients are happy with the end result. read more

Great service and great pricing! I compared the quote to a few other companies and this one beat out the pricing by over 25% my house was big too about 3,600 sf Thanks again for fumigating my Santa Clara house! read more

I have used them twice now. First through my property manager for my rental and lately for my primary residence. Both professional, thorough, and economical I couldn't be more pleased with their service. I especially like how they are very detailed in how they break down their quotes so that I can decide which treatments to do immediately and which can be budgeted for later. I highly recommend them ! read more
