I stopped by here the other day for a boba tea, and discovered they also had a basque cake. I've wanted to try one so I inquired about the ingredients beforehand. The staff politely told me the ingredients. I also tried a coconut milk tea. It was light and refreshing. The cake was rich and decadent...truly delicious. You rider via the kiosk and then they'll let you know once your order is ready. They have a few tables if you want to sit and drink your tea or eat your sweets.

I stopped by Tapioca Go to get a Lychee Green Tea one day and let my boyfriend take a sip. He enjoyed it so much that after we got to his house, we went back to get himself his own drink and another for myself! Ever since then, it's been our go-to boba shop whenever we're in Chesapeake. Love how Tapioca Go isn't too pricey, gives you a generous portion of toppings, and doesn't give you too much ice in your drinks. Thank you Tapioca Go for being the first boba shop to get my boyfriend hooked on boba :)

Definitely the best boba place in the tri-city area (that I've been to so far). I get the same thing everywhere I go; taro with tapioca boba. The drink my husband gets here is always delicious as well! My only qualm are the somber faces that you continuously get from behind the counter. This place really needs to take some lessons in friendly service. It's the only drawback keeping it from 5 stars. I get everyone has a bad day, but I've been here probably 10 times and the attitudes are the same across the board, no matter which cashier you get.

Randomly decided i wanted a boba type drink to carry home with me Saw this little shop tucked away in the shopping center I did a quick Yelp search and decided yes yes I want this Oh I love the one piece decorations that are all over the restaurant The prices are very reasonable they have peach popping boba as well normally I only see strawberry I was very excited for this. Then I saw they have a matcha drink with red bean as a topping and I got super excited I ordered two drinks with no regrets hahaha I got the Hawaiian tea which came with a full slab of pineapple I say slab because it was like rack of ribs hahaha it was the biggest spear of pineapple id ever had in a drink and It was sweet and juicy The matcha drink also had a cheese foam topping this was my favorite for such. Next time I'll ask for no ice but otherwise it was perfect The staff are friendly and work very fast. The bathrooms were clean and the whole place had a great feel to it

I have had better boba tea unfortunately. I'm a HUGE fan of boba tea. And I have to try it everywhere I go. I had high hopes for my drink and was disappointed. I got the TG Volcannno. I liked the nuts. But the flavor fell short for me. It tasted like just milk with a little bit of brown sugar. I feel like another flavor could've made this so much better. 5 out 10 My hubs got the red bean milk tea. And it had a very strong tea flavor and the red beans were hard to suck up. 7 out 10 Overall it could've been better for me.

This was the best boba drink I've had! I got the volcanno with foam and nut, and it was amazing! I absolutely loved the flavor added by the nut. It wasn't like anything I've had with boba before. I'll definitely be coming back again in the future!

I went to Tapioca Go in search of some good boba teas to quench my thirst. Upon entry, I was promptly greeted. I told the girl it was my first time and she handed me a menu and suggested I check out the poster board with all the fan favorites (see pics). I'm am pretty old school when it comes to Boba or Bubble Tea (tomato/tomatoe). I remember when bubble teas were so basic with just teas and milk teas with just the tapioca pearls. I get overwhelmed now with all the teas, milks, froths/snow creams (even smoothies, like what? How is that a tea?) and even the types of bubbles and jellies! I was getting order stress with too many options, so I decided to go for a fruity tea and a milky one. Passionfruit Green Tea with mango star jellies and popping peach pearls - I was initially going to go with Mango Green Tea but the girl suggested going with the Passionfruit Green Tea so I wouldn't get such an intensity of the mango, not that there is anything wrong with that being a mango lover. I'm glad I took her advice because it was a nice medley of tropical fruity flavors with the three fruits. I must say, being old school, I actually prefer these jellies and popping pearls. Right amount of sweet. It was refreshing and satisfied my craving. Thai Tea - I chose to get a Thai Tea as a drink to save for later and also to try the milk variety since I got a fruity one for immediate consumption. It was also on the Top 10 board so I thought I would give it a shot. I opted not to get the tapioca pearls since I got the fruity ones in the fruity tea. It was really good and just perfect when I did have it later today. - Notes/Tips - *They offer a military discount only on Mondays. (Thank you, TG!) *I noticed that the Brown Sugar Milk Tea seems to be available only on certain days. Not sure if this is just for this particular item but that's what I noticed at first glance at the menu. *Not sure if they had seating before this pandemic, or even before this new variant, but the bathrooms were blocked off and closed. No tables and chairs and there is a counter by the window, but no barstools either. In case you decided to dine in. *They have a rewards program that you sign up simply with your phone number and you earn points to get free teas. Sure, I'm in. It's conveniently located on Sam's Drive in the same strip as Judy's, so I was able to knock the 2 places at once! There are so many good spots around the area too! Stay safe, Friends!

We were getting lunch together at a place nearby and I really wanted some boba. I opened my handy dandy Yelp app and found this store right around the corner. I went with the honeydew milk tea with crystal boba. The drink was okay, it wasn't terrible, but instead of a strong honeydew flavor, the entire drink tasted florally. Some sips it felt as if I sprayed my grandmother's perfume in my mouth. Not sure if it was the tea itself or the crystal boba. The boba itself were tiny little balls and they were incredible firm. Not soft like I expected. My husband got a normal black milk tea and his was quite enjoyable. They did take the wrong name down the first day, but we liked how they made the experience a little more personal by asking for our names. We came back the next day day and I asked about the honeydew, and they remade one for me and gave me a sample cup to try. It tasted the same. I don't know if it's because of the Jasmine tea they use and I'm more acclimated to black tea, but I couldn't force myself to drink it. They gladly made me a regular iced black milk tea instead and my husband got a chai. The staff were pleasant both days, and we'd easily recommend the iced black and chai milk teas.

My boba journey started in this area about 6 years ago! As I am in the area at least once per year, it provides opportunities to try new venues, and Tapioca Go did not disappoint! From my home area here in RI to this area, Tapioca Go truly did not disappoint! And if I'm being honest you may want to go here first in the Chesapeake or Virginia Beach area! You will not be sorry!

Nice small spot with inexpensive drinks! I got a medium mango green tea with mango star jellies that ended up coming to $3.90. The tea was sweet with a mango taste that wasn't overpowering while also still having that green tea taste. I also received a stamp card that offers 1 free drink after you collect 10 stamps. Considering the average price it's great. They have many options not only of the drink but also what you can put in it. Which is nice because not everyone likes tapioca. On that note the tapioca has always been fresh and nice and frozen and nasty how I have had it in previous places. read more

Great service and DELICIOUS drinks!! They always inform us about the discounts when checking out. Their boba is really good and has great flavor. They also have punch cards! Buy 10 drinks, and the 11th is free With their quick and friendly service and yummy drinks, I will choose Tapioca Go over Kung Fu Tea any day. read more

Great drinks & nice chewy boba, and since it's the only boba place near me I keep going back. But it's very slow. They should figure out a new system, instead of handwriting the tags for the drinks. The cashier also forgot to write the tag for my drink, so I ended up waiting 15 mins for two drinks!! Also the space is a bit awkward. There's not much space to wait in line or wait for your drink, especially with COVID. I had to wait outside to keep a distance. So if you're willing to wait, I'd recommend! read more

Awesome selection of flavors and the staff is amazingly friendly, helpful and patient. With so much to choose from it may take you awhile to decide and they are eager to answer any questions and even offer samples of some of their teas. If you become a regular customer like myself it's like walking onto the set of Cheers where everyone knows you by name and greet you with genuine smiles. read more

Absolutely great service here. Of all the tapioca drink restaurants in the Hampton Roads area this by far is the best one that I've been to. I have great customer service and there Boba is made from scratch. No instant Boba. Their teas are also made from tea leaves and are brewed fresh daily. Once again no instant mixes here. It's all about quality. read more

My wife and I have been going here since they had their soft opening and it's been an amazing experience each time. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable about their products and helpful. They have several different flavors which will give you plenty of reasons to come back. For us the icing on the cake is the speed to get in their and get out and how customizable all of their drinks are. They also have a rewards program which after buying 10 drinks you get one free. It's hands down one of the best places in Hampton roads for a bubble tea. read more

Not a lot of places to get good boba in 757, so I'm glad this place opened up. Drinks here are customizable for sugar and ice levels as well as having a good number of choices for toppings. They have teas topped with something they call "salt cheese." Don't let the name discourage you or turn you off. It's an excellent addition to green and black teas. Highly recommended if you're in the Greenbrier area. read more

Tried Tapioca Go today, so many options it was hard to pick one. Anyway I ended up with a lemon tea with tapioca pearls and honey aloe, and it was so refreshing. Very flavorful, it was tart and sweet, but not sugary! I will definitely trying again! The packaging was adorable as well. read more

I've lived in Virginia for 4 years now and I can't find a place that beats tapioca go. From they're employees to their drinks, and down to the atmosphere and cleanliness of the place I won't go anywhere else! I'm from California and this hits close to home every single time. I've always had good experiences here and I have to leave a 5 star review after having a bad experience at Kung Fu Tea in Va beach and this is the only place that will get my service when it comes down to boba! read more

Went to this place for the first time yesterday and my friend and I both ordered their winter melon milk tea. The workers were so friendly and very helpful with my friend's questions. We were excited about the fact that we could adjust the level of sweetness and ice in our drinks, like other boba places do. However, the drink was too sweet for our taste even with 0% additional sugar. We had to ask again if they accidentally added additional sugar in which they replied no. So, we asked them to add more ice to our drinks to water them down a bit. The boba/tapioca pearls were nice and al dente. I would give them 3-stars for the drink alone, but because the workers were so nice and friendly, I upped my rating. read more

There was a time where I came here to get tea 3+ times a week and to be honest it was a little ridiculous how much I enjoyed coming here the girls who make the tea are seriously so kind and always greet me with a smile and have remembered me and my friends name I always get winter melon milk tea with 50% ice and tapioca balls but the coconut milk tea is super refreshing and light if it's a hot day out everything is so clean and I've never waited more than 2 or 3 minutes for my order to be ready this will always be my favorite boba place in VA they also have smoothies and like icee type rainbow drinks too if ur not a tea person I recommend this place to my friends constantly read more

Compared to other boba places in the area, this would be included in my top list of boba places. I love the concept of this place, I think it's super cute. The staff was super friendly when I called in an order over the phone and they gave me a discount with my Yelp check in, which was great. They also offer military and student discounts I believe, which other places do not offer. The price is a little cheaper than other places. The thai tea drink I got did not disappoint. Honestly i was a little hesitant when trying this because i love kung fu tea but honestly this is way better. i got the oreo and cappuccino with boba and it tastes amazing. theres actual pieces of oreo and you can really taste the coffee. over all major fan and the amount of boba you get !! read more

This place is ok. It's very clean. However, we were disappointed when we tried to order a black milk tea smoothie style with tapioca pearls. At first the girl taking our order didn't know if they had such a thing so she asked someone else in the back and was told no they can't do it. We noticed they had a couple of blenders and even offered other smoothie drinks. Tried telling them all they had to do was make the black milk tea mixture like they normally do with the ice cubes and instead of shaking it up in the shaking machine, put the entire mixture in the blender and blend the entire mixture. To no avail, they held their ground and said they couldn't do it. For us, this is a very basic order. The flavor of the black milk tea was a little on the weak side and could be made just a bit stronger. Yes, they have a military discount and a Yelp check in discount. Just be aware that if you add anything to your drink, like tapioca, it's an extra charge. read more

We had visited Virginia multiple times and are in awe of the wonderful welcoming southern hospitality that we felt from the people here so we wanted to make this our new home. I opted to try one of their seasonal lattes - the Mounds Bar latte with almond milk, mocha and coconut cold foam. It took only a few minutes for my order to be prepared. I did find the drink to be slightly sweet for my taste and would ask for half sweet on my next visit. For the lactose intolerant, they have almond and oat milk options. They also have several pastries and some hot food options to choose from like overnight oats and breakfast burritos from Burrito Perdido. I was really pleased with my recent visit and I'll be happy to come back soon!

I was told that Virginia Beach didn't really had much options in terms of bubble tea just about a year ago or so; the "biggest" ones were Yo Mama and Jelly Ball. So it definitely caught me and my friends by surprise when we start seeing new bubble tea places like Tapioca Go showed up, which according to their website, is an import from NY (or at least inspired by places in NY since I haven't of any Tapioca Go there), which is known for it's home grown brand like Kung Fu Tea and imports like CoCo and ShareTea from Taiwan and Boba Guys from San Francisco. Coming in to the store, I feel very welcomed with the all the more relate-able music playing in the background, and the cute decorations and set pieces around! It definitely seems like this store has put in some good effort to tailor it to the younger and more hip demographics; they are the children of the future after all! The staff is very friendly and seems to be working very hard for their soft opening since yesterday or a day ago. I decided to go with the tried and true milk tea with bubble, which is my go to drink for any new bubble tea joints that I try out! Overall, I think the tea is very aromatic and definitely tasted like it's freshly brewed from loose leafs instead of from powder or grounded tea leaves. The sweetness level seems to be pretty on point! A lot of the other bigger chain bubble tea stores tend to have an issue with over-sweetening their drinks at the normal level to appeal to the sugar-addicted population in the US, so it's good to see that this place is making a statement about remaining true to the tea's taste by not overshadowing it with loads of sugar! The bubble itself however did seem to need a little bit more work; it didn't have the consistent "soft, but chewy" taste that I get from the bubble tea places that I like the most. Granted this is just their soft opening and they are new, so they could still be working on perfecting it! The wait is also a little longer than I would have liked, but I'm sure they are still working on getting people all trained up. I will definitely have to come back and give this store a second try when I come visit VA Beach again, because I REALLY want to try the Thai tea drink!! read more

I am sick and tired of fake, copy cat, chinese owned companies! I am from New York and I looked up their business, it only exists in Mexico!! Why would you lie to your customers to gain popularity as a business model? How can we trust your company? What else is fake? Your tea? Flavors? Bubbles? Their Thai tea was mediocre at best, would not recommend it, I drove 20 minutes to get there, I will not be going back! One star for their decor, I like the clean feel.
